Teddy found his way into the sweet embrace of two large Gum trees as he roamed through Royal National Park. In fact, he was so fond of these trees that he demanded two photos of himself in each just to be sure the entire feel of them was captured. Take a moment to move through the dappled light of the bush with Teddy, maybe you too will see why he found some solace in their presence.

( Digital Drawing ) Feather Tail Gliders

The world's smallest gliding mammal is found in Australia. Living in tree hollows, they pick fresh leaves and carry them curled in their tails to stuff the entrance of their nest.

While back on the woodlot, I noticed it seems the Gray Squirrels are clipping the male flowers from the Sweet Gum trees (Liquidambar styraciflua)... They may be as fed up as I am with these record levels of pollen we have had for a few days now...
