This level of chaos truly cannot be planned. In the end it may very well not be what the director wanted it to be, leading to various degrees of disowning, but maybe it’s for the best, as the result is unique and makes for a mesmerising watch. Interesting to observe how the movie posters evolved as Fox (distributor) desperately tried to revive interest as the phantom bombed globally (except in Winnipeg, Manitoba 🇨🇦 but that’s a whole other story) by presenting it almost as different movies, all of which entirely plausible. A must watch 🍻
