Bruna Vilamala x Eriksson!Reader
Hardersson x Sister!Reader
Summary: Your sister meets your girlfriend
Tumblr media
In a feat of amazing strength and character, Bruna ended up tackling both Frido and Ingrid to the ground and distracting them for long enough for you and Lena to make a break to it.
You made good on your promise and took her to dinner at some up class fancy restaurant that you both ended up abandoning in favour of some greasy fried food that absolutely broke your diets.
You'd been with each otherever since, flying back and forth between Spain and Germany to spend time together. You go on holiday with each other. You go to the markets.
Your whole life used to be football and trying to make sure Lena didn't do something stupid like argue with the wrong player. Now Bruna slipped in too.
Football.
Bruna.
Making sure Lena didn't split her head open on a rock.
Bruna.
"Do you want to meet my sisters?"
Bruna's head is on your shoulder, staring at the tv as she flicks between channels. "What?"
"Well, I guess, Pernille's not actually my sister but she and Magda have been gross and in love for years so she's practically my sister too. Would you like to meet them?"
Bruna looked confused. "They know about me?"
"Was I meant to keep you a secret?" You teased, leaning down to kiss her. "You don't have to meet them if you don't want to. They'll be in town in a few days so I just wanted to put the offer on the table."
Bruna still looked a bit anxious. "You can't just say that like it's nothing. It's Magdalena Eriksson and Pernille Harder. They're practically living legends."
"They're idiots," You replied decisively," And they're just coming round so they can mooch off me and get in my business. They'll probably ask you if you really tackled Frido and then Magda might even give you a medal."
"I thought she and Frido were friends."
You shrugged. "They are but they like seeing each other in uncomfortable situations. True friendship and whatever." You flung your arm around Bruna. "Do you want to meet them?"
"I'll meet them."
Magda and Pernille arrived promptly in front of your apartment at ten in the morning a few days later and you rolled off the sofa with a groan. Bruna hovered by your shoulder, shifting her weight from one foot to another as you opened the door.
Magda grabbed at you easily, pulling you into a headlock and rubbing her knuckles over your hair.
"Hey! Hey! Get off!"
Pernille slipped through your grappling bodies to shake Bruna's hand - who was staring wide-eyed in shock at the way you and your sister immediately started fighting.
"Don't mind them," Pernille said," They'll knock if off soon. Have you guys got any juice?" She didn't wait for an answer, just heading straight for the fridge to pour herself a glass.
Bruna watched as you tore yourself from Magda's grip, jumping onto her back and trying to force her to the ground.
"Aren't you meant to be mature?" Magda said condescendingly, pinching at your cheek. "I don't think your girlfriend's very happy at seeing you act like such a child."
Bruna blushed heavily at being introduced into the conversation and opened and closed her mouth several times before settling on not speaking.
"Just because I'm younger and more talented-" You shoved Magda away and smoothed out your t-shirt "-Doesn't mean that you have to be so jealous."
"Jealous?" Magda scoffed," D'you hear that Pernille? She thinks I'm jealous! Hey, I made you into the player you are today."
"The only thing you made me do," You said with an eye roll, sliding over to rest a hand on Bruna's waist," Is run away to Germany to get away from your big head. But, of course, you followed me here too, you stalker."
Magda flicked you on the forehead before turning to Bruna.
"Terribly sorry you have to put up with her all the time," She said," I'm Magda, the prettier, more talented sister."
"You've got a girlfriend!" You lifted Bruna away. "Don't try and steal mine!"
Magda shrugged. "I can't help it if I'm more charming than you."
"Magda," Pernille said across the room in warning.
Magda quickly sent her a smile, suddenly red face and embarrassed. "But, of course, no one compares to you, Pernille."
"Hmm. I thought so."
"They're so gross," You whispered to Bruna though with the fondness of somebody who had been around this kind of stuff for years. You grinned at her, all confidence and cockiness. "I want to be like that with you in a few years."
Bruna's cheeks coloured slightly at your declaration. "I...I'd like that too."
"What are you smiling about?" Magda asked as your face lit up like a kid on their birthday.
"Nothing you need to worry about, nosey. I don't budge into your conversations with Pernille, do I?"
Magda groaned loudly. "How do you put up with her, Bruna? You deserve a medal."
"Don't mind them," Pernille said, finally inserting herself into the conversation properly after suitably raiding your fridge for refreshments," It's very nice to meet you, Bruna."
She jerked her head over to where you and Magda were bickering again, quick Swedish being traded between you two.
"Why don't we go and sit down and let them sort each other out?"
"Are they okay? I mean, do they not need to be interrupted?"
"They're always like this," Pernille said dismissively," Give them another ten minutes and they'll come back laughing. Now, I'm more interested in how you two met. Frido said that you tackled her?"
True to her word, it only took ten minutes for you and Magda to calm down, clapping each other on the back and laughing like you hadn't just squabbled and physically fought each other for the past half an hour.
Magda collapsed in the armchair next to Pernille while you slouched next to Bruna, an arm automatically wrapping around her shoulders.
"It's nice to meet you," Magda said eventually," I've heard all about you from Frido."
For some reason that made Bruna feel a bit nervous. "All good?"
"Excellent, more like," Magda said," Which is a little annoying because I was banking on you being insufferable. I've got this track record of hating all of y/n's partners but you're as clean as a whistle. Begrudgingly, I have to like you."
"High praise from Magda," You whispered in Bruna's ears," Congrats, babe, you're officially the favourite sister."
Her face flushed an even deeper red than earlier. "That quickly?"
"That quickly."
You leaned down to press a kiss to Bruna's lips, taking quite a lot of care to not deepen it while Magda and Pernille were over.
"If you two are done sucking face," Magda said," Can we order food now? I'm starving."

Spooky Season Shenanigans for the Nekos Part 1
Tumblr media
America-Cat
He begins to gather clumps from his litter box and soil that is damp from the backyard. America cat has taken some of his owners socks which he uses as casings to store his ‘ammunition’. This crazy cat is even in the midst of crafting an underground lair of sorts. He’s stored a few long lighters, fireworks, toilet paper rolls, eggs he’s brought to ‘ferment’, masks, costumes, etc. America cat is going to be putting on an entire production. If he already wasn’t the King of Halloween this will make him the king now for like ever meow!
Canada-Cat
Has gone to cat markets, candle shops, and bakeries where cat’s all over the world come to visit when Sept 1st hits. There is one shop in particular that sells this legendary Maple Fish Cake, which only available during this time of year. They’re so popular in fact that they have to limit cats with only being able to purchase 5 of these specialty cakes for the season. [Yes, there were many years where scammer cats hoarded the entire stock of cakes in the morning. They’d mark up the price of them 300% to say that ridiculous is an understatement but the cakes are that yummy. And they may or may not have a special cat-nip lacd in them]
Canada-cat tentatively passes by the costume shops debating with himself on if he’s going to attend his brothers cat’s annual Halloween party and prank-a-thon.
China-Cat
Busy raiding his owners' pastry / cookbooks to make an entire special Fall menu of food for the season. He will do more to spend time in the sun while it still lasts. China-cat wants his dark chestnut fur to get nice and toasty so he can store it away for the Winter months. [So his old bones don’t get frozen and brittle.] China-cats favorite pass time is to go to Yi Dian Dian & The Alley once or twice a day to get a hot or cold milk tea that occasionally has Boba in it.
England-Cat
His tail will be flicking back and forth lowly on the carpet. The season where he got to be on the fresh grass or out on the open sea. When he daydreamed about the wide open waters he thought about the days that he was a mouser alongside his swashbuckling and commanding owner. As England cat was in the midst of his thoughts clouds made the sky darker and the air became colder. When his head rises he was able to catch the last milliseconds of a lightning boldt. He hears low chattering rising from the basement.
‘Arthur must be at it again so he can try to win Halloween this year against that Yank. I guess now is a good time for me to maybe get ready for America cats shenanigans this year as well.’
France-Cat
He’d invited ‘Charmy Chartreux,’ a famous cat known for doing home holiday decorating, planning, and execution. By the time Spet rolls around, France cat will be ready for the season of the spooky but make it posh & elegant. Tangerine tea lights, pumpkins with the flur de lese, macaroons, & the Eiffel Tower carved into them. He even managed to make a deal with Canada-Cat to have a shipment of Maple Fish Cakes sent to him.
Germany-Cat
Planning safety guides for cats and what to do when you’ve had too much cat-nip contingent plans. He knows America-cat is planning an insane rager complete with ill-advised pranks, stunts, and performances all meant to stroke his ego. Germany-cat also makes note to buy extra sausages, treats, and Apfelsaft (Apple Juice—just make it sparkling). He does this so no cat is on an empty stomach and has its whiskers twisted by catnip.
Italy Cats
They haven’t thought about Halloween all that much. They’re just vibing with the season changes. The crisper air carried the fresh scent of harvested grapes, olives, pumpkins, etc. The two of them love stealing Felicianos tortelli di zucca (pumpkin soup), minestrone, and strudel di mele.
“Germany! Germany! Help me! The kitties have run a-way with my delicious food again!”
Japan-Cat
Yet, another cat who loves to watch the season transition into the next. He adores watching the thousands of leaves float down to the ground. The mesmerizing colors of the fall leaves are cornsilk, fawn, midnight greens, and burnt oranges. All these colors melded together to create a beautiful scene that is ephemeral and sort of angelic in a way. Japan-cat has a special stash of tuna that he likes to eat when he finds a magnificent view.
While he eats he’s working out how he’ll survive another America-cat rager.
Russia-Cat
Happily roaming the streets receiving belly rubs, scratchies, and treats from the last of the summertime tourists. Halloween only seems to come to his mind when his owner mentions it or begins to decorate for it mid-September. When Ivan does begin to get the decorations out Russia-cat gets far too comfortable in the organs of one of the pumpkins Ivan has made.
“Really, my little cat?” He crouches down to pet his loveable but somewhat mischievous cat.
“Meow.” (Da.) Russia-cats beady eyes will be looking at Ivan like: “I’m cute and a cat. What are you not understanding? I’m number one now, BELLY RUBS human BELLY RUBS!”

first of all: all female readers reading content clearly not meant for them and then having the audacity to comment mean shit under those fics are absolute dimwits and should be treated as such. I don’t drink a bottle of acid that says ‘don’t drink’ and then complain about nearly dying, that is just so stupid. Just let mlm writers in peace, they already carter to a smaller audience anyway.
second, I live in Germany, and trying to sell anything here is just so much effort (all the memes about Germans and paperwork are true, I had to fill out four different forms just to own a stand at a flea market last year) so we’re probs just gonna feed the entire neighbourhood with plums for the next couple weeks, or sell it at the next neighbourhood market. And my dad’s started making plum liquor, cooking jam and making pies while a lot of the plum slices just get frosted.
Bear is literally being feed pure plum by now, this man exists purely on plum
bear momma (very nice little lady, ten outta ten mother-in-law although I ain’t marred yet) gets jam and plums too
and a few new friends are getting jam as well, I delivered it on my bike like ‘Kiki’s little delivery Service’
anyway, Wolverine and Deadpool…. Are giving me a brainrot no man should have…. Wolverine on a cross….. mmmmhhh…. (Bear is trapped in the same mindset, mutual in-loveness with Hugh Jackmans hairy abs)
🛶 anon <3
Genuinely being a male reader inserter writer has been one of the strangest things solely because of incidents like these 😭 like I would never go onto a fem reader insert fic and comment how gross the content is like it’s clearly not meant for me?😭 and then you’ll have ppl getting mad that I’m making a character gay when 99% of the time their sexuality isn’t of significance 😭
Also such a shame you can’t sell it without having to deal with tons of paperwork 😪 and also such a shame I’m so far away bc I would love some delicious plum, plum jam and plum juice!!! And to have it delivered by you in kiki delivery service style !!!
Oh to have my own bear that I can just feed with fruit picked from my very own garden😪
SEE HE GETS IT AS WELL need Wolverines belly round and full of my children I mean who said that not me

foods with aggressively interesting texture that i dearly love to eat, and why escargot doesn’t make the cut
I. seafood
skate in brown butter
fish eggs! caviar tho if it’s affordable it tends to be too salty, better: shad roe like you get in stockholm in september; ikura (also tobiko etc but not as much as ikura my beloved)
grilled squid, grilled octopus, grilled cuttlefish. not overcooked. like they do it in portugal
raw squid/ika
this japanese place in nyc that unfortunately closed a while back used to do a ceviche type thing with bits of raw octopus in wasabi sauce? hhh
tiritas which is a ceviche where you cut up freshly caught tuna (and/or shrimp, etc) mix with lime juice sliced red onions chopped fresh jalapeño let sit for half an hour devour. this was in guerreros, halfway round the world from here, and i would go back for it
raw sweet shrimp/amaebi
oysters
raw fish in general: most of the sashimi you see in decent nyc places (default baseline selection not nearly as extensive in germany, although they do go in widely for scallops. creditable line on one fish market and one expensive restaurant yet to try)
II. not seafood but texturally adjacent to the above
lychees, fresh or tinned
tapioca pudding
steak tartare
carpaccio
that italian thin steak deal that’s raw on one side; very rare steak generally
escargot did not click, i think, because i wanted it to be seafood, and it wasn’t. it was missing an oceanic quality i irrationally wanted it to have. it’s also notable that most of the things on this list are raw, and that i decidedly prefer the raw items to the nonraw ones
i do also have textural Aversions, mostly soggy-sweet things in the cold savory food sector. marinated red peppers. floppy flaccid limp salad greens. condiments and dressings based on mayo of dubious provenance—ranch, british cocktail sauce, russian salads, a nasty orange condiment germany uses to make jackson pollock patterns on random plates of food or ruin a perfectly good burger. all of this stuff makes everything wet and drippy and soggy and i hate it. (it’s also usually sickly sweet. but even where sweet isn’t a problem, soggy is still bad! i don’t want a scoop of ice cream on top of my hot baked dessert, bc it will melt in two minutes, and then where will we be? nowhere good, that’s where. asking for the ice cream on the side is too fussy. don’t even mention custard to me)

World Pharmacists Day
World Pharmacists Day on September 25 is a celebration of every pharmacist, pharmaceutical scientist, and others who are part of this field. Four million people are engaged in this profession around the globe. World Pharmacists Day is thus not only a welcome event, but it is also a crucial holiday to honor the role these guys play in improving global health outcomes. The day is marked by events and activities sponsored by various governmental and non-governmental organizations. Globally, they all have one common goal — to increase awareness about pharmacists and their roles.
History of World Pharmacists Day
The ancient art of pharmacy probably began when someone somewhere first thought of applying the juice from leaves to heal a wound. There have also been Greek legends written centuries ago that spoke of gods being apothecaries or pharmacists. The Greek god of healing, Asclepius, delegated the compounding of his remedies to Hygieia, his apothecary or pharmacist.
For the longest time, healing and pharmacy went hand-in-hand and were often thought of as the same practice. The line between pharmacy and medicine began to be defined by the eighth century and was firmly established by the time the 17th century rolled along. Now, physicians could no longer prepare medications for their patients themselves. The field transformed yet again with the onslaught of World War II. New drugs were constantly introduced into the market, and the role of the pharmacist became more defined than ever.
Today’s pharmacist performs multiple vital duties. Their tasks include identifying and providing people with the right medication, overseeing stocking and restocking of medicines, and staying ahead of medicine expiry dates. This is probably why the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) established this day to honor all pharmacists. The premier global body to represent all pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists, the FIP aims to support the pharmacist network and the development of this profession. The reason behind the date for the annual celebrations can also be traced back to the FIP. According to the founders of this day, they wanted to honor the organization that was doing so much for pharmacists. This is why they picked the date the FIP was established — September 25, 1912.
World Pharmacists Day timeline
1618 The Oldest Drug Reference Book
Backed by King James I and used by the Royal College of Physicians, the book “Pharmacopoeia Londinensis” names and controls the sale of medicines.
1821 First Pharmacy College in the U.S.
The very first college to train pharmacists in America is the 'The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy' — now called Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science.
September 29, 1982 Changing the Way Pills Are Sold
Cyanide-laced Tylenol capsules kill seven people in Chicago after which tamper-resistant packaging becomes the new norm for pharmaceutical companies.
2008 An Artificial Pharmaceutical Assistant
The RIVA robotic device automatically prepares medicines, setting new pharmaceutical safety standards and reducing the chances of human error.
2009 An Idea Takes Root
At the International Pharmaceutical Federation's council meeting in Turkey, members float an idea to celebrate all pharmacists by founding a special World Pharmacists Day.
World Pharmacists Day FAQs
What is the theme of the World Pharmacist Day 2021?
The official theme for World Pharmacist Day 2021 was “Pharmacy: Always Trusted For Your Health,” to highlight how this part of the health sector — and its people — have always been trusted by the public.
What is national pharmacist day?

Countries like China, Germany, the U.S., and Europe have consistently been the biggest producers of drugs and medicines over the past decades.
World Pharmacists Day Activities

What they do for the local community, how they've helped the global community, and which health services they are qualified to provide — learn all you can about this noble profession. Share this new information with everyone you know, so that they can celebrate this day too.
5 Cool Facts About Pharmacists
First-world pharmacists
Many pharmacists were famous people
The first commercial drug
The first pharmacy also sold traditional remedies
Ginger ale by accident
Around 90% of people in the U.S. live within five miles of a pharmacist — that's how many of these health professionals the country has.
Alexander Flemming (who discovered penicillin), Agatha Christie (world-famous crime author), and Hubert Humphrey (38th Vice President of the U.S.), are only some famous names who have also been pharmacists.
Pharmacists began selling the first mass-produced, pre-packaged drug called 'antipyrine' in 1883; by the 1900s, most medicines were sold by pharmacies this way.
Louis Dufilho, Jr., America's first licensed pharmacist, opened a pharmacy in New Orleans that sold Voodoo remedies, opium, and leeches, alongside traditional medicines.
A pharmacist named James Vernor was creating a mixture to calm the stomach when he accidentally made what would then be known as one of America's oldest soft drinks — 'Vernors Ginger Ale.'
Why We Love World Pharmacists Day
They're making the world richer
They're the most accessible
They make the world better
More than four million pharmacists worldwide had reportedly boosted the revenue of this market to around 1204.8 billion U.S.D! That's a big number, and it looks like it'll keep growing. We — and many governments, we're sure — love this positive growth.
Of all healthcare professionals, pharmacists are one of the easiest to get to. With a huge population of these professionals present worldwide, they have the potential and the opportunity to help people as soon as they are needed.
They readily use their expertise, knowledge, and skills to help us extract the best use from our medicines. Pharmacists are always ready to help, which is why we love that there's a special day dedicated to them.

BMG reports fastest growth and largest investment in music in the company's history
MUSICWEEK
by Andre Paine | March 30th 2023 at 12:31PM
Tumblr media
BMG has reported its fastest growth in the history of the company, which launched almost 15 years ago.
It’s a strong set of results for CEO Hartwig Masuch, as he prepares to hand over to Thomas Coesfeld next year.
The BMG financial performance in 2022 was published within the results of parent company Bertelsmann.
BMG increased revenues by 30.6% year-on-year (more than €200m) to €866m - the fastest growth ever recorded. Organic growth contributed 22.8%.
The recordings business grew by 38%, while publishing was up by 26%. Sync revenue across both was up 34%.
Streaming was key to the strong growth at BMG. Digital publishing revenue increased by 43%, while digital recorded revenue increased by 48%.
In a joint message to staff, Hartwig Masuch and Thomas Coesfeld wrote: "It was a historic year for BMG in which we grew our scale significantly, but just as importantly improved our capabilities, delivering more money more quickly than ever before to artists and songwriters with better service, underpinned by our core values of fairness and transparency.
"2022 proved once again that we are successful not in spite of those distinctively BMG values, but precisely because of them."
The UK was the second biggest territory by revenue (12.2%) after the US (53.9%). BMG’s home market of Germany was responsible for 12% of revenue.
During 2022, BMG also made its largest annual investment in music content to date, totalling more than half a billion euros.
BMG invested a record €50m in the acquisition of music catalogues and artist signings in 2022. In the financial year, BMG made 45 acquisitions in the catalogue sector alone, including the catalogues and licensing rights of artists such as Peter Frampton, Jean-Michel Jarre, Fools Garden, Harry Nilsson, Simple Minds, Primal Scream and Chris Rea.
In the recorded business, BMG concluded new contracts or extended existing ones with artists including Rita Ora, Logic, Julian Lennon, Marteria, Stefflon Don, Nickelback and Jason Aldean.
"Importantly, we are not just a passive financial investor in these prized catalogues," wrote Masuch and Coesfeld. "We are a music company committing to breathing new life into these artists’ legacies... These transactions reflect not just our belief in the future of music, but the belief of artists and songwriters that we will deliver for them and the belief of our parent, Bertelsmann, in our ability to execute on our strategy."
Top-selling albums in 2022 included releases by Jason Aldean, Louis Tomlinson, Mötley Crüe, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Backstreet Boys, Buena Vista Social Club, Kylie Minogue, and Bryan Adams.
In the publishing business, the catalogues of Bruno Mars, Mick Jagger & Keith Richards, Juice Wrld, Kurt Cobain and Roger Waters generated high revenues, noted BMG.
The year’s top-selling new releases for publishing came from artists including DJ Khaled, Kontra K, George Ezra, Carly Pearce, Maxwell, Riccardo Zanotti, Peter Fox, RAF Camora, Kraftklub, Max Giesinger and Johannes Oerding.
New contracts or contract extensions/renewals were signed with Halsey, Elvis Costello, Robin Kadir, Bazzazian, Slowthai, Jessie Reyez, Afrojack, Montez and Lucry.
Moonage Daydream, the film about David Bowie released by BMG, became the most successful documentary of 2022, with worldwide revenues of €12.2m.
BMG’s EBITDA was up more than €50m to €195m.

Moldovan economists and MEPs have welcomed the decision of the Commission for International Trade of the European Parliament which on Monday voted to extend by one year the suspension of taxes and import quotas on products exported from Moldova to the EU.
Moldovan economic expert Stas Madan told BIRN that the EU’s decision was predictable in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
“It is undoubtedly a long-awaited decision for our producers, especially those of plums and table grapes; exports to the EU markets have grown significantly in recent years and we have achieved an export performance that exceeds the existing duty-free [EU] quotas,” he said.
“A permanent liberalisation, as opposed to the temporary suspension of taxes and import quotas, will provide more predictability on the Moldovan market, which will thus be able to attract more important investors,” said MEP Siegfried Muresan, president of the EU Association Commission-Moldova.
Before the decision in force expires on July 24 2023, the European Parliament will vote in plenary on the proposal.
If it passes, the new measure will help Moldovan farmers affected by the war in Ukraine who can no longer export goods to Russia or Ukraine.
In 2022, the EU suspended import duties and raised quotas for seven Moldovan product categories subjected to tariff quotas: tomatoes, garlic, table grapes, apples, cherries, plums and grape juice.
Moldova has gradually exported more products to the European Union in recent years. Official statistics show that the value of exports from Moldova to the EU increased from 1.8 billion euros in 2021 to 2.6 billion euros in 2022.
Exports to Russia have fallen massively in recent years, especially since the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
In January-April 2023, the total value of exports of Moldovan goods amounted to 1.39 billion dollars, a fall of 4.8 per cent compared to the figure recorded in 2022.
Some 62 per cent of Moldovan exports went to the EU, 25 per cent to Russia and CIS markets, and the rest to other countries.
Of the total volume of exports in the mentioned period, over 61 per cent went to Romania, 16.7 per cent to Ukraine, 6.1 per cent to Italy, 5.4 per cent to Germany, 4.1 per cent to the Russian Federation and 4 per cent to Turkey.
Moldova’s exports to Russia totalled only 56.4 million US dollars in value.

preston ends up working at a local theatre as the primary director there!! the theatre's actors usually consist of high school students and the theatre ends up hosting a lot of larger high school or college plays, and preston has pressured quite a few colleges into doing some of his favorite plays. the happiest hes ever been was when he got to direct a heathers play. he literally came home and shoved the script in harrison and nerris' faces out of excitement.
harrison works as a magician at the same theatre. he did a few shows in other theatres, a few times in vegas. he wants to become a famous magician, (as preston does a famous actor), but likes his life where it is right now and wouldnt want to be moving all of the time for shows. plus, hes terrified of being seen as a freak of some sort of ridiculed. he does bigger shows every so often, dont think he doesnt, but he mainly does shows in his city.
nerris' job is in marketing. she hates it a lot but performance doesnt bring as much money in as theyd like so they have to put in effort. theyre honestly happy with it because while the job itself sucks, she likes seeing harrison and preston be able to do their own crafts.
nerris did not want a dog. preston and harrison found a dog being given away in a walmart parking lot. and thus, nerris woke up to a dog in their home. harrison named him mantacore after the roy and siegfried's tiger yk the one. he is a samoyed. he sleeps on the bed with them.
they dont have kids ever mostly because i really dont like kids im sorry but i feel as though preston would see a child and go "ew" and nerris is the only one with actually good parents so 2/3 of the kids parents would just not know what to do. soooo no kids
nerris binds but never gets top surgery!! this is mostly because some days they dont really get dysphoria, and they still like appearing feminine from time to time (though neutral is definitely their style like 75% of the time). this headcanon is made by me, someone who binds but does not want to get top surgery, half projecting onto nerris
harrison does not drink, preston sometimes does, nerris does. this doesnt rlly have a followup headcanon but i can only imagine harrison's introverted ass staring down at a cup of orange juice while at a party and then driving everyone else home
there are three bookshelves in the living room. you can tell whos is whos because one is filled with percy jackson and narnia and other fantasy books, another has every script to every play in existence ever as well as analysis books of creative theatre, and one has like four magic related books and mostly stores props. not to say harrison doesnt read, but he mostly steals from nerris' shelf when he wants to read.
every summer, the performance trio (along with the other adult campers) hangs out at camp campbell. the camp shut down after the kids all became adults, mostly because nobody wanted to send their kids to a camp known for being a money laundering scheme, housing a known criminal (cameron campbell), overall a big scam, and because the amount of fbi helicopters flying to the camp was enough to drive everyone else away. it was a miracle the campers were allowed to come back there the following summers.
as adults, the campers are all relatively good friends. dolph moved to germany, but he visits whenever he can, and neil is gone a lot doing research projects in different countries, but the campers still live relatively close together and hang out a lot. i cant see a universe where they stop talking after camp
in honor of the camp, and also because yellow grew on them after a while, yellow is still a color most of the campers wear pretty often, except for max, dolph, and space kid.
harrison is still scared of quartermaster. how is he not dead yet. it has been a decade. he looked old when david was a kid. why is he still here. what the fuck was up with that space octopus. what does he know.
i like to think at least once quartermaster showed up at the nerriston house, poked his hook at harrison and said "come with me" and harrison Just Did. he came back a day later looking absolutely disturbed. he probably saw a demon or something, knowing quartermaster.

Oh, I have a fun story about this one.
See, when I was living in Austria (between 2007 and 2011) it was fairly hard to get Punica juices in Austria, because most supermarkets did not stock Punica back in the day. However, after some research we found out that Spar, one of the largest supermarket chains in Austria, got their no name brand juice from the exact same brand that also produced Punica for Germany and Austria. Upon going into a Spar market we found that their no name juice actually came in Punica glass bottles. Like, back in the day, Punica mostly came in glass bottles where the glass itself had the Punica logo stamped into it. Like the no name bottle literally said "punica" on the glass, even though the paper lable said "no name Spar brand". Which was convenient, because it did cost only like 50% of what Punica normally cost and it was the exact same product.
We had one friend though who was so captivated by the advertisement, that he would swear on his grandmother's grave that this no name juice that LITERALLY CAME IN THE PUNICA BRANDED GLASS BOTTLES was totally different from real Punica juice. And no matter how much we let him blind taste test it (where he would be incapable of telling the differnce), he would still swear, it was not the same lol

Market Dynamics and Growth Drivers
Several factors are contributing to the robust growth of the global fruit and vegetable juice market:
Increasing Health and Wellness Trends: With a growing emphasis on healthy living, consumers are shifting towards beverages that are free from added sugars, preservatives, and artificial flavors. This has led to a rise in demand for 100% natural, organic, and cold-pressed juices.
Rising Awareness of Nutritional Benefits: The increasing awareness of the health benefits of fruits and vegetables, such as improved digestion, better immune function, and enhanced skin health, is driving the consumption of fruit and vegetable juices as part of daily diets.
Convenience and Ready-to-Drink Options: The growing demand for convenient, on-the-go beverages is fueling the popularity of packaged fruit and vegetable juices. Ready-to-drink juices that are easy to consume and require minimal preparation are particularly appealing to busy consumers.
Innovation in Flavors and Blends: Juice manufacturers are innovating by offering new combinations of fruit and vegetable juices to appeal to diverse consumer tastes. This includes exotic blends, functional juices (e.g., with added probiotics or vitamins), and cold-pressed options, which are seen as more nutritious.
Regional Analysis
North America: North America holds a significant share of the fruit and vegetable juice market, driven by the high demand for healthy beverages and the increasing popularity of organic products. In the U.S., consumer preference for fresh, nutrient-rich juices is growing, particularly in the organic and cold-pressed segments.
Europe: Europe is another prominent market for fruit and vegetable juices, with countries like Germany, France, and the UK leading in juice consumption. The rising trend of veganism and plant-based diets in Europe has also increased demand for plant-based juices.
Asia-Pacific: The Asia-Pacific region is expected to witness the highest growth in the coming years. With rising disposable incomes, a growing focus on health, and increasing awareness of the nutritional value of juices, countries like China, India, and Japan are becoming key markets for fruit and vegetable juices.

trick or treat!👹
Treat 👼 I'm going to give you a snippet of what I'm working on right now, and then some background thoughts! Content warning for bad family dynamics.
"Eat," their father gestured impatiently towards their plate. "Don't let it get cold. What is it that you want, then? I was under the impression that we had an agreement. You be a menace somewhere else, and we don't have to deal with you until you learn your lesson. Did you run out of money?" "Sebastian," their mother scolded, "do you have to be so cruel about it? Jan called me in tears yesterday," a statement that wasn't true, "about the job market these days. You know just as well how poorly the economy is doing right now." That, and Johannes had, in fact, run out of money. They began to prod the saddle of venison on their plate and watched its red juices pool, winding their way around warm orange butternut squash cubes and purple umeboshi plums. Somehow, they weren't particularly hungry.
Jan's family, the Brandt's, are incredibly wealthy. They're also first generation German immigrants. While writing them, I try to keep the drama of the Kardashians' interpersonal relationships in mind, while also trying to make the parenting very German. Their mother is doting but doesn't see them as their own person, and their father is brusque and accusatory and thinks this shapes character.
I have no idea what rich people eat, so I looked up the single most expensive restaurant in Germany, which turns out to be the Vendôme, and picked a meal off their menu online.
Jan hasn't actually run out of money. They feel like they've run out of money, because they just aren't used to frugality.
This character is my power fantasy for putting a rich guy through it and making them learn how to interact with normal people :)

Nutraceutical Products Market Expected to Reach $691.87 Billion by 2030, Growing at a 7.8% CAGR
The Nutraceutical Products Market is projected to reach $691.87 billion by 2030, registering a robust CAGR of 7.8% from 2023 to 2030, according to a new report by Meticulous Research®.
The rising demand for nutraceuticals is driven by the aging population, the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, and growing awareness about the role of nutrition in disease prevention and healthy living.

In regions like Europe and North America, this figure could rise to one in four. Additionally, the number of people aged 80 and above is forecasted to triple, from 143 million in 2019 to 426 million by 2050. As the elderly population grows, so too does the need for nutraceuticals that support healthy aging and the prevention of age-related diseases.
