Under the cut complaining
I’m trying to do something w wxs tv tropes page & I wanna preface this by saying I like emukasa they are so dear to me. but Come On. this is definitely only there because it’s m/f. If u wanna put this in her folder u gotta put stuff for rks/emnn. It’s equality.
1. Not even true anymore & it’s been stated more often that she shows up explicitly to see nene
2. I actually never thought abt that. Neat! But also if ur gonna mention this why not mention the rks Romeo and Juliet scene.
3. Gestures at nene in soad/ohe and tsukasa in wonder halloween
4 & 5. Fair but also. Rui does this with tsukasa too. Iirc Rui even had a comical gap between how many times he said tsukasa’s name and how many times he said whoever was in second place’s name.
#mine#I don’t disagree with anything they’re saying I just think that either you do this for emu+nene about each other and rui abt tsk#or you don’t do this at all. because I guarantee they’d be ‘it’s just friendship stuff’ if it wasn’t m/f u know? u know.#also my complaint is semi borne from my emunene bias what of it

I like you to just for your art but you speak your opinions that I’m too scared to agree with publicly
Eg: that one artist always getting ccs to comm them and sosig
Unfortunately I am too full of emotion and feelings at all times to not speak my mind haha. It makes me happy if it offers anyone food for thought, or if it's vocalizing things that some people would be too afraid to speak of themselves. That's what the inbox is for too, please use me as a confessional lol (insert salute emoji)
#Also thank you Im glad you like my art too!!#I maintain that I welcome other opinions and criticism etc but no guarantee that I'll post everything because I very much havent#I may be deeply emotional but some asks are not worth my energy haha. The invalidation is not worth it. ANYWAY thats few and far between#I really enjoy seeing people's input and agreeing or disagreeing stances on anon where they feel comfortable#blabber#neg sosig

My hot take is that people advocating for 4-day work weeks are leaving a vast majority of workers out of there plans, especially workers who are on hourly wage. Lowering work expectations is a good idea, yeah. But that has to come AFTER they increase min wage. Because for many? Having their hours cut is a death sentence, and there's a lot of people who refuse to acknowledge that.
this is actually something ive been thinking about a lot lately! yeah i understand the excitement when we hear about businesses trying out a shortened workday or workweek or whatever and i think its fine to like. derive a little precious hope from that. but even in the places where these shortened workweeks already exist, you gotta think abt who actually gets to benefit from them.
imo its kinda like. im so so grateful for weekends, for federal holidays, for overtime and holiday pay, but especially because p much all of the jobs i worked before my current one didnt offer any of those!! i think its possible to support the fight for better work conditions while acknowledging that its very probable only a small percentage of workers will actually reap the benefits until we've successfully implemented a universal basic income at the very least.
--
send me controversial or unpopular opinions and I'll tell you if I agree or disagree
#ask#ask meme#tldr i guess is i agree but with the caveat i think we should still be fighting for 4 day weeks BUT NEVER NEVER NEVER BE SATISFIED WITH THA#KEEP FIGHTING UNTIL EVERY PERSON IS CARED FOR EVERY NEED IS MET#partial disagreement in that i highly doubt if the 4 day week is implemented it will even be extended to those working for an hourly wage#its gonna be all salaried office workers guaranteed but while that. sucks. i think its still work fighting for#did i just talk myself into disagreeing actually? idk idk

you cant just drop the info about having seen faeries in the tags and NOT share those stories????????? What happened??
If I tried, it would be incoherent, lmao. But here are some examples: [1] [2]
There were... several more, but nothing quite as substantial. Most the of shit I encountered I seldom saw with my own eyes, but rather heard or felt, and often were kept at bay by "anti-faerie measures", (which usually just consisted of presenting them an offering of butter and honey on a pretty plate, FAR from the house).
By the way! I count many spirit-type entities as "fae", based solely on their vibe/behavior/preferred "habitats". There doesn't seem to be any established espookies taxonomy, (why would there be, lol), though I have some sort of... working categorization going on in my head. (For instance: All humans currently on earth are members of the same hominid subspecies. Los Espookies maybe aren't as precisely related to one another, but Seelie Court-type mfers are at the very least in the same genus as Puckwudgies, if not the same subgenus or actual species. For my own personal understanding and mental categorization, "Fae(ries)" is at LEAST a genus, if not a whole ass family.)
Also! I am well aware that I'm insane. I'm not really, even if I sound it. Really, truly, honestly, it's probably because I was raised with the belief that these things were real in the first place, and it wasn't one of the common/socially accepted spiritualities. Doesn't mean they're actually real. (Even though they ARE. 😤)
#anon#anon ask#ignore me#i really do wanna start a taxonomic system of Los Espookies bc i guarantee you i disagree with any that may already be out there lmfao#but for funsies if nothing else#also im sure i deleted that poll rb p quickly bc i was like uhhhh im braindead this evening and im not sure if im reading this shit right

This is only tangentially related to the original post, but I'm curious on your perspective on terfism. Here in the US, it feels like there's a pretty strong libera/conservative divide on trans issues, and almost no one who is generally liberal/progressive would hold terf views. Whereas it's been so weird to me in the last few years to see, in the UK, that plenty of people who are otherwise more on the left will also be terfs (though so often, it seems like being a terf is a gateway to more right-wing views overall, not surprisingly). So, just curious what it's like in Australia.
I'd say it's probably more similar to the US than it is the UK in that it's a liberal/conservative issue, but honestly, it's also a conversation Australia is desperately trying not to have at the moment. The current government is a moderate-left leaning government, and they're completely terrified of a culture wars situation starting here to the point that there's just been an enormous kerfuffle around the 2026 Census where the government lost its mind over test censuses having questions on gender diversity and sexuality. And it's not because they're bad on those issues (although they're not great)! It's literally because they're scared of the discourse becoming A Thing here.
The irony being that by not including the questions - and then including altered versions of them again, because they backpedaled hard after backlash - it made it A Thing anyway.
A lot of journalists / political commentators here talk about how Australia tends to be five years behind the rest of the world when it comes to any sort of quote-unquote 'Hot Button Issue', which I think is partially true, but I also think a lot of the divisive commentary in Australia at the moment has been more focused on race, migration and disability which just hasn't given the TERF conversation as much oxygen as I think it's probably been getting in other parts of the world.
Like, I stay pretty up-to-date with the news here, and all the fear mongering and ugly discourse this year feels very tied up in a Referendum we had earlier in the year which would have enshrined a First Nations voice to government in the Constitution which stirred enormous racism and swallowed up literally everything else in public discourse for about six months (I work with a lot of First Nations artists and actors at the theatre too, and they all told me they'd experienced the worst racism of their lives during the Referendum window). It's also shifted to people scamming the NDIS (a government medicare program which gives people with disabilities more support and benefits), and now migration as the cause of the housing crisis (which it fundamentally is not).
Transphobia, gender essentialism and TERF rhetoric definitely exists here, but it at least isn't currently as politicised, I think, as it is elsewhere.
#also like - - the pundits i'd expect to be terfs aren't? at least not yet?#like this name won't mean anything to people overseas but i would guarantee you that mia freedman was a terf and yet she's been interviewin#trans teens about how schools can better look after them#like#mia freedman queen of white woman victimhood and editor for middle class suburban mums#who's constantly in scandals for her terrible takes and not paying writers lol#broken clock etc#so yeah idk!#others might disagree with me but it just doesn't seem to be as loud as a rhetoric here at least not yet#ask me again in five years haha

not to be a doomer but the more time goes on, the more it feels as if violence is the only answer. it seems like there's been thousands of people protesting every single week, and yet the government just gets worse and worse. it feels like it's a thing that's floating in the back of all our heads, that the USA is so corrupt from the ground up that there is no peaceful way to gain meaningful change. there is no slow process that we can take to fix things, and even then, they can overturn shit at a moments notice. the people we vote for don't listen to us, never have and never will, because they know they've made it so that they're untouchable. i am so sick of this
#worst part being: we also know the government would not hesitate to massacre us#we live in a police state. cops have ADMITTED they'd take joy in killing people they disagree with.#only one person died on Jan 6th. but if the other side were to try the same shit...#dozens would be dead in minutes I guarantee#anyways. :) im doing great

There have been some scam blogs that only started 4-10 days before messaging people (i.e. me, cuz when you get 4 in as many days, there's gotta be something amiss, bc this is not the site that that many people at once would flock to for donos), which follows how the scam blogs typically operate, but from what I can tell in the notes there were a couple of people who may be legitimate cuz they had posts going back to 2012. One of the people in my inbox went back about a month, so they may have been legit (spam blogs don't typically stay up for that long). Not to say some scammer couldn't have hacked the account, bc that happened to someone I used to follow before they deleted their blog or something, but without seeing that person's content, there's no way to make that determination whether or not they were hacked. And usually the hacking isn't to drum up money to a fake fundraiser.
Tbh I'm glad the initial post was made by a big blog like this, even if the wording was harsh and uncalled for in the reblog by the mod, bc that's how I found out me and someone else I follow weren't the only ones getting flooded by blogs asking for donations and claiming to be vetted within days of each other. I know one was legitimate, but I'm doubtful of the other ones. In general, I don't think going to blogs and messaging them to contribute to your go fund me is the best way to go about it specifically for this reason, bc Tumblr is trained to assume that they're a scam; remember the animal hospital scam accounts that were around less than a year ago? And before that, people asking to "check out my game" or to check out the coding on their blog and it would lead to a scam. Definitely the issue here is that it got out of hand and people were being rude and mean.
(although, also, people in the notes aren't off the hook for telling the mod to kill themselves. Real upstanding job there, guys :/ you catch more flies with honey than vinegar, even if said fly doubles down on being wrong)
Hi, @writing-prompt-s original admin here. I have not logged in on this account in over 6 years. I deeply deplore the way it has been used recently and for this I would like to apologise. This is a writing prompts blog and not a politics blog. I have removed all members with access to this account. This blog will continue to operate until the queue runs out. If someone can teach me how to remove a pinned post from the Chrome browser on Android I would be very grateful.
#also i take issue with the fact that this 'isnt a politics blog' bc i guarantee you some prompts werent very subtle at some point in time#but i wouldnt be able to point you to any specific examples#i also disagree that the initial post was political per se but the reblog is where it started going amiss#im generally not inclined to donate to random links i see floating around; only if it's someone I've followed for years

Why do people say things like switching the demographic for which a manga is for would improve its story or the characters in it. I see the idea "Sasuke would be better off in a seinen anime" all the time and it's so confusing because are y'all under the impression that seinen anime are incapable of being bad and reactionary or something?
#send post#Like maybe it could portray the Uchiha Massacre with all the horror that it deserves but the tone being more for adults isn't guaranteed to#rid you of the ''vengeance is bad and defecting from the State is worse :('' messaging#Also no offence but as a long-established Sasukegirl I find the ''get him out of this show!!'' narrative embarrassing. The ways in which#Naruto fails politically does not begin nor end at the Uchiha Clan Massacre dfkjshjfsdhkjdsfhkjsd#Not that I disagree that it's one of the most egregious examples of it. It is and I'll be on my death bed complaining to Kishimoto about it#but also Naruto has Other Characters y'all. Who are also interesting. Believe it or not.

Substitute
Danny as Phantom, bored out of his mind tried his best to keep his eyes open, this JL meeting, the meeting was about a cause of mind control or something, in short this was just boring,
he was here as a substitute for Constantine because that man ditched the last second, and left Phantom for himself.
His so gonna push the man off the ledge when he sees him.
Danny continued to dissociate, until he heard a familiar name, coming out of the dark knight's mouth.
"Ember? the popstar? batman do you really think she's the one doing this mind control thing?" Flash asked, he was also almost falling asleep until the popstar's name was said. "Man, Ember's songs are such a vibe, hope she's not some supervillain"
"It is not confirmed, All we know is that she might only be a meta civilian that really just wants to show the world her songs" Wonder woman reasoned, from the far end of the table.
"Until further notice, we shall gather some crimes she unknowingly did, and have her quarantined for the mean time." Batman stated at the other side of the table.
wait what? Quarantine Ember? His rogue and friend, no that wouldn't do.
"I need to disagree with you there Mr. Batman" Phantom called out gaining all the members attention
"And why is that, Phantom?" Superman asked for Batman, who only stared at the ghost with curiosity.
"Well, you did specifically said that members cannot, mess with other members rogues" Phantom exclaimed "If you mess with Ember you're practically breaking your own rules,"
"The Ember, is your rogue?" Flash said astonished. "Wait that means she's also a ghost like you, But why are you just letting her go around the world parading?"
"Yes she's a ghost like me, i let her parade the world because she's on a vacation I mean this whole world tour speaks for itself, putting her in quarantine will do no good for her or anyone, and the whole mind controlling thing is so last season for Ember, she just sucks the energy out of people who hear her songs so she herself can have energy." Phantom explained, floating down to sit on his designated chair. "Besides I keep track of her, to make sure she doesn't create havoc and overdue her powers, she hasn't mind controlled anyone that's for sure."
Phantom eyed batman who still remained, quiet, he looked like he was thinking of something deeply, whatever it was Danny didn't care as long as Ember and the other ghosts are safe.
"And how would you guarantee that Ember won't harm any human citizens?" Batman questioned.
"Oh that's easy, because I already told them what will happen, if they either try to hurt humans" Danny let out a smile that showed all his sharp fangs, his eyes glowed a toxic green, that made everyone in the room uncomfortable, his hair floated more aggressively and uncontrollably. "I think they got the message."
Everyone felt scared at that moment, just who the hell did Constantine, bring in here?
