Including an $85 box of chocolates (my favorite part), a $50 bottle of greek dressing, a body lotion described as ‘revitalizing grapefruit that mingles with effervescent notes of neroli, carrying a crisp breeze of orange blossoms enlivened by zested citrus’, green apple scented candle, and an inexplicable set of coton color linen napkins in panthers reverse retro colors.

In what would definitely be our last night in town, but we were all kind of wondering at that point if our flights would be canceled on account of the impending hurricane, we went to Taverna Opa, the sister restaurant to Kavas that we had gone to earlier on the trip. 

Taverna Opa is Greek, and they have a belly dancer come around and perform for everyone, and they like to throw napkins around everywhere and yell--wait for it--Opa!. It’s a bit cheesy, but I’ll forgive the silliness because the food here is really excellent. The lamb ribs with garlic and lemon were so simply prepared but rich in flavor, and the lamb gyro had the perfect texture. I was also a fan of the falafel, and the octopus fans at my table thought it was executed perfectly.

summary:

On a summer getaway to Santorini, Greece, Y/N finds herself staying in a charming Airbnb with her family, soaking in the breathtaking views and vibrant atmosphere of the island. However, what was supposed to be a peaceful vacation takes an unexpected turn when she discovers that they’ll be sharing the house with none other than Formula One driver Oscar Piastri, who’s also vacationing with his family.

At first, the arrangement feels awkward, the two worlds of celebrity racing and her relatively normal life as a collegiate student colliding in the most unforeseen way. But as the days go by, the initial surprise gives way to something deeper. As they explore the sun-drenched beaches, dine in quaint tavernas, and experience the lively nightlife of Santorini, Y/N and Oscar find themselves drawn to each other in ways they hadn’t anticipated.
