vagy: Portré a lángoló fiatal hajóról.

nem fér a fejembe, hogy a valaha legszebben fényképezett (+vágott +látványtervezett, szóval: legszebb) magyar filmnek miért kell ennyire kritikátlanul viszonyulnia a toxikus férfi-női szerepekhez, és az alapműhöz.

Rév Marcell a világ egyik csodája.

ez Enyedi Ildikó legjobb filmje lehetett volna, ha kevésbé konzervatív/szexista. szerintem úgy még a hossza sem zavart volna, mert a tempója a helyén volt. de így nekem marad a Simon mágus a kedvencem.

nagy hiba szerintem, hogy a Filmio-n csak szinkronnal látható, Hajduk mint Gijs Naber nekem nem működött, és Séydoux saját hangját is szeretem. Thuróczy Szabolcs viszont nagyon jó volt, mert gondolom az volt a cél, hogy mindig nevessen az ember, amikor Sergio Rubini megszólal.

szomorú szintén, hogy nincsenek összeszedve sem albumként, sem playlistként a film zenéi, ilyen jó zenéje magyar filmnek nem tudom, hogy volt-e már (valószínűleg soundtrackre gondolok, nem score-ra).

párizsiból nem lesz hamburger.

A woman living in a large country home drives her servants to mutiny with her outrageous demands as she waits for death to come for her.

Even though one can guess where the story is heading, it's still a pleasantly absurd, dark and a little macabre "family" movie. I can also see this as a stage play.

I think I've become a fan of Alex van Warmerdam's films lately. Maybe I should try to re-watch even the ones I saw earlier and originally had mixed feelings about.
