I've been having a lot of memories from my past pop into my head. They have all been from past traumas, past relationships and negative events that shaped me in some way. However, the trauma, anger and hurt aren't there any more. I've been observing then and realizing that because I've learned from the event, I finally let the trauma go. That's not to say it won't come back from time to time, but I've grown beyond it. I've let go. Like the Snow Queen, I will look into the mirror and see past events as ideas, dreams and memories. I can leave them there as I move into the future and be the Queen I have always been 👑 Card from The Literary Tarot.

my oversized imagination,

joined with my ghosts, regrets, emptiness, loneliness, brio,

aspiration to things way bigger than me,

passion and compromise in everything I do,

my unfortunate capability to absorb everyone’s energy,

also my enormous fear of change and incapability to trust people,

fear of losing things dear to me with no warning

and the terrible fear of losing my memory doo to too much stress. My biggest enemy is my mind so this war is one like no other in the world, moving this mountain, even an inch, is one step forward to vanquish this mind.

I know we’ve all been through it this year emotionally, physically and mentally. How we handle the outcome is up to us. Maybe you’re just wanting to heal from something, grow more in faith, family and/or business, give more or just don’t know where to begin. Give yourself time to slow down enough to listen and follow your heart but not so slow that you miss out on life, opportunity and growth.

1 in 500 people. That’s the statistic for a #brca diagnosis. Today is #previvorday, which falls between the end of September (#gynecologicalcancerawareness month) and October (#breastcancerawareness month). Today is a day where we can celebrate our previvorship, our choices of screening or surgeries, of us getting ahead of whatever future diagnosis our genes have in store for us. My #brca1 mutation puts me at risk for #breastcancer, #ovariancancer, #skincancer, #pancreaticcancer, etc. I’m so grateful that my mom thought ahead when she was facing her own #metastaticbreastcancer battle and #brca1 diagnosis. I’m thankful that I was tested because I have met so many beautiful #breasties ranging from #previvor to #thrivers that have become the most important relationships in my life. I felt alone for 9 years until I found @the_breasties and a community full of love and support.
