Best Drills to Fix a Slice in Golf: Take Control of Your Ball Flight
Best Drills to Fix a Slice in Golf: Take Control of Your Ball Flight
The dreaded slice is one of the most common problems in golf, particularly for beginners and high-handicap players. A slice occurs when the ball curves dramatically from left to right (for right-handed golfers), often causing a loss of distance and accuracy. Fixing a slice requires addressing the root causes, which typically involve improper grip, swing path, and clubface alignment. Here are some of the best drills to help you fix your slice and improve your game.
1. The Alignment Stick Drill
Why It Works:
One of the main causes of a slice is an outside-to-inside swing path. The Alignment Stick Drill encourages a more neutral swing path, helping to reduce the likelihood of slicing the ball.
How to Do It:
Place an alignment stick or a golf club on the ground, pointing slightly to the right of your target (for right-handed golfers). This will guide your club on an inside-to-out swing path.
Take your regular stance, ensuring the clubface is square to the target.
Swing your club along the path of the stick, focusing on keeping the club on the inside of the target line as you swing through.
This drill helps to encourage an in-to-out swing path, which can help close the clubface at impact, reducing the slice.
2. The Half-Swing Drill
Why It Works:
A slice can often result from trying to hit the ball too hard, leading to a poor swing path and an open clubface. The Half-Swing Drill focuses on making a controlled, compact swing that can improve your strike and accuracy.
How to Do It:
Start by taking a half swing (about shoulder height) with a short iron or wedge.
Focus on a smooth, controlled swing. The goal is to avoid overswinging and to maintain solid contact with the ball.
Once you’re comfortable with the half-swing, gradually lengthen your backswing, but continue to emphasize control and proper alignment.
This drill will help you focus on a more consistent and accurate swing path while preventing an overactive hand action that causes a slice.
3. The Clubface Control Drill
Why It Works:
An open clubface at impact is a primary cause of slicing. This drill helps you develop better control over the clubface, promoting a square or slightly closed position at impact.
How to Do It:
Take your regular stance, but place a tee or object just outside the toe of your club.
As you swing, make sure the clubface remains square to the target line (or slightly closed) throughout the swing.
Focus on turning your forearms naturally as you make contact with the ball.
If the clubface is square, you’ll notice a straighter ball flight or even a slight draw. If you’re still slicing, check for excessive hand rotation or an open clubface at impact.
4. The Grip Drill
Why It Works:
A weak grip (where your hands are turned too much to the left on the club) is another common culprit behind the slice. Adjusting your grip can help you square the clubface at impact, which is crucial to fixing a slice.
How to Do It:
Begin by holding the club with your normal grip.
Focus on making sure that the “V” formed by your thumb and index finger on both hands is pointing toward your right shoulder (for right-handed golfers).
Your hands should feel more neutral or slightly stronger (rotated slightly to the right) to prevent the clubface from opening too much during the swing.
Once you’ve adjusted your grip, practice hitting shots while paying attention to whether the ball starts to fly straighter.
5. The Pump Drill
Why It Works:
The Pump Drill helps you build muscle memory for the correct swing path and sequence. It’s especially useful for preventing an over-the-top swing that causes a slice.
How to Do It:
Take your normal stance and set up to the ball with a short iron.
Begin by swinging the club back as you normally would, but stop when the club is parallel to the ground.
From this position, “pump” the club forward by bringing it down toward the ball, but don’t hit it yet. Pause about halfway down and check your swing path.
Continue to pump the club for several repetitions, focusing on swinging from the inside and keeping your clubface square.
After several pumps, complete the full swing, making sure the club stays on the correct path and the ball flies straighter.
6. The Towel Drill
Why It Works:
The Towel Drill focuses on ensuring that you’re not coming over the top with your swing, which can often lead to a slice. By promoting an in-to-out swing path, you’ll learn to make contact with the ball more effectively.
How to Do It:
Place a towel or object just outside your right foot (for right-handed golfers) and about a foot behind the ball.
The goal is to swing the club without hitting the towel as you make contact with the ball. If you hit the towel, it means your swing is too steep and coming over the top, which can promote a slice.
This drill helps you focus on an inside-out swing path, which is critical for correcting a slice.
Focus on swinging the club in such a way that it moves on a more natural arc, avoiding an over-the-top motion.
7. The Feet Together Drill
Why It Works:
The Feet Together Drill promotes better balance and rhythm in your swing, which can help you avoid the common error of spinning out and slicing the ball.
How to Do It:
Take your normal stance but place your feet close together so that your heels are almost touching.
Swing the club in a controlled motion, focusing on maintaining balance as you make contact with the ball.
This drill encourages proper weight transfer and helps you avoid swaying or spinning, which can lead to a slice.
Once you’re comfortable with this, slowly widen your stance and continue to focus on smooth, controlled swings.
8. The Weighted Club Drill
Why It Works:
A slice often occurs due to a lack of strength or control over the club, especially in the lower body and arms. The Weighted Club Drill helps build strength and improves your swing tempo.
How to Do It:
Take a weighted club or attach a swing weight to your regular club.
Practice hitting shots with the weighted club, focusing on a smooth and controlled swing.
The added weight helps you develop strength and encourages a more fluid motion, which can reduce the chances of slicing.
Gradually return to your regular club, and you’ll notice an improvement in both your swing speed and accuracy.
Conclusion:
Fixing a slice requires a combination of technical adjustments, consistent practice, and patience. The key is to focus on the root causes of the slice—whether it's an incorrect grip, swing path, or clubface alignment—and work systematically to address them. Incorporating these drills into your practice routine will help you make substantial improvements in your game, and over time, you’ll see your slice diminish, leading to straighter, more accurate shots.
Start practicing these drills today, and you'll be on your way to conquering that slice for good! 🏌️♂️

There’s Magic in the Night
A new year is breaking, and it's full of possibilities.
⬅️ Previous
(Reminder: not Repugnant accurate.)
It’s a 15min walk from the nearest subway stop in a part of the city that hosts low-income and broke college folk, and you’re beginning to wonder if your heeled boots were the best choice—but the shiny patent of them so nicely offset your cheap pink and black tulle skirt and fuzzy black crop sweater with inlaid tinsel that you’d decided on form or function. You’d almost changed your top when Mary had knelt and given your tummy a raspberry where it hung over the waistband a little, but his cute little pout had placated you a little after you’d threatened to do just that.
“You want a piggyback?”
“Nah, I’m all right, Mare. We’re almost there, right?”
“Yeah.”
Using his chin, he indicates a house down the block with a light on in every window and that’s lit up with string lights. It’s a little run down, but not falling apart. The neighborhood is full of three-story homes that are either co-ops or rented out by various floor configurations.
You’d tried to follow his explanation on who he knew and how, but the most you’d retained was that of the 6 people who rented the entire house, Mary knew 2 of them intimately. (“Yeah, they’ve had it every year that they’re lived there. I’m pretty sure a good third of the crowd is party crashers, but the more the merrier, right?”)
The closer you get, the louder the din from the house becomes—it sounds like there are 4 different playlists fighting for dominance, and the crowd ASMR is strong. There is a gang of smokers spilling from the front porch, down the cement steps, and clumped into murders in the small yard.
Ed and Dee are leaning against the railing on the steps, shivering in their best band tees as they take drags of their cigarettes.
“Hey, man!” says Mary as he leans forward and engages them both in a sloppy approximation of a cool, secret handshake.
“Hey, Goore!”
“Long time no see, dude.”
You nod at them, and they nod back.
“Where’s the rest of the gang?” asks Ed as he strains to see behind you in the dark.
Apparently Mary usually pregamed with his bandmates and then they headed over en masse later in the night. Horrified, you’d tried to convince him to uphold the tradition, but he’d insisted he could break off one year (“I’m not gonna toss you to the wolves, Suey. I see those assholes all the time.”).
Mary blows out a breath, and it hangs in the air like the puffs of smoke.
“Still pregaming. They’ll be by later. I wanted to give Suey the grand tour.”
Mary makes a sweeping motion, then wraps that arm around you. Ed and Dee’s eyes flick back to you.
“He’s a fucking liar; he was afraid one of you would steal me away.”
Ed coughs out the drag he was taking, and Dee snorts.
“You’re killing my street cred, woman.”
“Whatever, dude,” says Dee with a smirk, and Mary glowers at him. “You wanna bum one?” Dee holds out his pack as if in contrition.
Mary’s hand twitches, but he shakes his head.
“Nah, dude. Not unless it’s that chronic shit.”
“Yeah, they got those somewhere.”
“Cool. Cool cool cool.”
A few merrymakers exit the house—laughing and screaming—and they push by the lot of you as they presumably journey on toward another party.
“All right, dudes. We’re gonna go make the rounds, get some cold ones. See you on the other side!”
“Sounds good!”
“Do it.”
Mary ushers you inside, and—despite the open door—the warmth of the house hits you, making you feel suddenly uncomfortable in your winter coat. Like the outside, there’s a general mass of bodies that are sectioned off (in the hall; on the stairs; spilling out of the kitchen; lounging in the living areas) like music notes in a run of measures. You spot a worn-looking chair that’s piled high with coats, and you go to toss yours on, but Mary grabs your arm.
“Geez, Suey. You wanna get your coat jizzed on?”
“I—what?”
“C’mere, let’s not add our stuff to the pile that’s gonna make someone a nice sex bed later.”
He yanks your coat out of your hands and opens a door that leads to the hall closet. A beach ball tumbles out and is joyfully absconded with by a trio of party goers walking by, and Mary catches one golf club in his hand as it falls out from the top shelf and another under his arm. Unfortunately, he doesn’t catch the one that hits his booted foot, but you managed to stand on tiptoe enough to prevent the entire bag from depositing its contents on Mary’s head.
“Jesus fucking Christ.”
Between the two of you, you manage to get the clubs back in order from whence they fell.
You can see that there’s other junk up there and in the back—whether it lives there permanently or was just shoved in there pre-party, you guess you’ll never know—but there’s an entire row of coats on a rod, which seems to be the closet’s main purpose.
“Here.” Mary rifles through the mess until he finds a free hanger. It takes some adjusting, but he finally gets his leather jacket and your coat onto the same hanger and manages to squeeze it back into the mass.
“OK. Let’s go find Shonda.”
“Not Murray?”
“Apparently he’s elsewhere tonight.” He shrugs.
There’s a sudden squeal of voices, and when you turn, you see Kara and Elsie hurrying toward you. Elsie is in a sequined dress so garish it must be fashionable and Kara sports a sparkly red sweater over black jeggings that she’s wrapped fairy lights around.
“So you’re not dead!” says Kara
“Uh … no?”
“Christ, I would have called you, but I’ve spent the last few days with my head in a toilet,” laughs Elsie.
“Yeah, thanks for that guys,” says Mary. “What I really wanted to do at the crack of dawn was take care of this lush.”
“Pffft,” snorts Elsie. “You’re one to talk, Goore. As if your head doesn’t live in the toilet.
“Yeah, total karma, Mary. Remember that time you got your stomach pumped?”
“Jesus, Mare,” you say at him with a bemused smile. He scowls.
“Look. Honey whiskey goes down easy.”
Elsie and Kara cackle before grabbing up your hands.
“C’mon, let’s get you a drink, hon,” says Kara.
“What about me?” pouts Mary.
Elsie sniffs over her shoulder at him as she pulls you down the hall.
“Sorry, Goore. Girls only. Go set shit on fire or something.”
“That was once!” you hear Mary call down the hall after you.
“Wait—what did he set on fire?”
Elsie looks at you and mimics locking her mouth and throwing away a key.
The kitchen is full of bodies. In one corner, there’s a game of beer pong set up, and in the other, people are digging beer containers out of a giant cooler. On the counter are a few bowls half-filled with various snacks—the other half of which seem to be spilled over the counter and crushed into the linoleum floor. There’s a dark-skinned woman in a black & white plaid rockabilly dress and red cardigan who’s struggling to empty a bag of ice into a second cooler.
“Here—let me help, Shonda,” says Kara as Elsie leads you to the full cooler.
Shonda looks up. “Yeah, could you? Dunno where my asshole roommates are.”
By the time the two of them have the contents of the bag in the cooler—the cubes sliding in with a rough whoosh and plinking softly over the beers in the bottom—you and Elsie have fresh beers that she’s poured into solo cups.
“Thanks, Kar.” Shonda wipes her hands on the bottom of her dress, makes a face, then fumbles for a dingy kitchen towel hanging over the fridge door handle.
“Shonda,” says Elsie, catching the woman’s attention. She pushes you forward a bit. “This is Mary’s new squeeze.”
“Oh, um, hi.” You stick out your hand.
“No shit.” Shonda gives you a once over before giving your hand one firm shake. She nods a few times. “Yeah, ok. I see it.” She pats you on the arm. “Good luck with that.” She turns to Elsie. “Is that little shit here? We need to have words.”
Elsie jerks her thumb over her shoulder. “We left him down the hall.”
“He can run but he can’t hide,” Shonda says as she stomps away in impressively high red heels.
“Do I need to go defend his honor?”
Kara snorts.
“Nah,” says Elsie, waving your question away. “She’ll probably just make him do the heavy lifting the other stooges wheedled their ways out of.”
“He is stronger than those skinny arms make him look,” you muse.
Kara leans in. “Oh?”
You grin at her.
The two of them lead you into what must be a dinning room that seems to be the official set up for the snacks and libations. A bar with liquor and mixers have been arranged in the built-in, and there’s a folding table in the corner with an array of chips, snack foods, and a pile of wilted-looking pizza boxes. There’s a center table—which looks more permanent—that some sort of drinking game is occurring over.
You make a beeline for the pizza.
“I think I need a good base.”
As you juggle the pizza slices on a plate on the top of your cup, Kara and Elsie talk rapid fire across you, sometimes asking you questions (about you, about Mary, about you and Mary), other times going into long-winded stories about people you’ve never met, but are hilarious nonetheless.
“Fuck. I’m not drunk enough for this party yet,” Kara laments.
“Well, yeah,” says Elsie. “I thought we’d get our game on.” She pokes you in the belly, and you suck your stomach in away from her touch. “You done ‘getting your base’ yet?”
“Yeah, I’m good.” You dump the paper plate and crusts into a trash bag slumped in the corner.
About the time Elsie is squeezing you three into the game at the table, Mary wanders in. His face brightens when he sees you, and he makes his way over to you, wrapping his arms around you from behind.
“There you are, baby doll.”
“I thought I told you ‘girls only,’ Goore,” says Elsie.
He jabs a finger at her. “I gave you more than enough time to monopolize my girlfriend, Ford.”
“Just keep your dick in check.”
“I do what I want.”
For the next half hour, you engage in a rousing game of flip cup, which you have always been terrible at, but Mary seems to dominate. By the end, Kara and Elsie are hitting their buzz—playfully shoving themselves and others—and you’re beginning to feel more at ease in this sea of unfamiliar people.
Ed and Trevor wander in and motion to Mary, but seem to address the whole crowd.
“Yo!” says Ed. “Wanna go upstairs?” He stimulates smoking a joint at Mary.
“Yeah, man!” Mary turns to you. “You wanna join?”
You shake your head. “Can’t. I get tested.”
“Laaaame,” says Kara, and you jump because you didn’t realize how close she’d gotten.
“You sure it’s ok?” Mary scrunches his face.
“Yeah, Mare. Go! Be free!”
“Don’t worry, Mare,” says Elsie coyly as she drapes an arm around you. “We’ll take good care of Suey.”
Mary looks horrified enough that you think he might change his mind, but then Ed and Trevor are pulling him away. Elsie looks down at you.
“What did you do to that boy?”
You squint up at her. “What do you mean?”
Kara insinuates her way in between you and hands you both disposable shot cups.
“She means you’ve got him pussy whipped.”
You scrunch your face further. “Mary? He’s like a stray cat that shows up sometimes for food.”
“Is the ‘food’ ‘sex’?” Kara jumps her eyebrows at you.
Laughingly, you shove at her. “Maybe.”
Elsie throws her hands up. “PUSSY. WHIPPED.” She downs her shot.
You and Kara follow suit.
“Ok, but seriously,” you half cough as you wipe a dribble off your chin. “Mary does what he wants. I don’t tell him what to do.”
“Aww, hon—we know,” says Kara. “Elsie is just giving you a hard time.”
Elsie shrugs. “I’m a Class A Bitch.”
“She is,” agrees Kara. She turns her cup upside down; a few droplets drip out. “Hey, bitch—go get us more suds!”
“Demanding,” grips Elsie, but she turns to make her way into the kitchen.
You and Kara wander over to the food table to graze, the howls from the newest drinking game dolcet background noise.
“Hey, I know Elsie tends to make people butthurt, but she just has no filter.”
“Oh. No, it’s fine.” You shrug. “People tend to think I’m an elitist snob, so I try to be, um, more open minded.”
Kara grins at you. “‘Splains why you’re dating Mary.”
You throw a withered carrot stick at her. “Don’t fucking call me out like that.”
Kara laughs as she tries to block the attack. The conversation seems to stall after that, so you try and dredge up a question.
“So you guys know Mary from high school or something? Mary was … vague.”
“Just Elsie. That’s why she’s a little protective. He’s seen some shit.”
“Yeah, I know,” you say quietly. You turn to look at Kara. “Did they ever …?”
Kara waves her hand at you dismissively, swaying slightly. “Shit, we’ve all fucked around with each other at some point or other.”
Your eyes bug out. “You and Mary?”
She snorts, and leans toward you at a dangerous angle. “Well I never slept with Mary. But I’ve been with Elsie and Dee, and Mary with her and Trevor, and Trevor and Dee had a thing with Ed.” She screws up her face. “I think I got that right. I can never keep it straight, honestly.” Kara shakes her head out; then her expression changes and she bites her lip. “Shit. Maybe I shouldn’t’ve told you all that.”
You pop a Jax in your mouth. “Mums the word, sister”
As she’s giving you a sloppy, grateful smile, Elsie finally appears—tottering carefully—with three solo cups precariously balanced between her hands and tits.
“Shit—come get your drinks.”
You and Kara scramble to relieve Elsie of her haul without dropping the prizes as the drinking game breaks with an Awwwwwww.
“You guys wanna with another round?” Elsie throws her thumb over her shoulder as she sips from her cup.
“Fuck yeah, you know it!” exclaims Kara as she throws her hands up, beer spilling over the side.
After doing OK in a few rounds of Finger Spoof (you’re feeling the buzz nicely), you look around and realize you haven’t seen Mary in a while. You leave Kara and Elsie to their own devices and head into the kitchen. Grabbing your own solo cup in your teeth—ignoring it as some of its contents sloshes over the side and down your chin—you fish for a lite beer floating in the lukewarm cooler water for Mary.
If you can locate him.
He’s not in any of the rooms downstairs, nor is he outside with smoker’s club. You make your way up to the second floor, hoping he’ll be easy to find up there. There’s a door that’s locked and another where there’s a group hanging out on the bed and each other as Kpop loudly plays.
You find Mary in an open bedroom full of haze. He’s softly strumming an acoustic guitar—his fingers fumbling slightly on the unfamiliar strings as he tunes his way up the frets. He’s propped up in a corner, legs crossed under him, as the others in the room pass a joint around.
Picking your way carefully through the crowd, you make your way over to Mary. People shift and sway out of the way and scoot over when you smush yourself in next to him.
“Hey.”
“Hey.” You lean your head onto his shoulder, and Mary passes off the guitar to someone else. “Where’re Ed, Edd, and Eddy?”
He snorts.
“Went in search of snackies.”
He looks down at the beers resting in the small slick of condensation on the floor and licks his lips.
“One of those for me?”
“Yeah,” you say as you hand him the room-temperature bottle, which he takes up and chugs half of in one go. Watching his adam’s apple bobbing, you lean in to lick his neck. Mary jerks, then coughs, half spraying the beer out his mouth and nose. A few people squeal in surprise as you cackle, and Mary glares at you, wiping at his mouth and nose with the sleeve of his shirt that he’s curled over his hand.
“Fuck. You’re a pain in my ass.”
He drapes his arm around your shoulder, the bottle in his hand resting on your arm. The person who has the guitar now is strumming up a familiar song, and soon everyone is singing along (screaming or shrieking off key in some cases). Under the guise of getting his drink close to his mouth, Mary subtly maneuvers you into his lap—his other hand sneaking up under your shirt hem to rest on the curve of your belly with the tips of his fingers brushing just under one cup of your bra. You’re too loose from the drinking game to really care, so you lean back into his chest, warbling along to the tune as well.
You’re swaying, drink in hand, as you screech along to another song, when suddenly you become very aware of Mary’s erection pressing into your ass.
You turn your head. “Seriously?”
He rumbles into your ear. “Whaddya want? You’re squirming on my lap.”
Giggling, you purposely grind back on him, and he grabs your hips.
“Fuck, baby doll—keep that up and I’m gonna make a mess.”
You lean your head back on his shoulder as you circle your hips.
“You love making a mess, Mare Bear.”
He leans down to bite at your neck.
“I love making a mess on you. Not in my pants.”
“So stop me.”
Mary’s arm comes around your waist, effectively pulling you flush against him.
“FucK.”
More people wander in as the songs turn from nostalgic familiars to those of the drinking variety, and they raise solo cups and bottles in joyful celebration.
Everyone is sloppy; some sway to the rhythm of the songs, others drunkenly half mosh, spilling their drinks everywhere. You grinding your ass back into Mary—and him twitching up into you—is hardly a blip on anybody’s radar. His head thunks down onto the slope of your shoulder, his hips wanting to rut faster than subtlety or your own movements allow.
People are stomping, clapping, and spraying beer on each other as they half mutter words to drinking songs they realize they only half know.
Mary is a mess, trembling as he presses into you and mewling softly with each pass. Conversely, you’re having a grand ole time: rocking your hips as you sway and sing along to whatever the person in possession of the guitar is currently playing. Ignoring your own wetness and the growing throb in between your legs, you try to give him the pressure he needs.
You can feel his chest heaving into your back and the sweat from his forehead on your skin when it’s clear he’s getting close. His limbs shake as his arms squeeze you tighter, his movements almost stilling to nothing—and then he blows out a held breath like a drumbeat, his crotch pressing into you in pulses as he bites down into the juncture of your neck. Gasping, you spill a good amount of your drink as you jerk forward—Mary still rutting shallowly into you.
A few people cheer at your party foul—which hopefully takes any attention off Mary, who is clearly no longer hiding the fact that he’s cumming hard in his pants. He finally slumps behind you, his arms loosening and sprawling open.
“Shit,” he says.
You lean back. “Mmm … good?” you purr.
His hands sneak back under your top to sink into your flesh, and he leans up enough to whisper into your ear.
“You’re a fucking menace.”
“You could’ve stopped me.”
He growls. “You know what you touching my dick does to me.”
“Was I, though? Touching your dick?”
Mary rubs his face into your neck as his hands squeeze your chub.
“Close enough.”
“Get a room, Goore!” screams someone before some of the group toss a couple of empty solos your way.
Mary looks up and grins.
“Maybe I fucking will.” He starts to stand up, bringing you with him—probably to hide the wet patch on his jeans. “See you losers later.”
There’s a general chorus of hoots and whistles, but mostly the crowd goes back to their drinking songs.
“Are we really getting a room?” you ask—arousal curling—as Mary directs you around the second floor, hands on your hips to keep you in front of him.
“A bathroom, yeah.”
There’s a slight wait—one Mary fills with his roving hands and lips—before the woman ahead of you stumbles out, wiping her wet hands ineffectually on her party dress.
Mary ushers you in, locking the door behind you. The two of you look down to inspect the damage. It’s actually not terrible. You can hardly tell at all on his jeans, and Mary undoes them so he can half shuck them down. His boxer briefs are a completely different story; they’re visibly soaked through at the top, and when he peels away the waistband, he reveals a sticky, slimy mess coating his stomach and flaccid cock.
“Shit. This may be a lost cause,” he says as he inspects the inside of the fabric.
“TP?”
“Yeah, unless you wanna lick it off …” Mary looks up at you with a smirk. “Which would be kinda hot, actually.”
“Sorry,” you say as you roll toilet paper around your hand, “but I like my jizz how I like my coffee: hot and fresh from the source.”
He runs a finger through the mess and then wiggles it at you. “It’s still kinda warm!”
You wrap your mouth around it because it’s the last thing he expects you to do.
“Uh …”
He’s momentarily rendered speechless as he watches you suck his finger clean and then smack your lips as if appraising.
“Nah. None of that reheated crap either.”
He blinks down at you. “Should I be horrified that I’m rubbing off on you?”
You give him a smile with your tongue half sticking out as you rub the wadded up toilet paper across his belly.
“I’m pretty sure I was just rubbing you off, Mare.”
Mary’s hands come up and sink into your hair. “Shut up.” He pulls you into a deep kiss. “Fuck. Love it when you tease me,” he says as he pulls away.
“I know.” You beam up at him and continue trying to clean him up.
He looks down at himself. “Fuck it.” He goes to toe off his boots, realizes that he’s wearing his “dress boots”—the less-scuffed ones that lace up to his knees—and snarls in frustration.
When he goes for the medicine cabinet, you step out of the way and toss the slimed wad of paper into the toilet. Making an Ah-ha! noise, Mary turns to you and snaps a pair of hair scissors triumphantly.
“Do the honors, will ya?”
“Wait—you want me to … cut your boxers off?”
“I’m sure as fuck not taking these boots off or spending the rest of the night marinating in my own jizz.”
You snort at him. “Whatever you want, Mare Bear.” You shuffle forward and hop up onto the sink. It only teeters a little.
“Hey! Hurry the fuck up in there!” comes a male voice through the door accompanied by banging.
“Fuck off, I’m taking a dump!” barks Mary.
“Dude,” says the voice, but the banging stops.
Mary shifts forward into the V of your spread legs as he hands you the scissors. He keeps his face close to yours. “Try not to cut off anything important,” he breathes at you.
“Of course—you’re no good to me clipped.”
His eyes meet yours, then travel down to his crotch. Carefully (willing your eyes to focus), you start from the top down, snipping the fabric—bunching it up with each shear—until you reach the end of the leg up to the crotch, Mary only flinching slightly (“Careful with the goods, woman!” “Fucking hold still!”). Once each side is cut, Mary and you work together to pull each half free.
As you ball up the front half to toss into the trash basket, Mary uses the back half to wipe up the lingering stickiness coating his cock and stomach.
“Better?” you ask when he’s finished and zipping his jeans back up, the other half of his boxers joining its twin in the trash.
He wiggles a bit. “Eh, it’ll do.” You expect him to back off, but instead he crowds closer. “What about you, baby doll? Maybe I should check on you.”
Before you have a chance to respond, Mary is shoving up the layers of your skirt and pressing his hand into your damp tights. You gasp at the sensation.
“Hmm,” he rumbles, “seems like you could use some clean up yourself.”
And then he’s maneuvering his head in between your spread legs, trying to position your knees over his shoulders. You let out an Oh, as your hands fly down to brace yourself on the edges of the sink; Mary growls in frustration as he tries to first pull down your tights, then to rip them apart to no avail. Before you can stop him, he’s picked up the shears and has snipped a slit in your crotch.
“Mary!” you yelp, but he just dives back down, tongue wiggling through the rip in the fabric to trace your seam before delving into your folds to flick at your clit. At the burst of sweetness, you moan, and your head thunks back into the mirror.
Head swimming, you lose yourself in the feel of his tongue as it swirls around your nub and then presses into it a few times before he’s sucking it in between his plush lips. He repeats this process, sometimes running his tongue down to your entrance and then back up, and at others holding the tip directly on your clit until you start squirming in frustration … only to then flick repeatedly back and forth.
A finger enters you, and you cry out, “Oh fuck,” as you tighten around it. Mary starts to slowly ease it in and out of you as his tongue continues its massage of your hardening clit. You’re really squirming now, rocking into his mouth and down onto his finger—making sure you light up every sweet spot. You feel like a guitar string wound too tight, ready to snap, and your pussy pulsates in warning.
Mary sets his tongue speed to 11, and you feel the tidal wave of your orgasm start rushing toward you. You let out a squeak as your one hand sinks into Mary’s hair right before your climax breaks, and you start bucking into his mouth. Like a good boy, he manages to follow the lead of your hips until your pussy stops popping and your body relaxes—your butt slipping down into the bowl of the sink.
After catching your breath, you look down to find Mary’s twinkling eyes staring up at you from beneath the layers of your skirt. You pet down the side of his head with an Mmm, and his eyes close as he leans into the touch.
“I think you only made me stickier, Mare.”
His head tilts to rest on your one leg.
“Not my fault you get wet as fuck. There’s only so much I can lap up at once.”
You shift up into a sitting position as Mary wipes his face—and the lower part of his makeup—onto your tights.
“Shit. Are the tights a lost cause too?”
“Stand up?”
You hop off the sink, and Mary inspects your backside. He gives it a slap before saying, “Nah, I think you’re good. Just a little damp.”
You crinkle your nose. “Well, I feel slimy. Turn around so I can take care of business.”
Mary peers into the mirror to even out his smudgy face before slurping some tap water from the faucet as you get your situation into a tolerable state.
When the two of you exit the bathroom—Mary’s arm draped back around your shoulders—there are two guys lounging on the bottom of the stairs leading up to the 3rd floor. They look up at the sound of the bathroom door opening, and one scrunches his face at you.
“Dude. I thought you were taking a shit.”
He holds up a blackened Yankee candle.
Mary shrugs at him. “We don’t kink shame here.”
The guy’s companion bursts out laughing even as you elbow Mary in the ribs. He just laughs as he says, “C’mon let’s get some suds.”
The two of you make your way back down to the kitchen where Shonda The Beer Færie has replenished the coolers again. Mary shotguns a can—foam spritzing everywhere—as you search for the elusive opener. Unable to locate it, you try—and fail—to pop the top off on the counter.
“Gimme,” says Mary—belching—grabbing for your bottle. After fishing for another bottle in the ice, he aligns the caps and pops them both with the other.
“My hero,” you say in an affected tone as you bat your curled eyelashes at him.
“That’s fucking right.” He makes an arm in an attempt to bulge his bicep.
You test it with your hand. “Nah. Too small, throw it back.”
Pouting at you, he says, “You’re the worst, and we’re in a fight.”
You shrug as you take a swig of beer. “Eh. I got what I wanted.”
Mary makes a grab for the bottle, but you twist out of his reach and bolt out of the kitchen. He doesn’t catch you before you seek sanctuary in the living room. All the furniture has been pushed against walls, the rug rolled and resting in a corner, and more bodies than there should be are packed into the center as a party mix thumps from the speakers.
You wiggle your way into the crowd and run into Kara and Elsie, who shout Hooray! and pull you into their bump and grind. The 3 of you raise your drinks into the air to avoid spilling on each other as you rock and sway, alternating who gets sandwiched.
Suddenly, Mary is at your elbow.
“Hey! Gimme back my girlfriend!”
“Sorry, Goore,” says Elsie. “Finders keepers.”
For a minute he looks genuinely put out, but then he just smirks. “Whatever, I’ll just enjoy the view.”
“Pig,” Kara spits.
Mary shrugs and starts to do a god-awful wiggle that you think is supposed to be dancing. He has the rhythm—and his ass jiggle is pretty nice—but that’s about all he’s got going for him in the moves department.
The mix must be trying to appeal to all types, but ends up being a spastic mix with no eye for continuity. Nineties Girl Pop transitions into Metal, which transitions into Country, then into Alternative, then to 80′s Power Ballad, then R&B, then Punk.
After screaming along to “Toxic”, Elsie leans in. “Fuck, I’m about to pass out. I need to get some air.”
“Want me to come with you?” asks Kara.
“Up to you, dear.”
They look at you.
“I should throw Mary a bone.”
Kara smirks at you. “Kinky.”
Elsie rolls her eyes at her friend. “C’mon you bitch ass.”
Seeing his opportunity, Mary gives a head nod as he seamlessly switches places with them. He pulls your back into him as his hands come round to rest on your hips.
“Good thing you emptied my dick earlier, or we’d have a problem,” he murmurs into your ear.
“Don’t be gross.”
“K.”
You and Mary grind or shimmy or jump depending on what the song calls for, your beer long drunk by now. At some point someone opens a window, and the chill, near-January air curls in—its icy but brisk tendrils working their way through the crowd. You shiver a little as the sweat on your skin tingles and cools at its touch, and Mary pulls you in tighter.
Meatloaf comes on—🎶 On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses? 🎶—and Mary snuffles his face into the crook of your neck, you tilting your head to the side to give him access.
🎶 Will he offer me his teeth? 🎶
He worries at you with his teeth.
🎶 Will he offer me his hunger? 🎶
His blunt teeth sink into you, and you let out a pleased rumble.
🎶 And will he starve without me? 🎶
“Yes,” he whispers into your ear right along with Jim Steinman.
You roll your eyes even though Mary can’t see you do it, but you let him spin you out—jostling the other revelers—and back into him (stumbling) as the drum beat drops. He tries to twirl you, but the crowd has packed back in around you, and all you accomplish is tripping over his boots.
🎶 …I was dying just to ask for a taste 🎶 he mouths at you.
“You’re fucking ridiculous,” you say.
He leans in and nips at your lips, but you turn your head to whisper in his ear.
“I gave you a taste earlier, mister.”
“Mmm, but I’m greedy.”
You let him mouth at your neck as the two of you sway back and forth, Mary’s hands dipping lower and lower.
A sudden commotion is like a record scratch, and everyone turns to the front hall. Mary’s bandmates come into sight—caterwauling with 12 packs of shitty beer held aloft—encouraging the cheers of the other partygoers.
One spots Mary and points his finger at him.
“Goore! Goore! Goore!”
The other band members pick up the chant.
“Goore! Goore! Goore!”
The crowd takes up what has become a war cry:
“Goore! GOORE! G O O R E !”
Mary points back, then puts his hand up in supplication at you as he backs his way out of the room.
“You’re a goddamned tease!” you cry after him.
He shrugs before spinning on his heel to be assimilated in the group, the chant turning into whoops and hollers as they make their way into the kitchen.
Mary had warned you that the band usually did an unplugged set, and you surmise they must need to set up.
Without Mary or the girls, the dance room has lost its appeal, so you meander around the first floor. The drinking games have devolved into “Never Have I Ever,” and while the pizza is gone, a homemade-looking mac and cheese dish in a tinfoil baking pan has appeared.
You pile some onto a paper plate (whose structural integrity you seriously question) and are content to watch the proceedings until a girl in the circles demands you squeeze in with a slurred “None of this wallflower shit!”. They shove a solo cup into your hand, which is then promptly filled with whiskey from a Jack bottle.
For the next hour or so, the guests on either side of you—Lila and Marty—become the best friends you never knew you had while you all hoot and catcall each other to the escalating scenarios. The bromance comes to a swift end, sadly, when Dee appears in the doorframe, sees you, and points dramatically.
“It is time for the festivities!” he yells in deep baritone.
“I’m being summoned!” you yell, and there’s a chorus of boos as you wobbly make your way over.
“Come, yon neophyte, and join us at the gathering spot.”
“Lay on, McDee!”
Dee leads you out into the backyard, which is done up with myriad bulb lights. Mary winks at you as you pass him on the porch—picking your way around the hodgepodge of instruments—before you join Ed, Trevor, Kara, and Elsie at one side of a well-used iron fire pit on the grass. The girls are passing a flask back and forth as they snuggle you in between them.
It should be fucking freezing out, but with the alcohol, the body heat, and the fire, you actually feel quite cozy. There’s a buzz of voices as the band arranges and tunes the borrowed instruments. You think you can see human shapes on back decks in other lots, but it’s hard to tell through the glare of the lights.
The band members take their places, there’s a countdown, and then Mary and the guys jumpstart into their first crowd favorite. While there are some general cheers at favored sections, the intimacy of the party and the lack of mics or speakers make it a quieter affair than their venue shows. You and the girls sway back and forth in your triplet, and even the guys are fist pumping and mouthing along. They play two more of their own songs before doing a few classic 80′s punk covers that really get everyone hyped.
It’s not perfect—none of them are sober, they’re unaccustomed to the instruments, and the cold air isn’t helping dexterity. At one point the lead singer forgets the words and just la la las his way through the verse, which in turn sends some of the other members into a musical stutter. Not everyone is invested in the whole set—some people went back inside after the first few tunes, and others see the band as just background to their conversations. Those who are fully invested have gravitated closer to the porch—but your group of Mary’s bffls are content to hang out by the fire pit where a few people have started roasting marshmallows.
After an … interesting … mashup of “Rudie Can’t Fail and “Classics of Love” that sounds like a physical representation of a key smash, the band closes ranks, and there’s some whispered conversation and emphatic gesturing.
“Ok!” says Donnie, the lead singer. “We’re gonna switch things up. Usually on backing vocals, Goore is going to take lead for our last song.” There are some boos that probably have more to do with the set ending than Mary singing, but also some whistles that are probably for Mary. “Yeah, yeah, I know. But it’s a party for us too!”
“Huh,” says Elsie.
“What?” you say into her armpit.
“Mary hates lead.”
You know. He’s mentioned ad nauseam.
Mary steps forward and takes position up front. When he brushes his forelock out of the way, he looks up briefly and catches eyes with you. You give him thumbs up. A grin breaks out on his face, and he winks at you. Slowly, he strums chords until he finds what he’s looking for, and you can tell he’s humming along quietly—it’s a familiar sight now to you, but you wonder how much of this crowd has seen Mary chart out a song.
Finding the key he’s looking for, Mary clears his throat. His voice isn’t rich in timbre, but he rasps out with feeling, and his pitch is near perfect.
🎶 So I hear you been wondering I've been wondering too Just what this crazy world has in store for me and you 🎶
You’re surprised at his choice, and you feel your face burn. Mary’s eyes flick up to you—glinting boyishly—and you stick your tongue out at him. He slows the song way down as he sings, changing the frenetic energy of the original into a soulful ballad to which he can growl along.
🎶 You scratching to find a way A tortured soul back from the grave O Baby Doll back to kill them all Now please won’t you stay 🎶
Mary pauses, looking full up at you before taking in a deep breath. A few heads turn to see who he’s looking at. You scrunch your face at him to convey your mortification, but he just shakes his head at you—he’s not going to stop.
🎶 Baby Doll whoa Baby Doll I need you I love you Baby Doll whoa Baby Doll O Please come back to me 🎶
You suddenly feel naked under the interested gazes of the curious onlookers as Mary continues on. He’s mostly singing at the guitar, but his few pointed glances at you make it clear who he’s singing to.
🎶 The tortures of your soul The rotting flesh pain never dulls O Baby Doll you will kill them all Now please come to me 🎶
You try to sink back into Elsie and Kara, who just push you forward again.
“Dude,” Elsie breaths at you.
“This is awesome,” says Kara.
“I’m going to fucking kill him,” you mutter through your plastered on smile.
Some of the amassed crowd—which suddenly seems to have multiplied—start clapping to the slowed beat, and it causes a ripple of well-timed claps as well as those who can’t keep a rhythm.
Strumming in deliberate strokes, Mary looks up to hold your eyes once more.
🎶 I see you standing there In the shadows and in the rain A lifeless beauty Nothing could ever ease you of all your pain But Baby Doll the revenge you seek I dunno It will never be sweet But you'll never give it up Now come to me Come on 🎶
You shake your head as Mary continues to repeat the chorus into a soft fade. There’s a moment of silence after he’s finished, and he points out at you.
“Give it up for my very own baby doll!”
Applause breaks out and you give him double Fs.
Mary sets down the guitar carefully as Donnie steps forward again.
“All right! That’s it, motherfuckers! We’re about an hour away from the New Year, so grab a drink and sign up for our mailing list if you haven’t already!”
The crowd is whooping and whistling. A few people crowd up on the porch, as do Trevor, Ed, & Dee. Mary shakes hands, shoulder bumps, and backslaps his bandmates and some of the crowd, but his eyes are on you.
“I’d fuck him,” says Kara with a smirk.
Elsie groans. “Please don’t fuck in front of us. At least find a broom closet.”
You turn to her and give her a wolfish smile. “Who says we haven’t already christened it?”
Elsie buries her face in her hands as Kara tipsily attempts to fist bump you and ends up smushing your tit.
“Whoops! My bad!”
“Bitch, we’re cutting you off.”
“No, you’re not. Who would you do shots with?”
“Suey’s more than capable.”
You make a “who me?” face.
“Mebbe, but I think her mouth is spoken for.”
You’re about to respond, but arms suddenly encircle you, a mouth presses to your neck, and you squawk.
“If you’re not Mary Goore, you better watch your nuts!”
“I’m me, and I have to watch my nuts, anyway.”
You squirm around so that you’re facing him.
“Forget your nuts, I’m going to fucking kill you.”
“Aaaand on that note!” says Elsie, and she and Kara pat Mary’s arm before heading inside.
He looks down at you with hooded eyes.
“Whatever. You’re pleased. You fucking love that song.”
“Oh? Am I?”
“Yeah.”
“And what makes you say that?”
“I still have my nuts.”
You narrow your eyes at him, then point your finger in his face.
“You’re on thin ice, mister.”
“Mmm, I can think of a few ways you can take it out of my ass later.”
Your stomach flips, and you press into him, grabbing his jaw.
“Damn right I will.”
Mary bites his lip as you wiggle your hand in between the two of you to palm at his crotch. He closes his eyes and sways a little
and that’s when you step away from him.
“C’mon—my cup is empty. I need a refresh.”
Mary’s eyes pop open, and he whines while making an exaggerated puppy-dog face.
You snap your fingers at him. “That’s for earlier.”
There are still enough people mingling outside that it takes a while for the two of you to actually make it back inside—some are Mary’s friendly acquaintances he wants to say hi to and others are fans he can’t help but chat up.
“We’re going to be on Instagram again, aren’t we?” you say when you finally start your trek inside, his arm lazily resting around your shoulders.
His head turns to face you, and he gives you an impish smile.
“Tell me if I give a shit.”
You quirk your eyebrow at him. “You might give a shit later.”
His smile turns vulpine. “Promise?”
Your hand slips into his back pocket and squeezes.
It’s actually pretty close to the ball drop by this point, so you and Mary grab up two of the bargain plastic champagne glasses you find lined up in rows on the kitchen counter. When the cheap champagne starts being passed around like you’re all in a pirate shanty, you hold out the glasses (Mary’s already lost the base to his) for a fill.
There’s no way everyone is going to fit in the living room; the majority of the attendees are spilling out into the hall, up the stairwell, and out onto the porch, with you and Mary are squished in by the stairs—but the volume for Rocking New Year’s Eve is turned up so loud the speakers are fuzzing, and a few people are streaming it on the phones.
“T-Minus one minute!” someone screams, and a cheer goes up.
“Oh shit!” you exclaim and start digging around in your bra.
“What?” asks Mary as his eyes flick down to your tits.
You retrieve two silver dollars, warmed by your skin, and press one into Mary’s free hand.
“What’s this?” He holds the coin up at eye level.
“Silver dollar. If you hold onto one as the year turns over, it’s supposed to bring good fortune.”
He looks at you skeptically as he turns it this way and that. “Does it work?”
You shrug. “Can’t hurt. My grandma swore by it.”
“THIRTY SECONDS!”
“Where d’you even get these?”
You grin.
“Amazon.”
Shouts come from the living room: “10 … 9 … 8 …”
Mary turns to face you, and the two of you take up the chant.
“7 … 6 … 5…”
He crowds a little closer, the fist holding the coin draped over your shoulder with yours resting on his hip.
“4 … 3 … 2 …”
You don’t get out the “1” because Mary smashes his mouth to yours—just a hard press of lips to lips—then he’s pulling away to press his glass to your mouth. As you try to sip out of it, you fumble your own glass to his mouth. The two of you only succeed in spilling half the contents all over each other before conceding defeat.
There’s some shrieking a moment before everyone in the hall gets sprayed with foamy champagne. Since there really isn’t any room to escape, Mary and you try your best to duck and cover, laughing as the droplets come raining down. The beach ball from earlier comes out of nowhere, and you punch it back into the air, the plastic of it slick from the champagne shower.
Everyone is still screaming, separated friends are trying to find each other amidst the revelry, and some dude on the stairs is shouting Tennyson over an off-key rendition of “Auld Lang Syne”.
“Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky!” 🎶 Should old acquaintance be forgot, 🎶
Elsie and Kara are jumping up and down from where they are in the living room, pointing, and starting to make their way to you.
“The flying cloud, the frosty light!” 🎶 and never brought to mind? 🎶
The beach ball beans you in the face, and Mary takes it and lobs it onto the porch where it hits the back of Donnie’s head, causing the rest of them to cackle and holler back.
“The year is dying in the night!” 🎶 Should old acquaintance be forgot, 🎶
Like magic, Mary procures a half-full bottle of bubbly from the train of people maneuvering in the hall and takes a big swig before passing it to you. You chug the rest, coughing as the lukewarm bubbles fizz up your nose.
“Ring out, wild bells, and let him die!” 🎶 and auld lang syne? 🎶
Laughing, Mary wipes at your face with his sleeve, and you realize he’s still got the silver dollar clutched tight in his hand.

Buying Guide of GOLF DRIVERS
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT DRIVERS Your motive force sets the tone for the rest of your recreation. A fairway splitting first shot places you in role to attain nicely, however a mis-hit off the tee can depart your recreation lacking and your confidence wavering. So deciding on the right motive force is essential. But earlier than you start your seek, it’s excellent to understand precise components of a driving force so you gained’t be overwhelmed and can make an knowledgeable decision.
LOFT Loft is the amount that the face of the club slopes back. Driver loft, which generally tiers from eight.Five° to fifteen°, should suit your swing velocity. The slower your swing speed the extra loft you need to have. If your average swing speed is between eighty and ninety mph (the common for maximum male golfers) you have to be the use of a driver with approximately 10.Five° to twelve° of loft. For recreational golfers, this, blended with new -piece balls that spin at a lower fee, means your launch attitude and spin price can be optimized.
LENGTH No trendy length exists for a motive force. Every manufacturer offers unique fashions with various lengths (generally 43.Five” to 47”) however drivers continue to get regularly longer, with some even achieving forty eight” (the maximum allowable). That’s due to the fact in most instances, the longer the shaft the faster the pinnacle will tour. However, if it’s hit off-middle, it may honestly lower distance. Also, the longer the shaft the more difficult it is to govern and hit the ball squarely. So the great component to do is choose the longest driving force viable that you can nevertheless hit constantly and as it should be. Remember, you’re not driving for show; you’re driving to place your self in function to attain.
MATERIALS & SIZE You’ll find that drivers may be product of stainless-steel, an alloy or solid titanium. For someone who hits the route or using range best now and again, a excessive high-quality alloy motive force can be observed at a reasonable fee. A titanium motive force, or multi-cloth driver like titanium and composite, that combines light weight and remarkable electricity is more luxurious and for golfers who play more consistently. Stainless metallic drivers will lend more weight for your swing, providing you with greater control on the descent. The most common size for drivers is 460cc (cubic centimeters), the maximum allowable. This length increases the instant of inertia (MOI) , providing golfers extra forgiveness on off-middle hits, that's some other way of announcing it has a bigger sweet spot.
FIVE QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF Now that you realize the fundamentals, it’s time to find the right driver for you, but TGW.Com has such a lot of to select from, you might wonder in which to start. The following five questions can fast and correctly narrow your options.
1. DO YOU WANT A DRIVER THAT IS ADJUSTABLE? Using simplest a wrench, golfers at the moment are capable of adjust the face angle, loft and lie angle without the help in their nearby membership more healthy—or having to shop for a new club altogether. Golfers can alter the club dynamics to in shape their favored ball flight or select up a few additional yards of deliver. Many producers insist an adjustable driving force offers you each gain. However, others disagree, bringing up a extra steeply-priced rate tag, extra weighting in much less than perfect locations, and confusion approximately all the distinct setting combos as motives to play a conventional, non-adjustable driver.
2. DO YOU WANT A DRIVER WITH AN ANTI-SLICE OPTION? Most golfers slice the ball, in particular off the tee. Manufacturers have addressed this problem inside the past by introducing anti-slice, or draw versions in their general drivers, however with adjustable drivers now a lot part of the golfing landscape, and the truth that you could near the face as a lot as three° on a number of these adjustable drivers to correct your slice, draw drivers aren’t being manufactured on the equal rate. However, for those who are constantly fighting a slice, we stock many drivers which could therapy this sickness.
3. DO YOU WANT A STANDARD OR TOUR PREFERRED DRIVER? You may additionally run throughout “tour” drivers on our web site, however those golf equipment are designed for execs or amateurs with superb ball-placing potential who can correctly form their photographs the usage of golf equipment that are set useless square (or barely open or closed), and are ready with shafts that help preserve the ball lower. The average golfer can be higher served the usage of general drivers with larger sweetspots for greater forgiveness, extra closed faces (to combat slices) and shafts that help get the ball airborne. The idea of gambling a tour club might be attractive, but until you’re an splendid golfer, the outcomes won’t be.
4. DO YOU WANT A CUSTOM-FIT DRIVER? Many golfers think they’re now not properly enough to get custom-suit clubs, that the issues of their swing will override any capability benefits of golf equipment built only for them, however fitters say the cause many players hit it sideways is because they haven’t been custom-healthy. Trying to swing golfing clubs whose period, weight, lie attitude, shaft flex or grip size don’t in shape the body encourages gamers to make unnatural compensations that prevent them from growing right mechanics. Choosing this form of driving force will price you a little more money and time, but it guarantees you’ll get a superbly-suit driver.
5. HOW MUCH DO I WANT TO SPEND? Your finances performs a component in dictating the membership you select. The maximum high-priced membership may additionally or won't be the right one for you. Very few golfers can fill their baggage completely with premium golf equipment. The aim ought to be finding clubs that sense the first-rate and permit you to carry out at the very best level. Remember,
SHAFTS Drivers are ready with graphite shafts normally provided in exceptional flexes. For the general public of golfers, the shaft covered with the driver will work simply excellent. Weight is what you’ll want to be aware of. You don’t need a shaft that’s too heavy. As some distance as flex, in case your drives convey between 230-250 yards, a ordinary flex is high-quality to your recreation. If your drives carry any extra or any less than that yardage range, you’ll want to adjust your flex to stiff or senior/ladies, respectively. For a deeper dive into the arena of golf club shafts,
HOW TO BUY ONLINE Once you understand all the elements that go into picking a motive force and have replied the five questions above, buying a driver online at Nifty Golf is easy. You can choose a model you like and review the loft, shaft, and flex options available. Many drivers can also be custom ordered Customers can pick a custom shaft and grip, in addition to duration match to them. “The Only Way To Have A Consistent Golf Game!”
—–Original Message—– From: Jerry Cook [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 15 January 2009 09:32 To: Andy Anderson Subject: Hello
Howdy Andy…
I have been using the New Four Magic Moves off and on for the past 6 months with varied results, but that is my own fault as I also find myself slipping back into other ways of approaching the golf swing which has led to body and mind confusion.
When I consistently stick to the First Magic Move, my bad swings at least result in straight shots and that is not too bad as this is far better results than lots of the other approaches to swings that create pulls, pushes slices and hooks as well as lots of topped and fat shots.
I have been playing golf again after a 30+ year absence from the wonderful but often frustrating game. When I played before I was in my 20’s and 30’s and my golf swing was my own as I had neither taken lessons nor done much reading about the science and art of a gold swing. Gee, I wish I had known of the New Four Magic Moves back then.
In summary, after playing around with at least 6 other approaches to the golf swing, I am now more convinced than ever that the New Four Magic Moves is about the only way to have a consistent golf game. I will now go to the practice tee and work on these moves hoping they will become so automatic that I can then only have to concentrate on set up and alignment on the course which should allow for more wonderful times and less frustration while playing.
At 63 years of age, my intention is to shoot my age on or before reaching the age of 66. When using basically the New Four Magic Moves, I have shot a low of 69 which is not too bad for someone who has only been playing for 9 months, eh.. I firmly believe that the New Four Magic Moves will help me shoot some great rounds in the future.
Be well Andy and thanks for all the added information that you share with us duffers through your website and emails.

“I Wish Golf Had Been Taught To Me In This Simple Manner Several Years Ago. It Would Have Taken Out A Great Deal Of Frustration!”
—–Original Message—– From: David Walker [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 9 April 2007 18:01 To: Andy Anderson Subject: Testimonial
Dear Andy,
I must admit that I was a bit skeptical of the 4 magic moves. I teach Biology in the US and always need proof or evidence. I downloaded the free first four chapters and tried things out for myself. I had the opportunity to try things out this weekend and my results are amazing. I was hitting my 7 iron 200 yds without effort and my driver close to 300 yds. Most impressive was the direction of the ball, it is travelling STRAIGHT. I wish golf had been taught to me in this simple manner several years ago. It would have taken out a great deal of frustration.

“23 Handicapper Drops 5 Strokes To An 18 In Just A Couple Of Weeks!”
—–Original Message—– From: Al Lott [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 21 December 2006 16:04 To: Andy Anderson Subject: Re: 121-4 & CD
Andy,
Thanks for the CD’s format. Love the audio, listen to it over and over again and every time another bell rings. It has allowed me to go through The New Four Magic Moves a second and third time now and with every review, out comes (what I will call) a new pointer.
Wish I had gotten this info 20 years ago. I can’t believe how easy your instructions are to follow.
Bottom line is you have now got me from a 23 handicapper to an 18 in a couple of weeks. So much so, that my playing partners want to know how much my lessons are costing me.
This brings me to a question, Do you offer gift certificates? Although it’s a little late for Xmas gifts
Thank You

If you’re searching for a simple, fast way to slash up to 12 strokes from your game, add 35 yards to your drives, eliminate hooks and slices and improve your putting and short game this is the most important letter you’ll ever read…
Here’s why …
Until very recently I was your basic “hacker”. I had a love/hate relationship with golf some days I’d be driving like a pro, maybe even flirting occasionally with par
while the next afternoon my game would absolutely go all to hell. I swear I’ve stood at the edge of the lake, holding my bag overhead, one emotional hair-trigger away from tossing the whole mess and never stepping up to another ball the rest of my life.
Doesn’t it drive you nuts? I had no consistency to my game at all, even after 29 years of playing regularly. No way to tell what each round would bring. And it wasn’t for lack of trying, either I’d easily dropped more cash than I dare think about having “pro’s” tell me what a horrible slice I had, and if only I would start twisting my body like this on the upswing
Let’s face it, mastering the finer techniques of golf is tough!
There’s no doubt, it’s probably the most difficult lesson for any golfer to learn. Frankly, the perfect golf swing is the only subject you can’t fake…
Of course, some people will tell you they can do just fine without properly understanding the golf swing. WRONG! Just take a look at their own golf results. Their scores speak for themselves!
I can HONESTLY say that almost everyone I see on the golf course and range is “dead wrong” when it comes to practicing their golf swing.
In fact, this may completely shock you, but I guarantee you the way you’re practicing right now is definitely…
“Cheating You Out Of 90% Of The Success You Should Be Getting!”
Not only that, you may be wasting hours of your time and energy each week at the driving range because of improper swing techniques robbing you of the improvements you could be making.
… Just by making a few small changes to your swing, you will radically transform the way you play golf.
It’s true. I have recevied over 865 testimonials in 3 years from golfers like you who have gone on to cut their handicap.
And you can too, using these four little-known swing techniques you can also take your current game and “twist” it to reach your full playing potential.
So if you’re frustrated with wasting your time on the range, not satisfied with the scores you’re making, keep

I’ll prove to you why you can trust me to show you how to achieve astonishing results in your golf game.
“Why Should You Listen To Me? What Is So Special About Me?”
My name is Andy Anderson.
I’m a company director living in Fife, Scotland – just 15 minutes from the Home of Golf at St Andrews. Previous to setting up my own company in 2002 I worked exclusively in the golf industry for nine years. During this time I worked for Tiger Wood’s management company IMG in London and the European Tour based at Wentworth in Surrey, England.
Online, I’ve had the pleasure of helping just over 13,270 people worldwide realise their dreams of significantly cutting their handicap.
I created this web site to ensure you don’t waste all your years on the range like I once did. One thing is for sure, I don’t want to see another golfer fall for all the so called expert advice out there. You need to know the truth about what it really takes to propel your game further than ever before.
Agreed? After all isn’t it right you focus all your efforts on chopping strokes off your handicap, rather than being left in the dark about how to change your swing?
That way, you don’t continue to waste hours on the range for little or even worse no result.
In short I’ve discovered what it really takes to transform anyone’s golf swing – by this, I mean real people like you and me. They have names and faces. They all have success stories to tell, it is thrilling to see …
What’s more, I’m a normal person and certainly not the perfect height for golf at six foot five. Like you… I haven’t got the athletic build of Tiger Woods or the dedication to put in many hours of practice like Vijay Singh!
And that’s not all, I wasn’t lucky enough to be born with natural sporting ability. I never won any junior golf events throughout my teens and I was convinced I would never be able to improve. In conclusion – I’m your average guy.
Here’s My Story …
Just a few short years ago I moved to the Home of Golf, that’s me above on the Swilken Bridge on The Old Course at St Andrews.
Probably just like yourself – I was continually looking for a way in which I could change my game forever. I guess I was like a sheep following the rest of the flock. I can’t tell you the number of times I burnt a hole in my pocket convinced I had found the next “all singing – all dancing” golf improvement course. I bought all the magazines and DVDs, and everytime I would fall for the latest golf trainer product – you should see my garage!
Ultimately it was complete frustration, I was going around in circles. Each time I would spend money I hadn’t got, then waste countless hours on the range and see no improvement at all. In fact sometimes my scores would get even worst!
However many golf lessons I had, however many golf DVDs I watched, however many golf magazines I read, however many times I practiced – I never seemed to get better.
The result? Huge disappointment.
I kept asking myself …
“Why Can’t I Excel At This Game I’m So Passionate About?”
Then just when I was ready to throw my clubs in the sea and say goodbye to the game forever, I had a light bulb moment. It occurred to me I had to change my thinking – in essence get smart. And as a result I learned the most important lesson in my life, quite simply it was this …
If you keep doing the same things, youll keep getting the same results. If you want a different result then do something differently.
It struck me that I could achieve anything I wanted by learning how to do it and that included becoming a much better golfer.
“How I Discovered The Secret That Cut My Handicap And Over 944 Other Golfers!.”
So, off I went in search of information and advice to help me significantly improve my golf swing.
I was on a mission to discover why some people found it incredibly easy to lower their handicaps whilst the vast majority struggled.
I searched online, offline, in ALL of the local book stores and was about to give up and think of ways to sell my clubs on eBay when by chance I stepped inside a second hand book store in St Andrews – right next to the Old Course – 15 minutes from where I live.
And that’s when it happend……
After another hour or so of what I assumed to be a fruitless search something caught my eye …… and within minutes I was completely engrossed in an incredible book that I knew instantly was the answer I was looking for!
I’d stumbled across a book that showed a unique and simple way to play golf.
At a time when I was so confused about the golf swing ….
“… I Had Finally Found The Answer !”
In a nutshell …
There’s an ugly little myth shared by most amateur golfers that is causing you to absorb up to a dozen unnecessary strokes, each and every round.
Here is how this ugly little myth works,
1. You watch a favorite professional golfer perform his “patented” swing, paying close attention to every detail.
2. You then duplicate every detail into your own swing, from memory, hoping to acheive the same result the pro does.
3. You then have one of the worst rounds of your life.
Hey, I’ve been a sucker for trying to “steal” pro’s secrets all my life. I’ll watch a tournament on television, paying close attention to Tiger or Phil or Ernie, catch a little something they do in their swing, and then go out and try to copy it. And I’ll bet YOU’VE done the same thing… because, simply, EVERY golfer does it at some time or another.
The problem is, you can’t “figure out” what the pro is actually doing just from watching, because so much of the swing is “inside“. You may think you see Tiger uncock his wrist on the downswing… heck, CBS or Sky Sports may do a slow-motion repeat for you, pointing the uncocking out… but unless you understand WHY he’s uncocking at that particular moment in the swing, you’ll NEVER figure out how to incorporate such an action into your own swing.
That’s because Tiger has made a CHOICE. All the great golfers have. More specifically, there are exactly FOUR points in your swing where you also must make a critical CHOICE… and everything that happens in your swing will be affected by these four choices.
It’s like deciding which roads to take on your commute to work tomorrow. It may seem like a simple choice at first, but everything that happens to you after that choice queues, long delays, speed cameras, road works will be directly related!
The reason professional golfers are making fabulous incomes playing golf and you’re still trying to drop your handicap to single digits is because the pros have made good choices at each of these four vital points in their swing… and you still don’t know there are choices to be made.
… the bad swing is caused by a failure in execution at four critical points. Furthermore, golfers make the same mistakes at the same points, and this is true whether you test this principle with two golfers or two thousand.
Their mistakes can be broken down into the same basic wrong movements, occurring at the same critical places in the swing. This is one of the few definite, invariable patterns to be found in the bad golf swing.
These are called the Four Fatal Flaws.
Most poor or mediocre players manage to incorporate all four into one swing. Others have fewer, and score better. I learned that these Four Fatal Flaws had to be replaced with the right actions, namely the Four Magic Moves!
“H A L L E L U J A H – I Suddenly Realised …!”
… With the four right moves instead of the four wrong ones my swing would be better, my mistakes fewer, and my scores lower.
And this is exactly what happened ..
” … My Handicap Plummeted In Less Than Four Months!”
And it just gets better and better! My “slice” completely disappeared
and I became absolutely fearless on the links, going after every shot as if I had magical powers.
But it’s not magic at all! You see, what I learned from this book had almost nothing to do with me
and everything to do with the amazing new swing developed by one of America’s best-known teaching professionals Joe Dante (former president of the New Jersey Professional Golfers’ Association) over 40 years ago. Known as the professional who spill the beans on the secrets other pros don’t want amateurs to ever find out about (subscribe to my newsletter to find out the 25 golf fallacies golf pros tried to keep hidden for so long). Joe played with and beat many of the best golfers in the game, and spent a lifetime learning the science behind the pro game. When he decided to reveal his advanced secrets, smart golfers paid real close attention.
” … I Devoured Every Single Page … … As Fast As I Could … … I Felt Like I had Been Hit By A Lightning Bolt! …”
My golf improved so much that friends started to ask me how I had managed to completely transform my swing!
In fact , I knew sooner or later I would have to start lending my book out!
This is one thing I didn’t want to do – I knew they wouldn’t return it!
Golfers I hardly knew at my club came up to me and demanded to know how I had reduced my handicap so dramatically – seemingly overnight …
Friends would buy me a beer so as I would spend some time helping them with their swings.
So, it got me thinking…
“Why Not Make The Secrets Available To EVERYONE?”
As the saying goes…
“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
That saying kind of stuck with me, because I felt the book would save me time and allow me to focus on my own game.
So, I took the plunge!
“… And Rewrote The New Four Magic Moves To Winning Golf …”
I decided to create a unique new improved version that shows the individual golfer from beginner to pro how to improve their golf swing themselves …

“Here’s What the Complete Course Contains… ”
The video, ebook and audio course consists of a 11 chapters, 56 pictures and over 5 hours of audio. Here’s what this jam-packed golf instruction course includes …
Chapter 1. – What You Can Do. Why don’t more people play better golf than they do? The blunt truth is that they don’t because the golf swing is heavily overlaid with a sludge of fallacy, misunderstanding, faulty theory, myth, and just plain ignorance. So thick is this coating that it is a wonder anyone ever gets through it and down to the hard, clean mechanics of the sound swing. It is this sludge, most of which has been covering the swing for so long that it now acts as an insulation, that I will cut away in this course. Once the myths and fallacies are exploded and the true machinery of the swing is laid bare for all to see and understand, golf becomes a much less difficult game.
Chapter 2. – Sweeping Out the Rubbish. Discover the two dozen fallacies of golf that are most prevalent and have caused and still cause the most damage. Particularly those which must be exploded thoroughly if you are to assimilate the new thoughts, principles, and actions given to you in this course. Watch carefully. The fuse is lit!
Chapter 3. – Getting Set: The Grip and the Stance. There can be no doubt that the first mistakes a golfer can make are to hold the club with a defective grip and to stand up to the ball the wrong way. Either puts a heavy impost on a player before he makes a move to swing the club. Together they make a good shot almost impossible.
Chapter 4. – The Backswing. Now you are ready to start the swing, to uncover the first fatal flaws that appear, with the horrible shots they produce, and to learn the first of the magic moves that will cut strokes from your score. This really is where the magic begins! It is the key move and the foundation of the swing
Chapter 5. – At The Top. The position at the top of the backswing is important. If it is reached correctly it means you are halfway through the swing correctly. It means that now, at least, you are in a position to make a good downswing and hit a good shot. With most of pupils I can tell pretty well, as can any pro, whether a shot will be good or bad just from their position at the top.
Chapter 6. – Starting Down. We can have a perfect grip, start back from the ball properly, reach the top in faultless position – and then ruin it all by the next move we make. Not only can the swing be ruined by this move, it is ruined about 95 per cent of the time. In this chapter you will learn how and why the fatal flaws develop on the first move down from the top and exactly what they are. You are also reminded again of the terrible shots they cause. The reminder may be painful but the gain in knowledge will be great. With it you will be able to replace the wrong moves and faulty positions with the right ones. When you do, you will cut strokes – many of them – from your score.
Chapter 7 – Through The Ball. For the poor or average player the same magic moves apply, but he must first learn to get himself into the position the good player is in as he reaches the hitting area. There are just no two ways about it. The final stage of the full swing is completed and all its mysteries are explained
Chapter 8 – The Short Game. As we see it, the short game falls, into four categories: the short pitch from thirty yards down, the green-side trap shot, the chip from the fringe, and the putt. The technique for this short pitch is the same, fundamentally, as for the full shot, except that it is in a modified form.
Chapter 9 – In And Out Of Trouble. On a golf course, as a rule, trouble comes at us swiftly and unexpectedly. There are times when we do not quite expect to carry a brook or a cross trap, or when we know we can easily miss a green with a wood or a long iron. Then we are not surprised when we find ourselves in difficulties. But much more often we stand on a tee, with a wide fairway beckoning, swing – and find ourselves in the woods or heavy rough – isn’t it time for a change!
Chapter 10 – The Early Break and the Late HitSecrets of Timing and Rhythm. The answer to the effort-distance puzzle is timing, but just what is timing? For one thing, it is a word that has been used more loosely, perhaps, than any other in golf literature. We have been blandly told that we should work to improve our timing, that our timing is off, that without good timing we cannot hope to play well. But what exactly is it? Today you will learn the secrets of timing and rhythm. We expose the truth at long last. Decide for yourself whether you want to be left in the dark any longer!
Chapter 11 – Thinking Your Way Around. So far, everything in this book and audio course has dealt with the physical actions of golf, the positions and movements of your hands, your feet, your body, your arms, and of the club itself. There is another side of golf, though, that is all too frequently overlooked in our sometimes frantic efforts to master the swing. This is the mental or thinking side of the game. Happily, this is not nearly so difficult to master as the rest, as you will find in this chapter

The relief of cracking the ball and seeing it flying straighter and further is great !!! It has given me so much more confidence. “But How Much Are YOU Willing to Pay to Potentially Turn Into A Low Single Figure Handicap Player?”
Some people buy countless manuals, videos and DVDs that literally cost thousands of dollars, pounds and euros! Other people hire the services of a professional that cost almost the same in the end.
(Remember, a golf professional can charge at least $45 a hour for their services!)
What price tag would YOU put on something with the opportunity to show you the steps to start playing like a professional golfer?
“Okay – So What’s The Cost For This Incredible Resource?”
Frankly, I thought long and hard about delivering this exclusive information only as part of a high-priced seminar where I charge at least $399.59 per person. But instead of going to all the trouble of arranging for a teaching room and golf range and taking time out of my schedule – I settled on an online video, digital ebook and audio course format as a perfect and convenient way to deliver this information (for you and me).
What does this mean for you?
Well I have no inventory and no fulfillment costs. I don’t have to set up a call centre to take telephone orders, so I can pass my cost savings along to YOU!
Don’t worry about downloading, everything is a snap and it works for both PC and MAC users plus you still get all the bonuses listed below.
So remember …
… If you’re truly serious about the possibility of learning how to develop the ability to hit amazing consistent golf shots, your entire investment is…
… Only $77, $57 $39.95
At $39.95, I’m sure you’ll agree this is an incredible bargain.
But since we just launched this course, you can get it right now at $37.05 off
I’m willing to give you $249.85 of my products (see all the bonuses below) in this marketing test for just $39.95 because I’m in this business for the long haul …
I truly value you as a long term client and I know you’ll be thrilled with the value in this $249.85 package that you’ll come back to me and buy from me time and time again, year after year.
I’d hate you to miss out …
Think about it for a moment. If you consider the fact that you would spend more than this amount on one golf lesson, then this tiny investment of only $39.95 is more than fair.
I have been told that this price is way too cheap!
In fact, I might be raising the price very soon. (I’m thinking of testing price points as high as $77 once my introductory launch is over.) So I urge you to get your hands on this course before it’s late… I’d hate to see you miss out!
I’m also giving YOU tons of bonuses including tips and advice!
There you have it – you couldn’t ask for a better deal.
And if all of that wasn’t enough, here’s something else…
” … Here’s The Deal I’ve Cooked Up For You …”
I want to treat you like I wish I would be treated when I try something new. That’s why, I’m going to give you the chance to “rip me off”, if you so choose, without a hint of bad feeling.
It works like this. I’m charging $39.95 for this course
and because I have to process the money through an accounting system, you need to pay when you order. BUT
we’re just sort of “holding” your money in escrow, so to speak. Because, once you receive your course, you have the next two months to use it
master the secrets
and try them out in your game to your heart’s content.
Only then — when the two months are up, and you are either absolutely convinced (and happy) or absolutely disappointed – am I asking you to decide if what you learned is worth your $39.95 or not. If what you saw revealed in the course didn’t allow you to go out to the range for an hour, and then start smacking drives 35 yards further, with all the consistency and accuracy and power I’ve promised you here
then simply tell me, and I’ll rush your money back to you. No hassles, no nonsense at all, no questions to answer. Just boom — you tell me, and I send your money back to you.
Thus, if you choose, you will have seen and heard the four magic moves
for FREE. In fact
since we aren’t going to ask you any questions
if you choose , you can tell me you want a refund even if you ARE hitting further, more accurately, and with more power. It’s up to you. I’ll go broke, of course and friends say I’m being too generous, and that I will get ripped off. But I choose to believe that if I honestly deliver on MY promises (and I do), guys like you will happily pay the $39.95
and even be eager to see what else we have to share later on.
So. I suppose this is an experiment. I’ve done the work
all you have to do is order the course and see for yourself what it’s all about. Simply click on the link below. This transaction is100% totally secure. So order now and have it rushed to you NOW…

Exclusive! As a super added bonus to “The New Four Magic Moves To Winning Golf”, I’m including a FREE copy of my ebook, “How To Easily Cut 3 Shots By Knowing The Rules”
This Let me spell it out to you – if you don’t know the rules there is no way you can benefit from them.
Don’t make the same costly mistakes I have made, you now have the opportunity to lower your score without even hitting a ball!
Here is an example of what I mean:
Rule 13-4: If a player has hit the ball from within a bunker but his ball remains in the bunker, he is allowed to rake the sand; however, he should not touch the sand with his club. Should a ball be hit out-of-bounds from within a bunker, the ball must be dropped nearest the point of the last shot within the bunker. Here again, the sand can be raked before the drop, but the club should not touch the sand.
Benefit: Although the club cannot touch the sand, the raking of sand before the drop is taken can eliminate obstruction and provide an easier sand shot.
Each rule is discussed in a way that will provide an understanding of the rule and how that understanding can be used to your advantage. On the course, the level of a golfer’s confidence directly impacts his or her performance. If there were nothing else to be gained, the confidence that comes from knowing the rules would be an immediate benefit. As you will see, however, there is much to be gained.

These techniques come from the peak performance trainings of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). They can be used not only on the golf course to slash strokes, but in almost any area of your life to great benefit.
The first one is called Anchoring, and it will allow you to instantly move into your peak performance mindset.
The second one is called the Swish Pattern, and I’ll show you how to use it to become completely confident on the golf course, regardless of the situation.
And finally, the Brain Scramble (sounds dangerous, but it’s not) is a quick and easy way to let go of bad experiences from past rounds.
“Quickly and Easily Diffuse Negative Emotions After a Poor Shot and Get Back in the Zone”
Granted, these tricks and techniques are a bit “outside of the tee box”. However, the results that golfers from around the globe have achieved using these methods are just as uncommon. Grab Stephen’s special report FREE to when you order “The New Four Magic Moves To Winning Golf”.

Golf Balls - The Expert Guide
Golf Balls - How a small, spherical, dimpled sphere has the energy to modify your sport. In brand new recreation, golfing balls have end up excessive-tech extraordinary-spheres that claim to do the whole thing but hit themselves! One famous golf ball claims 'long distance and awesome sense', another 'longer distance, more spin and manage' and a 3rd 'ultimate distance and manipulate'. Confused? Might as nicely pick out a golf ball based totally at the color of the container!
But wait! Playing the right golf ball for your game WILL decorate your overall performance and overall entertainment of the game. It's just a remember of cutting thru the spin to locate that ball.
To help you for your quest for the suitable golf ball, we'll take you on a journey from the humble beginnings of the golf ball thru to trendy technologically advanced balls.
The Early Days In preferred, the larger the bag the heavier it'll be - no matter assist from long lasting light-weight materials. Although the lightest designs now weigh in under 3lb, unique lumbar and/or hip padding is available for consolation and can make a actual distinction
In the earliest days of golfing, a few 500 years ago, gamer used primitive system to play the game in a rather haphazard and informal manner. The golf ball has passed through many upgrades and enhancements all through its long life, with numerous distinct ranges:
Wooden - Used from the mid 15th century, the primary golf balls were crafted from hardwoods such as beech. Often used in conjunction with timber clubs, a round of golfing would had been a mainly jarring experience.
Featherier - In 1618 the Featherier golf ball turned into invented and changed into used for nearly 250 years. These balls have been made by using stuffing moist goose feathers into a hand stitched wet leather ball. As it dried the leather reduced in size and the feathers elevated creating a difficult and compact ball. This time ingesting process ensured the price became out of attain of the masses, frequently promoting for more than the charge of a club.
Guttier - Rev Dr Robert Adams Paterson created the primary golfing balls crafted from Outta-perch in 1848. The ball become constituted of the dried sap of the tropical sarsaparilla tree, which become heated up and shaped into ball shapes. The stepped forward overall performance and cheaper prices of the Guttier contributed substantially to the growth of the game.
Hand Hammered Guttier - It became additionally discovered that improperly smoothed balls regularly had a truer flight than the smoother variations, and the Hand Hammered Guttier Ball, with an even sample hammered on via hand, became born. By 1890, golf balls had been shaped in iron molds, and the Bramble design, with raised round bumps resembling a raspberry, have become the maximum famous ball of the Guttier generation.
Rubber - The advent of the rubber ball modified the face of golf as we realize it. Invented by way of Co burn Haskell in 1898 it featured a stable rubber middle wrapped in rubber thread. Early Outta-perch covers soon gave manner to the Atalanta cover that was delivered in the early 1900s. Although they gave the look of Putties, the common golfer could benefit a further 20 yards off the tee. So the guttier gave manner to the aerodynamically superior dimple sample, first used in 1908 and still being used today.
Today's Golf Balls - Wonders of Multi-Layer Construction In latest years, the wound golf ball has largely been replaced by means of multiplayer balls, ensuing in a bewildering selection of golfing balls. To simplify, contemporary golfing balls may be damaged down into 3 primary categories.
Two Piece. This is a hard, durable golf ball commonly with a huge, stable internal core and a tough Surly cover, usually designed to maximize distance through a high release perspective and low ranges of spin
Our Recommendation. Two-piece golf balls are what every novice must play. With less spin you are much less likely to hook or slice the ball. At the same time you're possibly to hit the ball similarly. The fee of two-piece balls tends to be less, that means that they won't take a massive chunk from your price range after they end up in the lake or the rough!
Multi-Layer. Typically product of three or four layers wherein the core is wrapped in one or layers, the multi layer golf ball is typically favored via Tour players for the extra manage it gives.
Three-piece. These have a massive synthetic middle, a skinny mantel and a cover. Sometimes, tungsten weights are used inside the middle of the synthetic center for optimized weight centering.
Four-piece. These multi-layer golf balls have a smaller internal center, surrounded by an outer center, just like the 3-piece ball. This is then surrounded by means of a skinny mantel and a cowl. Multi-layer balls are normally extra luxurious, and desirable to the greater skilled golfer. They generally tend to have plenty higher manipulate and experience across the inexperienced, offer more spin, however don't tour as some distance and are less forgiving on hooks and slices.
Our Recommendation. Multi-layer golfing balls are exceptional for the higher participant who can recognize the blessings of greater spin control over and above distance.
Wound. Much much less not unusual in contemporary game, wound golfing balls have a relevant center that has been wrapped in rubber thread and then normally protected in Atalanta cowl. These balls tend to be less long lasting and regularly will no longer keep up to the common player's spherical. They provide brilliant feel and have exceptional spin, even though, stopping quicker on the green - however the trade-off is a lack in distance. Also, their performance is affected by the temperature, with their distance and ordinary overall performance deteriorating in temperatures below 20°C.
Very few human beings nevertheless use the wound Atalanta ball, and it's miles probable to be replaced altogether through the multi-layer ball. However, some specialists still like the splendid experience and spin manage required for finesse pictures around the green.
Our Recommendation. This ball is simplest genuinely suitable for the satisfactory of the very satisfactory golfers.
Play to your strengths Today's golfing balls use state-of-the-art construction strategies that have an immediate effect on one-of-a-kind factors of the sport, which include using distance, method manage, placing roll, stability and cost. You ought to pick your ball in step with which one suits the most essential component of your game - what you want maximum help with. Here's our summary:
If you need distance (Ideal for mid to high handicappers) Too an awful lot spin will make the ball fly too excessive, and too little will lessen convey. If you need distance and forgiveness cross for a hard ball. The blended firmness of the quilt and center allow the ball to journey longer distances and be very durable, but be aware it might not stop as well on the inexperienced.
If you need spin (Ideal for better players) A spin ball is constructed with a cover that generates greater spin whilst struck with a lofted membership. This ball is better desirable to play draw and fade photographs round limitations and could prevent properly on the green. However, it'll also be less complicated to slice or hook pictures.
If you are searching out remaining manage - distance and spin blended (Ideal for extremely extreme players) A control golfing ball has the traits of a distance ball with the capability to forestall speedy on the inexperienced, with allegedly much less risk of hooking or reducing the golfing ball than a pure spin ball.
Other considerations
Slow Swingers. For golfers with a slower swing velocity, it's miles advisable to use a golfing ball that is designed to maximize the riding distance for the slower club head speed. Ideal for ladies, seniors and less powerful players
Putting Perfection. Different makes and models of golfing ball will roll unique distances on the putting green, with more difficult balls tending to roll in addition. Bear in thoughts greater highly-priced balls are probably to roll truer as nicely, because of higher balancing.
Play on your finances. It is better to play always with a golfing ball you could have the funds for in preference to a premium ball which you cannot afford to practice with. Also gambling with damaged balls will effect for your recreation, so it's far better to play an low priced ball and update it often.
And Finally - Golf Ball Myths
More dimples bring about a higher trajectory. This isn't genuine. The most appropriate variety of dimples on a golf ball is among 350 and 450. It is the spinning action of the golf ball, together with the intensity of the dimples that determines the trajectory.
Golf balls tour in addition while they may be warm. Partly authentic, as less warm temperatures will lower a golfing ball's speed greater than heat temperatures. However it is the air temperature that has more effect at the balls distance than the temperature of the ball.

How to Make Good Golf Shots - Tips to Prevent Hitting a Slice
This article is part of a sequence of articles I had been writing that cope with making some right golf shots. This article talks about stopping a slice. As a starting golfer this is one of the maximum irritating pictures in all of golf. Hopefully after studying this newsletter you can get some exercise in and straighten out that shot.
A slice can be the roughest shot in all of golfing. Just watching that ball curve and curve and curve just kills the confidence. There are reasons why a person is hitting a slice. These reasons can pass hand in hand and may harm or maybe help the slice. These are the face angle and the swing direction.
The face angle is the very best to explain due to the fact it is the route of the clubhead because it hits the ball. This may be closed, rectangular, or open. For a right exceeded golfer, a closed face angle will result in the ball going to the left. A square face angle will go straight, and an open face attitude will shoot the ball to the right. All of these angles will put side spin at the ball as well. The most up-to-date drivers in the marketplace are made to assist limit this spin, but simplest to a positive extent. The aspect spin at the golf ball is what makes the ball pass in the air. The extra side spin, the greater it's going to curve to the left or right. A slice is a shot in which a right handed golfer will see the ball curve to the proper.
The 2d element in producing a slice is the swing path. There are 3 exceptional sorts of swing paths. You have: In to out, out to in, and rectangular to rectangular. Usually a slicer will have the out to in swing path. This method that you go over the top, every other golf term. In everyday terms, an out to in swing direction way that whilst you begin to begin your club towards the ball you push your hands and hands out. Then as your arms come down toward the ball you have to then, carry them lower back in. So your fingers go out first, then come again in. An in to out swing is the reverse. You begin with your attack to the ball along with your palms in the direction of the body, then ought to push them out while you get in the direction of the ball. Both of these sorts of swings will put aspect spin at the ball as nicely. A mixture of the 2 elements is what truly affects the ball.
If your ball starts offevolved out going to the left, then curves all of the manner to the right, you've got an out to in swing route with an open face. This maximum beginning golfers doom. You will need to exercise making a better swing direction in addition to remaining the face. If you notice your ball beginning out to the right and curving even similarly to the right, then you definitely have an in to out swing route and an open face attitude. The precise element is that you can use a couple drills to help you clear up this problem.
A drill that will help you obtain a better swing route is used with tees. Set up a golf ball and stance such as you commonly would. Then placed a golfing tee https://golfiya.com/ inside the floor a pair inches to the left of the golf ball. Make your swing and try not to hit that tee. If you do it successfully, you'll begin to paintings an in to out swing or a square to square swing. This drill will assist you get a higher swing path. It will take plenty of practice and repetition however you will begin to see the outcomes at the course.

Quick tips for straighter hits

Quick tips for straighter hits
GRIP CONTROLS FACE SLICE A weak grip leads to an open face. Unless you’re trying to hit one on purpose, this grip is a surefire way to help you slice the ball. A weak grip leaves less room for the hands to rotate, which for a chronic hooker of the ball can help lessen the chance of an extreme right-to-left ballflight. Other factors to be ready for include a shorter but higher trajectory, since the hands will release sooner. And the more open the face, the more loft you’ll add at impact.
HOOK A strong grip will help lessen a slice and help you hook the ball. A stronger grip, where the V of both hands point to the right of your shoulder, means the hands have more torque and stored energy. This engages the rotation of the hands forcefully, helping to square the clubface at impact and prevent slice-inducing spin. If you slice, try a stronger grip like this one and expect a lower, deeper ballflight. Aim accordingly to allow for a right-to-left flight and roll.
STRAIGHT Versatile and useful, a neutral grip is the way to straighter tee shots. The key here is to rest the hands in an athletic but calm position on the golf club. By emulating the position above, you’ll not only hit straighter shots, but you can also make variations in your stance and ball position should you want to hit any sort of draw or fade. Experiment with the right grip for your game and, if all else fails, hone in on a neutral grip for better results.

The importance of warming up prior to teeing it up!
10 Pro Tips for Playing the Best Golf of Your Life
IF YOU WANT TO GET A few extra yards and take a few strokes off your golf game, you’re probably tempted to splurge on a fancy new driver or revolutionary new golf ball. But the fact is, you can get even better results from proper preparation. Armed with nothing but a pro warm-up routine and a little know-how, you could add a dozen yards to your drive and take several strokes off your score card. Here’s how.
1. Warm up.
I wish two draft beers and half a cigar was a warm-up, but it is not. Full-body movements that include trunk flexing, extending and rotating are a great start. Other dynamic warm-up moves should target hip rotation in all directions. Lastly, making sure that your shoulders are prepared for all parts of your back swing and follow through will ensure a good first shot from the tee box.
2. Hydrate.
Being only 10 percent dehydrated can lead to a loss of up to 5 percent of your ability to produce power. That means that if you’re used to hitting your 9-iron 130 yards, now you’ve lost 7 yards. You like hitting that 5-iron 180? Not anymore: If you’re dehydrated, you’re now only hitting it 170. Any good golfer knows how important being on your distances can be when trying to beat the course. It’s pretty hard to know how far you will hit your clubs if you are not properly hydrated.
3. Get fueled up.
If you think hydration is important for athletic output, then you’d better understand how vital proper pre-golf nutrition is to your success, too. Golf is a marathon with bouts of some pretty explosive movements. And, it all happens over the course of a lot of walking and strategizing. If you don’t have a good base of calories and blood sugar to start with, it’s like trying to drive from Virginia to Maine on a half tank of gas.
4. Keep fueling.
It’s so easy to get lost in the competition of the game of golf. The excitement of good shots. The frustration of duffs and slices. It’s all any of us can do to keep our heads together. Now, try limiting your brain’s energy source during a round and the mental game gets a lot harder. Something as simple as some trail mix, an energy drink or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich will keep your mind sharp and your muscles purring.
5. Be strong.
This isn’t necessarily something you can do before each round of golf, but it should be in the forefront of your mind if getting better at golf is the goal. Any strength-building activity you enjoy and can do consistently will work. The important thing is knowing that strength is built in the off-season, sped up in the preseason and hopefully maintained in some manner during the season.
6. Be flexible.
You’re not going to see a lot of true flexibility gains from a few stretches before a round of golf. What you will feel is a much more prepared nervous system and improved joint mobility, which will translate to your golf game as more pure and efficient mobility. This is key for anyone trying to beat a course, break a distance mark or just get through a round without nagging aches and pains.
7. Seek coaching.
Lots of folks are good athletes or have played sports their entire lives, but things seem to change when they pick up a golf club; their athletic experience just doesn’t transfer. As a lifelong baseball athlete, I can speak to this frustration firsthand. There are few things more aggravating than having difficulty hitting that little white ball on the ground.
But put me, or any other experienced athlete, back into their familiar setting like holding a baseball bat, tennis racket or a basketball, and things feel right again. Once you get a pro to look at you swing a club and help you refine some of your technique, your game – and outlook – will improve.
8. Know good pain from bad pain.
Knowing the difference between “good” pain that’s part of progress and “bad” pain that leads to injury starts in off-season golf-strengthening programs and continues through life. Those of us who know what “good” pain is also spend less time sitting out practices or rounds of golf because we know how useful movement is for healing and furthering our own athletic progress.
9. Periodize.
This term might not be familiar to even serious golfers, but to a strength coach or a physical therapist, this is one of the most important pieces of the golf strength, injury prevention and performance puzzle. This is the term we use to describe how training programs change depending on a golfer’s current fitness level and the time of the year we’re working.
For example, how important is it for a golfer who lives in the mid-Atlantic or northeast to be the most explosive and most ready to play golf in December? Not very. So, seek golf-specific programming for all of the different phases of the year, as well as competition and play. In this way, you can get the most out of each phase and maximize your physical abilities during the golf season.
10. Rest and recover.
This shouldn’t be the first time any good golfer has heard that taking proper care of your body after some time at the range or after a round of golf is a good idea. This might, however, be the first time that you realize that it could be the single most important – and easiest – thing you can do to ensure a pain-free and rewarding golf season.

TaylorMade Breaks Boundaries With M5 & M6 Drivers, Metalwoods
TaylorMade Golf recently announced the next generation of the globally successful line of its M metalwoods, highlighted by the all-new M5 & M6 drivers, fairways and hybrids.
In 2018, TaylorMade engineers developed a new path to performance with Twist Face technology. To counteract the high-toe miss (a hook), the driver face was modified open (loft increased and face opened) on the high-toe to help straighten ball flight. Similarly, to counteract the low-heel miss (a slice) the driver face was modified closed to de-loft and close the face in the low heel area. In 2019, TaylorMade has taken Twist Face to the next level of performance with the introduction of Injected Twist Face technology, exposing the false narrative that speed limits have been reached in a metalwood. There are four key features to the design of Speed Injected Twist Face that allow TaylorMade to maximize ballspeed, working in unison to allow every M5 and M6 driver to be precision-tuned with a new, rigorous process to maximize speed to the allowable limit.
Every M5 and M6 driver head is inspected, measured, and tuned for maximum speed and to ensure conformity a process the company says is “truly unmatched in the golf industry.” Whereas current drivers have a level of variation from one to the next, TaylorMade’s new engineering and development processes effectively deliver a level of precision that ensures every golfer gets a hot and fast driver head.
The drivers have been designed with a thinner, more flexible face — in fact, initially designed above the legal limit before going through the tuning process in which resin is injected to ensure maximum speed for each head. The injection process utilizes two new tuning ports on the face of the driver (both M5 and M6 models) and a proprietary algorithm to ensure the appropriate amount of resin is used, systematically dialing in the speed for each driver face.
A significant benefit of the thinner, faster face design is that it provides the M5 and M6 drivers with faster off-center COR, effectively increasing forgiveness. The new face design is optimized with up to a 20 percent reduction in thickness that results in a 66 percent larger sweetspot in the M5 drivers over the M3 and more than 100 percent larger than the original M1 in 2015.
TaylorMade M5 Driver
M5 & M5 TOUR DRIVERS
In addition to Twist Face and Speed Injected technologies, TaylorMade has also incorporated numerous additional technologies in its new drivers including a new Inverted T-Track system that makes personalization more intuitive and simplified than ever and allows the golfer more precise CG adjustability — 1770 unique CG configurations in all, heel to toe and front to back.
It also provides a wide range of MOI options—position both weights all the way forward for the lowest CG projection to maximize speed with very low spin, push the weights all the way back into both sections of the Inverted T-Track and maximize MOI and ball speed protection on mishits. The result gives the golfer up to one degree of launch angle and 600 rpm of spin change as well as 25 yards of left-to-right adjustability. The two-degree loft sleeve allows for the adjustment of the loft, lie angle and face angle of the driver; and when combined with the Inverted T-Track, makes the M5 the company’s most customizable driver in company history.
In the M5 & M6 drivers and fairways, TaylorMade ushers in the fourth consecutive generation of its carbon composite technology. TaylorMade engineers were able to incorporate composite panels that continue to unlock performance with a more efficient mass distribution compared to a traditional metalwood construction. The use of composite crown and sole panels save weight from the traditional construction of drivers and fairways. This increased discretionary weight is used to create an optimized center of gravity to deliver a hotter trajectory with increased forgiveness.
The M5 will also be available in a smaller model – the M5 Tour. Featuring the same Speed Injected technology as the M5 driver, it utilizes a compact 435cc head with optimized aerodynamics for improved workability and maximum clubhead speed. While retaining all of the same key technologies as its larger 460cc counterpart, the M5 Tour driver is designed for the player who seeks more workability with less spin and prefers a more compact look at address.
The M5 driver is offered in 9, 10.5 and 12 degree lofts, the M5 Tour 9 and 10.5 degree lofts. Both come equipped with either a Mitsubishi CK Tensei Orange 60 and Project X’s new HZRDUS Smoke 70 shaft with numerous additional shaft options available at no additional cost. The stock grip is the MCC Decade grip from Golf Pride.
M6 & M6 D-TYPE DRIVERS
Like the M5, each M6 driver head is individually speed tested and injected with tuning resin to optimize COR across the entire face and deliver maximum ball speed and distance. The heel and toe ports in the driver face have allowed TaylorMade to maximize speed across the entire face in every driver created, delivering to each golfer a boundary-pushing fast & hot driver head.
The M6 also features Twist Face technology, which, like last year’s M3 and M4 drivers and this year’s M5, provides more loft in the high toe and less loft in the low-heel to produce more consistent spin where golfers commonly mis-hit. The face of the M6 driver is also slightly taller than the M5.
Featuring the same six-layer carbon composite crown as the M5, the M6 adds a complete carbon fiber sole, allowing for significantly more discretionary weight to be used elsewhere in the clubhead – as much as 54 percent more than its predecessor, the M4. With the weight savings, engineers were able to create a sleek, aerodynamic shape inclusive of the new “inertia generator.” The inertia generator houses the additional discretionary weight extremely low and back for maximum forgiveness while lowering the CG compared to previous models.
The M6 D-Type driver puts the same performance features into a draw-biased, easy-to-launch package. TaylorMade engineers have utilized a combination of technologies to create a significant amount of draw bias to help golfers prevent a right miss. The key feature is the optical engineering that creates a high-contrast topline masking configured to make the face angle appear more open than the actual face angle, resulting in the golfer returning a more closed face at impact. In addition, the center of gravity is moved slightly toward the heel to further aid in delivering a square clubface to the golf ball. This adds up to 20 yards more draw bias than the standard M6.
The M6 & M6 D-Type drivers are offered in 9, 10.5 and 12 degree (RH only) lofts. The M6 driver has two stock shaft options from Fujikura, the high launching Atmos Orange 5 and a lower-launching Atmos Black 6 in S-, R- and A-flexes. The M6 D-Type comes equipped with a Project X EvenFlow Max Carry 45 shaft. For women, the M6 and M6 D-Type drivers are offered in 10.5 and 12 degree lofts (RH only) and come equipped with TaylorMade’s Tuned Performance 45g L flex shaft. The stock men’s grip is the Lamkin Dual Feel grip and the stock ladies grip is the Lamkin Comfort Plus Dual Feel grip. Both drivers are available with numerous additional shaft options at no additional cost.
M5 FAIRWAY
TaylorMade M5 Fairway Metal
TaylorMade engineers have also successfully incorporated its breakthrough Twist Face technology into a fairway wood. Like the M drivers, the faces have been modified to counteract the gear effect on common mis-hits in the high-toe and low-heel. Although the concept is the same as in the driver, the exact geometry is slightly different to account for the unique mass properties and impact location patterns in fairway woods compared to drivers.
The M5 fairway also represents a complete re-engineering of TaylorMade adjustable fairways. The M5 fairway features an advanced multi-material head construction with a titanium body, five-layer carbon composite crown with a steel movable weight — a trimaterial construction. The two low-density components – carbon and titanium – led to more discretionary weight, which engineers used to completely redesign the sliding weight system for a lower CG location and increased adjustability.
The M5’s adjustable weight system features a 65g movable steel weight, which is slightly more than 30 percent of the total head weight, allowing for generous draw/fade adjustability. The position of the steel weight creates a lower center of gravity for a more efficient energy transfer with higher launch and lower spin.
The M5 fairway will be offered in Rocket 3/14 degree (RH only), 3/15 degree and 5/18 degree lofts and come equipped with a Mitsubishi CK Tensei Orange 75 (X) and 65 (S, R) with numerous additional shaft options available at no additional cost.
M6 FAIRWAY
Like the driver, the M6 fairway has Twist Face technology for an explosive, yet playable fairway from the tee or off the deck. New in ’19 is the addition of Rocket 3 a 14 degree offering for those seeking reduced spin and slightly increased ballspeed.
The Speed Pocket has been re-engineered for the M6 fairway woods to provide even more ball speed on low face impacts. A new TPU slot insert has also been designed to sit flush with the sole to improve sole interaction and eliminate turf drag from the Speed Pocket.
The M6 fairways also improve performance over the M4 by optimizing CG placement directly behind center face, producing maximum energy transfer at impact. Maintaining a very low center of gravity, the face height of the M6 fairways is also slightly taller, creating a more confidence-inspiring look at address with more available impact area on the clubface. The new larger carbon composite crown increases discretionary mass which is concentrated low in the head, lowering CG for a higher launch while maintaining high MOI for excellent forgiveness.
Also mirroring the M6 driver, the M6 D-Type fairway is engineered with the same technologies in a more draw-biased package thanks to divergent face masking and modified internal weighting that effectively delivers additional draw bias in the ball flight up to 15 yards.
The M6 fairway woods are offered in Rocket 3/14 degree, 3/15 degree, 5/18 degree, 7/21 degree and 9/24 degree lofts, equipped with Fujikura’s Atmos Orange FW shaft in S, R and A-flexes. The M6 D-Type is offered in 3/16 degree, 5/19 degree and 7/22 degree lofts and come equipped with the Project X EvenFlow Max Carry 50 shaft in 6.0 (S), 5.5 (R) and 5.0 (A) and same stock Lamkin grips.
M6 RESCUE
Rounding out the 2019 M6 series metalwoods is the M6 Rescue, TaylorMade’s longest and most versatile hybrid club to date. For the first time ever, the M6 Rescue incorporates Twist Face technology, following the lead of its fairway and driver siblings to produce longer and straighter shots across the face. As the face of the M6 Rescue is significantly smaller than that of the M6 driver, the face curvature is thus more pronounced. As a result, the two-tone crown has been meticulously designed to mask its increased curvature.
The M6 Rescue features a low CG steel body construction with a stepped crown creating a lower CG and easy alignment. It also features a thinner and faster face for improved ball speed and overall distance. A redesigned more flexible Speed Pocket with a TPU slot insert that sits flush with the sole delivers a larger COR area with better off-center performance, especially on low- face strikes and improved turf interaction.
The M6 Rescue iss offered in 3/19 degree, 4/22 degree, 5/25 degree, 6/28 degree and 7/31 degree lofts and come equipped with a Fujikura Atmos Orange HY shaft in 7 (S), 6 (R) or 5 (A). For women, the M6 Rescue will come in 4/22 degree, 5/25 degree, 6/28 degree and 7/31 degree lofts (RH only) and come equipped with TaylorMade’s Tuned Performance 45g L-flex shaft. The stock men’s grip is the Lamkin Dual Feel grip and the stock ladies grip is the Lamkin Comfort Plus Dual Feel grip.
M5 Driver $549.99, M6 Driver $499.99, M5 Fairway $349.99, M6 Fairway $299.99, M6 Hybrid $249 | www.taylormadegolf.com
