Idk how to request os it doesn't sound rude😭 (i'm sorry) but can you do miyeon g!p x fem!reader (like jealous miyeon bc reader was flirting with yuqi and talking dirty with minnie, then miyeon heard and just putted her in her place iygwim) if you don't wanna do this just ignore it please
just mine (miyeon, smut)
summary: miyeon takes your flirtatious jokes with her friends seriously and puts you in your place
warnings: dom!gp!miyeon, sub!f!reader, praise, breeding kink, jealousy, degradation, mirror sex, slight choking kink, a lot of dirty talk
word count: 1.3k
a/n: not much to say, just a lot of filthy miyeon 😭
“you did well today,” your lips temptingly released, with the lipgloss sticking them together.
“hm? with the stage?” yuqi turned her head at you, and almost instantaneously her air felt heated and her breath hitched. you nod, awaiting her response.
“thank you, y/n,” she smirked with just the corners of her lips.
“no need,” you conciously moved your hand to rest on her shoulder for just enough time that she’d think about it. long enough that she’d think about you.
“is miyeon still here?” she asks you, and you both can guess why.
“shes in the next room, are you going home soon?” this is true, miyeon is in the next room. actually, in the next room with the door open giving her a loud and clear audio of everything happening.
“who knows, you could come,” she smirks but laughs it off. as you open your mouth to respond, your head follows minnie who just came out of another connecting entrance.
“hi y/n,” she says, smiling all cutesy.
“hii minnie,” your voice does that thing where it lingers for an unnecessary amount of time. you look her up and down, noticing her obvious pulchritude immediately.
she chuckles, noticing your silence. “cat got your tongue?” she teases. your initial instinct is to make some corny joke about her tongue but you resist in attempt to look cool.
its obvious to everyone in the room that theres some sort of tension, even if its awkward and slightly cliche at times.
“you both look too good, if miyeon wasn’t a room over who knows what i’d be doing right now,” you remark with a devilish smile plastered on your face. you earn a laugh out of them both, but you can tell they undoubtedly agree.
“probably us,” yuqi says under her breath, but you catch it and just giggle. the laughs wouldn’t last much longer although, because the feeling of an unrecognized hand inching onto your waist shuts you up quickly.
your body jinks, to be met by your girlfriend’s uptight stature. “hey miyeon! ready to-“ she cuts you off my taking your hand and urging you to the car.
no words left her mouth the entire car ride, just silence between the both of you. you know what you did though, you were fully aware she would hear all of it too. even better, you loved how jealous she got.
it felt as if your arm was going to fall off when she forcefully dragged you into your shared apartment. she locked eyes with you, with her aggressive yet charming demeanor taking over her completely.
“anything to say?” she spits. there is nothing to say, you just flirted with her friends and did it to make her jealous, because shes beyond hot like this. so, you just shake your head.
“do you want to fuck them, y/n?” she outright states. obviously, taken aback, you stutter over yourself at the claim made.
“what- what the fuck miyeon?” you can’t help but slightly shout at her, even if you know theres reason behind her anger. she scoffs and laughs to control the situation. “i wasn’t actually flirting, baby, i thought you could tell that?” you say.
“oh yeah?” she looks down but she was still very upset.
“yes,” you practically beg. she steps a bit closer to you, but her face doesnt change or drop.
“you’re such a slut, y/n,” she looks you up and down, finally focusing her eyes on yours with her head tilted a little. you wince a little, in pain from biting down on your tongue.
she places her hands on the back of your head, rubbing on your hair adding to the tension between you. her lips pressed just on the edges of yours. you lean, falling deeper into the temptation. her tongue sliding just enough out that you would feel it.
“you’re mine, okay?” she pulls away. “im gonna make you feel it.” her kiss travels you both into a utopia even if you could feel her anger traveling through her bites.
her arms moving from your head to your hands, pulling you whilst holding the kiss into your room. the romantic gestures don’t last long however, as she practically throws you onto the bed.
“strip for me,” she hisses. you do as she asks, and reveal your curved body to her. she undos her clothes along with you, and lets only a second pass before pouncing onto you.
“im gonna fuck you better than they ever could” she grunts. she slaps her cock against the folds of your entrance, exposed to her touch and the air.
you feel her hands spread your legs just a bit farther apart, enough for her to pound into you. the tip of it pushes your edges, coating itself in your liquids.
“so wet? aren’t you easy,” she smirks at you pushing into your pussy. with a wicked grin, she leans forward rubbing your bodies together. her free hand flicks at your cunt putting your wetness on the head of her dick.
youre core cries out for her touch, and she thrusts her length in to please you. you grip onto her, almost as if you’re pulling her in from desperation.
“you’re going to take it, princess, ‘kay?” with a firm hand, she moves your face up to look at her, like shes trying to ingrain her words into you. “come on, tell me,” her grasp on your chin drags lower, as she tightens it around your neck.
“i promise, i’ll take it,” you squeeze your eyes shut and your lower body quivers, dragging her in farther. “please,” you whisper, digging your nails farther into her back.
she writes her smirk into her hip movement, and she rams her dick into you. this time, she moves in and out of you at a consistent pace.
every hit on your pussy leads your cum to squirt out. she quickens her pace, noticing this, and dips her finger into your sweet nectar, licking it off.
“what a pretty pussy, im gonna breed you y/n,” she sucks the end of her fingers before slapping them gently on your clit, pushing them in the little space next to her cock.
“take it, suck me in, pretty girl,” her praise causes you to moan loudly, unlike anything miyeon has heard from you before.
this only makes her needier to cum inside of you, so she takes your hips and steadies you, and picks you up to have you facing the mirror beside your bed. your ass towards her, and her cock still pushing into you, as you both look at your body in the mirror.
“see, you are so slutty, look at you,” she pounds into you with her fingertips roaming your legs and hips. “i’ll breed your pussy so you really know you’re mine,” she moans into your ear.
miyeon leans back, making you do all the work of riding her length. the sound of skin clapping against each other, bouncing on her, liquids meshing and moans filling the room.
“my good girl,” she grunts into your ear, stabilizing your body once more.
“n-need your cum,” you moan for her. she smirks and you can feel the increasing heat down your neck.
both of your bodies tense up, and the movements become more erratic. you breathing hitches, and miyeon swallows down groans. the sensation between you two is intense and overwhelming yet a type of pleasure only she could make you feel.
her liquids spill into you, making you truly hers. “mmm so good,” she sighs, pulling out of you gently treating your body as her temple. her lips make their way down your neck and back lovingly, as a way of showing gratitude.
“im yours, miyeon, i promise,” you turn around to her, and lay one more kiss for her, and she returns it with a smile.
“just mine.”

Need a little something | Jeon Soyeon x fem! reader
Requested by: Anonymous
Request: 1) Can I request a g!p top yuqi or soyeon fic? Any scenario you want ofc
2) Are your request still open? No pressure if they aren't but if they are can you make a soyeon smut fanfic?
Warnings: G!P Soyeon, blowjob, cursing
Genre: Smut, Soft Dom!Soyeon
Wordcount: ~ 2,926
A/N: i think i love this one
“Unnie, you’re scaring me.”
With a frown Shuhua watched as her leader, Jeon Soyeon had a full blown breakdown. She’d never seen the other member like that, even when their own company was being ridiculous or awful to them it was always Soyeon who kept their spirits up.
And now, in her little studio Soyeon had her face hidden in her hands, as she was sitting behind the desk. Maknae bit her lip, while analyzing the music program that was turned on on Soyeon’s computer. As expected, she was already working on (G)I-DLE’s new album even though they had barely finished previous promotions.
“It’s just not it.”
Shuhua sighed after hearing the exact same sentence for another time. A little part of her was relieved that the leader wasn’t mad at any of her struggles in the studio booth this time, yet still she hated the fact that Soyeon had to suffer so much for being a perfectionist.
“Something’s missing. I was sure I had it all planned out in my head but something’s still not clicking in here.” Soyeon pointed to the screen.
Shuhua sneakily pulled her phone out of the pocket and messaged for the other members to help with comforting Soyeon. A brainstorm is always a good idea.
“Maybe we should add a different harmony!”
“No.”
“Write some more rap?”
“No.”
“Let’s have Yuqi have all the lines?”
„Never!” Soyeon giggled, while turning in her office chair. Her eyes met Shuhua’s briefly, as she began swinging from side to side. It was a small success.
“JEON SOYEON!”
A loud voice caused both of them to turn their heads to see Yuqi entering the room with Miyeon and Minnie walking closely behind. Chinese tried to hug leader’s head, but she was only met with a playful slap. Meanwhile Puppy Sisters sat down next to Shuhua on the couch.
“A little bird told us you’re being dramatic.”
“Yah, Yuqi! Have some manners.” Miyeon scolded the main dancer, she felt sorry for Soyeon. She was aware how incredibly important music and creating was to the middle member.
“It’s just not it. I don’t know what else to tell you. I’ve been working on it for the past three days, but I just can’t come up with that special little something.”
Soyeon explained with her hands dropping hopelessly.
“Let us hear it though.” Minnie chimed in, a bag of hazelnuts already in her fingers as Shuhua tried to steal some of it. “We’ll see together.”
After seeing encouraging nods from the rest of the group, Soyeon turned to the computer again and pressed space bar. Then she watched the girls for their reactions.
“It’s so cool, unnie.” Yuqi started dancing almost immediately, she even had few ideas for the choreography.
“Ooh I love this part!” Miyeon pointed out while Minnie and Shuhua were also just happily vibing to the song and lip syncing most of it.
Soyeon paused it suddenly.
“I’m not saying it’s bad! It’s just not what I want. I still have to work on it.”
Four groans were heard.
“I think it’s going to be a hit.” Yuqi’s wide eyes turned to Soyeon felt almost like an attack with how intense she was looking at her. “I’m serious!”
Leader only shook her head slightly.
“No, if Y/N was here to say it, Soyeon unnie would agree.” Shuhua chuckled causing the fuss all over the room.
With that loud laugh of hers Miyeon nodded at her words immediately, Yuqi whined feeling unappreciated and Minnie was just dying out of laughter on the couch - her fondness for maknae raising automatically. In the middle of it all, Soyeon was trying to protest and disagree, but no one was listening anyways. That’s when Miyeon thought of an idea.
“What if she came over?”
“Should we call her?” Shuhua quickly joined in, she liked you a lot.
“Guys, it’s not her problem though.” The leader wasn’t against your company - heck, she’d do anything to have her beautiful girlfriend around more but she just didn’t feel comfortable with having you there while she was working. It was her work after all, she’d hate to bother you.
“Let Y/N save the day. Call her, Soyeonie.” Minnie smiled softly at Soyeon. Thai had known her leader for so long and it really seemed like only you could make a difference.
Short girl rolled her eyes playfully but obeyed nonetheless and dialed your number in no time. Everyone present leaned in and with big eyes they were all expecting to hear your voice soon.
“Baby?” You answered sweetly.
Soyeon’s eyes widened, she could feel a hot, deep blush spreading on her face.
For the second time, the room filled with laughter. It was a pure chaos.
“Hey, Y/N. You’re on speaker and the members are here too.” Soyeon quickly said, her left hand covering half of her face, as she still felt embarrassed.
“Oh...” It was clear you also felt uneasy about the situation although moment later you just laughed it off and used your sweet tone again. “Hi everyone.”
The members took turns saying ‘hi’ to you, then Shuhua took the initiative, “Unnie, are you busy now?”
“Not really, why?”
They all looked at Soyeon as if they wanted to prove that you were literally one call away when she needed you.
“You should come over! Soyeon-ah is a mess without you.” Yuqi laughed causing Miyeon to slap her arm.
“Yah, Yuqi stop with that.” Soyeon whined, her foot weakly kicking up not even touching Chinese’s leg.
“No, but seriously can you come over? Soyeon is stressing over this new song, but she’s not listening to us. If you don’t have anything better to do then I’m sure we could all use your company.” Minnie suggested, Shuhua nodded at her words as if you could see it.
“Sure, I’ll be there in 20 minutes. I just have to hang the laundry.”
“Omo, perfect!” You felt something warm feeling your tummy after listening to all of their happy reactions. You sometimes couldn’t believe they liked you so much.
“Okay, we’ll be waiting in my studio. Fourth floor.” Soyeon finally spoke up, gentle smile grazing her face. Even her sudden producing block couldn’t stop her from smiling at you.
“Okie, see you soon!”
Once the call ended all (G)-IDLE’s members exchanged looks before bursting out laughing. Soyeon’s poor couch kept on getting hit by the girls.
~
“So where’s my patient?”
Was the first thing you said after opening the door.
All the girls cheered up loudly even though you’d barely entered. Soyeon’s sharp eyes found yours right away, she felt her heart skip a beat. Your smile lit up the whole room.
“Hi, how are you all?” You asked the members kindly.
“Good and you?”
“Great, thank you.”
“Listen, unnie if you won’t do anything about her I’m gonna-” Shuhua stopped midway in order to dramatically pull at her hair.
“Jump out the window.” Yuqi finished for maknae perfectly though.
You tilted your head curiously and finally stepped towards Soyeon, who was still sitting on the office chair. Frankly speaking, it seemed to her that she was trapped there. Allowed to leave the studio only once this certain song is finished.
“What’s wrong Soyeon-ah?” With your hands resting on chair backrest, you leaned in to the screen watching the music program fascinated. Even though you weren’t exactly sure what you were looking at you felt glad to just be there. You’d admired Jeon Soyeon since you could remember. Her ideas, visions and these genius observations of the world around her. Even before the two of you met and started dating she never failed to amaze you. You used to watch her on tv and now the fact that you could be introduced to some people as her girlfriend made your chest fill with pride every single time.
“Just listen to this part.” Defeated, Soyeon played the song.
She had to bite the inside of her cheek real hard in order to focus on your genuine reaction and not that sweet, familiar smell of you that hit her so closely. Few strands of your hair tickled the skin of her shoulder that was not covered by the black tank top she was wearing. Whenever your body this was near she felt both at ease and very excited.
“Woah! It’s so cool, I love it.” Soyeon looked up unconvinced, her eyebrows raised at you. She could almost feel your breaths fanning her face. “I can’t see the problem in here. I really can’t, baby.”
“See?! It’s a good song.” Minnie exclaimed, slowly getting tired of the situation. And especially since you arrived, she figured the four of them won’t be needed anymore.
“It’s empty. It’s missing something. I don’t know what it is yet but it just needs a little something to it.” Soyeon stayed stubborn.
“Ah I see... Issues of a perfectionist.” You teased your girlfriend, but only for a short second. You were far too scared of her small figure and what she was capable of.
Your comment made the members giggle and agree with you completely meanwhile Soyeon glared at you.
“How about you turn it off?” You suggested with a small shrug.
“What?” Leader frowned.
“What?” The rest of the group was also surprised about your idea.
“Right now you’re just suffering. In fact, everyone present in this room can feel your struggle and because you’re too focused on it now you can’t find the solution. So my advice would be to turn off this computer and just... try to relax for a bit. Then the idea will come to you naturally.”
The second you had said the word ‘relax’ in front of Soyeon in her work mode fully on, you wished to face palm yourself. The look on her face was priceless, as if you were an alien.
“Wait, what if it actually works?” Miyeon looked at others’ faces.
“It does make sense. I think we could give it a try.” Shuhua agreed with Miyeon, which was not an often moment.
“Soyeon-ah?” Yuqi searched for the leader’s opinion on it all.
“Turn it off and then what? How am I supposed to relax when I can’t even think straight.” She tried to brush the idea off, but luckily you could be stubborn as well.
“So you’re agreeing that it actually drives you insane? Then let’s just take a small break, Soyeon. Do you know what a break is?”
Shuhua’s mouth fell open when she heard your question. Most of the times, you were a very kind person, but once you got sarcastic it was incredibly entertaining to watch. Especially your ‘arguments’ with Soyeon were fun to watch, as they made the two of you sound like an old married couple.
“It is making me frustrated, but I have to finish it. There’s no way I’m taking a break now.”
“But that is the only way to finish it! You have to let your brain rest for at least a couple of minutes to have a fresh look on this. Then the missing part will come.” The members’ heads were turning from her to you like they were watching a tennis match. The ball was now on Soyeon’s side.
„No! I have to finish it first.”
“You need a break!” Minnie’s head fell on the couch backrest, she closed her eyes before mentally counting to three.
This didn’t go exactly as planned. Minnie simply thought that after arriving you’d tell Soyeon how great the song was and that Soyeon would drop the topic immediately. Everyone around their leader could see how important your opinions were to her. And how much she liked being complimented by you. Her lips used to create that coy yet satisfied smirk whenever you were gasping amazed.
None of the girls expected you and Soyeon to fight although they all knew that neither of you would ever hurt the other person. It was safe to leave you two alone. At least convincing Soyeon wasn’t their problem anymore.
“No.”
“Yes.”
“No.”
“Ye-”
“I’m leaving.” Thai stood up and with no look back left the studio.
Maknae was fast to follow her. Miyeon and Yuqi exchanged looks, the two of you hadn’t even noticed that someone was leaving, it seemed. The oldest shrugged and also left the room while pulling Yuqi with her by the shirt. Only once the door closed behind them you looked up to see no one there anymore.
“Oh.” You frowned cutely.
Soyeon shook her head with an amused smile before putting it in her hands as she did with Shuhua being the only one present before.
“What?” You asked when you heard a sudden fit of giggles leave Soyeon.
“You’re lucky you’re cute, Y/N.” She rubbed her eyes and did something that shook you to the core.
She turned off the music program.
You were about to ask whether Soyeon was feeling okay when she was the one to speak first.
“Come here.” She opened her arms gesticulating for you to take a sit on her lap.
“Was it so damn hard?” With a bit of her help you made yourself comfortable. You hugged her by the neck making your heads bump together. Not too hard but just so that both of you could feel the other person’s presence. To Soyeon, it was a heartwarming gesture.
She shushed you, one of her hands caressing your hair slowly.
After all day in front of the computer, she had to redirect her senses. She wanted you to fill her space, to be the center of it. She’d make you the center of universe if she could.
“Baby?” You murmured enjoying the way her body was warming you up. She hummed in response, her eyelids falling close for a short, blissful moment. “I think I know what you need. I think I know the perfect way to make you relax.”
“You think so, Y/N?” Now she was wide awake, “I think you have to show me.”
Her hands gripped your hips in order to make you face her properly. You bit your lip at the way her nails dug into your skin through the material of your shirt. Hazy look in Soyeon’s eyes had you already anticipating her next moves, words.
“Will you be a good girl and show me? Will you help me relax?” She whispered straight into your mouth, as if she was putting a spell on you. Hypnotizing you with her seductive voice.
You could give a bare nod before her lips crashed onto yours making your mind delete every single thing that existed besides the two of you in that room. In her little studio. You’d never done it in public, how thrilling.
“Close the door first.” As fast as possible you got up and did as you were told. She turned the chair in your direction letting you see her back confidently leaned against it with her elbows lazily resting on the armrest. “Now get on your knees.”
You gulped and your eyes even widened due to excitement, Soyeon smirked amused by how easy you were to turn on. You were so fun to play with. Her words were your command. She loved watching your hungry eyes following every single move of her fingers while they worked on the belt.
“Now I want you to make me forget all about that damn song.” Soyeon rasped once she let her member stand freely in front of your face.
“Say no more, baby.” You met her eyes for a brief second, wanting her to know that you’d never disappoint. There was no way you’d loose an opportunity to please her.
Gentle, yet firm your hold was on her at first. You took your time moving your hand up and down her shaft meeting her wet with precum, tip. You bit your lip at the sight and let your thumb smear it. Your actions earned a breathy moan from your girlfriend.
When you looked up you saw Soyeon’s head had fully fallen on the chair.
“Don’t stop, my good girl.” Her lips created a lazy smile after she felt your mouth wrap around her length.
You grabbed the base of her cock meanwhile your warm tongue took care of its’ upper part. Over time with Soyeon, you learned how to give incredible blowjobs. You knew how to use your mouth and knew exactly what tipped your girlfriend over the edge.
“My god, Y/N. You’re so good at it.” Groans kept spilling from her, as your tongue moved the right way, sucking her deliciously.
Soyeon’s fingers pulled on your hair, she didn’t even need to guide you, just needed something to keep herself grounded. Her hips bucked without her really acknowledging it.
You hummed against her cock, almost smiling at Soyeon’s responses to you. Only you could see her like that, taste her here and there. The vibrations you made had your girlfriend panting heavily, her orgasm was approaching. It was approaching fast.
“Fuck, baby.” Her shaft was throbbing in your mouth and your hand was playing with her balls - it was over for Jeon Soyeon. She was addicted to your touch, even her words came out stuttered. “I-I’m cumming.”
Eagerly, you swallowed everything she gave you, slightly slurping. Soyeon moaned your name, trying her best not to be loud at the same time. After you pulled away in order to wipe your mouth, she looked at you with a satisfied smile, eyes full of stars.
“You should visit me here more often.”

𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏? (𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄)
summary: You were at the nearby convenience store, searching for pads that Soyeon desperately needed. At last, when your ego couldn’t overpower your desperation any longer, you asked a worker there.
Little did you know that she’d make you feel in ways you’d never imagined.
includes: periods, late night outings, breakdowns, crying, stress, mentions of feeling empty, gxg, yeah that’s it ig
genre: fluff
pairing: non idol! store worker! yuqi x fem! reader
word count: 4.2k
a/n: bro i realized that i reserve fluff for gidle is that counted as favoritism orrrrr…why is this so long it was nawt meant to be this long you’d think yuqi was my bias HELP. anyway this was stuck in my drafts incompleted for a while it’s out of the dungeon yay?? this was inspired by escape + paradise (gidle) + off the record (ive) so tell me why i looped groove back (jaywhypee) while writing this
taglist: @kflixnet
You were standing in the middle of the store like a lost child. Your eyes scanned the aisle of sanitary items, but you just couldn’t find it.
The thing in question?
The brand of pads that your friend and roommate Soyeon wanted.
Her legs were too weak to walk for ten minutes, let alone thirty, and you knew how painful her cramps could be, considering how many times she ranted to you about them.
Every month for three days nonstop.
You had no other option but to swallow your pride and ask one of the store workers. You looked around the aisle, searching for a friendly face in uniform. You noticed an old man, but you passed on talking to him since he looked too grumpy for your liking.
Suddenly, your eyes fell on her.
She looked just like a dream, the prettiest girl you’d ever seen.
She was adorable and had this cheery attitude around her. She looked like she genuinely enjoyed her work and talking to customers.
You should definitely learn something from her.
You shuffled over to her, a bit more nervous than you’d like to admit.
“Excuse me?”
She was busy stocking items until you spoke to her. She turned her face to look at you, still holding a shampoo bottle. She flashed a bright smile at you, and it was contagious.
“Hello miss, how may I help you?”
She had a deep voice, which contrasted with her face and caught you a bit off guard.
“Yeah, uh- um- do you happen to know where the…XXX brand of pads is?”
“Right this way, miss!”
She quickly placed the shampoo bottle on its respective shelf before taking a few steps forward, waiting for you to follow.
You walked slightly behind her, admiring her side profile. You seemed to like this particular store worker more than normal.
“Do you not usually get that brand?”
“Nope, I buy another one.”
“This is for a friend, I assume?”
“Yeah.”
She hummed in response, looking straight ahead again. You both reached a shelf, and it was familiar- wait, you were here just now…
She pointed to one of the stacks of pads which was directly in your line of sight, and you stared in disbelief. Was it there this whole time?
“That makes sense. If you were using it, you’d recognize it and know that it was in the place you were standing earlier.”
She chuckled as your eyes widened in embarrassment.
“Oh. Yeah. Thanks…”
You looked at her nametag quickly, not wanting to seem like you were checking her out.
“...Yuqi. Thank you for your help.”
Her name rolled off your tongue so prettily that she couldn’t help but replay it in her head like a broken record.
“No problem, miss. It’s my job after all.”
She went away to continue her work, and you realized that she basically called you dumb and sorta blind for not seeing something in front of you.
Pause. Hold on.
How did she know that you were in front of that section?
This was your first time seeing her, and she was in another aisle.
Was she staring at you?
You shrugged it off before going to the cashier to pay. You didn’t want to keep Soyeon waiting more than she had to — she was already struggling.
As you rushed to the exit, you saw her out of the corner of your eye. You waved at her quickly. She reciprocated the gesture and smiled at you, and you swore you heard birds chirping and flowers growing. You managed a half-assed grin back at her before rushing off, feeling heat rush to your cheeks.
Why were you so flustered?
You reached your shared apartment with your friend, holding the bags of groceries in both hands. Soyeon was sitting in the living room watching TV.
“What took you so long?”
“Your pads.”
“What, you had a walk with them or something?”
You rolled your eyes at her.
“I was about to give up and buy you another brand, be grateful to that one cashier?”
“Name? I’ll send them a bottle of juice, a thank you, and an apology for helping my idiot friend.”
She grinned at you as you closed the door and locked it.
“Might as well. Her name was Yuqi.”
She suddenly paused the movie she was matching before she turned to you.
“Yuqi? Song Yuqi?”
“I think-?”
“Oh, you went to the store she works in?”
“I gue- wait, you know her?”
“She’s one of my friends.’
“Really? You should introduce her to me sometime soon, then.”
“I will.”
It had been three months since that day. You visited the store she worked in four times a week with the pretense of shopping, but the outcome was you buying one or two small trinkets and spending three hours chatting away with Yuqi. You both connected instantly, her sense of humor pulling you in as soon as you talked with her more. Her smile brightened your day, and her laugh commanded your stomach to do somersaults.
Yuqi being in your life felt so natural that you couldn’t believe you once existed without her as your friend.
You had been going to that store late at night a lot recently to satisfy your midnight cravings. The place had everything you wanted, including your new best friend.
There was a problem, though, and it was the fact that she was almost always there.
Not for you (if you thought selfishly, then maybe), but for herself.
She was having both day and night shifts, which was obviously unhealthy. When you asked her about it as tactfully as you could, she brushed it off as ‘earning more’.
More money was good, but not at the cost of her health.
One night, you entered the convenience store, wanting some instant ramyeon. There was no one there, and you appreciated the quiet.
You searched the shelves before finding the specific flavor you wanted. You went to the little stand near the counter for hot water to cook the noodles. You sat down on the stool before it, drumming your fingers against the table's surface as you waited. As the water finished pouring, the store went silent save for the low buzz of the A/C and coolers.
Suddenly you heard a few muffled sniffles behind you. Your head whipped in the direction of the sound as you realized that you didn’t pay attention to the girl behind the cash register until now.
It was Yuqi.
Her elbows were propped on the part of the conveyor belt where items would be stuffed into plastic bags. Her face was buried in her hands, trying to hide her tears. Without thinking twice, you went through the small door barring non-employees from entering. You stood behind her and bent your knees a bit so that you could reach her height while she sat on the chair. One of your arms was around her waist, the other hand in her hair, running through it. Her breath caught in her throat and she moved her hands away from her face to look at who was being so affectionate all of a sudden at this hour.
“Y…Y/N?”
“Yuqi, when does the store close?”
“In…five minutes?”
Her voice was still hoarse from crying as she spoke, so you turned her around fully to face you and hugged her properly.
“Let’s go outside?”
She was confused, but she was also too tired to fight you, so she nodded. You let go of her before giving her money for the ramyeon you bought. It was way more than the actual price. When she pointed that out, you shook your head and smiled at her as you told her to keep the change. She sighed before inserting the price into the cash register and then putting the extra money in her purse. She then entered the employee-only room, and you picked up your chopsticks to eat your ramyeon. She came out of the room after a short while with her bag and her normal clothes. She wore a pair of light blue jeans, a simple black hoodie, and a grey beanie. Her hair was in a bun. Yuqi smiled tiredly at you, and you smiled back, although you were hiding your concern.
You both exited the shop. She then locked it with the keys that she had. She put them in her jeans pocket before turning to look at you.
“Where are we going?”
“Just follow me.”
She tilted her head in confusion, but then she simply shrugged and followed you as you started walking. The night was serene, and the moon and stars were bright in the dark. There was a cool breeze blowing which messed up your and Yuqi’s hair. She smiled as she noticed you struggling to fix your messy strands, this one more broad than the one she gave you earlier in the store.
Suddenly she pulled you a little closer before undoing the ponytail you had and running her hands through your hair. Your eyes widened at the action and you could feel heat creeping up to the back of your neck. She carefully redid your ponytail, her fingers occasionally touching your face as she did. She didn’t notice how she was affecting you, and her face was adorable with how focused she was. Her cheeks were puffed out slightly and her eyes were narrowed at you, making her look more squishy than intimidating.
Once she was done, she moved back a bit, now looking nervous.
“Um- sorry about that- it’s just…like I just felt like fixing your hair when I- when I saw you struggle, so uh-”
You chuckled as you patted her shoulder.
“Thanks.”
She grinned, and you understood why Soyeon called her ‘giant puppy’.
She looked at you so fondly that you felt your stomach twist and turn. In order to distract yourself, you looked away and fiddled with your fingers.
“Let’s go then.”
“Sure.”
You started walking again, staring straight ahead, Yuqi a little behind. After around five minutes of walking, you looked back only to see her trying to warm her hands. It wasn’t very cold according to you, but you went over to you.
“Yuqi, Yuqi, are your hands cold?” She looked at you sheepishly.
“Yeah, kinda…it’s fine though, really.
She pulled her beanie more over her head so that she could cover her ears.
“My hands are warm…”
Her eyes widened.
“You don’t have to if it makes you uncomfortable-”
“I’m fine with it.”
Without warning, you reached out for one of her hands. It was ice compared to yours, but it felt nice for some reason. Her hand fit perfectly in yours, fingers intertwined so gently, leaving no small gaps in between. You were too busy looking down at the pavement in an attempt to hide your blush to notice her warm cheeks — a stark contrast to her hands.
“Thank you Y/N, even though you didn’t have to-”
“Shush. I wanted to.”
You realized that what you said sounded less platonic than how much you’d prefer it to be.
She nudged you playfully with the shoulder closer to you, and you nudged her back. You started walking again, taking her with you. Silence fell upon you both, but it was a comfortable one. Your brain’s cogs were on overdrive, and your thoughts drifted off to Yuqi.
Why were you suddenly so nervous and extremely flustered around her? You always had skinship with her before, so why were you so awkward now?
You then started going through your memories of your interactions with her in the past three weeks, remembering how you’d blush at her usual actions of affection, how you’d make more jokes and embarrass yourself — in front of only her — just to see her smile and laugh more, how you wanted to take a picture every time you met, how you wanted to treasure everything positive she said about you even if it was dumb, how you’d stare at the pictures you had of her - some with you, some without, and how-
No.
It wasn’t what you thought it was, right?
Right?
This wasn’t love, you weren’t-
Did you seriously fall in love with Yuqi?
Holy shit, no, fuck, fuck, fuck-
You couldn’t accept it, you both were just best friends. There was nothing more to it, right?
“Y/N, are you okay? You seem a bit distressed…”
And you were caught.
Your heart couldn’t help but just melt at the tone of soft concern in her voice, and when looked at her face, she had a tiny yet playful pout on it contrasting the serious and questioning gaze she held.
It hit you like a shot in that already mushy organ of yours.
Maybe you were in love.
“I’m okay, Yuqi. I just zoned out.”
You gripped her hand tighter, head swimming in this new thought. Unaware of your internal dilemma, she walked on peacefully. There seemed to be a calm glow in her aura, even though you weren’t a psychic of any kind.
‘Y/N, where are we going?”
Her query made you snap out of your reverie. You scanned your surroundings, and your pace picked up.
“You didn’t answer my question!”
Her voice was all whiny this time, making you grin.
“We’re almost there.”
“My legs are going to die!”
“...we’ve been walking for ten minutes?”
She was about to say something in protest, but you stopped walking and pointed to your left. He turned her head in that direction and her jaw dropped.
You had led her to an empty beach that was known by barely anyone. It had been a safe space for you, and you’d come here when you had to get away from life’s difficulties.
“We’re here.”
“Y/N, this…it’s so pretty.”
“I know.”
She ran to the beach and she dragged you with her, your feet leaving the bricked sidewalk and landing on the sand illuminated by the moonlight. You both reached a pair of swings fixed a little distance away from the shoreline. She let go of your hand, and although you felt a little twinge of disappointment at the loss of warmth, it was replaced instantly by excitement as you saw Yuqi giggling while on the swing. You sat down on the one beside it and started swinging as well. For a while, the only sounds in the dark night were the creaking of the chains holding up the swings, sand flying up as either of your feet accidentally hit the ground and the waves gently crashing against the shore, and it felt like a dream date.
Except, it wasn’t a date, just a hangout with your best friend.
So why were you wishing that it was one?
After a few minutes, you both got tired, and the swings came to a stop. You both just sat there, you staring at the bright moon and twinkling stars, while Yuqi saw them through your eyes, preferring to watch them that way.
“Yuqi, if it’s okay for me to ask…why were you crying earlier?”
You turned to look at her, and she shifted her eyesight to the sand beneath her feet.
“Well- I was just stressed and broke down, I guess.”
“Why do you have so many shifts?”
She froze, her hand gripping the chains tightly.
“If you don’t want to tell me, that’s fine, I’m sorry for prod-”
“No, no, it’s okay.”
She let out a shaky breath, before glancing back at you as she blinked rapidly. You grabbed her hand again, squeezing it a little as if to console her.
“Yuqi, it’s alright to cry. I won’t judge.”
“I do all this work so that I don’t have to go home.”
Your facial features rearranged into an expression mixed between confusion and worry.
“What…what do you mean?”
She held your gaze again, her eyes filled with tears.
“I-I always feel so empty when I’m not at work. I don’t know how else to explain it. Being at the store helps me feel…feel alive. Otherwise, I just go back to my small studio apartment with no one else there, back to a place with nothing interesting to do, back to a place void of life.”
You were stunned by this revelation. You always thought that she enjoyed staying home and that she’d rather be cooped up on her sofa, watching TV or whatnot. You had been to her apartment before, and it was a cozy and sweet place to live in, according to you.
“Really?”
“Seriously. Sometimes I feel like I’m being suffocated in the four walls of my own house.”
“Why do you never call it a home? I always noticed that.”
“According to me…a home is a place where love and comfort can be found, not just a place to live in.”
You squeezed her hand, sighing quietly.
“Frankly speaking, Y/N, you’ve brightened my life so much in the past 3 months and it’s crazy.”
Your eyes widened, and you took a good look at her face. She wore a tiny smile, and her own eyes had gratefulness and peace swimming in them, but there was something else you didn’t recognize. It was a mixture of fondness, almost, mixed with affection, yet more intense than any way she had looked at you before, and you actually liked it. It made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside — cliché, but still — and you, for some reason, wanted her to stare at you the same way for the rest of your life.
“Yuqi, I- that’s so sweet. I feel the same. Meeting and talking with you is always the highlight of my day.”
You got off the swing, still holding her hand. The sudden movement made her jerk before falling face flat into the sand. Her shriek was cut off by sounds of disgust and gags. Her hand was out of yours at that moment, and watching the whole scene as well as seeing her struggle to recover from the shock and get up was too much for you to handle, and you broke into laughter. She managed to get her face out of the sand and looked up at you, a few grains of sand still in her hair and near the corners of her mouth. She pouted at you, but you couldn’t stop. You squatted down in front of her, laughter reducing into chuckles as you helped her up.
“Y/N, stop laughing at me!”
She whined as she was on her two feet again, trying to get the sand out of her hair and off her face.
“You looked like a clown! Yuqi, Yuqi, I should have recorded that! I’d send it to Soyeon, and then-”
You erupted into fits of giggles again and she held your shoulders in order to shake you violently.
“Stop it, stop it! You’re so mean! You’re lucky we’re best friends!”
“Oh- really, am- I?”
You were laughing so hard you lost your breath, and at this point, you could do nothing but wheeze.
“Y/N…”
She stomped the ground like a five-year-old throwing a tantrum.
“Fine, fine, you big baby.”
She pouted again, but you turned your face to look at the sea.
“Let’s go to the shoreline?”
Her eyes lit up instantly.
“Can we?”
“Of course we can, idiot.”
Your fingers laced with hers again as you glanced at her questioningly. She nodded, and you both started running towards the shore, kicking up sand behind your heels and leaving footprints in the sand. You reached a little away from the water, and you both removed your shoes. She led you nearer to the shore, your feet sinking into the soft, damp sand.
“This night is so beautiful. Thank you for getting me out of there, Y/N.”
“Of course. How long could you stay cooped up in there?”
She suddenly lifted your hand to her mouth before placing a gentle kiss on it, her lips lingering there for a few seconds before letting it return back to your side.
Your body froze, but your brain had never worked faster.
“Yu-Yuqi-”
“Shh.”
“Why did you-?” “Why not?
She grinned at you, although there was a bit of shyness behind it.
“You’re weird. I like it.”
“Of course you do. You should.”
“Oh shut up. Your ego level is higher than your IQ.”
“You love me all the same.”
You did, you truly did.
Looking back up at the sky, you admired the stars and the moon. It seemed to be brighter now, but honestly, you didn’t want the moonlight to shine on you both as if you were the main characters of some romance movie. You wished that it was possible to turn it off and just let the darkness hide you two as you basked in the silent yet sweet moment.
Yuqi’s eyes were focused on you. She took in the sight of your eyes glittering more than the stars, the sight of your lips slightly parted in awe- and all of a sudden, she could look at nothing else. It was just you and her in this world, and she wanted nothing more than that. She was content with being able to be able to hold your hand and stare at you like this, the night enveloping you two as the water lapped at your feet. Her heart was beating faster than it ever did before.
Sure, she had felt like this around you before, but right now? It was at its peak.
The fluttery, dreamy feeling flooding her entire body from head to toe was something she enjoyed. This euphoria, this high- fuck, she wanted to feel it over and over again.
And then it hit her like a lightning bolt.
She was falling for you.
It was like falling but then landing on soft and fluffy clouds.
The excitement of finally figuring it out got to her, and a small lovesick smile formed on her face as she unconsciously squeezed your hand. This didn’t go unnoticed by you, and you reciprocated her gesture.
When she said the night was beautiful, in hindsight, she meant you.
Suddenly, a small ‘ding’ was heard, and Yuqi pursed her lips together, slightly annoyed that this special moment was interrupted. She fished out her phone from her jeans pocket, and her eyes widened as she checked it.
“We should get going. It’s already 12:15.”
“That early?”
“Early?”
“Oh uh- usually when I come here, I stay until 2 a.m…”
You looked at her sheepishly and she shook her head.
“Well, I can’t afford to do that.”
“What, you get paid for sleeping early? Tell me who’s doing it so that I can join in. Free money.”
“I have a morning shift dumbass.”
“Anyway. Our shoes are nearby right?”
She glanced behind before sighing.
“We’ll get sand stuck on our feet.”
You groaned in frustration.
“My nightmare.”
The two of you started running across the sand, trying to get to your shoes as quickly as you could and to touch as little sand as you could. Unfortunately, both of your feet were covered in sand sticking to them. Yuqi seemed to have it worse though.
“How am I going to put these feet in my sexy sneakers?”
“I will beat you up with them if you don’t shut up.”
“But-”
“Take them in your hand. We’ll kick and rub off the clumps on the pavement.”
She rolled her eyes but went along with it. Upon reaching the pavement, you started to stomp your feet against the bricks, creating friction so that the sand stuck would fall off. She copied you, giggling a little.
‘We probably look like maniacs.”
“Of course we do, Yuqi. Especially you.”
“You’re my best friend- that says something.”
“Yeah…best friend.”
Your words were simple, but there were many things left unspoken behind them. You didn’t know whether you wanted her to catch on or not, but it seemed like she didn’t. Shaking your head a bit, you continued stomping.
Once you both were done, you slipped your feet into your shoes. Your head faced hers again, staring silently at her side profile for a few moments.
“So…I guess this is goodbye, Y/N.”
“Just for now.”
“Obviously.”
You felt a surge of confidence flowing through your veins at that very moment, and you knew it’d disappear quickly if you didn’t do anything.
That’s why you did something.
You pressed a small peck on her cheek, before dashing off in the direction of your house.
You did it, and you’d wake up the next morning without knowing her reaction.
She froze on the spot until she could feel her cheeks burn. She smiled a dreamy smile after a few seconds, seeing light at the end of the tunnel.
She had seen you before on Soyeon’s Instagram posts and story, and you were just gorgeous. She had to meet you, somehow, without seeming like a stalker. She asked Soyeon about you, and the girl gave her a few basic facts about you, and then she decided that when you and her friend went out together, she’d ‘accidentally’ come to the same place too.
Fate had other plans, however.
She was staring at you that day in the store, yes. The shock of seeing you, the person she thought about so much was so strong that she couldn’t help it. You were prettier in real life, and she was pretty sure that she saw stars.
She loved whatever she had with you, but was it a crime to want more?
Yuqi could only hope.

Yuqi Girlfriend Headcanons!
Regardless of your gender identity, she’ll most likely play the “boyfriend” role in the relationship
She isn’t super romantic or affectionate all the time, but she definitely makes you feel loved by taking care of you
She’s a big acts of service lover, she likes to help with chores, help you go shopping, cook you dinner, etc.
She’ll also occasionally surprise you with a small gifts whether it by flowers, a stuffed animal, or chocolate!
This girl is super strong, so you never have to worry about opening a tight jar 😤
She also kills bugs for you 💀
Yuqi insists on paying for everything while you’re out, claiming that she makes more than enough money to pay for the two of you
Pretty much the only time you get to really spoil her back is her birthday
You cook all her favorite foods for her, including jokbal, hotpot, pickled radish and sweet zongzi 🥰
You also make sweet zongzi whenever she’s feeling homesick
Her favorite gift you’ve ever given her was a huge stuffed corgi that took up the entire corner of her bedroom 💞
Although, she almost cried when you surprised her with a trip to Beijing to see her family 🥹
They were so grateful that they offered you Yuqi’s hand in marriage 💀 (It was a joke but you were ready to put a ring on it 👀)
She was a bit intimidated to talk to you at first because she found you so beautiful (like she did with Miyeon LOL) but due to her outgoing nature, she was able to get over it and approach you
Thank god she did, because now she couldn’t imagine living without you <3
She likes to be called “cutie” :)
She struggled to find a nickname that fit you for a while, but eventually she decided on “cookie” 🥰
You’ll help her reach things on high shelves because her arms are so short 😭
She’s not very good and realizing when she’s working too hard, so you’ll have to be the one to reign her in
She randomly dances around the house ALL the time
You also catch her rapping various lyrics to herself
She really needs something to fill the silence okay 😤
Yuqi really doesn’t like being alone so even if you guys aren’t around each other, she’ll call you to at least hear your voice and check in on you
She’s told you several times that you can literally call her 24/7 and she’ll always pick up for you ❤️
She’s super goofy, so you’ll never be bored with her around. It also makes her really good at cheering you up when you’re sad :)
Her making you listen to Super Junior all the time (I hate them bc they’re so problematic but who am I to disagree with Queen Yuqi)
Her joking that Ryeowook is her “REAL boyfriend” 💀 You’ll literally have to square up with his poster 👊🏻
You guys love teasing each other and getting on each others’ nerves
You go back and forth annoying each other, but it’s all in good fun (she’s really hot when she’s angry too)
She can get you to anything by asking you in her deep, husky voice (She knows it’s your weakness)
Although, you know her weakness as well… if you call her “noona” or “unni,” she’ll be putty in your hand 👀 She usually hates formalities like that but when it’s from you, it gets her going so fast
She’s super outgoing, so she’ll constantly push you to try new things and move out of your comfort zone
There’s no secret you could ever tell her that she wouldn’t keep. She’s super trustworthy and will take it to the grave
While she’s super patient, she can be a little possessive. Especially if she feels threatened by the person who seems to be interested in you
She never gets mad at you, just at the other person
Her expression alone is enough to scare them off though 😳 She can be super scary when she wants to be!
But you don’t notice anything, and just smile at her innocently 😊
Her stealing your clothes on a regular basis
She’s not super into PDA but she does enjoy holding your hand while you walk places together
Speaking of which, one of her favorite activities to do with you is taking walks together. It eventually becomes a daily habit whenever you guys have time!
Behind closed doors however, she’s the biggest cuddle bug :) She’ll cage you in her arms and not let go of you for HOURS while you watch dramas together
Yuqi is 100% a big spoon!
If you rub her neck, shoulders, and back for her after a long day, she might get down on one knee right then and there 💀
In the end, you’re super lucky to have Yuqi as a girlfriend. She always takes such good care of you, never leaves you feeling lonely, and constantly keeps you entertained. She’s so in love with you and wouldn’t have it any other way 🥰

Faz um hc de você sendo a primeira namorada da Minnie? a descoberta da bissexualidade é um momento mágico pra mim
───── 𓏲╰ ᰔᩚ ·# [🍥] : MINNIE
você sempre achou ela bonita. Quer dizer, como não achar, né? Os olhinhos grandes, os lábios desenhados, a franjinha que caiu como uma luva de tanto que combinou na primeira vez em que cortou, a voz doce, o seu de humor, o jeito que fala, a simpatia, a... Tudo. Simplesmente, tudo;
Primeiro, achou que a visse como uma modelo, alguém para se espelhar, uma amiga saudável pra se ter por perto. Até que ela começou a namorar, e você não olhava para o casal com os mesmos olhos. Não é que quisesse ser como ela, queria mesmo é estar com ela;
Ainda, não admitia em voz alta para si mesma. É muita confusão para um cérebro só, quis até se afastar totalmente, ignorá-la. Talvez fosse uma alternativa mais fácil, já que a mente girava em torno da garota tailandesa;
Mas que bom que não fez isso, não? Que bom que permaneceu por perto, embora seu coração se incomodasse toda vez em que a via beijando o cara. Que bom que, mais tarde, aceitou sair pra beber com ela, só as duas, umas semanas depois que o relacionamento de MINNIE terminou sem muitas explicações;
Diferente do esperado, o ex dela não foi o assunto. Nem tocaram no nome dele. A sua vida, o seu jeito, a vida dela, o jeito dela foram os tópicos recorrentes. Era tão bom descobrir coisas em comum, né? Te fazia sentir mais próxima dela, física e mentalmente;
Dali, do bar, porque estava muito bêbada, ela vai pra sua casa mesmo. Uma noite, só pra não passar perigo na rua. Nada demais, né? Dorme na sua cama, divide o cobertor contigo e deita do seu ladinho, uma olhando pra outra e rindo. Rindo sem motivo, só de fazer contado visual. Você é muito bonita, a frase clássica é dita baixinho, num sussurro docinho, faz seu coração disparar. Você é mais, a sua resposta vem no mesmo tom, arranca uma risadinha dela;
O rosto tão pertinho do seu, o cheiro do sabonete de flores, porra, tudo foi se somando, uma coisa levando a outra. Quando os lábios dela tocam no seu, é como se o mundo parasse por um segundinho. Deixa ela segurar na sua nuca, a perna ser jogada por cima do seu quadril. O espaço, que já era curto, entre vocês desaparecer;
Ao se afastarem, o sorriso é inevitável. Mas viram cada uma pra um lado. Silêncio. O seu coração pesa. A consciência pesa;
Dorme bem, tá?, um beijinho é deixado na sua bochecha, o braço te envolve por trás. E o coração se aquece, o silêncio não te faz ficar remoendo nada.

WINTER
cw: HUGE ANGST, one-sided love, BIG BAD YEARNING, nobara is a sapphic mess, internalised homophobia, yutamaki, nobamaki, timeskip
note: this is an au where nobody died and they made it to graduation and adult life.
"the promise I made myself to forget you, sways right away with the wind" - 寒(Alone in Winter), G-IDLE
“hi maki senpai, this might sound a little bit weird but i swear this is just a farewell letter. ALSO NOT LIKE THAT!!! not at all, but you know you are graduating and yes, it’s THAT kind of farewell. anyway, i am sorry i am not good with words so no poetics flowery words, just what’s on my mind.
maki senpai, do you remember that night when i went to your dorm? and cried about how i missed saori a lot? how you tried to soothe me and hugged me and told me what i felt was not weird at all.
you told me it’s not weird to be in love with a girl. you told me it’s as normal as being in love with a boy. you told me love is for everyone and i shouldn’t limit it because of their gender.
coming from the countryside, i have found a lot of things considered taboo there was a lot of bullshit. and some of the so-called traditions were… weird? i don’t know, i was too young after all to think about it. all i cared was about to make saori feel comfortable living there, to play with her and make my friends love her too the way that i do.
ohmygod. i’m so sorry i got sidetracked and retold you everything we talked about that night. okay however back to what i was saying.
dearest maki zen’in, i think i am in love with you. no, i don’t think so— i am sure i am in love with you. nothing else could explain these aches in my chest whenever i see yuta senpai being all blushy around you. nothing else could explain how i just want to keep you in a cosy house to adore you and feed you with all your favourite desserts and just give you the prettiest flowers. oh and of course, those piles of ceramic plates you love so much. i would let you flourish as the little girl in her safe haven— away from the bastards in the zen’in clan. i would worship the path you step on, your steps are so lovely they dropped rose petals like the one on my face. i love you, maki. sorry i can’t write sweet words.
i will never forget the nights when i sneaked into your dorms to cuddle because i couldn’t sleep, the mornings when you were being strict with me for slacking off during trainings and most of all— when you kissed me on the lips to comfort me about saori; telling me it will all be okay and someone will love me the way i deserve to be loved. you bastard, you took my first kiss. but i won’t have it any other way though, i would love to give you everything i have. i also wanted that someone to be you.
for you, you are my red dahlia and i would wait till you bloom to your fullest. i won’t be in your way, senpai. i hope everything comes in your way the way you would like.
p/s: i am sorry i pushed you away that night, i was scared. but i would love to try to be in a relationship, as long as it’s you :)”
nobara stared at the long ass essay in her hands, written using her favourite pen that she would smack itadori for sneaking it away whenever he needed to borrow one. she would never let the ink dry up nor finish as it was a gift from her beloved, maki zen’in.
“fuck, this is so cringe. don’t be weird, just send her a note and wave her goodbye.” she crumpled the paper and tossed it into the corner of her bedroom, where piles of unsent letters were accumulating till it spilled out of the dustbin.
10 years later…
she panted heavily after that full sprint of marathon. the cold, refreshing air of the winter didn't seem to cool down the fire set ablaze in her heart. she didn't get why she felt like this, she felt strangled by plethora of invisible thorns around her neck. she didn't get why she felt like this, her heart sinks deeper than the ocean could measure. but most of all, she didn't get why she felt like this over her senior that she looks up for getting married.
she was sure back then in highschool she was just confused, not sure how to deal with affection poured by the figure she thought she had a crush on, but overtime she got over it after maki graduated. that was not love, she couldn’t be in love with a girl.
but oh god, how torturous it would be to love someone you aren’t supposed to?
slowly, she fell on her knees and looking up at the sky that still cried icy fractals— landing on her warm skin to form droplets that soon combines with her tears. she was so confused— no— she was upset seeing how her angel walked down the aisle with the beaming smile on her face with her— of course— fated lover, yuta okkotsu.
they were written to be together since the start. it had always been maki and yuta, not maki and nobara. stupid girl, she thought as the infinite streams fell down her rosy cheeks.
thus, she made peace with herself by rewinding the very words maki said to her about saori. she was indeed in love— still is, but what there’s to do when she was late by ten years?
oh how she wished, she didn’t outright rejected her— the horror on maki’s face kept repeating on her mind like a broken record over the decade.
how she wished, she had forgotten everything and didn’t catch the smile maki gave her when she saw her at the wedding.
how she wished.

Advent Calendar
Day 13: Jeon Soyeon +18
Warnings: None. It's pretty vanilla
You and Soyeon were roomates but you barely spoke to each other. You always thought she hated you, since she rarely even looked at you. It wasn't a big concern since you liked the peaceful silence anyway.
You hear loud music coming from Soyeon's room and wonder wether or not you should talk to her and ask her to tone it down a little bit. While you're debating what to say her door opens. She looks at you, surprised and smiles softly.
"Did you want something?" She asks crossing her arms. You shake the initial shock and answer. "Just... The music. Could you tone it down?" You ask nicely.
"No" She simply replies. "Anything else?" You hum, trying to digest what she just said. "Why not?" You ask, defiant raising an eyebrow. "I'm working" She explains briefly. You knew she was a song writer and a rapper but you had never heard her play music so loudly.
"Actually" She says chainging her tone. "Could you help me? I need a higher pitched voice for the song" You look at her, completely puzzled. "I don't sing" You explain. "I don't need you to sing" You're even more confused now but ou can't really refuse now that she grabs your hand and drags you inside her room. She closes the door behind you and sits on her bed. You sit on her chair and look at her waitig to see what she wanted you to record.
"Oh" She says getting closer to you, you move your head, avoiding her instintictively. "Wait you have..." She says grabbing the back of your head with her hand. A finger approaches your face, she softly grabs a fallen eye lash and holds it onto her finger. "Done" She says getting rid of it with a smile.
"Thank you" You mumble to yourself. "So what I wanted you to record is this audio" She explains while browsing the audio on her computer. She hands you her headphones and you put them on. She hits play and you can hear clear and loudly a very explicit moan. You can almost feel your skin go from pale to red. You laugh nervously. "I can't do that" You simply reply getting the headphones off.
She chuckles and grabs the headphones from your hands. "It's okay, I understand it can be... embarassing" She says putting the headphones away. "But you should stay though. We barely got to know each other" You nod shyly.
"So, what do you want to know?" You ask her. "Do you have a boyfriend?" She asks, not even getting her eyes off the coputer's screen. "I don't" You reply which is followed by a "And a girlfriend?" You instantly guess she might have seen the Bisexual flag on your room. "Nope" You reply.
"Oh cool. I am bi too" She points out. "I left my girlfriend last week" You look at her expectant of what exactly she expect from this conversation. "I've never had one" You spit out. "A significant other or a girlfriend?" You chuckle. "A girlfriend. I had a girl crush on high school but she didn't like me back"
She looks at you with a shocked expression. "How is that possible? With a girl like you?" You chuckle. "A girl like me?" She hums and sit comfortably on the bed. "Pretty I mean" You blush at her words and she chuckles.
"Have you never been called pretty by a girl?" She asks stroking your thigh. You let out a nervous laugh (saphic panic) "Not really" You say. Her body gets up from the bed. Both of her hands are on your thighs and she gets closer to you. "You're so fucking pretty" She whispers inches apart from your lips. You can't resist giving her a quick and soft smooch on her lips.
She smiles against your lips and kisses you again. This time it's a messy and heated kiss. She grabs your hands and pulls you towards the bed, her body positions itself on top of you, not breaking the kiss for a split second. Her hands keep brushing the sides of your face, caressing them softly, but they quickly slide down your neck towards your sleeveless shirt.
She pulls out the kiss, a string of saliva connects your lips until it falls down, watering your collarbone. "You look so good in this shirt" She whispers. "I couldn't wait to take it off you" Her hand travels down your stomach lifting your shirt slowly until it's off you. You're crabing for the feeling of her lips over yours again. Though his soft and full lips kiss the limits of your bra instead.
You suffocate your moans of anticipation as she passes her tongue along the soft skin of your breast. Her hand undoes your bra, getting it off you soonly after. "Soyeon I've never" You huff trying to explain but she shuts you up, passing her tongue over your nipples. You throw your head back and grip onto the bedsheets.
A soft moan escapes your lips filling the rooms silence. Your body casts heat across the room. You slowly turn your head back to its normal position to look at Soyeon, she has a rather mischievious look on her face, her tongue still playing over your nipple. She moves shortly after tho, leaving awet spot on your breast that seems to attract the coldness that fills the moment.
Chills run through your skin forcing you to gasp when her tongue reaches your other nipple. Her hand cups your other breast, squeezing it softly. When her tongue travels down your body her other hand cups your now lonely breast.
Her tongue traces a wet path along your bust until it reaches the limits of your skirt. This time she doesn't take it off, instead she skips that step and pulls your panties down. You feel a string of your own wetness keeping your cunt and your panties connected for a second. She doesn't make a comment about it, which you appreciate since you're already flustered by the situation.
Her hand lifts your skirt, exposing your naked hips to her face. Two fingers pass along your wetness and then travel all the way to her mouth. "Mmm" She mutters. "You taste so good baby" She comments before burying her face in between your legs.
You feel her tongue pass along your folds, all the way up to your clit, she pauses there for a moment, making circular movements over it. Your hands move on their own, placing themselves on her hair. You push her closer to you, so that you can feel how her wet muscle plays with your sensitive spots.
Your moans only get louder and messier. Her fingers enter you while she keeps sucking your clit nonstop. "I'm close" You manage to let out in between moans. "Cum for me babe" She whispers before moving her tongue fastly over your clit. Her fingers curve inside of you, hitting your g-spot and making it impossible for you to hold your high any longer.
You're loud. Louder than you've ever been. Your whole body is shaking while you still enjoy the feeling of the orgasm brushing over your body. You start calming down slowly, noticing the wet kisses that the girl's been placing on your thighs. "Ready for round two?" She asks with a cocky expression.

can you write a gidle yuqi smut? where yuqi igets jealous because y/n is to “close” with Soyeon and Minnie??
-☺️
too close (song yuqi, smut)
summary: your girlfriend, yuqi, gets jealous after hanging out with your friends and you fuck to prove otherwise to her
warnings: soft!dom!yuqi x bottom!f!reader, couch sex, jealousy, slight hair pulling, eating out (reader receiving)
word count: 671
a/n: i tried to do something different with this but idk 😭
turning to face your girlfriend and instead of seeing a face with a big smile, but seeing an angry expression is unsettling.
you don’t know what you did. all you can think of is that you shut the door after saying goodbye to your friends just now. maybe the door was too loud? but she wouldn’t be that upset.
“huh?” you ask stepping closer to her. she just scoffed and turned her head away from you.
“what, yuqi?” using her name when talking to her wasn’t something you normally did, but her whole attitude was serious so you tried to match that.
"i hate how close you are to them," she states.
taken aback, you let out a breathy sound trying to speak. "what?" you say.
"you're always right next to them when they visit," she made sure to emphasize 'right.'
you thought everything she was saying was profound and kind of dumb as these are your friends she's talking about.
"yeah, i sit next to them? but it's nothing more than that. yuqi are you jealous?" you ask tilting your head.
"no, i just-" she cuts herself off. "i want you to be like that with me," she whispers.
you giggle, you thought her neediness for attention was adorable. "yuqi, you're my girlfriend. soyeon and minnie are my friends, i can be more than like that with you," you say attempting to reassure her.
she looks down, with a face that only could read of dissatisfaction. closer, you move to reach out to her face and comfortingly kiss her. "i promise you. i'm sorry i made you feel that way."
she takes your hand and kisses you back, this time more eagerly. "how much more than that?" she pulls back for a second to say. you smirk, stomaching her flirtatious joke.
both of your lips find their way to each other's once more attaching desperately. her hands slip down your pants, she's moving quickly. little foreplay, just two needy girlfriends.
following this, you remove her outfit as well. you both stumble back onto the same couch soyeon and minnie were sat on minutes prior.
her hands grab onto your thighs gently and she pushes you up the couch so you could lie in a comfortable yet easy way for her to access your cunt.
"tell me if its too much," she groans with that raspy, deep voice she has. you nod, watching as her eyes disappear by what you could see of your lower half.
all you can feel now is the tip of her tongue flicking at the most sensitive outlines of your pink pussy. her motions catch you off guard, and you let whimpers slip out. "more," you whine.
she sticks her tongue farther into you, and you feel every curl she makes. you find your hand slipping to grip onto her hair, wishing for her to go even deeper.
her mouth sucks onto your folds, and you see her look up at you with the same amorous aura in her eyes. she's no longer being light with you, she just as horny to have you as you are to have her.
she gives you small breaks to breathe from your constant moaning by kissing your thighs. "feels okay?" she asks.
"it feels really good," you whimper. she smirks, bringing her mouth back to your folds to continue giving you pleasure.
the feeling of her sucking down onto you makes you moan nosily. you have to grip onto the sofa to resist from shaking. "please," you moan wretchedly.
she gives you what you want, and she quickens the pace of her tongue, feeling little drops of your liquids soak into her mouth.
yuqi groans into the sensation, not letting anything leak out of her mouth and go to waste. "you taste beautiful, y/n," she smiles licking a little off her lips.
you smile back instinctively, and sit up so you can pull her closer to kiss her. "you can always do more to me than they can."

Dating Minnie From [G] I-DLE Would Include:
• Minnie met you for the first time when she sat in a small cozy café that sold green tea. She admired you when you read a book with a mug of green tea on the table. Her cheeks flushed red when you caught her staring. After a while she decided to join you which caused a beautiful relationship and friendship to blossom slowly.
• You asked her out on a date after being friends for a few months.
•Minnie often takes the lead in your relationship and friendship. Mostly in your awkward and obvious moments. Which get caused by your shy introvert personality.
•You would pout with puppy eyes when she wasn't around you. You make grabby hands and cuddle with her when one of you feels bad about something. Which is very often caused by her
missing dates due at work as an idol.
•Minnie loves to photograph. You supported her hobbies with your whole heart. Sometimes you buy her good quality cameras or model for her.
•You tried to go at as many concerts and tours as possible for [G] i-dle since you wanted to support the love of your life and your best friends.
•Minnie buy's you every merchandise and blushes when you wear merchandise with her name or face on it. She knows you look absolutely glorious in the merchandise.
•You go shopping with her whenever you go on a vacation or when you go on tour with them. If you can't join her on tour then she buys you reminders.
•Minnie squealed loudly when you brought two tickets for Troye Sivan concert. Since you knew how she loves the celebrity. Let's just say you both had the time of your lives. Especially Minnie who had no voice and sore muscles after the concert.
•You ask her to marry her in the middle of [G] i-dle concert. Her bandmates cried and recorded everything with their phone's. Especially the staff. She cried and said three times 'Yes.'
•Minnie couldn't wait to marry in the night time on the beach in the moonlight. That's her magical dream wedding.
•You learn how to play piano since Minnie is a good teacher. Every touch felt magical in your opinion. The first song you learned on piano was one last time by Ariana Grande.
•Minnie married you at night time on the beach in the moonlight. You looked absolutely glorious in one of the most beautiful white dresses. Everyone cried and laughed at the wedding. Especially at the reception when stories about lives got told. Her bandmates, blackpink, Got7 and Sorn definitely embarrassed her with their stories about younger Minnie.
•You spent the honeymoon in Bora Bora, Rom, Venedig, Bangkok, Paris and Barcelona for a few weeks. Let's just say you had so much fun that you both didn't wanna go back at South Korea.
•Minnie's family loved you like a family member by DNA. Her brother's always told you that you are the best sister in law. They told Minnie not to hurt you. Since you couldn't hurt a fly in their opinions.
•You wake her up with slow kisses that change into open butterfly kisses. When she is awake you attack her whole face with kisses. Your hands would roam her side’s under the nightwear. From her rib cage’s to the hips and thighs. Sweet words would shared and she would pull you closer into her body before you could get off the queen sized bed.

✛˳𝅄•: Bendita seja
"Oh aquela mulher... Aquela bela e hipnotizante mulher de olhos vermelhos que você conheceu naquele bar. Por ela, seria capaz de descer até mesmo ao inferno."
-> | Yuqi x fem!reader | Sobrenatural, sáfico | W.C: 917 |

Diamond In The Rough
#4 of the 1818 series, Soojin of G-idle/Soloist
Warning: NOT AN ACTUAL STORY, THIS IS JUST A IDEA OF MINE. This is a work of fiction with nothing to do with the idol's actual life. I do like some feedback. If you ever feel like "Hey this is very offensive." do tell me.
Pairing: Soojin of (G)-idle 😭 x male! Oc
Summary: Soojin had grown up with 3 elder sisters who had always garnered attention. Men of the ton had always wanted the daughters from the house of Diamond. Just like their family name, the daughters were all Diamonds of their first season out.
The Queen had always chosen the one who stood out to her. Soojin was hurt when it was found out that another had taken the spot as Diamond. She then meets a man who together tries to convince the Queen to bring down the Title of the Diamond.
Word Count: 2.9k Words
A/N: Hi hi everyone. I got inspiration from Bridgerton. These were ideas I had since 2022 and I would like someone to write a story based on this lol. I honestly didn't think I would write it the way I did. But I also think this was the right direction. I initially just followed Bridgerton and the concept of having a diamond of the season but when I had this idea, I just had to write it.

“Soojin, remember to bow and smile, be graceful,” her eldest sister reminded her, adjusting her elaborate gown.
“Don’t forget to keep your chin up,” another sister added, her tone both encouraging and critical. “You want to make a good impression.”
The third sister said, “And try not to stand too close to the other ladies. They might overshadow you.”
It was time for the royal ball, the very first event of the season. The grand hall shimmered with crystal chandeliers and the soft glow of candlelight. Gaily dressed couples twirled across the polished floor, laughter and music filling the air.
As she entered, Soojin’s heart raced. This was where the Queen would seek her diamond of the season. She felt the weight of her family’s expectations pressing down on her, but she forced herself to breathe deeply, trying to embrace the moment.
“Just be yourself,” she whispered to herself, even as the whispers of her sisters echoed in her mind.
As she approached the center of the ballroom, she caught sight of the Queen, regal and poised, surveying the crowd with keen eyes. Soojin squared her shoulders, determined to find her place in a world that seemed intent on defining her by her lineage.
Soojin felt her heart pound as she stepped forward, next in line. She bowed deeply before the royal Majesty, her hair cascading elegantly over her shoulders.
Queen Kiyeon smiled, the warmth of her expression cutting through Soojin’s nerves.
Standing beside the Queen, her right-hand man leaned in and said, “That’s Seo Soojin, from the House of Diamond. You have a record of choosing them, my Queen.”
“Oh,” the Queen replied, her interest piqued.
“Well then,” she said, her smile widening as she turned her attention back to Soojin.
At that moment, all Soojin could do was return the smile, though it felt shaky. She quickly glanced over to her mother, who stood nearby, her eyes filled with pride and a hint of anxiety.
As the music swelled around them, Soojin fought to steady her breath, knowing this was just the beginning of her journey in the spotlight.
-
“The Diamond of the Season is…” The Queen’s voice rang out, commanding the attention of the entire ballroom.
Soojin held her breath, a mix of anticipation and dread swirling within her.
“Kang Kyeri.”
A wave of applause filled the room as Kyeri stepped forward, radiant in her gown, a triumphant smile on her face. Soojin’s heart sank, her sisters’ expectations pressing heavily upon her.
As the applause echoed, Soojin smiled, masking her disappointment. She caught a glimpse of her mother, whose expression mirrored her own: proud yet apprehensive.
Kyeri basked in the attention while Soojin felt like a shadow in her wake.
As the crowd celebrated the new diamond, Soojin took a step back, she felt a wave of attention shift toward her. A group of young men, drawn by the allure of the new diamond, began to approach, their eyes gleaming with ambition. They were eager to curry favour, each hoping to win her hand as the Queen’s chosen.
“Soojin, what happened?” her mother said, her voice sharp with disappointment as she stepped closer. The disapproval in her gaze cut through Soojin.
“I—I don’t know,” Soojin stammered. “I guess it wasn’t my turn.”
“Not your turn?” her mother snapped, frustration bubbling over. “You’ve allowed this opportunity to slip away without even trying! You now have no chance. The Queen has decided that the girl is the diamond. Great job tarnishing our family’s name!”
Soojin’s heart sank, the weight of her mother’s words pressing down on her. She could feel the heat rising in her cheeks, a mix of shame and anger.
“Mother, I—”
“Do not ‘mother’ me!” her mother interrupted, eyes blazing. “You must understand the importance of this season. You cannot simply fade into the background. You have a legacy to uphold!”
Soojin clenched her fists, battling the urge to retreat further into herself. “Well, mother it is not my fault that Queen Kiyeon didn't choose me to be the Diamond!”
Her mother sighed, disappointment etched on her face. “It is.”
“Well maybe she just got bored of constantly seeing a flapping replica every year, why don't you think of that?” Soojin snapped
Feeling the weight of her mother’s words and the expectations bearing down on her, Soojin turned on her heel and walked briskly away from the ballroom. The laughter and music faded behind her as she made her way to a quieter corridor, where the opulence of the event felt distant and muted.
Finding a secluded garden, she leaned against the cool wall, trying to steady her racing heart. The frustration of the evening washed over her, leaving her feeling small and unheard.
In a moment of release, she let out a scream, the sound echoing in the space until she felt a little lighter.
As she caught her breath, she suddenly noticed a figure emerging from the shadows—a man standing just a few feet away. She gasped, startled by his presence. He was tall, with a confident posture and an inquisitive gaze that seemed to pierce through the façade she had carefully crafted.
“Are you all right, my lady?” he asked, his voice gentle yet firm.
“I mean, you saw what I just pulled, right? I’m not alright,” Soojin replied, a mix of sarcasm and vulnerability lacing her words.
He chuckled softly, a hint of warmth in his expression. “You screamed in a castle, even the quietest place isn’t reserved, so—”
“Who screamed?” came a voice as the castle guards entered, their presence abrupt and imposing
Soojin’s eyes widened in alarm as she recognized the voice. It was none other than Princess Kiara, the Captain of the Guard.
“I swore I heard it coming from here?” Kiara said, scanning the alcove.
“Hide!” Soojin whispered urgently, grabbing the man’s arm and pulling him into a shadowed corner just as the guards approached.
They pressed against the wall, hearts pounding, barely daring to breathe. Soojin’s heart raced—not just from fear, but from the closeness of the stranger beside her.
“Are you always this dramatic?” he whispered, a teasing lilt in his voice.
“Shh!” she hissed, trying to suppress a grin.
As the guards continued their search, Kiara raised an eyebrow, peering into the alcove. “Look around and search the whole place. Check if anyone is in trouble,” she commanded,
The guards nodded and spread out, but the pair remained hidden, inches apart, exchanging glances that sparkled with mischief.
“Do you think they’ll find us?” Soojin whispered, her breath coming out in soft puffs.
“Not if we stay quiet,” he replied, a playful glint in his eye. “And if they do, I’ll take the blame.”
Soojin couldn’t help but smile. “You’d do that for a stranger?”
“Perhaps you’re not just a stranger anymore,” he said, leaning slightly closer, their faces inches apart
Just then, Kiara stepped back, satisfied that the alcove was empty. “All clear!” she announced before turning to leave with her guards.
Once the coast was clear, Soojin let out a breath she hadn’t realized she was holding. “That was close!”
The man grinned, his eyes twinkling. “Close indeed, Care for a proper introduction now?”
“Oh, um,” Soojin backed away but feeling the walls hitting her back, stuttered, feeling a rush of heat to her cheeks.
“I’m Seo Soojin,” she finally managed to say, her voice steadier than she felt.
“I’ve heard of you, from the House of Diamond, right? You made your season’s debut today,” he replied, a smile playing at the corners of his lips.
“Indeed, and who might you be?” Soojin asked, curiosity piqued.
“I’m Hanbin— Lee Hanbin Earl of Garnet.”
“Well then, may I ask why you screamed earlier?” he inquired, a playful tilt to his voice.
Soojin’s cheeks flushed deeper. “I was just… expressing my frustration. The pressure of this evening is quite overwhelming.”
“Ah, I see. A moment of emotional release, then?” he teased gently. “Quite brave. Most would keep their feelings bottled up.”
She felt a smile tugging at her lips. “Brave, or reckless?”
“Perhaps a bit of both,” he replied, leaning casually against the wall. “But isn’t that what makes life interesting? Taking risks?”
“It’s easier for a man,” she countered. “If I went to the Queen and asked why I wasn’t chosen as the Diamond, I’d be painted as the villain.”
“No offence, but if you did say that, you would be,” he agreed, a teasing glint in his eyes.
Soojin sighed, her shoulders slumping. “Why is there only one Diamond? Aren’t we all diamonds in our own right? With just a little pressure, we could all become the beauty that is a diamond.”
Hanbin regarded her thoughtfully, a hint of admiration in his gaze. “You have a point. It seems so unplanned, doesn’t it? Like a game rigged to favour the few while dismissing the many.”
“Exactly!” she exclaimed, her passion igniting. “It’s like the Queen seeks a singular perfection, while the rest of us are left to fade into the background.”
Hanbin straightened, “Maybe the Queen had her reasons, she did start this whole thing 6 years ago, what was her reason?”
“Wanna find out?” He asked with a smirk in his face
-
“Why did I agree to this?” She cries not literally
“My family is currently disappointed in me for not being the last diamond of the family imagine how they'd react if they found out about what we're doing?!”
“How bad could it be?” He said
“Well for once me you, a man and woman together alone we'd be forced to marry?! Sneaking in the Castle? Trying to figure out the Queen’s motive?!” She freaks out
“Number one, I wouldn't mind that two we were invited into the castle for the royal ball, we aren't sneaking in and three, isn't finding out the queen’s motive exhilarating!”
“No, No, No!” Soojin shakes her head
Hanbin grins at the girl he had just met “You know you can back out right? The Queen thinks you aren't diamond enough but remember you have a damn Diamond in your name.”
He gets closer, whispering in her ear “Unless you marry me, you'll be a Garnet.”
She hits him in the shoulder and rolls her eyes “Let's find the diamond thief.”
-
Peeking through the partially open door, they saw Queen Kiyeon seated on a plush chair, a radiant smile on her face. Her daughter, a lively five-year-old with sparkling eyes and bouncing curls, played with a small doll dressed in a miniature gown.
“Do you think she’ll be the next diamond, Mama?” the little girl asked, holding the doll up proudly.
Queen Kiyeon laughed softly, brushing her daughter’s hair back. “Don’t Know, she needs to be of age.”
Just then, Prince Jeno entered the room, a playful grin on his face. “What’s this about diamonds? Are we discussing jewellery again?” He leaned down to his daughter, winking. “I prefer the ones that sparkle in the sun.”
Soojin felt a pang of recognition. Here were the royal members, the ones who set rules in the country of Ophelia.
“Why don’t you tell us what makes you special?” the Queen encouraged.
The little girl thought for a moment, her face scrunching in concentration. “I can make everyone laugh! And I share my toys!” She beamed, clearly proud of her answer.
Prince Jeno nodded enthusiastically. “You’ll be the diamond of the season next year, Leia.”
Just then, the little girl caught a glimpse of them through the crack in the door. “Mama Papa, look! There are shadows!” she exclaimed, pointing.
Queen Kiyeon turned, her expression shifting from warmth to on guard. “Who’s there?” She says if a knife she has on hand. A weapon the Queen always carries in case.
The Prince protects his daughter
Soojin and Hanbin froze, hearts racing. They exchanged panicked glances, unsure whether to reveal themselves or retreat.
“Show yourself.”
Hanbin stepped back slightly, ready to pull Soojin with him. “We should go,” he whispered urgently.
But Soojin hesitated, feeling a pull to stay. “Wait. What if we could talk to them? Maybe they’d understand.”
Before Hanbin could respond, Queen Kiyeon stood and walked toward the door, curiosity etched on her face. Soojin quickly grabbed Hanbin’s arm, whispering, “We can’t run now.”
As the door opened, Queen Kiyeon paused, her eyes widening in recognition. “Ah, it’s Seo Soojin! I saw you at the Ball today.”
“Yes, Your Majesty,” Soojin replied, trying to maintain her composure despite her racing heart.
“Oh?” the Prince questioned, raising an eyebrow. “Is there a reason why you two were hiding?”
Soojin took a deep breath, feeling the weight of their scrutiny. “W-why didn’t you choose me as the Diamond?” she blurted out, her voice shaky but resolute.
Kiyeon’s expression shifted, a mix of surprise and understanding. “That’s quite a bold question to ask, my dear.”
“Bold, yes,” Hanbin chimed in, “but also very relevant. She deserves to know why the title is bestowed upon one and not another.”
The Queen regarded Soojin thoughtfully. “You have passion, I’ll give you that. But being a diamond is not merely about beauty; it’s about presence, charisma, and the ability to shine in a crowd?”
Soojin felt a spark of defiance. “Isn’t it possible to shine in ways that don’t conform to your expectations? We are all Diamonds in our own ways.”
The Prince exchanged glances with Kiyeon, a flicker of admiration crossing his face. “Perhaps the Queen could consider broadening her criteria.”
“No, my apologies Your Highness,” She bowed to the prince “You shouldn't broaden the criteria, I think…,” She took a deep breath, gathering the courage to spill
“I think you should take it down,”
“And why?”
“It seems to have morphed into something that creates more pressure than joy.”
“And when you say ‘girls,’ I think you mean ‘girl.’ Have you seen the way some of the mothers are treating their daughters?” Soojin continued, feeling the momentum building. “They push them to conform, to fit into a mould just to impress you, It’s damaging, any diamond is a diamond, even if there is a crack,”
Hanbin listened intently, his heart swelling with admiration. There was a spark in Soojin’s eyes as she spoke, a passion that ignited something within him. He felt grateful for the chance encounter that led him to hear her scream earlier—if he hadn’t, he might never have witnessed this moment of raw honesty and strength.
Queen Kiyeon looks at her husband and then at the two of them “I didn’t know that my desire for celebration had such an impact. I wanted to inspire, to showcase the brilliance of young women, but I never intended to create this pressure.”
“Well, you did,” Soojin looks down
“Soojin,” The queen calls “The Sapphires will be hosting a ball tomorrow, Why don't you announce the abolishment of the Title?”
Soojin looks at Hanbin and then to the Queen “Your Majesty, me? W-why?”
“You are the reason why, you showed me that every girl, no, everyone is a diamond in their own right, no one is less of a diamond.”
“Soojin, if you can show the Queen then I’m sure you can show everyone else, and that includes your family.”
-
Later, as they stepped away from the royal chambers, Soojin turned to Hanbin, still processing what had just happened. “I can’t believe we just did that.”
“Yeah—what you did was amazing,” he said, a look of genuine admiration on his face.
“Thanks,” she replied, feeling a warmth spread through her. “And if I didn’t meet you, the royals wouldn’t have seen the effects.”
Hanbin smiled, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “So, will you pen my name on your dance card for tomorrow?”
Soojin raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile creeping onto her lips. “In the most important one of all.”
Just then, her eldest sister, elegant and poised, approached, her expression shifting from relief to concern. “My goodness, Soojin! Where were you?? We were all looking for you!” Her gaze then fell on Hanbin, a curious look crossing her face. “And who is this? And why were you two alone??”
Soojin’s heart raced. “Oh, um… this is Hanbin, the Earl of Garnet,” she stammered, hoping the title would lend some legitimacy to their encounter. “We were just… discussing things.”
Her sister raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. “Discussing things? Alone?” She shot a glance back at Hanbin, her tone softening. “You must be careful, Soojin. Rumors travel fast in the ton.”
Hanbin stepped forward, a playful grin on his face. “I assure you, my lady, our conversation was entirely innocent.”
Soojin couldn’t help but laugh, the tension easing slightly. “Yes, very innocent.”
Her sister crossed her arms, a knowing smile playing on her lips. “Is it? Well, make sure you're joining us for the next ball, Hanbin. We wouldn’t want you to steal Soojin away too soon.”
Hanbin chuckled, glancing at Soojin. “I wouldn’t dream of it—unless she wants me to.”
Soojin felt a rush of warmth at his words, but before she could respond, her sister interjected, “Let’s head back before anyone else notices you’re gone. We wouldn’t want to give them any more reason to gossip.”
As they walked back, Soojin stole a glance at Hanbin as he walked to the other side, her mind racing with possibilities. What had started as a simple encounter had turned into something far more thrilling, and she couldn’t shake the feeling that their story was just beginning.

a/n: this is my first work on this site, hope it’s as enjoyable to read as it was to write!
PAST
You ran down the dirt path that led to a little clearing in a field of daisies. Sitting on your usual picnic blanket, was your best friend since childhood, Cho Miyeon. You finally reached her, and you let your hands rest on your knees as you try to catch your breath. She looked at you in this state with a slight grin, and you were anticipat-
“Did I take your breath away now?”
“Mi, you’re too narcissistic.”
But then again, she was right.
Every time you saw her, everything else seemed to disappear. You got this rush of adrenaline, these butterflies, this feeling you could get with no one else. To say that it was just a minor crush would be lying. She was the only one who mattered, you felt, and to some extent, it wasn’t just a delusion, it was true.
“Y/N, Y/N! I have an idea!”
“Go on.”
“What if we make daisy chains?”
“Well…I’m not the most talented at that.”
“It’s fine. I’ll make them for us.”
“You sure? I’d feel bad letting you do everything.”
She turned to face you, her grin shifting into a small smile.
“I’ve already told you, Y/N. I’d do anything for you. I’d move mountains for you, if I had to.”
“Do it then. Let me see if your cheesy ass would actually move a mountain.”
“Y/N! You’re ruining the sentiment!”
You chuckled as Miyeon started pouting.
“Sorry, sorry.”
She got up and went to pick daisies, and you promptly followed her. Together, you looked for the best, whitest daisies. She took the flowers and spread them over the picnic blanket before starting to make daisy chains. You watched intently, her fingers made quick work and in almost no time, she finished two pretty chains, one for her and one for you.
“Are these good?”
“No. They’re amazing.”
“Mmm? Who’s being cheesy now?”
“I’m being truthful. There’s a difference.”
“Yeah, yeah, sure.”
She glanced around the field, breathing in a bit, before spotting two dandelions.
“Y/N, do you want to make a wish on a dandelion?”
“It’s just a silly superstition, Mi.”
“You never know!”
You shook your head in defeat. Miyeon’s enthusiasm was too contagious, and you couldn’t say no.
“Fine. Only because you said so.”
She grinned excitedly at you. She took both of the dandelions and carefully handed one to you, making sure that the feathery bits didn’t fly away yet.
“Y/N, did you know that the bits that fly away are called pappus?”
“That’s…interesting?”
“Right? Until now I always used to call them flying or feathery bits.”
“I know.”
You looked at each other and chuckled. Miyeon looked at the dandelion in her hand, and spun it around slightly.
“Mi, what’s your wish?”
She looked at you with wide eyes.
“Y/N, you’re not supposed to tell your wish! That would ruin the magic and the wish won’t come true!”
You scratched your head in confusion. “What…? Isn’t that for birthdays?” “It applies to dandelion wishing too.”
“Curiosity killed the cat then, if you really can’t tell me.”
Miyeon turned to face you again, and she lightly booped your nose with her finger.
“But satisfaction brought it back. I’ll tell you my wish…when it comes true.”
You whined in annoyance.
“Oh come on! That could easily be never!”
She laughed a little at you.
“Fine. In ten years?”
“We could be dead by then!”
“Five years. That’s the minimum.”
She had a serious look on her face and you knew that there was no budging from there. You sighed in defeat.
“No other compromise I can get, huh?” “Nope.”
You stared into her eyes a little longer than best friends would, but neither of you realized it. A lot of things were normal between you both. She turned back to her dandelion. “Y/N, let’s blow the dandelions? They might fly away otherwise.”
“Sure, that’s better than a blowjob.”
Her head whipped to look at you again. Her glossy back hair flopping around her face.
“Y/N. Y/N, that was extremely out of pocket, you unholy little prick.”
She smacked your forehead, leaving a slightly red mark where she hit you.
“Ouch! That was unnecessary!”
“It’s unnecessary just like what you said, my sweet Y/N!”
You blushed a little, which was noticed by her. She presumed that it was because you were embarrassed. No, you were blushing because of the last three words she said.
‘My sweet Y/N.’
Oh, how you wished to be exactly that.
“Alright, no more delays. Let’s blow them together on the count of three.”
“Whatever you say.”
“Three…two…one!”
You blew on the dandelions at the same time, and watched as the pappus flew away delicately in the gentle breeze.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?”
“Not as beautiful as you, Y/N."
You blushed yet again. She poked your cheek and smiled brightly.
“Mi! You can’t just flirt like that!”
“Why not? Can’t I do anything with my Y/N?”
“Anything?”
“Y/N! Why are you this-”
“This what? Amazing? Spectacular?”
“Unholy.”
You grinned at her, before nudging her shoulder.
“That’s why you love me.”
Little did you know, she very much did.
6 MONTHS LATER
Miyeon had called you to the daisy field again. It was usual for you to meet up there from time to time, at least every month, but she seemed to be a bit more serious about this now. She stood at your usual spot, but there were no dandelions this time around. She was facing your direction, arms behind her back, lips pursed together. When she saw you, she smiled, but it looked forced and almost…sad. You immediately knew something was wrong. You went up to her and stood in front of the girl on the soft, squishy ground. Your eyes met hers and you frowned slightly.
“Mi, what’s bothering you?”
She sighed, and you could feel your heart sink a little. Miyeon was usually so bubbly and cheerful, and you had rarely seen her glum or sad in all the years you knew her.
“Y/N, I…I’m moving.”
You stared into her almond eyes, blinking thrice before registering her statement.
Moving.
“Wait, wait- moving as in moving house or…?”
“Moving states. I’m moving to Seoul, and it’s pretty far from here…”
“So I can’t see you again? When are you going? Please tell me you have at least a month or so left? We-we had so many plans Mi-“
She placed her finger on your lips, cutting you off.
“Y/N, I’m going next week. This…might as well be our last meeting, because I’ll be too busy packing and running errands…you get the gist.”
She stared at you hesitantly, waiting for your reaction.
“When- when- are you coming back?”
“I-I really don’t know.”
Her voice sounded small and broken. You stared at her in disbelief.
“You’re going for like- forever in a week, and you only care to tell me now?! Why couldn’t you tell me earlier? We could’ve done so much if I knew we had a time limit of sorts! Why, Mi? Why?”
She placed one of her hands on your shoulders, steadying you.
“I’m so, so, so sorry Y/N, but honestly? You’d be too sentimental about it. Every time we’d meet up, I can see you reminding me about the ‘dreaded day’, and I don’t want that. Do you see my point, my Y/N?”
You stayed silent for a while, before letting out a heavy breath and nodding in agreement.
“Yeah, I see your point, Mi. I get it. I just- I’ll miss you so much, I-I don’t even know where to start. It’s hard, really hard to imagine this place without you. All our usual places, this daisy field…it’ll all feel so empty.”
She wrapped her arms around you, enveloping you in a warm, comforting hug. You hugged her back as you buried your head in her shoulder. There was silence for a while before you heard a few sniffles from her.
“I-I’ll miss you too, Y/N. Dearly. More than you could ever imagine. Like- it’s too hard to put in words…but it feels like I’m losing my world.
“Mi…”
You trailed off, fearing that your voice would crack if you spoke anymore and you’d let the floodgates open. You were doing your best to remain composed and to keep your shit together.
“I know, Y/N. I know. I’ll miss you. I feel guilty about everything we haven’t done yet, but I am deeply, truly grateful for all the memories we made together, even if they were bad ones.”
As she spoke, you mentally kicked yourself for not confessing to her. You weren’t in the mindset to do it now, and there would be no opportunities later. Now, you’d have to live possibly the rest of your life without knowing whether she felt the same way. Damn it, you were such a coward.
She suddenly pulled away and hid her hands behind her back again.
“Y/N, I have a little something for you. It’s not much, but I hope you like it.”
She brought her arms in front of her, revealing a baby pink rose in full bloom.
“So that’s what was poking my back. Boom, mystery solved.”
“Hey, say something about my gift! Don’t you like it?”
You stared at her with a serious face.
“No, I don’t.”
Her face fell and her insides twisted around a bit until she saw your own face break into a sweet smile.
“I love it.”
She gave it to you in relieved happiness.
“Thank God. It took me a while to find it.”
You twirled it around in your hand, careful not to prick yourself on the thorns.
“You know something Y/N?”
“No, I don’t.”
You replied back simply, not taking your eyes off the rose.
“Well, let me tell you. To me, you’re like a rose among the daisies.”
This remark made you look at her face in utter confusion.
“What does that mean?”
“Just like this rose, you have beautiful petals and sharp thorns, yet I love it all the same.
This rose is unique among all these daisies, and it stands out. You’re just like that. In this world, you stand out to me, and you’re extremely special to my heart.”
You stood there in shock, heat rushing up to your cheeks.
“Miyeon, I- that’s so…poetic of you.”
“I know right? I should become a poet!”
You rolled your eyes in playful annoyance.
“Sure, sure. Remember me when you’re famous.”
She held your free hand in hers.
“Y/N, I could never forget you.”
Her eyes welled up with tears.
“Just- just please. Promise me you’ll do the same.”
You smiled sadly at her.
“That’s a promise I can keep very easily.”
PRESENT
You were walking in the old, familiar daisy field. It felt so empty and dull without Miyeon. It just didn’t feel the way it used to.
You had bought a new, similar pink rose when the one Miyeon got you tried out. After that, it became necessary for you to replace the rose whenever it wilted. You didn’t have to, of course, but you wanted to keep that memory of her alive. Not like it was possible for you to forget her, considering that she made such a big impact on your life, but still.
As if it was muscle memory, your feet instinctively walked to the nostalgic clearing, expecting no one else there. Your expectations were wrong, and you saw a stunning, drop dead gorgeous blonde woman sitting on a rather familiar picnic blanket. You took a glance at the woman’s face as her eyes were closed. You could connect her to someone very fresh in your memory, and your stomach started doing somersaults.
You didn’t want to get your hopes up, but it was worth a shot.
“Mi…yeon? Cho Miyeon?”
Her eyes shot open at her name being called, before widening at seeing your face. She got up and ran over to you to hug you tightly, as if she never wanted to let you go.
“Y/N! My Y/N!”
You wrapped your arms around her as well, rocking her from side to side slightly.
“Yeah, your Y/N. When did you get back?”
She moved back before she rested her hands on your shoulders.
“Just yesterday, actually. I was planning on going over to your house to see you again, but
oh, you’re already here, standing in front of me! This- it’s such a wonderful- maybe coincidental, but wonderful nonetheless- surprise!”
“Mi, you’ve only gotten prettier. Like- I was star-struck seeing you.”
Her cheeks turned red as she smiled shyly at you. The old nickname made her feel safe
and warm, as if she was returning to her home after years.
Technically, that was exactly what was happening.
“Come on, let’s sit down.”
She went and sat down on the picnic blanket, and patted the spot next to her. You sat
there, and looked at the blanket curiously.
“You still have this?”
“Yep. It’s not in bad condition, why throw it?”
“Makes sense.”
You both started chatting animatedly, catching up on all the drama and events that happened to both of you during the years you were apart. After a while, you simply sat next to each other, staring at the setting sun and the sky, which was all hues of pinks, blues, oranges and yellows, as if a giant paintbrush had been jiggled into a jar of water. Miyeon’s right hand suddenly held your left hand, and you squeezed it a little, smiling to yourself.
The setting was perfect, almost romantic. A sudden surge of confidence rushed through you, and at that moment, you knew what you had to do. This bravery wouldn’t come back so easily, and it was now or never.
You turned to the girl next to you.
“Hey, Mi? I have something to confess…”
She turned to face you.
“Hm? What is it, Y/N?”
You took a deep breath, trying to relax. You didn’t have to be scared. Even if she did reject you, she’d be sweet about it and would help you until you got over her. Only question was, would you be able to handle it?
“I…I have a crush on you. I’ve had it for a really long time, and it hadn’t diminished one bit while you were gone. If anything, it got stronger…”
She seemed to be frozen in place, and you were already regretting it.
“I’m sorry for doing this so-“
“Don’t be.”
You were confused.
“Why?”
“Because…I feel the same.”
Your eyes lit up.
“Really? Like- actually?”
“Really.”
You smiled at each other lovingly, lost in the moment, lost in each other. She suddenly decided to break the silence.
“Y/N, you might not remember, but…there was this one day where we both made a wish on a dandelion.”
You had that day picture perfect in your memory.
“I remember. Hey- it’s been more than five years…now you should tell me!”
“Yeah, I was going to do that. On one condition though.”
“What is it?”
“You tell me your wish too!”
You nodded in agreement, before smiling shyly at her.
“Well, my wish was to one day be able to confess to you, Mi.”
“Mine was for you to love me back.”
You stared at her, mouth agape.
“See, this wishing in a dandelion thing isn’t bogus; it works!”
“Well-“
You spoke up in protest, but you really didn’t want to have a silly little argument right now.
“Y/N…this is- you are all my dreams come true.”
She stroked your hair gently with her left hand, her right one still holding your left.
“Mi, I hope that in all alternative universes and next lives, I find you.”
You both let your foreheads touch as her arm wrapped around your waist. She whispered to you, her breath soft on your face.
“I love you, Y/N.”
“I love you too, Miyeon.”
“Can I- Can I kiss you?”
You blinked twice, considering what she said.
“Yes…yes you can.”
Her right arm was around your waist, as she used her left hand to gently tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. Her hand moved gently, leaving a featherlight touch. It rested on your cheek, and she stroked it gently. You smiled at each other, before she leaned in and closed the gap.
It was perfect.
Her lips were soft and sweet, and those few moments felt like heaven. She pulled away after a while, looking at you nervously.
“How was it?”
“Mi, that was- perfect. I’ve never felt anything like that before.”
She giggled before speaking again.
“I got you a gift.”
It was another pink rose, almost the same as the ones you bought. She gave it to you, her eyes shining.
“To think that the last time you did this was years ago…Mi, you’re an angel. You- scratch that, you’re my paradise. My own paradise, especially every time I look into those angel eyes.
She blushed heavily. “And Y/N, you…you’re my rose among the daisies.

Yuqi | Lost
(G)I-dle Yuqi x gn!reader words: ~1.5k genre: angst, a bit of fluff/comfort if you squint warnings: implications of them having had an unhealthy relationship
Desc.: In which you meet Yuqi, your ex-girlfriend you had broken up with not long ago, out on the streets and it seems like neither of you has gotten over everything that happened yet.
You're wandering the streets of the city, neon lights up ahead hiding the stars of the night sky. You've been here countless of times before, knowing the paths and the names of the shops by heart. Still, it seems like you’re estranged from everything nowadays. It's been like that ever since your breakup - nothing you do feels right. You go to sleep earlier than usual but when you get up in the morning you seem more exhausted than ever. Your days pass you by as if you were a mere side character in your own life, a tiny detail easily missed. You're well aware that you just ought to give yourself some time for the pain to pass, and to digest everything that happened, but why is it that the feelings of hurt and betrayal feel like a rock in your stomach, so you can barely even force yourself to eat? The sadness has long consumed you, and still you trust that it will pass, but your faith is wearing thin these days.
When you turn the next corner, you halt. Your feet refuse to move any further, and when your eyes begin to distinguish the faces in the mass of people in front of you, you understand why. You gulp as you see her, so as not to throw up when it seems like the rock in your gut wants to get out now. Her features as well are shrouded in a deep sadness, and though it makes your heart ache to see her like that, you dare not to draw near.
"Yuqi," you mutter her name under your breath, hating the way it stings like thorns and yet rolls off your tongue so sweetly at the same time. And then she turns her head, catching sight of you, and your gazes become stuck on each other.
It's like you don't even realize how she’s stepping closer slowly, only when she's standing right in front of you, your world seems to be moving again and all the memories hit you at once, like bullets incessantly raining down on you.
Yuqi opens her mouth, but then closes it again without saying a word. When your eyes meet hers, there's pain apparent behind her gaze - you remember the many expressions she's shown you, the joy, the laughter, the fiery, the playfulness,... everything. You've never seen her this sad.
"Yuqi..." You repeat her name, out loud this time, and she replies,
"We should talk." There's no strength left behind her voice, and you're starting to think that maybe you weren't the only one who's had a rough couple of weeks.
"Sure." You agree without thinking, and your feet carry you to a nearby playground that comes with its own set of memories. Each sitting down on one side of the double swings, your eyes focus on the ground underneath you.
"What do you want to tell me?" you ask.
"What?" she replies. "That sounds like you have nothing to say at all." You merely let out a dry laugh - because of how you should've known she would react like that, and because now, you're not afraid of upsetting her anymore.
"Oh I do," you clarify. "I have a lot to say. I just thought maybe you want to start. But if you're going to be like this again, I'm not so sure if I really want to hear it, to be honest." You hear her gasp, followed by silence. "What?" you add, finally looking up at her to be faced with a bitter expression that's hard to stomach. Maybe you've given up on her enough so her words can't hurt you anymore, but it seems like yours still cut her like a knife.
"I'm sorry..." you hesitantly apologize. "What did you want to say?" Yuqi shakes her head, before getting up off the swing, and for a moment you think she'll just walk away and you'll never see her again. However, when she takes a few steps to stand right in front of you, grabbing the chains holding up the swing you're using, you're surprised to say the least. And a bit reassured too.
"You don't get to talk to me like that," she speaks firmly. "You were the one who threw me away like it was nothing. You were the one who would always avoid me and let things go to shit because you were too scared to say a word." You can see the anger reflecting on her face clearly now, yet you can't shake the feeling that deep down her words are coming from a place of deeply caring about you - even after everything that happened to you two.
"And I get it, but I always gave you time, I always took care of you. You can't blame me that at some point I got tired of being the first one to say something," Yuqi continues, fire flaring up in her gaze that's resting on you. And the more she speaks, the more you feel your resistance against her words falter. "This is why you left, isn't it? You were just waiting for me to start making mistakes so you could finally have an excuse to walk out instead of looking yourself in the mirror and fixing things."
She only stops talking when there's a single teardrop running down your cheek. Unable to look at you like that, she steps away.
"You're right..." you eventually say. "It was my fault, I know that. I was a coward... I was scared to lose you if I said a wrong word. I guess I took you for granted too, as much as I wanted you to just admit you're getting fed up with me and leave."
"Y/N, I really hate you." The words don't have the impact that being told the person you used to date hates you should have, and when she whirls around you know why. She's crying, tears streaming down her face. "I really... hate you..."
You can't watch her like this. You jump up and approach her, wrapping your arms around her and feeling her stiffen up immediately.
"I'm so sorry..." you mumble, but she pushes you away eventually.
"I know you are." She quickly wipes her tears with the sleeves of her cardigan, only for new ones to follow. "But you always are. Being sorry simply isn't enough, do you not understand that?" You can't say anything, so you merely stare blankly at her, until she continues talking in between sobs and sniffles. "I still love you... I hate that I do, because we're not good together. But I do."
"Love..." you call out to her, and it comes out as no more than a whisper. However, she shakes her head firmly.
"Don't call me that..." her voice cracks, like something is crumbling inside her, and you know that this is your last chance to win her back.
"You know..." you begin to talk, "it's funny that we're having this conversation here, isn't it?" When you merely earn yourself a questioning look from her, you elaborate, "I remember last summer when we were here and you told me you liked me." A smile involuntarily creeps onto your face upon thinking back to that day. "I was so happy but I didn't know what to say. So when we were surprised by the rain I was actually glad it started pouring. Because that was the perfect excuse to take your hand and run off with you. And to kiss you in front of that shop later on." Your smile becomes bitter. "I guess looking for excuses was something I've always done. Because I'm a coward..."
"Y/N," Yuqi says. "Being a coward doesn't make you a bad person. I know that's what you think, but you can still try to overcome your fear and communicate. Even if it's late, even if you can’t say what’s bothering you out loud and you write it down instead or whatever. But you don't have to keep it all inside until it explodes and... this happens." She's calmed down a bit, and you feel taken care of just by listening to her speak. Guilt begins to spill inside you, making you feel sick to your stomach. You avert your gaze, unable to look her in the eyes.
"Stop being so kind to me. I thought you hated me."
"Y/N..." she calls out to you, and when you dare to look up, you find her lips grazing yours. She presses a feathery light kiss onto your mouth, tasting both sweet and bitter, and when she pulls away you yearn for more. "We can't go on like we used to, you know that." You stay still, not wanting to admit the painful truth. "I'll wait for you. I promise, I'll wait. I just don't know how long I can take it. How long I can keep loving you while waiting." You understand what she's trying to say, and so you nod, and you lean in just a little bit, waiting for her permission to close the distance between you. She lets out a sigh, tension flowing out of her body as her shoulders slouch over just a bit, and when her eyelids flutter shut, you kiss her, this time properly.
"I'll be better," you whisper against her lips, "and I'll come back to you. I swear."
