On the screen, the one that he looks at to show him an image of what waits for him. There's a town, of course, which isn't all that uncommon, but what is is the frankly obscenely large statue that stands in the middle of it. It's not the first of its kind that he's seen, of course, but they never quite manage to stop shocking.

"Well," he murmurs both to himself and to her, always to her, "symbols have got to be tall, haven't they?" He pauses, and he smiles, looking at her. "What do you think?"

200 days until the Phantom of the Paradise 50th Anniversary Event.
Tickets are now on sale for the meet and greet with Peter Elbling! Requires a ticket to Kevin Smith Gets Winnipegged. See the Phantompalooza facebook page for more information.
Also, ever wonder what Mr. Elbling was doing before his role in Phantom? Well here he is in 1968, performing with Michel Choquette as one half of the Times Square Two!
