The first day of Navaratri is the day of Devi Shailaputri🙏 . The meaning of Shailputri means the daughter (putri) of the mountain (Shaila). She is differently acknowledged by the names of Sati, Bhavani, Parvati, and Hemwati. She is the absolute embodiment of the power of Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahadev. The Goddess is represented with a crescent moon on the forehead, trident in right and a lotus on the left hand. She rides on Nandi bull.

𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗼 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗿: Colour orange is devoted to the day of Shailaputri. It represents enthusiasm, success, and happiness.

Shailaputri is the daughter of the Mountain King Himavat and is a manifestation and form of the Hindu mother goddess Mahadevi, representing herself as the pure form of goddess Parvati. She is the first Navadurga venerated during the first day of Navratri and is a reincarnation of Goddess Sati. According to Hindu beliefs, Goddess Shailaputri is an incarnation of Devi Sati. In this incarnation, she was the daughter of King Daksha Prajapati who was the son of Lord Bramha. The festival of Navratri begins with the sacred ritual of Ghatastapana, which is also believed to invoke Goddess Durga. Shailaputri is depicted having a half-moon on her forehead, holding a trident in her right hand, and a lotus in her left while riding Nandi, the bull. In Navratri, recitation of Maa Shailputri Mantra gives peace of mind and keeps away all the evil from your life and makes you healthy, wealthy.
