I use Photopea. They´re all webp. They´re not in gif format.

I sometimes use .webp if the gifs are very short and I don��t want to spend more time with filters and colours. Dither won´t help with animation most of the times in my opinion. If you really want to remove that bending you have to adjust the colours or cover it with noise.

sorry if this is a dumb question, but do you know if the color of the wing charges changed? I swear the color is less saturated and a bit more orange than it used to be, but maybe I’m just being a little crazy :,)

The cape wedges(?) should not be more orange than usual, check your device if it's on some sort of anti-blue light filter or different settings as that may influence it to appear orange rather than a yellow.
