Esoscheletri robotici ultra-leggeri in arrivo dalla Corea, offriranno prestazioni atletiche migliorate. La tecnologia indossabile fa un nuovo passo avanti nel campo della riabilitazione e del supporto motorio. L'azienda sudcoreana Hurotics sta rivoluzionando il settore con una nuova generazione di tute robotiche ultra-leggere, presentate durante il recente CES 2025 Global Media Meetup a Seul. Fondata solo nel 2022, questa promettente startup guidata dal CEO Giuk Lee sta già attirando l'attenzione internazionale grazie ai suoi innovativi esoscheletri, progettati per essere molto più pratici e accessibili rispetto ai tradizionali modelli disponibili sul mercato. Ma non è solo questione di premi: il primo modello passivo dell'azienda, denominato H-Band, ha già conquistato prestigiose istituzioni americane come l'Università dell'Illinois a Chicago e la Northwestern University.

Quello che rende davvero speciali questi dispositivi è il loro peso incredibilmente contenuto. Pensate che il modello H-Medi pesa solo 15 kg, mentre i moduli H-Flex raggiungono il record di appena 0,6 kg ciascuno. Una caratteristica che li rende molto più pratici e utilizzabili rispetto agli ingombranti esoscheletri tradizionali. I risultati preliminari sono più che incoraggianti. Nei test condotti presso l'ospedale universitario Chung-Ang su pazienti affetti da sarcopenia, si sono registrati significativi miglioramenti sia nella durata dell'esercizio fisico che nella postura durante la deambulazione. L'azienda sta anche esplorando applicazioni per pazienti nelle prime fasi del Parkinson, con l'obiettivo di ottenere le certificazioni mediche necessarie entro maggio 2024. Ma le applicazioni non si fermano all'ambito medico. Nel campo sportivo, la tuta H-Fit ha dimostrato di poter migliorare le prestazioni atletiche in modo significativo: i test hanno evidenziato una riduzione di tre secondi nei tempi di sprint sui 200 metri e un aumento del 7% nella distanza del colpo nel golf. Il successo dell'azienda non è passato inosservato agli investitori: Hurotics ha recentemente raccolto 3,5 miliardi di won (circa 2,5 milioni di dollari) in un round di finanziamento pre-Serie A, dimostrando la fiducia del mercato nel suo potenziale.
