My anxiety is on high today. I have my breast exam tomorrow and I am beyond nervous! This is my third exam and I still don’t have an answer for the lump I have found. My mammogram and ultrasound couldn’t classify what it is. So, I have put off two appointments because I thought if I ignored it, it would go away. Yeah that’s my own fault for putting off my appointments since May this year.

Here I am still nervous and without answers. Wondering what is going to be said tomorrow?Wondering if I will finally get some answers?While also wondering if I am brave enough to hear the answer, if there is one?

Has anyone else gone through this? Do you have any words of wisdom?

At church this morning I prayed harder than I have this whole week. I know that God can heal. I still have this nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I am scared. I am worried. Anxious.

I need to put on my big girl panties and be brave.

I need to pray harder for answers. I need God to be with me and the Nurse Practitioner tomorrow so that she can help guide me to answers.

I need to know.

Do not despise small beginnings. Don’t be afraid to start small, be persistent. Give God what you have to give, and watch Him work in your life. You will be amazed at what He can do with small beginnings.

WE have a BIGGER God who is all-knowing, who is gracious, who is merciful. Let us put our trust in the Sovereign God! He will meet you there.

Sometimes it's we get so mired in what's wrong that we can't see our situations as remotely temporary. However, that's not the case. Our lives on earth are the definition of temporary. God's plan is not that we suffer forever. He is always moving us forward, even if we feel like we're standing still. So remember, Hell isn't a destination. We go through Hell. We don't stay there.
