Der drr-H130 war ein Haushaltkühlschrank aus dem VEB dkk Scharfenstein im Kombinat VEB Monsator. (dkk: deutsche Kühl- und Kraftmaschinen) . dkk Scharfenstein wurde 1926 durch die Firma „Zschopauer Motorenwerke J.S. Rasmussen“ gegründet. Man konzentrierte sich zunächst auf die Produktion von Kleinkühlgeräten – damals eine Marktlücke in Deutschland. Bereits 1929 wurde erstmals ein Haushalts- und Gewerbekühlschrank vorgestellt. Von nun an wurde auch das Firmenzeichen „DKW-Kühlung“ zu einem weltweiten Begriff und schon 1931 wurde das Unternehmen eigenständig als „Deutsche Kühl- und Kältemaschinen GmbH“ ins Handelsregister eingetragen. 1933 vor Beginn des Zweiten Weltkrieges entwickelte man den ersten Kühlschrank mit eingebautem Kältesatz. . Der Krieg jedoch brachte den Erfolgstrend beider Unternehmen zunächst zum Erliegen, 1945 folgten die Enteignung der Werke und die Demontage zur Wiedergutmachung der Kriegsschäden. . Nachfolger der Kraußwerke wurde 1948 der „VEB Waschgerätewerk Schwarzenberg“: Er wurde nach Wiederaufnahme der Produktion zum DDR-Monopolisten und zum bedeutendsten Waschgerätehersteller Osteuropas. Zuletzt fertigten rund 3.000 Mitarbeiter im Werk 520.000 Geräte jährlich. . Im Werk „VEB dkk Scharfenstein" Scharfenstein stieg man unterdessen in die Serienproduktion von Haushaltskühlschränken ein. Aufgrund der steigenden Stückzahlen wurde 1955 ein weiteres Werk eingeweiht, zwei weitere Fabriken kamen 1983 und 1988 hinzu. Die Firma hatte Exportpartner in 30 Ländern und fertigte zuletzt über eine Million Kühl- und Gefrierschränke pro Jahr.
