Tumblr media
Today was the first day of school; we officially started.
I had 2 lectures.
The first one was about operating systems, and we talked about all that happens when you turn on your computer and then turn it off, which was so interesting. The teacher was amazing; honestly, I really liked him. I'll study later today and make a post about it on @codingquill.
The second one was just a little introduction: the professor, again, seemed so cool and well-educated. In this class, we're going to study JAVA JEE for creating web applications. He already gave us an assignment to make the little snake game to check our JAVA skills.
Normally, this evening we would have 2 labs for these exact same classes, but the teachers decided not to do them because we just started.
How was I feeling today?
I honestly did not feel good leaving home. I've been having a depressive episode lately, and once I got to school, I saw my friends, laughed with them, had a nice time, liked the lectures I had, and felt SO MUCH better coming back home.
Which gave the conclusion that uni is actually a place that makes me really happy, and I am so excited for this year to be a good one.
Things I am grateful for?
My good health,
my intelligent mind,
my not giving up mindset,
my friends,
the privilege to study in this field, and the school I am in.

♡ Taking Myself There ♡
The past few days had me wanting to gain overview over my life; specifically to look at where I am, where I desire to be, who I desire to become, all of it!
In short, for a moment I had lost track of what I wanted to do in life. I quit University 3.5 semesters in because I didn’t belive it could get me there the why I wanted & it was overall just the wrong time in my life. I lost friends, making me doubt everything even further. Covid hit, and life just sunk into more chaos. I left many people, including the person I was. With most of my family cut off, being homeless for months & staying places I wasn’t welcomed or felt entirely safe in — I’ve managed to turn my life around in such a short time. Physically, emotionally and mentally I am now ready again to fully commit to myself & the goals I’ve had since I could remember
I’ve managed to move into a place that feels like home.
I’ve managed to pass an exam I’ve been battling for 3 years.
I’ve made new friends, and met Incredible people
And most importantly, I’ve become the person I needed all those years ago. But she’s here now and now I feel ready to jump in with both feet.
My Goals have always fluctuated as I’ve never been a very ‘one goal’ orientated person. I’ve been a full time artist, worked in the receptionist world, retail & sales advisor. But all of those always felt like they lacked something or were more so a means to gain the financial stability that was needed for me to to what I truly wanted to do
I’ve never been one that desired working, but when the work didn’t feel like work I was all on board! This goes for all things astrology, tarot readings, drawing & painting whatever I felt like creating. And most importantly, writing.
I have two main goals in this life
♡ Becoming A Publish Author
Ever since I could remember, I loved reading. I loved hearing stories and telling them! I’ve always been a very imaginative person, very creative, and I’m always told I’m great with words — and I believe it. I have tales I wish to share, tales I know will inspire more then I already have & tales to inspire myself to keep going. Nothing brings me mroe joy then when I am typing away, lost in my little worlds.
♡ Becoming Financially Secure
I do not need bilions but I know I’ll make more money then I’ll ever need. It’ll be enough money to never worry about unexpected expenses or those around me struggling. I’ll have more then enough to leave my future generations with financial security. I have known luxury, and I’ll know it again.
So now what? It’s simple really, I just need to do what I’ve always done — persist, and go after what I know is already mine. It’ll take determination, discipline, persistency, but also it’ll take for me to rest when rest needs to be had. Asking for help when help is needed.
Soon I’ll graduate and become a certified massage therapist — a job I already know is very fulfilling, and despite the physical and emotional taxation, it’s something I see myself doing while I write my stories & get closer to financial stability.
The idea of doing all of this brings me such internal peace and warmth.
The rest of the year will be a time of…
♡ Saving, living within my means and reminding myself that this is a sacrifice for a better tomorrow
♡ Making writing my all, just how it used to be. The stories are in my mind already, and many are created weekly, but focus and determination will get me there
♡ Knowing when to rest, because my sleep, sanity or overall health should not be compromised for something that can be resumed tomorrow.
♡ Continue to be my own peace, saying no more and focusing on this endeavor
I’ll be Enjoy the journey. It’ll take a while, and I know because I’ve inspired others to write. Friends, and my cousins have written and published their work (some are still not there but aren’t giving up) and seeing how long it took them, but their determination got them there, is inspirational. I planted a seed and now they all have trees and I’m so proud. Now it’s my turn to plant my seeds and watch them grow. I’m ready!
And I start today —
All updates will be made under #ThinkpinkJourney if you would like to follow along my journey to success

Learning Hebrew, like any language, requires setting realistic goals and breaking them down into manageable tasks.
Start with achievable milestones, such as mastering the alphabet, basic greetings, or common phrases.
Celebrate each accomplishment, whether it's correctly pronouncing a word or understanding a new concept. By acknowledging your progress, you'll stay motivated and engaged in your learning journey.
Remember, every step forward, no matter how small, brings you closer to fluency.
Comment “WRITE” or “SPEAK” to get started with my help.

Learnings
You learn something new every day. As long as you stop and observe rather than just rushing through life.
But most importantly, the ability to get to know YOU in every single aspect is the key to a lot of positive things. For example:
Avoiding situations you’re not going to be comfortable in
Knowing when it’s time to leave, even if in the beginning you were doing well in that situation/place/job/party/relationship
Recognizing what’s really important to you from irrelevant stuff
Emotional regulation
Anticipating situations or circumstances and have a plan for it
Find enjoyment and fulfillment from doing what you love (like, for real)
Stop judging yourself and being so hard on you. It’s just not worth it. Self-kindness is non-negotiable on your quest for a serene life.
Let’s use an example: you’ve had an awful week, plenty of bad news. On top of it, you had extra expenses because, let’s say, it’s your brother-in-law birthday and the group decided to gift him a trip to Maldives in High Season. And of course you are in the group and cannot say no.
And maybe just before this shitstorm, you were planning to go and workout every day in the gym, because in 2 weeks you’re going to Ibiza and you feel like you’ve been eating too many Cheetos after dinner (guess what? you’re stressed and that’s how you cope with it). But no way your Cheetos belly can make its appearance on the Ibiza beach, so “yes! this is my week to burn this down”.
And then the first bad news comes in. And then another one, and then the WhatsApp Group notifications and the Maldives. And the money.. “oh, man really?” you think. You even tried to speak up and make the group reconsider, but no, nobody listens. Long story short, you miss the gym a couple of times, or even 3 or 4. And it’s Friday already.
You look at yourself in the mirror and the Cheetos belly is staring back at you. So, at this point you have 2 main alternatives:
1. Go with the Cheetos, again. Because you failed, so nothing matters in life anymore. The Cheetos know you, they understand you. They are sweet and lovely. And then maybe you even get mad, and “fuck, no way, I’m an idiot, I failed”. And back to the Cheetos. And you’re trapped in this cycle.
2. You knew this would happen. You actually took a moment on Tuesday and said “hmm, this week started like shit. I’m sure I'll be emotionally screwed by Thursday, because I know me and seeing what’s coming down, I will probably fail my goal to train this week. But guess what, that’s OK. Nobody’s perfect, this week I had a meltdown and it looks like there might be more on their way. So yes, I know that training helps me and heals me, but it’s not the only thing that works. It is OK to start healing by slowing down, before going back to the training schedule”. And guess what happens with option number 2: stress release. The pressure goes down, the room seems bigger, the light brighter. Your feel even prettier. Guess what, the world did not stop nor exploded because of you skipping the gym. And I can assure you that the day you’ll go back to the training you’ll have the biggest motivation boost.
Also, choosing option 2 allows you to make a backup plan with a clear mind, rather than being lost in wild rage against yourself. You anticipated what would happen and where the circumstances will bring you, so you were prepared, but also you know that the shitstorm won’t last forever. And that’s the moment you have to keep your eyes on.
You may not achieve your goal and bring the Cheetos belly to Ibiza? True. It this the end of the world? Doesn’t look like it. Would the Cheetos belly disappear if you went with option 1? Absolutely not, it would actually get even bigger. And we all know it. So yes, this is just a version of “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade”.
Bottom line? Be kind with yourself. Be understanding, be fair. Recognize what you’re going through, its weight and consequences on you, emotionally. It’s OK to change plans to heal. And by doing so, you’re actually helping yourself recover faster and better and come back stronger. It’s okay to take some time and just be with yourself. Exit from the “performance mindset” and just be.

Set goals...and publish them!
Successful people always have a goal well set.. you batter set your to expect any crow
A valid plan for success must include not just goals, but published goals too. Once you’ve set your goals, print them out and keep it on the wall near where you work on your Business—in other words…publish them! This may seem silly to you, but psychologically it can be a game-changer. No one knows why exactly, but publishing your goals seems to launch activity in your powerful subconscious mind…

Don't Be Flotsam!
Flotsam: Anything floating about on the water that has no intelligent control of itself or its direction. I’ve heard a lot of excuses from people for not being in charge of their own lives. There are a few legitimate excuses, no doubt, but most of those are only short-term hindrances. Being angry, upset, or frustrated about your situation and taking your troubles out on others doesn’t solve…

Nipping The Arrival Fallacy
Have you ever climbed to the top of the mountain just so you can see the world but then you find out that sitting on top of the mountain and staring down at the world is not quite the thrill it sounds like?
The Arrival Fallacy is a powerful force that can affect anyone, but with awareness and proactive measures, we can overcome its impact. Those pursuing high-income and esteemed fields are particularly susceptible to its influence. By acknowledging and addressing this fallacy, we can realign our perspectives and pursue our goals with renewed determination. Keep reading to recognize any ways in which…

No New Year's Resolutions for Me, Here's What I'm Doing Instead
Let's skip the traditional New Year's resolution list and instead focus on setting realistic short-term and long-term goals. Are you ready?
I am not going to have any New Year’s resolutions in 2024. Yes, you heard it correctly. Setting up New Year’s resolutions is ultimately a waste of time. It’s like trying to keep a plant alive that you’ve named “Resolution” – a noble effort, but, more often than not, it withers away. So, why are we ditching the resolutions so quickly and easily? Statistically speaking, about 80% of New Year’s…

HABITS TO IMPLEMENT
Movement (yoga, running, Pilates, walking, gym, etc. Anything that allows you to move your body
Reflection- make a note of things you would like to improve on. This could be self-love, relationships,
STAY CONSISTENT
Consistency is key. Make sure to stick to your plan and keep working towards your goals every day. Even small steps are progress. Try to make your goal part of your daily routine.
HOW TO STAY CONSISTENT
SCHEDULE- Setting schedules helps really well with consistency. Make a schedule for the tasks you need to do daily or weekly to achieve your goals. This can help you make your goals a part of your routine, making it easier to stay consistent.
STAY ORGANIZED- Keep track of your tasks and goals. Use tools like calendars, to-do lists, or apps to help you stay organized and remember what you need to do.
DISCIPLINE YOURSELF- Sometimes, you won't feel like working towards your goals, and that's okay. The key is to maintain discipline and do the task anyway. Remember, consistency is about doing the task regularly, not just when you feel like it.
START SMALL- Don't overwhelm yourself with huge tasks. Start small and gradually increase your workload as you build consistency.
DON’T BE TOO HARD ON YOURSELF- If you miss a day, don't beat yourself up. Instead, acknowledge that it happened, understand why, and move on. Consistency is about long-term progress, not perfection.
CREATE A PLAN
Once you know what your goals are, create a step-by-step plan on how to achieve them. Break down each goal into smaller, manageable tasks. This might involve creating a timeline, setting deadlines, or identifying resources or tools you might need.
LEAVE THINGS IN THE PAST
In 2023, I’m sure everyone has had ups and downs, but not letting them define you as a person is something that has to be done in order for you to become a new person.
HOW TO LEAVE THINGS IN THE PAST
ACCEPTANCE-  Acknowledge the past and accept it as part of your life story. Understand that it's something that has shaped you but doesn't define you.
FORGIVENESS- Forgive yourself and others. Holding onto resentment only harms you. Letting go of grudges can bring a sense of peace and open up space for healthier relationships.
LEARN FROM IT- Every experience, good or bad, is an opportunity to learn. Reflect on these experiences and use them as stepping stones to better decisions in the future.
FOCUS ON THE PRESENT- The past is unchangeable, but the present is in your control. Concentrate on what you can do now to create a positive future.
SET NEW GOALS- Create new objectives for yourself. This gives you something to work towards and helps shift your focus from the past to the future.
PRACTISE MINDFULNESS- Mindfulness is about staying focused on the present moment. Practices like meditation can help you stay grounded and prevent you from dwelling on the past.
ADJUST YOUR PLAN AS NEEDED
It's okay if your initial plan doesn't work out exactly as you thought. Life happens, and it's important to be flexible and adapt your plan as needed. If you find that a certain approach isn't working, don't be afraid to try something different.
PRACTICE SELF CARE
Remember to take care of yourself physically, emotionally, and mentally. This can include things like getting enough sleep, eating healthy, exercising regularly, and taking time to relax and do things you enjoy. Don't forget that self-care is an important part of reaching your goals.
WAYS TO PRACTICE SELF CARE-
BALANCED DIET-  There is no need to restrict yourself from foods but eating a healthy, balanced diet is crucial for maintaining physical health. Try to include plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains in your diet.
EXERCISE REGULARLY- Regular physical activity can help reduce stress, improve mood, and boost overall health. This doesn't necessarily mean going to the gym - it could be anything from a brisk walk to a yoga class
GET ENOUGH SLEEP-  Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night. Establish a regular sleep schedule and create a relaxing bedtime routine to improve sleep quality.
STAY HYDRATED-  Drinking enough water each day is important for overall health. Try to aim for at least 8 glasses per day.
TAKE BREAKS- Make sure to take regular breaks throughout the day, especially if you're working or studying. This can help prevent burnout and improve productivity.
DO THINGS YOU ENJOY- Make time for hobbies or activities you enjoy. This could be anything from reading a book to playing a sport to painting.
  CELEBRATE SMALL THINGS
Don't wait until you've reached your big goal to celebrate. Celebrate small wins along the way to keep your motivation high. This could be treating yourself to something you enjoy, or simply taking a moment to acknowledge your achievement.
REFLECTING ON THE PAST YEAR
Think about how the past year went. Did you learn anything? Did you reach new goals? If you don't the answers to these questions, I recommend further examining your year!!
