Something that's always confused me in EC is why the hell so many members of the Marlon and Beelzenian royal families look like Adam and Meta respectively. Eve's lookalikes can be explained away pretty easily by virtue of literally being her, but there's no explanation for Adam and Meta.

Thus, I would like to propose this theory.

Adam influenced the way Marlon men look like from Grim the End similar to how Eve influenced Mikulia's appearance. Karchess's appearance is genuinely a coincidence, but the later generations were influenced by Adam. (credit for this part of the theory goes to @gecemi09)

But what about Meta? She's not in a vessel, she's just dead.

Well, it's established in canon that Hänsel and Gretel are fated to reincarnate over and over again. What if they're also fated to find a woman who looks like Meta to follow? They didn't reincarnate in Lust arc (or if they did, they were off doing something else) so they never met Maylis, but they adored Banica. Germaine could've been the intended Meta lookalike for Riliane and Allen, but Prim threw that off. Maybe that's why Abyss I.R wanted Germaine in the first place, so she could better control Hänsel and Gretel's incarnations through her. Since Irina took over Germaine's body, Germaine never had any kids that would lead to another lookalike for Lemy, but that didn't end up mattering in the end since Lemy was adopted by Julia.

And then along comes Envy arc and Mei and Rin. It's always been odd to me that Riliane reincarnated in Enbizaka at all, but what if that's just another result of her being a failed reincarnation of Gretel? It's entirely possible that the twins were supposed to reincarnate in Enbizaka, but since they're in the glass and Allen's in the Black Box, Riliane was the only one who actually did. That's why Mei looks like Meta, because Gretel's incarnation was supposed to have a mother that looked like her first mother once again.

But that's just a theory.

Introducing my Daughter of Light AU! ☀️

In this AU, Rilliane meets a version of her from another universe (who we’ll just name Rin). Rin drains Rilliane’s life source, leaving her very weakened but still alive. Rin leaves her in the basement to rot while she takes her place as the queen of the country. Rin’s first order of business is to make a public announcement to the entire kingdom, telling everyone that she (as Rilliane) has realized her wrongdoings and apologizes, even agreeing to give away half of her money to show everyone that she’s a good person now. The citizens are surprised by this, since Rilliane is a cruel ruler, but they accept this new change. Rin proves her worth as a queen as she is super kind and generous to everyone she meets, winning the hearts of the entire kingdom. But Allen knows deep inside that this girl isn’t the sister he loves…he confronts her one day and asks “Where is my real sister?” and Rin replies by saying “Your sister is gone now, and she’s never coming back.” Allen refuses to give up on Rilliane though, and that ends up with him being thrown into the basement, where he finds Rilliane who is barely clinging onto life.

Despite Rin’s good deeds, Germaine and Kyle (disguised as Karchess) decide to raid the palace anyway because it’s suspicious how she switched up so quickly. In this AU, Michaela survived the Green Hunting and wants revenge for her other green-haired friends. Clarith tags along because she wants to be there to protect Michaela. The army confronts Rin, and at first, Rin tries to manipulate everyone, reminding them of all the good she’s been doing. When she realizes they don’t believe her, she shapeshifts into her true form, a shadowy figure with multiple colored eyes scattered all over her body. Rin goes on a rampage, brutally mutilating any citizens that come across her path. Germaine, Kyle, Michaela, and Clarith run into the basement to hide from her, where they find Allen and what’s left of Rilliane. At this point, Rilliane looks like a fusion of a person and a skeleton. Allen tries to hold up a stoic and urgent demeanor, but breaks down into tears, begging them to do whatever they have to do to save Rilliane. In this AU, Clarith is skilled with magic and witchcraft. Michaela asks Clarith to help, and so Clarith decides to check out the damage using a spell. She explains that in order for Rilliane to become her normal self again, they must steal her life source back from Rin. Clarith tells them that Rin must be struck in the heart by a sword and Rilliane’s life source can be obtained inside the sword. Allen volunteers to kill her because boy is he fucking pissed. Allen confronts Rin again, and they engage in an epic battle where Allen almost dies but manages to stab Rin at the last second. As Rin slowly dies, she shapeshifts back into Rilliane and Allen looks away because it’s too painful to watch. Once Rin is dead and Rilliane’s life source is contained inside the sword, Germaine and Kyle carry Rilliane all the way to Clarith’s house. Allen gives Clarith the sword and she stabs Rilliane in the arm. Clarith explains that she stabbed her because there needs to be a connection between the sword and Rilliane. Then, Clarith performs a big spell which transfers Rilliane’s life source to her body. The princess is back to normal, only without the Demon of Pride possessing her. Rilliane cries in Allen’s arms, apologizing to everyone for being such an awful ruler. Germaine tells her they all forgive her but she’ll have to do community service in order to pay for her crimes. Rilliane ends up working alongside Clarith and Michaela at the Freezis mansion, and she decides to cut her hair to start anew. Allen becomes the temporary ruler of the kingdom until Rilliane’s served her time. He visits her occasionally and loves her new look.

based off @groriatrevi10xx ‘s pic of Brittany as Riliane Lucifen D’Autriche (Rin) in the vocaloid song Daughter Of Evil. when i saw that pic, i knew that since Brittany was Riliane/Rin, then RH would have to be Germaine Avadonia (Meiko), the red-armored warrior that led the army to get the princess executed. it makes a lot of sense since RH is a much better person than Brittany and always bests her in looks, music, and overall personality and morals.
