Goddess Mahagauri has four arms and rides on a bull. One right arm stays in Abhaya Mudra, whereas second one carries the Trishul and one left arm holds the Damru, the other one stays in Varada Mudra.

NAVRATRI POOJAN 2021 FOR PROSPERITY
The festival which is celebrated in honour of the divine feminine is called the festival of Navratri or Durga Puja. In the various regions of India, it is the time for reflection, inner peace and fasting. For others, it is the time of feasting and dancing.This festival of nine days is dedicated to nine Goddesses andrepresents the different aspects of the feminine principle.

 Navratri is celebrated 2 times a year. First in the 1st month of the Hindu calendar that is the Chaitra month and 2nd in the seventh month of the Hindu calendar that is the Ashwin month. The Navratri Pooja has a special place for Hindus as it is a very auspicious event for them. It is dedicated to the Goddess Durga and Her other forms. As winter begins in the Ashwin month the Puja of Navratri is also known as Sharad Navratri. This festival begins at the bright lunar fortnight that is Shukla Paksha Pratipada of the Ashwin month to celebrate various forms of Goddess Durga for nine days by setting up anplace (Mandap) at a clean and pure space in our houses.
 It is believed that praying in front of Goddess Durga on these days gives us better results in life. As children are considered the purest forms, therefore, little girls, believed to be the avatar of Goddess Durga are worshipped on Durga Ashtami and Mahanavami. According to the Hindu belief, girls who haven't had the pressure of covering themselves in proper clothes yet get dressed as Goddess Durga are invited home for offerings and Prasad which includes a meal of Puri, Kala chana, coconut and Halva to get blessings of Goddesses.
 IMPORTANT DATES FOR SHARAD NAVRATRI 2021
Navratri Puja begins on 7 October 2021, Thursday with Kalash Sthapna/ GhataSthapana.This auspicious time for this is between 6:17 a.m to 7:07 a.m. Goddess Shailputri is worshipped on the first day.
On the next day, Friday 8 October, Goddess Brahmacharini will be worshipped.
On 9th October, Saturday Goddesses Chandraghanta and Kushmanda will be worshipped.
On 10th October, Sunday Goddess Skandamata will be worshipped.
On 11th October, Monday Goddess Katyayani will be worshipped.
On 12th October, Tuesday Goddess Kaalratri will be worshipped.
On 13th October, Wednesday will be Durga Ashtami and GoddessMahagauri will be worshipped along with the worship of 'Kanyas' that is the girls.
On 14th October, the day of Maha Navami, a Hawan(a ritual burning of fire along with ghee)will take place along with the worship of Goddess Siddhidatri and Kanyas. This is the last day of Navratri Poojan.
 Many people finish their last Navratri fasting on the eighth day that is Ashtami and worship the Kanyas at the last. And some people finish their last Navratri fasting on the 9th day that is Mahanavmi by offering foodwhich includes Hindi Delicacy 'Halwa Poori' and other items to idol Durga and Child Girls.
 The Pooja for Navratri is done especially at night (RATRI in Navratri is night) which brings a lot of prosperity, wealth and harmony at our homes as it marks the triumph of good over evil. It also protects us from evil eyes and keeps us safe in the divine eyes of Goddess Durga.
