A fact about Richie is that he tried isolating himself in the Glowing Sea before his long trek out to the Mojave Desert. He had just cut all ties in the Commonwealth and heard the earth-shattering news that Mr. House was still alive. He thought the tough conditions in the Sea might calm him down and set him straight, but it turns out manifesting about the man who doomed you in a twisted hellscape isn't very healthy. His time spent there only turned his heartbroken anger into a full blown revenge quest. Surely killing an old flame would make him feel better...right?

The fact of the matter is, even if he hadn’t passed the point of no return in the Sea itself, it would have happened somewhere else eventually. His steady decline was inevitable because he is just... so hard on himself, refusing to accept any kind of help or prolonged companionship. Under his confident exterior, the guilt and grief is eating him alive, and sadly all this self-destruction leeches out onto his friendships and lovers as well.

The sorrows of a man who needs to feel love to be okay, but snuffs it out before it can grow...

Into the Glowing Sea

As me and Danse has gotten deep into the mysterious glowing land that we spotted from above the Prydwen, we've gotten into plenty of dangers along the way, rad scorpions, many nasty insects and what not. The worst was getting up close and personal with a Deathclaw that was standing in front of our targeted place. Danse managed to distract the beast with a minigun we found in an old wrekedge of a plane. He adviced me to shoot his legs to slow it down to give me the time to make it to the other side. As I made it up on a hill I took the time to set up my sniper rifle to kill the beast from above with two shots to the head. As we gotten into the place that Virgil was hiding, we gathered informations on how to get into the Institute thanks to Virgil. But first we must kill a courser and get what's in his head? guess we knew that the worst was yet to happen.

Day One

I asked Preston to stay behind in Covenant. I will have to be by myself for my trek into the wild.

So, I took with me a hunting knife and an old sock that I stuffed with doughnuts from The Restaraunt and went down south in those shitty bogs that border the Glowing Sea. I broke into an underground lab run by a ghoul that used to be feral and his desperate wife. I robbed them of a t-shirt and some Psycho.

I was cold, wet and godlike. I then went and made for Somerville, which was under siege by Gunners. On my way, I was hassled by Rust Devils who gave me a good deal of trouble. My knife wasn't strong enough to pierce their armor and i burned through my doughnut supply trying to survive a fistfight with the devils.

Once at Somerville, I watched my employees ruthlessly pepper the gunners with missiles. Then at Somerville, i slept...and I dreamed of a place, a church of infinite dark hallways and a message written above my bed that read "Give It Back."

I feel drawn now...I have to head further south into the Glowing Sea.

OMG??? This is so stunning especially with the glowing whale shark. 😍

Unfortunately, we don't have whale shark sighting in Hawaii but we do have humpback whales (During the winter season) and other manos ("Manos" are "Sharks" in Hawaiian Language) can be found in the waters of Hawaii.

Plus glowing seas in Hawaii? Okay, I'm in; I would love to see Logan gearing up for his first ever scuba dive in ages and yet having to see a glowing whale shark in my fantasy world.

Just taking the robot out for a stroll in the Glowing Sea.

Decided to do some cleanup in Karl's Fallout 4 game, including revamping his bot-bot and straightening out where and how his resources were stashed. It's a rather old playthrough that got shelved due to the "repair object" spam bug, but thanks to this most excellent modder's comment on reddit, I was able to fix the problem.

My newest playthrough got hit by the same bug, hence the research session which finally led to the answer. The new game is fixed too and stars a genderbend of Ita, though I'm not sure if that run is sticking for longer than a half thought-out fling. If it takes hold properly, I'll be posting settlement builds for "him" at some point as well.
