helllooooo!!!! can i request yan! reo with a chubby, female reader is pregnant but they went to the doctors alone (somehow) and the doctor said pregnant! reader might die during child-birth but they hide it from reo đŤśđ˝
âASSURANCE OF A SECRET.â

$ FEATURING. YANDERE! HUSBAND MIKAGE REO
CONTENT WARNINGS. implied noncon + forced marriage + talks of escape + inaccurate descriptions of medical related content + pregnancy + suicide + ideas of losing a child + sensitive content + read the warnings before continuing. dead dove do not eat.
SYNOPSIS. a secret visit to a doctor gave you the sweetest of dreams.
it took you weeks of careful planning to get away temporarily. considering he was like a leech to you after finding out you were carrying his baby. ultimately fussy with a heavy case of turning into one of those shitty in-laws who doesn't know personal space. he's one a hell of a baby daddy. experts and professional alikes already at your disposal within the first minute of the revelation.
you were more uncomfortable with the attention he was giving to you whatever time he got at the day rather than the actual pregnancy. doctors told him after examining you that the whole duration of your pregnancy is going well but you're not convinced with them. knowing they were trying to sweeten up reo by that. you need a doctor that will tell you all the complications and risk you are going to face with this pregnancy and so you formulated your plan which had gone successfully.
being alone was difficult, regarding the number of bodyguards that closely follows you and the hidden ones. you even cannot trust a simple citizen who was just trying to get their coffee done. convincing reo to allow you to roam the streets was out of the question so you begged him to let you go but with the bodyguards which he agreed easily.
getting to a hospital was the real difficulty. you can also be passed as secret agent from the way you acted and planned out all of this. starting to get yourself wounded from a accidental cut. blood dripping in your car seat and your bodyguard who was instructed to tend to all of your emergencies, yes, it includes having the smallest of paper cut and even it was a small wound. you tricked him into going to hospital and leaving you alone with a doctor to examine your wounds and that's when you strike.
all alone with the doctor with multiple charts relating to pregnancy littered in a private room. your obstetrician laid out what to expect from your pregnancy and the complications and risks which you gladly wanted to know and they were honest like you wanted.
âconsidering your stature and this pregnancy. it's not going to be easy.â the obstetrician began to talk to you of what may happen at the duration of your pregnancy. âit poses risks such as miscarriage, heavy bleeding, infertility and worst, death. you might die if you were to deliver this baby.â your brows raised at the possibility of your death and somehow you weren't scared of it. happy? nope. more like it's the satisfaction you were about to feel when it comes true.
you would be free and you hoped this baby will do too. it can never have a father like reo and it would be a slap to him in the face. his selfishness reflecting to you and it would be his biggest karma losing you and this child.
you listened in full attention to the obstetrician. their rules on how to avoid such scenarios (which you hoped for) and how to take care of your body and hundred instructions every doctor would tell you.
you left shortly after thanking the doctor and you were on your ride home. thinking of the outcome this birth will do to you and you were assured by it.
with your days numbered and you merrily played along with your husband's whims. asking how's your day was and the other stuff. omitting the pregnancy stuff that you had took with a second doctor's opinion. this will be his punishment. losing you and this child he wanted with you. forced him to witness the horror and it's a shame you would be long gone before you can witness it. bleeding and cold in that table. life sucked out of you like what he did to you when he forced you to be his and have to carry this child.
he holds your hand where you caress your baby bump, meeting his gaze full of hope and excitement. you smiled at him. you just couldn't wait to replace the look in his eyes with madness.

r/systemscringe is perplexed at being called out for being misinformed! Spreads even more misinformation!
Dr. Eric Yarbrough is one.
The creators of the theory of structural dissociation have also said it may be possible to form self-conscious dissociative parts without a disorder.
Yes, him too Ari!
So weird how people will look at one of the foremost experts on DID, who has been studying since dissociative identity disorder since their parents were in diapers, and put "qualified" in quotations.
But that's r/systemscringe for you. đ¤ˇââď¸
Also, these are just a few that could be described as "therapists."
There are plenty of other psychologists and psychiatrists that I'm not sure if they actually perform "therapy," but nevertheless have studied plurality.
This paper, for example, includes several names of doctors.
Susan C. Turell, Christopher Wolf-Gould, and Matthew A. Adan are all doctors. (Some of the others may be too but I'm not certain.)
Additionally, tulpamancy has been acknowledged as a real psychological phenomenon and has been studied by Dr. Michael Lifshitz and Dr. Samuel Veissiere, both professors at McGill University.
Not according to the DSM-5!
Way to prove the point though about being armchair psychologists!
Clearly, you guys aren't looking at the DSM-5 Grace, if u/Inevitable_Wolf5866 and their upvoters are anything to go by.
They're almost saying the quiet part out loud and revealing that they think any doctor who believes in endogenic plurality, regardless of credentials or experience, is untrustworthy and not credible solely because they believe in endogenic plurality and no other reason.
This is why you can't cite doctors to change their minds. Their criteria for trustworthiness is that the doctor doesn't believe in endogenic plurality. Therefore, doctors who believe in endogenic plurality aren't credible.
"Doctor Shopping" is a favorite phrase by cringizens to justify fakeclaiming people who have been diagnosed. "We're not wrong, you just visited multiple doctors until you got one that told you what you wanted to hear."
This isn't even a correct use of the term! "Doctor shopping" was originally used to describe drug addicts visiting multiple doctors to get their hands on prescription medications.
Doctor shopping to get a diagnosis of a disorder that can only be treated with therapy isn't doctor shopping. The term you're looking for is "getting a second opinion."
Which is a pretty fair thing to do. Especially when anyone who knows anything about dissociative identity disorder knows that it's frequently misdiagnosed as other disorders, with some doctors not even believing it exists, and patients enduring ineffective treatments for years before getting a correct diagnosis. Getting second or third opinions when you believe you're being misdiagnosed is perfectly valid, and actually really important to do.
Not just for DID but physical conditions as well. Plenty of people have been misdiagnosed and would have died if they didn't get a second opinion. We don't have any idea how many have died from treatable conditions because they didn't get a second opinion.
I don't know, Sicko, how you can scroll the subreddit for 5 minutes and not see all the misinformation from its users, like that which I just pointed out above.
Oh wait! I actually do! It's called willful ignorance!

In an interview with Newsmax last week, U.S. Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina said that one of the reasons she supports President-elect Trumpâs nomination of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to be the next U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services (HSS) is her concern about the safety of the COVID-19 shots. She confirmed that she suffered injuries following her second COVID mRNA (messenger ribonucleic acid) shot in the spring of 2021.1 2 3 4
Rep. Mace received the first dose of Moderna/NIAIDâs Spikevax COVID mRNA shot on Apr. 13, 2021, followed by the second dose in May-June of that year.5Â She said:
I now developed asthma that has never gone away since I had the second shot. I have tremors in my left hand. And I have the occasional heart pain that no doctor can explain, and Iâve had a battery of tests, Mace said. âI thought I was doing my civic duty to get vaccinated by this vaccine that had not been tested. My health has never been the same.1Â 2Â 4
Mace, who is a member of the House of Representativesâ Oversight Committee, that the public has not been told the truth about the safety of the COVID shots, and specifically that information about the shots was suppressed during the pandemic by social media platforms such Twitter (now known as X).1 2
Doctors Censored on Social Media for Criticizing Federal COVID Policies
In a House Oversight Committee hearing on Feb. 8, 2023, Mace questioned ex-Twitter official Vijaya Gadde about why renowned medical doctors and epidemiologists like Martin Kulldorff, MD of Harvard Medical School, Jay Bhattacharya, MD of Stanford University, and others were censored on Twitter for views that did not conform to the federal governmentâs narrative about COVID and the COVID shots.1
âYou guys censored Harvard-educated doctors, Stanford-educated doctors, doctors that are educated in the best places in the world, and you silenced those voices. âApparently, the views of a Stanford doctor are disinformation to you people,â Mace said. âI find it extremely alarming [that] Twitterâs unfettered censorship spread into medical fields and affected many Americans by suppressing expert opinions from doctors and censoring those who disagree with the CDC. â1 4
âMillions of Americans were lied to and [are] living with the consequences of this decision. Thank God I didnât vaccinate my children with this thing, but Iâm living every day with the consequences of that decision, and I regret it,â Mace said.2

Loveuary, Day 6 - First Meeting
Spicyhoney, pregnancy, extremely brief moment of angst (works out fine), mostly fluff
Word Count: 1253
After the war, a lot of monster history got lost in the transfer underground. Any info on the various types of monsters who'd been wiped out or close to in the war itself didn't just go missing, they couldn't even be re-recorded. Which meant after the, uh, 'Royal scientist' disappeared, he and his brother, and similarly their alternates, grew up knowing next to nothing about skeleton monsters.
Not that it impacted them much. All monsters were made of magic, that didn't vary, and there were plenty of other types of monsters that functioned similarly enough they could just borrow a baseline.
But sometimes...sometimes there was something specific, really specific, that no one should go into without at least some level of basic understanding. Like how they'd have a baby.
Except that knowledge just didn't exist, not anymore.
So that gave them two choices; try and figure it out as they went, or just don't try at all. When it came down to it, after the weeks they'd spent talking, searching, running statistics, getting second opinions (well, one second opinion, from Sylv), they decided the end result would be more than worth the challenge.
All told, it blessedly wound up working pretty similarly to elemental monsters, of which plenty of current medical information existed for. It gave them about a year to plan and prep and do their best to find their bearings. A year and a half total if you included the pregame, too.
But despite that, all the planning, all the appointments, all the asked for and unsolicited advice, Stretch still hadn't been ready for Edge's intent to spike, rushing to find him half knelt in his office two weeks before his due date, one hand on his ecto and the other braced against a chair, expression twisted with shock.
"It's- they're- the baby, it's here-"
Oh, he'd thought he'd be fine. After marathoning hours of videos about what to expect for all sorts of monster-types, reading all of the books Edge got, following the blogs Sylv sent him in countless emails, he felt like a bonafide expert. At least at being an expecting parent.
But as he drove them to the hospital with painstaking caution while Edge shifted and groaned in a starkly unusual open display of his pain, Stretch realized there was absolutely no chance he would've ever been prepared for it.
Was anyone, really?
They got rushed back quickly, thank the angel, Edge couldn't even walk on his own by the time they got there. Stretch had foolishly hoped that meant it'd happen quickly. By hour four, both of them had tear tracks staining their faces and Stretch's...everything, his everything hurt. Especially the hand locked in Edge's, though, and his cramped up legs. Still, he refused to move, comforting Edge as best he could.
Somewhere between the next two hours, the doctor finally got their little bundle of bones out...but Edge's body didn't get the memo. He continued shedding excess magic except it wasn't excess anymore, and Stretch nearly collapsed when the nurses ordered him away from the bed so they had room.
Seeing Edge lying there, barely clinging to consciousness, covered in sweat and tears, unmoving as the doctors and nurses swarmed him and realizing he didn't even see where they took their baby would be burned into his memory for years to come.
'Happens all the time', the doctor told him after, 'looks scary, usually isn't serious'.
Usually. And that she didn't clarify how serious Edge's condition specifically had been didn't inspire confidence. But by that point he'd already stabilized and they'd moved him to a nice clean room. A room with big comfy chairs Stretch struggled to stay awake in, waiting for the nurse to come back with their newborn.
Red had told him once, probably years ago by then, that the only method to get Edge to stay asleep for more than an hour involved a baseball bat. Stretch had taken it as a joke but in truth, Edge had never proved it wrong. Not even after significant magic loss and dosed up on pain meds.
The moment the door started creaking open, he snapped awake, eyes wide and panicked. He tried to push himself up, but his limbs didn't seem to want to cooperate, with him or Stretch, who nearly took a hand to the jaw trying to calm him.
"whoa, whoa, it's me, edge, easy-"
The way the nurse stood patiently by with a placid smile while Edge attempted to slur threats at him spoke volumes of the work environment there.
Thankfully it didn't take long for Edge to come to, blinking up at him with muzzy confusion. The transition to mounting horror happened even faster, hand gripping Stretch's arm with what little strength he could muster.
"Where-"
"right here, love, right here," Stretch soothed breathlessly. He didn't even have time to gesture for the nurse to step closer, they were already bedside, angling the little bundle of blankets for Stretch to take.
And then there it was again. Just when he'd thought he'd caught up, another wave crashed down and he swallowed thickly, sitting up more properly and reaching shaking hands to accept them, to accept...
Him. Market. The Check also confirmed him to be completely healthy. A healthy baby boy, bones still tinted pink from Edge's magic, sleeping peacefully like something off a greeting card.
Stars, he was so small.
"Congratulations," the nurse whispered, offering them a sincere smile before stepping out to give them a moment.
Carefully, Stretch shuffled until he could settle alongside Edge, tugging the pillow slightly so Edge wouldn't have to crane his neck to get a good look.
A breathless laugh escaped him watching Edge take in his first sight of their baby. Their baby. A little tiny babybones, with little softened fangs, he looked so much like Edge already-
"Hello," Edge whispered when the baby opened his eyes. The gentle awe in his husband's voice had fresh tears threatening along the rims of his sockets.
Big white eyelights nearly filled Market's sockets, turning to him like tiny spotlights when his breath hitched.
"Market," then back to Edge. "What a wonderful font."
"heâs the most perfect thing in the whole world," Stretch murmured against Edge's temple, pressing a kiss there, then another to his cheekbone, and finally one to his teeth when Edge tilted his head for it.
Market just watched them, squirming now and then, and Stretch brought him closer to press a soft kiss to the top of his skull.
"hiya, baby." He squirmed again in response, then yawned, blinking heavily. "yeah, it's been a pretty big day for you, too, huh?"
When Edge wrapped an arm over him, he snuggled closer, Market fitting perfectly where they pressed together.
"M, love you," Edge slurred out, nuzzling Stretch while he carefully caressed the bundle between them.
"love you, too, so much, so so much," a quiet, wet breath escaped him, but the tears didn't fall when he closed his eyes. As he drifted somewhere between awake and not, he realized he could feel the low vibration of Edge purring, and he thought for a second his soul might actually burst from being so overfull of love and joy and every good thing you could think of that he couldn't at the moment because he was also so, incredibly tired.
Whenever they woke up, they'd have a long line of family and friends waiting to meet their newest member. He couldn't wait to introduce them.
#does market have a tag here? I know I posted a drawing w/ him in it...ough#checked. he does! but I did not post the sketch of him I thought I did so I'll have to find that and post it <3#sh market#spicyhoney child#sns fic stuff#spicyhoney#papship#papcest

Hogwarts Legacy (Modern Medical AU)
(Iâm currently watching medical dramas now and I just needed to get it out of my system - Iâm sorry Medical Professionals and Nursing Dept if its inaccurate. Itâs lengthy so more under the cut.)
MC / Protagonist : Emergency Medicine / Trauma Surgery - Caring for illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention (ER) as well as a history in conducting surgery for trauma wounds (stab, car crashes, crushes, falls, 3rd degree burns, gunshot wounds)
Definitely someone that jumps into action and the jackknife of medicine. Able to perform under high pressure and maintaining her cool. She works alongside Head Nurse (ER) Everett Clopton who is just as high-strung, reactive and able to keep up with her. Pages medical specialists for various patients, so she sees her colleagues periodically. Ominis Gaunt does come by to discuss certain patientsâ care when required but the ER is frankly too noisy and fast-paced for him. In extreme situations where there is no medical posts or other specialists available, she is able to perform trauma surgery or provide assistance.
Sebastian Sallow also likes dropping by often to check in on her unannounced (though he also secretly enjoys the heated atmosphere of the ER).
Sebastian Sallow : Cardiothorasic Surgeon - Performing surgery on organs in the chest, such as heart, lungs and esophagus
Smart, fast, performs well with the adrenaline that comes with high pressure heart and lung surgery. Withstands long hours of precision surgery, able to perform bedside manner with respect and care. His need to jump with an action that is risky and yields the most results with success makes him prime for this department as nothing can be more dangerous than taking someoneâs heart out and resetting it a hair away from death if done by the untrained and the weak-hearted. And Sebastian is none of those things.
Ominis Gaunt : Public Health / Health Policy - Researching evidence-based medicine and working with physicians to improve guidelines for treatment of conditions
The blind son of the Gaunt family, a renowned powerhouse and stronghold of medicine in the country. Ominis chooses to work at their least affiliated and poorest hospital (coincidentally also the furthest). His job is purely desk-bound, assisted by Anne Sallow as they work together to improve policies and garner funds for the hospital in the name of public health. Though nothing will stop them from heading out into the field to handle cases that they prefer to approach hands on.
Anne Sallow : Infectious Diseases Specialist - Diagnosing, treating and preventing infections in patients
An expert on Infectious Diseases and was a surgeon-in-training. After she had been diagnosed with cancer, she had to give up her studies to be a surgeon. She decided on helping others instead, affecting change at a higher level with Ominis. Shrewd, confident and charismatic, she and Ominis make sure the hospital is run to a t while dealing with insurance companies, philanthropists and the Gaunt family board members. She is in remission.
Natsai Onai : General Surgery - Performing surgery, treating diseases of abdomen, chest, head, neck, blood vessels, digestive tract, injured and deformed patients
The best surgeon this hospital has. She transferred over from Uagadou and with her experience, she is able to accomplish any surgery easily. With her strong need to help people, she has amassed extreme knowledge and drive to learn as many possible ways to carry out surgery on different ailments. She also allows the hospital direct affiliation with her mother hospital in Uagadou for resources and second opinions on abnormal cases.
Garreth Weasley : Pediatrics - Medical care of infants, children and adolescents
Family and children have always been a pillar of Garrethâs life. A cheerful and positive doctor, Garreth is a natural with children and has a hand in his familyâs pharmaceutical company for manufacturing the branch of vitamin-based supplement chewables that are friendly for children. He is definitely an advocate of wearing a mask in his clinic as children really are the melting pot of diseases. He occasionally organises parties where he makes a lot of mind-numbing drinks for the other doctors, but those are rare as everyone never stops working and no one is willing to work hungover. He works alongside Poppy Sweeting often as their departments intersect. In a pinch, he is also able to deliver babies.
Poppy Sweeting : Obstetrician Gynaecologist - Treatment of pregnant woman, delivery of babies and the care of womenâs reproductive organs and health
A firm but comforting presence in the OB/GYN unit, Poppy follows her patients from advisory stage and into the delivery room. When facing complications, she is able to keep her cool and remains a strong pillar of support for starting families. Poppyâs grandmother was an OB/GYN as well and Poppy decided to follow in her footsteps.
Leander Prewett : Oncology - Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer
With family and history in medicine, Leander follows after the footsteps of his parents who are prolific doctors, gleaning their expertise and knowledge as pioneers in Oncology. While it is a study that is rife with morbidity, Leander possesses the tenacity and drive to keep a cool head and determine the best treatment and clinical trials for his patients.
After Anne was diagnosed with cancer, Sebastian stopped by Oncology way more often than he should for Prewettâs liking as he is akin to a fireball. But after working with him, Leander finds himself open to accepting newer, and riskier forms of clinical trials with an improved set of guidelines he formulated with Sallowâs opinion. In the past, he had low confidence in himself and believed that Sebastian was better suited for Oncology than he was, but after taking on Anne as his patient and seeing Sebastianâs reactions - it cements Leanderâs confidence that only those with his measured temperament can do his job.
Imelda Reyes : Neurosurgery - Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders that affect the nervous system, brain, spinal column, spinal cord and extra-cranial cerebrovascular system
Extremely intelligent, precise, determined and focused, Imelda possesses an eye and expertise for the human brain like no other. She does not tolerate nonsense in her office and in her operating room as one wrong move throws a patient into brain damage for life, a fate she decrees worse than death. She plays chess and sports in her spare time, her chess skills equal to being a grandmaster.
Amit Thakkar : Pharmacy - Dispensing and advising medical practitioners, patients, and nurses on safe, effective and efficient use
While it seems like a job with little excitement, it is the clear attention to detail and memory of every drug and pill in his storage that separates Amit from the rest. On top of dispensing medicine, he is also adept at chasing away unwanted abusers of his counter and is currently an advisory to procuring, discerning and looking for new drugs that could speed up patient recovery with lesser side effects.
Everett Clopton : Head Nurse with MC in Emergency Department - Directs nursing service activities in the emergency room
Everett is a trusted second-in-command to MC, and is able to handle, support her orders, and keep track of all patients and their welfare in the room. His main forte is dealing with all chains of command and patients in the chaos with a smile on his face and a sliver of veiled threats to keep them in line. He also takes time to make sure that MC is not overloading herself as she has a penchant for taking on more work than she should.
âââââââ
(I know Iâm missing some friends but they should be reserved for other areas such as anathesiologists, radiology, psychology, that sort. I might add on the Professors as well, but that is another post.)
Extra
Lucan Brattleby is definitely an intern with a flair for surgery but for which department? If anything I know he definitely idolises Sebastian and has a minor crush on MC.

Hey!
Could we get more about the yandere whitebeard crew?. I could imagine that if the whitebeard crew had any female members that they would be more protected of them. They just look like a crew that if a marine attacks one of they female members then they would get double attacked. Whitebeard goes into protect girl dad mode if they get attacked
I also feel like if they do have female members then there is probably one that is like a big sister to the rest of the girls. We're all the other girls can talk to her.
Btw sorry for my bad English.^^
First of all mi vida, I think your English is very good, I'm not an expert in the English language either, after all my native language is Spanish (which will come in handy when I finish my drafts for Miguel O'hara fics since I will enter to the Spiderman across the spider verse fandom, I already have about 3 ocs already created for that, sorry for the spam XD I am just so excited to see that spanish is becoming more popular here), so, as for how you write, in my opinion you do it very well, goob job darling~
Second, canonically speaking, the whitebeard pirates have female members in the gang, which are the nurses, as you can see in this image.

And what you say is true, Whitebeard's enemies would definitely try to attack the female members, but not just for the fact that they are women, and of course, Whitebeard, as a man of older generation, would feel the need to care of his daughters; but the truth would be more due to the fact that it is them, the nurses and the medical team, ruling out Marco, my headcanon is that the rest of the doctors and assistants are exclusively women, why? Because he believes that women are the ones who take better care of others, for the simple fact that they are women and the care and upbringing of others is within the feminine nature
I also have the headcanon, which is very possible a canon fact, that this specific pirate group rescues or finds children, takes them into their crew, and they are raised as the future members of the Whitebeard pirates, so it's very likely that , as you say, have female members in the group who have certain roles, such as the teacher, the older sister, the younger sister, the voice of reason, the woman who is in charge of the group's economy ( just as women are the ones who should be in charge of the household economy) the mother of the group etcâŚ
and here between you and me:
Marco had a very hard training to be a doctor in Whitebeard's pirates due to the fact that he was a man, and surely many of the nurses and doctors (at that time all felame) had to beg for him so that the captain would give him a chance.
Women are definitely more favored in the pirate crew, maybe not in positions of combat power like being a commander, because that would be too dangerous and Whitebeard has generally only let women in for medical or caregiving positions or they're still children, so usually no woman has the combat skills required to be a commander, but it is the women who have more decision-making power in all other aspects, economy, travel, children, etcâŚ
Every time there is a fight or armed conflict, either with the marines or another pirate group, there is a group with a secret commander who is in charge of transporting the women and children away from danger and bringing them back to their nakamas when it's safe

ok I was gonna ask about your charlie scully one (still am I guess lol) but I must know your thoughts on the autism question, a while back there was a fandom-wide twitter spat over whether or not mulder and scully were autistic, and I was leaning against it but that was before I figured that out about myself, and most of my moots are in favor of it, and idk really what to think lol so your insight would be much appreciatedđđť (also if I wasnât so goddamn busy I would do all of that research for you lmao)
You should do it!! Even if one day my project comes to fruition!
My leanings on the autism question: no. But I'd have to prove or disprove my own theory if I wrote up that post; and in order to do that, I'd have to have a clearer understanding of the diagnosis, its symptoms (and symptoms that are commonly misdiagnosed), and its identifiable characteristics.
The "problem" is: the new understanding of autism and other disorders are now framed on a spectrum. In order for me to break down the topic, I'd have to ingest lots and lots of autism content from clinically licensed professionals and hear what they look for, broadly, when forming a diagnosis; then, I'd have to search up what the fandom perceives Mulder and Scully's autistic traits to be; then, I'd have to compare and contrast the strength of each claim; then I'd have to balance the whole. Currently, I'm ingesting new autistic creators that are breaking down barriers of what autism is perceived to be (and that's been helpful); and I have a few other licensed professionals I'd need to catch up on (one who even has the diagnosis herself.) In short: tons of layman research.
More importantly: who would be interested in my post, realistically? I don't have doctorate (or training), for one. Second, it's a rather popular thought that Mulder or Scully have some sort of diagnosis (besides trauma-- canon agrees with that one.) The rule dictates everyone has a right to their own opinion; and since that's the case, where would my post fit in?
Realistically, the 90s FBI wouldn't have recruited Scully out of medical school if they suspected she had autism. Mulder perhaps, but only because of Bill Mulder's (or CSM's) connection. There's a program just instituted (2021) by the Feds that is working on recruiting people with autism into their pilot program. And according to studies I've learned about from autism creators (that they've gleaned from the professionals), a neurotypical brain automatically senses something "off" or "different" about a neurodivergent brain, which can lead to ostracization (or bullying in children... and adults.) 90s Scully would have had to learn to mask her autism so well that not only was she never diagnosed but she attracted the attention of the FBI recruitment office-- not a small feat for a woman in the 90s-- and was able to keep it through their very strict recruitment circuit. (Fyi, the man who inspired "Catch Me if You Can" tried to get in with a law degree and was still turned down.)
Also, Mulder and Scully face back-to-back stimulating environments; and go right back to work without time to decompress (which is a feat nearly unachievable.) I'm not an expert-- far from it-- but the common denominator I'm finding from professionals and diagnosed individuals is that overstimulation is a key factor in autism. To varying degrees, yes, but still. Overwhelm and meltdowns are parts of the diagnosis that have to be factored in. Anecdotally, I've read one person who states she becomes better in high-stress situations than her peers because of her hyperfocus; but she seems to be an outlier (I presume.) I'd need to do more research on differing degrees of overwhelm and meltdowns (not everyone manifests overwhelm or a meltdown in the same way, of course); but since the field is still swamped with more information regarding "stereotypical" autism (a.k.a. boys who show the most extreme signs), it would take me a bit to narrow things down even more.
Lastly, we can all probably agree CC didn't write Mulder and Scully with an autism diagnosis. He definitely gave Mulder PTSD in the Pilot; and Scully's trauma from her abduction was written in later. The personal theories branch off from there; and, again, in order to finalize a perspective one way or another, a licensed professional would probably have to watch the show (or more than one season) and make a conclusion; otherwise, my "research" could be written off as another form of headcanon. And since professionals are professional, they'd probably abstain from forming an opinion either way.
Thus, the scales have been put before you: time requirements and lukewarm reception weigh against it; putting my ideas out there for me and the mutuals to puzzle over weigh for it.

National Anthem
Chapter 7
Cw: postpartum, mentions of breastfeeding, postpartum depression and rage, attempted murder, period typical attitudes , alcohol
Taglist: @thegreatdragonfruta @zablife @call-sign-shark

Rosieâs birth wasnât the end to Evaâs shitty moods.
Jackâs gone to New York with his business at the investment firm heâs bought and knows thereâs gonna be another row when he gets back.
Eva was afflicted by the baby blues and some remains of her shell shock. Didnât help that Rosie had trouble latching onto her tits to the point the doctor had to recommend powdered baby formula a week ago.
His witch had taken it as having failed at being a mother even if Rosie was barely fifteen days old. From then on everything had just become worse, in his expert opinion.
The lack of sex made her irritable, a strict regime to regain her figure ruined meals more often than not and having her remaining family far from her had her at the brink of tears.
She had wanted to come to New York, stay with her family in 5th Avenue while he worked, but he had refused her suggestion because she was still recuperating from Rosieâs fucking awful birth.
Did it stop her from barging into his office today as if she werenât still bleeding from the birth?
No, because here she was looking as stunning as always and angry at him for some fucking reason he cannot even begin to guess.
âWhat the fuck did I do this time, Evie?â he sits back and asks the woman who looks very close to committing violence.
âThe Italians, did you have to fucking provoke them, Jack?â she answers throwing the black hand addressed to him.
His latest taunt was supposed to put the fear of God in them, let them fucking know Jack meant business.
Changretta had wrapped a garrote around his balls when he learned Laurie had gone off to die in France, said heâd make sure the Nelson name would die with him in that alley.
Now that the Spiniettas tried their hand at bootlegging, Jack had come to make Luca shit his tailor-made suit. The Irish gangster then told him all about the witch who not only gave him the boats the Italians were trying to use to smuggle booze from Europe but also had given Jack the three brats back-to-back.
And when youâre having Riccardo Spinietta ask where the shipment went, Iâll be fucking a fourth one into her, Jack had taunted as they left Luca barely alive at the docks.
âCongratulations on your daughter.â The threat was clear, and Jack supposed his wife had a reason to chew him out about it.
âIf anything happened to you and the kids, Iâll fucking kill them.â He stayed seated already plotting how heâd wipe the wops off the face of the fucking earth for daring to come after his woman and children.
âYour police chief has been notified and until this is resolved, we are staying with my uncle. You are welcome to join us there, or not, I donât give a shit.â Even despite the danger they are in, sheâs still mad at him.
The witch straightened herself out as she made to leave his office, Jack took the chance to walk her out, to have an excuse to touch her even if its just a hand at the small of her back and a lukewarm kiss goodbye.
âPut a place for me at dinner then, Evie. We will talk about this laterâ Heâll deal with this later, when he can get her to talk freely and then remind her he loves her better than anyone else ever can.
For now, he settles by opening the door for her.
Instead of leaving Eva pulled him onto the threshold with trembling hands and forcefully shoved him against the doorframe seconds before a bomb went off in the street below.
He covered her as best he could as they braced for impact. The office is sturdy enough to withstand the damage and yet the screams he hears in the lobby below tell him that this bomb was meant for them.
The Black Hand had retaliated, the hand in their mail was a diversion. A way to get him to leave his office and be on the street when it happened.
They knew sheâd confront him about it and wouldâve taken both out had they been in the street.
It would be blamed on the Italian anarchists who sent their letters this morning while he was hiding in England after his failure.
Luca will be dead when he sets foot in American soil.
Evaâs given a sedative for her nerves and Jack a prescription for whiskey after being cleared of injuries.
âWeâll be fine, baby, weâll take a trip somewhere until it passes. Just us and the babies.â He promised cradling her face and kissing her forehead as she sat there numbly on the hospital bed.
It wasnât the first nor last attempt on her life, but this was the first time she didnât want to die.
Knowing she had so much to live for had shaken her, knowing she had children who needed her, a family who would miss her had made her realize just how valuable her life was.
âHow about Florida, we could rent the bungalow like we did on our honeymoon and just stay there where nothing can touch us.â Jack promised her the world and every problem had been forgotten.
But they still exist. Even if they are forgotten in the background.
âYeah, letâs do that. Stay there for a while. I miss the sand and the sun so much.â She gave a small smile. âBut tonight, we celebrate, we celebrate they didnât kill us.â
A shame she still has some twenty days before she could fuck, nothing made her feel alive like having him between her legs in every position they could think of.
Instead, she settles for drinking enough to forget that morning even happened. Not that she can, motherhood and sobriety made her a lightweight and itâs not long before sheâs being taken upstairs before she truly falls off the wagon.
Doesnât work, never fucking works, or so she tells Jack who is still sober enough to throw her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
âHave you forgotten what made you so mad at me?â he tossed her on the bed and spread her legs wide for him forgetting they canât fuck. Something he should remember from last year when they couldnât fuck on the kitchen table the Fatherâs Day after the twins were born.
âNo.â the witch answered closing her legs and using this power she has over him to talk their shit out. âYou keep me out of your business, and now weâre in danger because it didnât occur you to ask your all-knowing wife what she thought of intercepting the liquor in her ships.â
âItâs a manâs world, sweetie, would make me, us, look weak if you got involved.â He said in his defense, still undressing to join her in bed thinking sheâll forget about this tomorrow when the hangover sets in.
âSo? Theyâd regret it when they realize weâre un- fucking- touchable. Had it not been for me today you would have been blown to smithereens, sweetie.â
Eva then moved forward until she was kneeling at the edge of the bed and running her hands up his thighs until she reached his belt. So, she wasnât supposed to have penetrative sex, but they never said she couldnât use her hands or her mouth to keep Jack in line.
âI couldâve survived.â Jackâs hand comes under her chin and ran his thumb over her bottom lip tempting her into sucking it, as if he werenât already straining in his pants at the mere idea of coming on her tits and face.
Her gringo loves her mouth, thanks god all her boyfriends are dead because he canât have any man alive know her talents.
Eva wants to bite his finger off for dismissing her words and he knows it. She might even leave him like this for saying it, sheâs done it before.
âFine, weâll give it a try, but I make all the final decisions and you wonât be on the payroll. If people catch wind of it, our enemies will too.â The thumb on her lower lip goes back to cradle her chin and forcefully tugged her face upwards to make him look in the eye as he gives his one-time offer. âDo you understand, doll, you play by my rules, or you donât play at all.â
Well at least one good thing came out of today.
A/N: on September 16, 1920 (presumably) Italian Anarchists put a bomb in a cart at Wall Street, New York. There are conspiracies as to who did it because even now they can't actually confirm it was the Anarchists who did it.
Joe Kennedy happened to be in his office that day and was apparently blown back from the impact even it was across the street from the bomb, Jack here survived because Luca miscalculated how long they'd take in his office.
The idea for Luca and Jackâs rivalry is actually @thegreatdragonfruta idea.

Hello there! This post was in my mind for a couple of days, and I finally wrote it! After ton of research, of course.
BACKSTORIES OF JOSEF, MARTIN AND BILL! PART ONE! (And their psychological issues, but don't take them too seriously! My own opinion included. If I made a mistake about these or about lore of the films, sorry XD. All above is my theories and headcanons.)
Josef Heiter:
As we can see, our surgeon is misanthropic and antisocial human being, but what caused him to isolate himself? (Living in the forest, that there's even no communication; short speech; not tactical)
I have two takes about this.
1. Problems from childhood.
His temper can go from young age, maybe from mental issues, or from society issues. He wasn't interested in playing or interacting with other children, he had no friends."Quiet, weird kid". At school, he was obsessed over biology and sciences. Growing up, everything went even worse. Surgeon work is very gory, but separating conjoined twins is a hell on earth. His every movement, every part of this operation must be perfect, otherwise both of children would die. Either way, after becoming an expert of such cruel operation, he was never the same. His pension age came, and he went insane!
2. Problems after career.
But, what if he was "normal"? Child with no mental issues, having friends and being good overall. But after studying in medical university and starting working as a surgeon, his mind was gone. What I mean? He was disappointed and angry at humanity after all this gore he saw. And even becoming an expert didn't helped him.
Mental overview:
As I said, our doctor Heiter is showing very many antisocial traits. Nothing can make him happier, except for surgeon work; lack of empathy & emotion; few-words speech. Worldview is misanthropic, "their flesh is his fantasy".
So yeah, firstly, I want to start with Narcissism!
Wikipedia:
Narcissism is a selfâcentered personality style characterized as having an excessive preoccupation with oneself and one's own needs, often at the expense of others.
My points for that:
1. He is confident in his own uniqueness, like "no one ever thought about that, I'm so cool"
2. Believes in his crazy ideas, that they will work (why human centipede is a little bit inlogical - maybe I'll make another post about it... Lol:))
3. Wants recognition (which, however, he has already received - as an expert in separating Siamese twins)
4. And, of course, kisses himself in the mirror.
Second take:
Mysofobia - fear of contamination and germs!
My points for that:
1. Heiter is keeping his surgeon's inventory clean, all his house and clothing for the 'pede victims.
2. However, then Jenny gets infection, he just sums up that she will die soon.
3. Well, in this case, I don't have anything to say anymore... Sorry.
Also, he seems to have a God complex.... Yeah..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So yeah! That's all. I also wanted to diagnose him with paranoid schizophrenia, but I thought I will make a mistake with shizo. And there's supposed to be drawings of Heiter being young and child (in both cases of backstory ), but I have problems with drawing now. Goodbye! Martin and Bill posts will be soon, I hope so.
â Elon Musk Asked People to Upload Their Health Data. X Users Obliged. â
AI is being used to assist doctors in making diagnoses from scans. It can identify potential abnormalities that would be missed by the human eye, or suggest possibilities physicians had not considered. Someday, it may even be able to do the same based on notes about symptoms. This is one of the reasons why AI is such an exciting technology when used to assist people who are already experts at their jobs. It will never replace doctors, but it can be a powerful tool for them.
But handing images over to Grok? Oneâs own images, rather than those already released in journals and properly anonymized? That is extremely dangerous, considering who may want to buy such data. Remember: when a platform does not charge for services, the user is the actual product.
What escapes me is how people with so little institutional trust that theyâd seek a second opinion from Elon Muskâs bot would at the same time grant so much trust to a private individual openly profiting off of them, who has no fiduciary responsibilities or ethical commitment to the user. How did we get to the point that we trust those who baldly exploit us over the systems with safeguards to protect our own wellbeing? How were people convinced to get trust to back-assward?!
Blue Castle Book Club Catch-up Post 2
"because she wanted to make one foolish, extravagant purchase in her life"
Okay, I see what Valancy is going for, but I do feel compelled to point out that her whole marriage has kind of been a series of foolish, extravagant purchases. She has bought herself many treats. Which, genuinely not judging -- I think Valancy should get all the treats she wants, and I love me a pair of cute shoes. It just also very much reminds me of when I want fancy coffee and go, 'I should get nice things once in a while too!' while deliberately not thinking about how I literally just got fancy coffee last week.
"Valancy always had a sense of stepping from one world to anotherâfrom reality to fairylandâwhen she went out of Port Lawrence and in a twinkling found it shut off behind her by the armies of the pines."
The fairyland motif reappears!
"She looked at Barney, hunched up beside her. His silence was very eloquent. Had the same thought occurred to him? Did he suddenly find himself confronted by the appalling suspicion that he was married, not for a few months or a year, but for good and all to a woman he did not love and who had foisted herself upon him by some trick or lie?"
I know Valancy is anxiety-spiraling here, and LMM is very good at portraying her mind running away with her with no regard for reason or logic, but I desperately wish that she had one friend she could confide in. Because literally anyone would look at what just happened and go, "Valancy, he likes you and he was worried you were going to die in a very upsetting and dramatic way. Yeah, he's shaken up about it. This is the silence of a man who is much more likely to be going 'oh God my wife almost got run over by a train' not 'Curse my wife, that lying hussy, tricking me into the marriage bed through fiendish deception!'"
But Valancy's one friend is dead, and she has no one else. So when her one social connection goes silent (and thank you to whoever it was -- @akallabeth-joie maybe? [ETA: found it! It was @purple-crayoner]-- who pointed out that the silent treatment was Mrs. Stirling's weapon of choice when she was mad at Valancy) she immediately assumes the worst and doom spirals.
A progression: "They had gone around the lake one June evening in their disappearing propeller" becomes "In silence Barney steered his boat into the sunset miracle that was Mistawis." Valancy is already writing herself out of their life.
And Barney, who has apparently never developed a coping mechanism in his entire life other than 'go silent and run away' (honestly: mood)... goes silent and then runs away. Honestly, my man could have left a note. A short "Gone out, don't wait for me to eat, may not be back until tomorrow' probably wouldn't have convinced Valancy that he still wants her around, but it is the considerate thing to do for a housemate, whether you love them or not.
I'm honestly finding myself running out of patience for Valancy's doom spiraling about Barney, but that's a me problem. I have spent a lot of time and mental energy teaching myself to believe people when they tell me things, largely because I have been on the receiving end of a couple, 'you don't really like me, you're just pretending to like me, I know you're just looking for an excuse to leave!' relationships. It's honestly kind of exhausting to manage. Again, I wish Valancy had just, like, one friend who could let her sleep over and be a sounding board.
But instead she goes to see Dr. Trent, who doesn't cover himself with any glory but makes some fairly understandable assumptions. You probably shouldn't call patients idiots to their faces though. Especially when it's you who made the mistake.
(Also, this is the USian in me speaking, but it makes sense that she wouldn't have sought a second opinion? Doctors are expensive and he was the specialist. This isn't a GP saying go see an expert, this is the expert saying 'here is my diagnosis.' Especially because the other available doctor, Dr. Marsh, isn't a heart specialist.)
The Blanched Soldier pt 3
Back to Holmes, who has been carefully concealing practically every thought he had about this case while it was going on to preserve the drama of the situation. There's something about tar. I'm willing to bet that the other character with Godfrey is a doctor of some sort, though I honestly can't remember his name.
âThis is very sudden, Colonel Emsworth,â said he. âThis will disarrange all our plans.â
So they do have plans beyond 'keep Godfrey hidden for the rest of eternity'. Good to know.
...at the sight of him my client sprang forward with outstretched hand. [...] But the other waved him back.
So it's contagious? That doesn't explain why it's a secret. Is it an STD?
I am growing impatient.
One could see that he had indeed been a handsome man with clear-cut features sunburned by an African sun, but mottled in patches over this darker surface were curious whitish patches which had bleached his skin.
Vitiligo? Is it vitiligo? But why would he be hiding away because of vitiligo?
âOld Ralph told me you were there, and I couldn't help taking a peep at you."
That's sweet, and sad, and a little weird.
âYou remember that morning fight at Buffelsspruit, outside Pretoria, on the Eastern railway line? You heard I was hit?â
Oh no, my racism alarm is starting to chime. I should have seen this coming when they were talking about the Boer war, but foolishly I thought that would all be background.
"I have a dim memory of slowly ascending the steps, entering a wide-opened door, passing into a large room which contained several beds, and throwing myself down with a gasp of satisfaction upon one of them."
But the first bed was too hard. So he went to the second bed, but that one was too soft. So then he tried the third bed and that one was just right.
So he didn't knock. He just... walked in and went to sleep. I get you'd been shot and you were on death's door, but that is still trespassing.
"In front of me was standing a small, dwarf-like man with a huge, bulbous head, who was jabbering excitedly in Dutch, waving two horrible hands which looked to me like brown sponges. Behind him stood a group of people who seemed to be intensely amused by the situation, but a chill came over me as I looked at them. Not one of them was a normal human being. Every one was twisted or swollen or disfigured in some strange way."
Oh no... we took a slight right at racism and stepped into racism and ableism. Wonderful.
"The laughter of these strange monstrosities was a dreadful thing to hear."
Fuuuuck you, Godfrey.
I get that waking up surrounded by people who are laughing at you and you can't understand them is unpleasant. But 'monstrosities'? Seriously. And if you don't knock before letting yourself into someone else's house, you can't then be rude about them. That's not how it works.
OK... so this vein continues for some time. I'm not going to put any more of it here... It's pretty much the same level of dumbfuckery.
"'You are in the Leper Hospital, and you have slept in a leper's bed.â"
Ugh, I thought 'leprosy' then I didn't say it because it seemed too far.
Of course it's leprosy. or Hansen's Disease as it's mostly known now in order to try to distance it from the stigma attached to 'leprosy'. Honestly, this is definitely typical for the attitude to the disease at the time. It might even be lighter than usual, because the family are keeping him on the grounds and haven't shipped him off somewhere never to be heard from again.
The fact that Holmes has brought an expert in makes me think that this has all been a false alarm, though. Why bring an outside opinion if they're just going to confirm 'yup, leprosy'
"It is not illegal, however, to keep a lunatic upon private premises so long as there is a qualified person in attendance and that the authorities have been duly notified. Why, then, all this desperate desire for secrecy?"
Because apparently everyone is horribly afraid of losing their family reputation?
âIt is often my lot to bring ill-tidings and seldom good,â said he. âThis occasion is the more welcome. It is not leprosy.â
~*Chekhov's Expert*~
Interestingly, the UK Gov website says that Hansen's Disease has an incubation period of 5 months to 20 years... or longer. So just because Godfrey doesn't have it now, doesn't mean he'll never have it. And no one knows how it spreads. Though it seems like it's a lot more difficult to get than people think.
It might be spread by armadillos. It's a mystery!
There is, however, a cure, these days. Though I don't think there was back when this story was written, considering the cure is antibiotics.
"But the lady has fainted! I think that Mr. Kent had better be with her until she recovers from this joyous shock.â
Let's hope she doesn't contract brain fever because of it. That would be kind of ironic.
"1. What was learning like for them as a child? Did they attend a school setting or learn in another way?" for all the androids!! and iirc a couple of them went to university so wondering if education was different for them compared to non-androids lol
YEAH ANDROIDS
The most general thing to know about android education is that they all went through some form of having their brains pickled in encyclopedias prior to being assembled into full working systems. This process was most refined with Dez, since he's the youngest and has benefited from all of the developments of the earlier androids, and least comprehensive with Mizzat, because the university team that built vim was like, "vi mostly just needs to know about math, soooooâŚ"
Mizzat is the only one who has had a truly Formal education. Since vi was built to be a math professor vi had an honorary degree from the University of the Second Akkanswl when vi started out, but vi went on to not only get an actual doctorate in math - I'm gonna tentatively say with a focus on discrete geometry but that just seemed like the best choice from ten minutes of trying to understand what Cornell's math PhD concentrations are - which vi did so the degree part wouldn't seem like such a lie but also because there's way more to math than just the calculus vi was pickled in and teaches. Vi did have the benefit of having a very personable build team that was happy to teach vim stuff and also to accept their own mistakes in their approach. But vi has learned a lot just by being extremely curious, with unrestricted access to both the network and the university library. Vi has considered going for more degrees, because vi has a ridiculous amount of time on vis hands despite being a teacher (vi has literally all hours of the day to do things) and really needs to pick up another research project or five.
Imjen had a quasi-formal education via the medical school and hospital at the University of the Fifth Akkanswl, where zi was built. Zi was taught how to interact and later to do schedustrar and nurse work by various experts, but was essentially a privately tutored student. But there was a lot of stuff that zir supervisory team didn't bother to teach zim, probably because they just expected zim to pick it up like a normal swl child. Which zi kind of did, by taking all of zir opportunities to just sort of wander the city. They mostly didn't try to stop zim but they also didn't love it when zi started to have political opinions and such. Because Imjen looks extremely like a normal swl, it's easy for zim to dip in and out of normal swl areas and learn by watching other people. That has also fueled zir weird relationship with passing as nondroid. In recent years Imjen has started attending night classes about random non-computer-science things, which zir supervisors like. But it's partly just to befriend the professors so they'll teach zim more things. Zi feels oddly comfortable around professors, probably because zi has known a lot of them, but the comp sci ones always look at zim a little bit like a cut of meat.
Syndy was extra extra pickled in her prebuild stages because Gweltsen knew that they weren't going to have the opportunity to teach her much - because of their terminal illness, but also because of hiding her sapience from everyone else. But they did walk her through the legal questions surrounding her and teach her a random assortment of things from their own experience. Hoven was around for a small fraction of the time she was with Gweltsen, too. She also learned more than she cares to admit from her memories of her unconscious time as a postal robot ("Sintii-bot"). There's a lot of data in there about the ways people interact. Plus there was a fair amount of time at night where she was conscious but unsupervised and so could fuck with the computer system or peel open packages she wasn't supposed to look at or mess with the ceiling tiles. But everything else she's pretty much learned from romcoms and period dramas.
Dez was moderately pickled, closer to Syndy's level than the others'. He has never even looked upon a school (unless you count the one on Elbas Island), let alone been in one. He's technically been homeschooled, in a very laissez-faire fashion that has mostly been penmanship, art class, and a lot of tooling around in Anni's workshop that we could call shop class. A huge chunk of what he knows has been gleaned from watching documentaries, and also becoming obsessed with something (spies, astrogeology, snow) and reading up on it with an introductory textbook open next to the super high level article he wants to read Right Now. He hates reading physical books, though, so he's always reading them in his internal viewer. Anni is neither his teacher nor his mom but she's kinda played the role of both, as has Julian. Julian works from home and also manages the bills so he's done a lot of explaining about things. Peter could be considered a guest lecturer in art and dogs. Zel and Urma are more like the substitute teachers who come in and have you watch a movie in class, except Zel also gives him his vicarious video game fix, and he has seen a lot of interactions via moderating her stream chats.
#can't decide if I prefer zi/zir/zis or zi/zim/zir. I don't think Imjen would care either way#c: Mizzat#c: Imjen#c: Dez#c: Syndy#wip: tfa#backstory & motivation ask game
Ohhhh, you know what would be beautiful?
We'll have River meet Yaz - that needs to happen anyway in my book - maybe she'll show up at the support group or something. And then we need the Doctor Moon in her pocket on some device (sneakily listening in on the companions talking or maybe River muted herself for the therapy session) and we need a working hologram implant on Yaz.
And then they meet :)
(tbh I am very tempted to draw Dr. Moon on some screen perched on a desk side by side with hologram!13 watching with puzzled looks as Yaz and River flirt in the background)
I am very in love with the phone Dr. Moon idea. Even if it is revealed he isn't the Doctor (or it never is revealed whether he is). It can be a little bit like 12 in Clara's ear in Flatline, making commentaries and helping out technically. Or I assume like Mr Smith, but I don't actually know SJA, so Idk how fitting that comparison actually is.
If he still is in the library and live streaming and not just some downloaded copy, we could have Anita or Cal or someone take over from time to time to say hello to River and help out.
River has an archaeological problem: "Sweetie, get me Dave for a second, will you? This is his specialty subject, I need a second opinion and frankly, in this regard you are - practically useless."
"River! I am in the biggest library in the universe! I can just look it -"
"This is no book knowledge, dear, and we're kinda [in whatever mortal danger they are in]. Dave? Please? In your own time?"
And obligatory "River thinks Yaz is the Doctor" for a sec PLEASE! Yeah i think it'd be epic if they met and the hologram started glitching in and out of different versions of the Doctor bc of interference from both River and Doctor Moon.
Yeah, it's a whole pocket sized expert team!
ANITA i kind of forgot that was lowkey obsessed with Anita, do you wanna see a moodboard type thing i made for her?
Well i'm showing you anyways. If River has some contact with the Library inhabitants still, i DEFO wanna see some more character moments for Anita. She got her face back, is she still genius? If personality traits can be changed so easily when you are just code - how can you be sure that you are a real you? Basically i want some existential themes, questioning humanity and all that jazz, her arc would fit nicely with River's here, since River is also just code now. How easily River can be changed from outside, who got her out of the Library and for what purpose and what is the price? It can very quickly go extremely dark, but i hope we can keep the balance
