I find it so endearing and just really sweet that Bad wanted to say Yangdding's name perfectly before they talked, so he practiced for like 30 minutes with chat just trying to get the sounds right. Like, he's really trying, and it really is just so nice to see.
Also, Yangdding immediately noticing that he practiced when he first said her name. And her in turn practicing saying "Badboyhalo" the whole time as well!!
HOSTAGE EXCHANGE TALKS END, EGYPTIANS BLAME ISRAELI OCCUPATION FOR FAILURE
The talks for a hostage exchange deal and a ceasefire between the Israeli entity and the Hamas resistance movement have collapsed, according to an Egyptian sources speaking with Al-Mayadeen News.
According to the Hebrew and Arab media, talks related to the genocide in the Gaza Strip have ceased without achieving its goals, which the news agency says is due to Egypt's insistence on a complete withdrawal from the Rafah crossing area, an axis know as the Philadelphia corridor.
Egyptian sources also told Reuters news agency that negotiations for a hostage exchange deal had "been frozen" until "Israel shows its seriousness."
Meanwhile, occupation Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, gave a speech in which he responded to criticisms for the attempted assassination of a supposed Hamas member, Muhammad Daf, in an airstrike that targeted a displacement camp in the town of Al-Mawasi, northeast of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, that killed 90 civilians and wounded some 300 others.
In his speech, the Prime Minister claimed to see "cracks" and "weakness" in Hamas, while he also seemingly reveals that the pain being inflicted on the civilian population is purposeful, stating that "The population in Gaza understands more and more the magnitude of the disaster that Hamas brings upon them," adding that "We will continue to strike at terrorists at an unprecedented level."
Netanyahu stated that he isn't "moving a millimeter from the outline that Biden blessed."
"I'm not adding conditions or subtracting," he argued. He went on to claim, without providing evidence, that "Hamas asked for 29 changes," without elucidating.
The Prime Minister also commented on Rafah following a question from a reporter, going on to explain that "I told my friend, Biden, there is no choice, I will enter Rafah. If not, we will not release the Hostages and we will not defeat Hamas."
The Prime Minister fails to explain why, then, if this was required to obtain the hostages, he has still failed to free them following his army's near complete destruction of Rafah City.
"They entered Rafah, we occupied the Philadelphia axis. And suddenly things start to move," Netanyahu says of the area of the Rafah border crossings, without explaining why his forces also had to burn the facilities to the ground. The resulting destruction and the closure of the crossings continues to prevent desperately needed humanitarian aid from reaching Palestinians in southern Gaza.
Netanyahu went on to say that "If there is any progress and a change in the situation, it is due to the military pressure on Hamas, that I am preventing the negotiations."
"The military pressure was not strong enough," the Prime Minister added.
while watching nimona, my friends and I got into a huge argument about how they could have scottie terriers with no scotland and jazz with no harlem renaissance so now I too just like to drop explicit references to real world things in my fic that have 0% justification being there in the first place and i feel like the funniest mfer alive
Rich G7 nations owe poor ones an estimated $13 trillion in unpaid development aid as well as support in the fight against climate change, British charity Oxfam says.
Instead of fulfilling their obligations, the International Group of Seven nations and their banks are demanding debt repayments of $232m per day, the organisation said on Wednesday.
“Wealthy G7 countries like to cast themselves as saviours but what they are is operating a deadly double standard – they play by one set of rules while their former colonies are forced to play by another,” Oxfam’s interim Executive Director Amitabh Behar said in a statement.
“It’s the rich world that owes the Global South: the aid they promised decades ago but never gave, the huge costs from climate damage caused by their reckless burning of fossil fuels, the immense wealth built on colonialism and slavery.”
Developed countries promised in 2009 to transfer $100bn annually between 2020 and 2025 to vulnerable states hit by increasingly severe climate-linked impacts and disasters – but that target was never met.

Oxfam said the G7 leaders are meeting as billions of workers face pay cuts and steep price rises.
“Global hunger has risen for a fifth consecutive year, while extreme wealth and extreme poverty have increased simultaneously for the first time in 25 years,” it said.
The G7 is home to 1,123 billionaires with a combined wealth of $6.5 trillion, and their wealth has grown in real terms by 45 percent over the past 10 years, noted Oxfam.
Carbon emissions from rich nations are estimated to have caused $8.7 trillion in losses and damage to low and middle-income countries, the charity added.
“The G7 must pay its debts. This is not about goodwill or charity – it is a moral obligation,” Behar said.

Postcrossing: A Journey of Connections and Discoveries
Shaina Tranquilino
January 29, 2024
In today's digital age, where instant communication has become the norm, receiving a handwritten letter or postcard through traditional mail feels like a breath of fresh air. It holds an undeniable charm that brings joy to both sender and recipient. This is precisely what Postcrossing aims to revive – the art of sending and receiving postcards from all corners of the world.
Postcrossing is an online platform that connects people from different countries through the exchange of postcards. It was founded in 2005 by Paulo Magalhães, a Portuguese enthusiast who wanted to bring back the magic of traditional mail and create meaningful connections among strangers.
The concept behind Postcrossing is simple yet powerful. Once registered on their website, members can request to send a postcard to another random member anywhere in the world. As soon as the recipient registers their received postcard, the sender becomes eligible to receive one in return from another participant. The randomness adds excitement and surprise to every mailbox visit.
What makes Postcrossing truly remarkable is its ability to transcend borders, cultures, and languages. Through this platform, individuals have the opportunity to learn about different countries, traditions, landmarks, and even personal stories shared by fellow participants. The colourful array of stamps collected along this journey further adds to the appeal for philatelists.
Participating in Postcrossing not only allows you to explore new places vicariously but also fosters genuine human connections. Every time you write a personal message on a postcard or read one sent from afar, it reminds us that we are all part of a global community with shared aspirations, hopes, and dreams. It promotes empathy and understanding between diverse cultures while reminding us that despite our differences, we are more alike than we realize.
Moreover, Postcrossing has become more than just an exchange of postcards; it has birthed friendships that transcend the virtual realm. Many enthusiasts have had the opportunity to meet their pen pals in person, leading to lifelong friendships and incredible travel experiences. These connections are a testament to the power of human connection and how something as simple as a postcard can create lasting bonds.
Postcrossing has also sparked a resurgence of interest in collecting postcards. The thrill of finding unique designs, seeking out rare stamps, or discovering hidden gems within one's own country has become an exciting hobby for many participants. It encourages individuals to explore their local surroundings with newfound curiosity, transforming even mundane trips into potential treasure hunts.
Postcrossing is more than just sending postcards—it is a journey that bridges gaps between people and cultures, fosters global understanding, and brings back the nostalgia of traditional mail. It serves as a reminder that despite our busy lives and digital interactions, there is still beauty in taking the time to connect on a personal level. So why not join this worldwide community and embark on your own Postcrossing adventure? You never know what surprises await you at your mailbox!
Its kind of insane like genuinely insane how many people on here have no idea what life is like for average people in the third world / global majority and the Neo-colonialism that creates those conditions to support conditions in the North and how insanely cruel they can be as the absolute baseline and the type of killing and death that maintains the boundaries between the north and the south.
Like tell me you've never met an immigrant or refugee without telling me. Do you genuinely not know what happens to people who get deported, or work in the farms or meatpacking factories that feed the North?? The child deaths in the border crossings? The mines all over the globe? The people that die from lack of baseline vaccinations and sanitation and healthcare trademarked by western companies? The literal MILLIONS of third worlders killed in the wars across the globe defending US economic hegemony? The agent orange, the land mines, the carpet bombing, the drones? What the fuck is wrong with you?
don’t you guys get tired of doing this like seriously it’s always corruption legal system education system whenever someone says anything about american cultural hegemony. especially with film this is such a stupid ass thing to complain about because hollywood has the global film industry in a chokehold…like while you’re complaining about not getting spoon fed news about non-english language films other people have a bitch of a time even finding movies that are produced in their country and in their native language because english language US movies dominate the global market lmao
🇵🇸🇮🇱 🚨 SEVENTH ROUND OF HOSTAGES EXCHANGED AS PART OF TRUCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN ISRAELI OCCUPATION AND HAMAS
A seventh round of hostages were released by Israeli Occupation Authorities Thursday, November 30th, releasing a total of 30 Palestinian hostages, including 22 children and 8 women as per the extension of the truce agreement between the Israeli Occupation and Hamas.
The exchange took place at the Ofer military prison, southwest of Ramallah and at the Russian compound prison in occupied Jerusalem, and took place as negotiated by Qatari and Egyptian authorities.
19 of the child prisoners were bussed in from the Ofer military prison to downtown Ramallah in the occupied West Bank using busses provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Earlier in the day, prior to the prisoner release, Occupation authorities raided the occupied Jerusalem homes of the prisoners that were to be released.
In the seven swap deals, Occupation authorities released a total of 63 women and 147 children, the majority of whom had been arrested by occupation forces in raids conducted since October 7th.
Meanwhile, Israeli Occupation Forces have arrested 260 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, since the beginning of the seven-day truce.
Meanwhile, Hamas today freed a further six Israeli captives, who are on their way to Israeli hospitals where their families are waiting for them. They are currently being taken to Tel Hashomer Wolfson and Soroka Hospitals.
