MAGA: produced in China
AUR: produced in Russia
(Didn't grab the link because it has no eng subtitles)
George Simion has been banned from entering Republic of Moldova and Ukraine due to the contracts with Russian spies.
The founder of AUR, Marius Dorin Lulea, admitted that the money were from Kremlin.
Translation of the photo article: The hypocrisy of MAGA: Chinese news publisher reveals that all the materials utilized in Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" campaign were made at sub-par prices in Chinese factories.

BUCHAREST, Romania (AP) — A top Romanian court on Friday annulled the first round of the country’s presidential election, days after allegations that Russia ran a coordinated online campaign to promote the far-right outside r who won the first round.
The Constitutional Court’s unprecedented decision — which is final — came after President Klaus Iohannis declassified intelligence on Wednesday that alleged Russia ran a sprawling campaign comprising thousands of social media accounts to promote Calin Georgescu across platforms such as TikTok and Telegram.
The intelligence files were from the Romanian Intelligence Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Special Telecommunication Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Despite being an outsider who declared zero campaign spending, Georgescu emerged as the frontrunner on Nov. 24. He was due to face reformist Elena Lasconi of the Save Romania Union party in a runoff on Sunday.
A new date will now be set to rerun the vote from scratch. Some 951 voting stations had already opened abroad on Friday for the runoff for Romania’s large diaspora but had to be halted.
Lasconi strongly condemned the court’s decision, saying it was “illegal, immoral, and crushes the very essence of democracy.”
“We should have moved forward with the vote. We should have respected the will of the Romanian people. Whether we like it or not, from a legal and legitimate standpoint, 9 million Romanian citizens, both in the country and the diaspora, expressed their preference for a particular candidate through their votes. We cannot ignore their will!” she said.
“I know I would have won. And I will win because the Romanian people know I will fight for them, that I will unite them for a better Romania,” she added. “I will defend our democracy. I will not give up.”
She said the issue of Russian interference should have been tackled after the election was completed. Some 9.4 million people — about 52.5% of eligible voters — had cast ballots in the first round.
Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said in a statement the annulment was “the only correct solution” following the intelligence drop which revealed the “Romanian people’s vote was flagrantly distorted as a result of Russian interference.”
“The presidential elections must be held again,” he said in a post on Facebook. “At the same time, investigations by the authorities must uncover who is responsible for the massive attempt to influence the outcome of the presidential election.”
The same court last week ordered a recount of the first-round votes, which added to the myriad controversies that have engulfed a chaotic election cycle. Following a recount, the court then validated the first-round results on Monday.
Many observers have expressed concerns that annulling the vote could trigger civil unrest.
George Simion, the leader of the far-right Alliance for the Unity of Romanians, said the development was a “coup d’état in full swing” but urged people not to take to the streets. “We don’t let ourselves be provoked, this system has to fall democratically,” he said.
Cristian Andrei, a political consultant based in Bucharest, said the court’s decision amounts to a “crisis mode situation for the Romanian democracy.”
“In light of the information about the external interference, the massive interference in elections, I think this was not normal but predictable, because it’s not normal times at all, Romania is an uncharted territory,” he told The Associated Press. “The problem is here, do we have the institutions to manage such an interference in the future?”
Thirteen candidates ran in the first round presidential vote in this European Union and NATO member country. The president serves a five-year term and has significant decision-making powers in areas such as national security, foreign policy and judicial appointments. On Dec. 1, Romania also held a parliamentary election which saw pro-Western parties win the most votes, but also a surge of support for far-right nationalists.
Before the first round vote, most surveys predicted the top three candidates would be Ciolacu, who came in third place, and Simion or Lasconi in second place. As the surprising results came in with Georgescu on top, and Lasconi narrowly beating Ciolacu, it sent shockwaves through the political establishment and plunged it into turmoil.
Georgescu’s surprising success in the presidential race left many political observers wondering how most local surveys were so far off, putting him behind at least five other candidates before the vote.
Many observers attributed his success to his TikTok account, which now has 6 million likes and 541,000 followers. But some experts suspect Georgescu’s online following was artificially inflated while Romania’s top security body alleged he was given preferential treatment by TikTok over other candidates.
In the intelligence release, the secret services alleged that one TikTok user paid more $381,000 (361,000 euros) to other users to promote Georgescu content. Intelligence authorities said information they obtained “revealed an aggressive promotion campaign” to increase and accelerate his popularity.
Georgescu, when asked by the AP in an interview Wednesday whether he believes the Chinese-owned TikTok poses a threat to democracy, defended social media platforms.
“The most important existing function for promoting free speech and freedom of expression is social media,” he said.

After the Constitutional Court’s final decision to reject Calin Georgescu’s presidential candidacy, the leaders of Romania’s two main far-right parties on Wednesday announced plans to enter the presidential race in May themselves.
George Simion, leader of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians, AUR, and Anamaria Gavrils, leader of the Party of Young People, POT, both declared their intention to run. However, they emphasised that their candidacies are a temporary strategy; once their candidacies are officially validated, one of them will withdraw.
“After consulting with Calin Georgescu, we have decided to both submit our candidacies … We must give the sovereignist movement every chance. Stand with us,” they said in a joint statement.
The manoeuvre appears to be aimed at maximising media exposure and consolidating far-right support before a final candidate is chosen.
The deadline for submitting candidacies for the election is March 15. So far, two other prominent candidates have already entered the race: Crin Antonescu, representing the ruling coalition, and Nicușor Dan, the mayor of Bucharest.
The competition is expected to be intense, with nationalist candidates seeking to rally disaffected voters who feel alienated by mainstream politics.
In addition to AUR and POT, another far-right party, SOS Romania, holds significant parliamentary representation. Together, the far-right parties control about one-third of the seats in parliament, a sign of their growing influence in the political landscape.
Diana Sosoacă, leader of SOS Romania and a vocal supporter of pro-Russian narratives, was earlier barred from running in the 2024 presidential election. Authorities cited irregularities in her candidacy documents and behaviour deemed incompatible with democratic values.
On Tuesday, Romania’s Constitutional Court rejected an appeal by Georgescu. The populist politician, holding NATO-sceptic and pro-Russian views, had contested a decision by the Central Electoral Bureau barring him from competing in the May presidential election re-run.
He won the first round of last year’s election but the results were annulled after intelligence agencies reported likely manipulation of public opinion by a “foreign state”, widely believed to be Russia.
Adding to his legal troubles, late last month prosecutors indicted Georgescu on six charges, including incitement to undermine the constitutional order, spreading false information and establishing an anti-Semitic organisation.
If convicted, he faces a prison sentence of up to 20 years, marking a dramatic downfall for a politician once seen as a rising force in Romania’s nationalist movement.
Moscow has denied any connection to Georgescu, dismissing the accusations of interference as “complete nonsense” and “absolutely groundless”.
In the US, Donald Trump’s vice-president JD Vance has criticised the presidential election annulment, calling it undemocratic. Trump ally Elon Musk has also slammed the bar on Georgescu’s candidacy in the re-run poll, describing it as “crazy”.

How Malignant’s Monster Calls Back to Stephen King
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
This Malignant article contains spoilers.
Malignant has a twist so wild you need to see it to believe it. Seriously, stop reading right now if you have even the faintest interest in watching James Wan‘s latest horror offering. You really don’t want to spoil this for yourself. Sure, you’ll either really love or absolutely hate the movie’s batshit third act, but the experience of watching the twist for the first time is worth the price of admission.
If you have watched the movie, maybe you left as astonished as I did. After all, the first two thirds of the movie play like a standard giallo-inspired slasher film before things go completely off the rails. You might say that some of the clues were there all along — indeed they are, maybe you saw this coming from a mile away — but when you thought you’d put it all together, did you really expect Wan to go through with something so ridiculous? I certainly said, “No, that can’t be it” to myself midway through the movie when the clues started adding up. It’s a new direction for Wan to be sure…
But Wan’s first trip into a new sub-genre of horror isn’t necessarily without outside influence. There’s a bit of David Cronenberg mixed with hints of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, but for the most obvious inspiration you have to look to the King of Horror himself.
Before we talk about Stephen King, you might be wondering what the hell was going on with Gabriel in the first place.
Gabriel Origin Explained
Safari Riot’s cover of the classic Pixies song “Where Is My Mind” seems so out of place when it first blasts through a scene in the movie, an over-the-top accompaniment to what seems like your standard slasher flick, but it’s actually incredibly appropriate — not just for the massive tone shift but the plot itself. (“Where Is My Mind” is also the iconic tune that accompanies the final scene of Fight Club, another tale of split personalities.) Madison’s (Annabelle Wallis) mind has been playing tricks on her (and the audience) the entire time. She thinks her creepy childhood imaginary friend Gabriel has somehow taken corporeal form and started murdering everyone who had a hand in “separating” him from her. But little does Madison know that the separation was much more literal than her simply forgetting a figment of her imagination when her baby sister Syndey (Maddie Hasson) was born.
It’s Sydney who discovers the truth when she goes back to the institution where Madison spent her early childhood before being adopted by their mother Jeanne (Susanna Thompson). In the basement of the abandoned Simion Research Hospital, Sydney finds the harrowing tapes that reveal Madison’s past with her “imaginary friend.”
Madison was born Emily May to a 15-year-old girl named Serena (Jean Louise Kelly as an adult, Madison Wolfe as a teen) who is forced to give her away to the institution by her mother due to Emily’s…medical condition. In a stunningly gruesome sequence of body horror, we learn that Emily was born with a parasitic twin attached to her head and spinal cord, which allows it to control her movements and thoughts. The doctors at Simion at first diagnose Gabriel as a “massive teratoma,” a malignant tumor that can grow with fully developed organs and tissue, but as we see in the movie’s opening sequence, they soon learn that this is something much worse and decide to cut him out off of Emily for good.
But they can’t get rid of Gabriel completely. Because the siblings attached at the brain, the doctors are forced to remove as much of Gabriel as they can, hiding what’s left inside her skull. Of course that means that Gabriel never truly goes away. He continues to speak to Emily, now Madison, from inside her head, at one point almost convincing her to kill Jeanne while pregnant with Sydney.
While Madison eventually forgets her “imaginary friend” as an adult, Gabriel returns after Madison’s piece of shit husband Derek (Jake Abel) brutally slams her head against a wall during an altercation. (Let’s just say I’m glad he’s dead.) The injury reawakens what’s left of Gabriel, who can reemerge through her head wound to control and contort Madison’s body and go on his killing spree. Madison experiences these murders as visions, as she watches her sibling slash his way through all the doctors that tried to destroy him as well as the mother who gave him away in the first place. Madison’s only able to stop him after he’s already massacred a police station full of cops and prisoners and made his way to the hospital to kill Sydney and Serena. Using the mental link she has with Gabriel, Madison manages to lock her sibling away, promising that next time he reemerges, she’ll “be ready for him,” setting up an inevitable sequel and a new horror franchise for Wan.

Gabriel and the Dark Half
Constant Readers will undoubtedly spend the weekend pointing out that Gabriel’s plot to control his sister in order to go on a murder spree is very reminiscent of one of Stephen King’s most famous books and movies, The Dark Half. The book and the movie directed by the late, great George A. Romero tells the story of Thad Beaumont (played by Timothy Hutton in the film), a writer of literary fiction in a bit of a slump by day. But he has a far more successful career by night as the author of dark crime novels under the pen name “George Stark.” Yet, the success of his Stark books feels like a curse to Thad, who is driven to heavy drinking and other vices when “the spell” of Stark’s prose. Now, a recovering alcoholic, Thad wishes to leave Stark behind and just write the literary fiction his agent and editor deem “boring.”
When the truth about Thad’s pen name comes out, the writer sees the perfect way to bury his career as George Stark once and for all — by throwing his pseudonym an actual funeral at the local cemetery. But Mr. Stark doesn’t like that very much. Thad’s pen name inexplicably “rises from the grave” to kill everyone he blames for his death — Thad’s editor, agent, and more.
You’re probably thinking it was Thad all along, but this is more than just another case of split personalities. Like in Wan’s latest, Stark was once actually very real, the sibling Thad absorbed in utero…except for a couple of teeth and an eye living inside of Thad’s brain. The “tumor” is removed from Thad’s head as a child, but he’s somehow unknowingly kept the spirit of his sibling alive through the books he writers, undoubtedly under Stark’s dark influence. It’s the kind of gory, supernatural twist King is best known for, and Wan sets out to celebrate the book with style. Mind you, this obviously isn’t a direct adaptation of King’s work but more like a spiritual successor to the book that pushes the plot much further into the ridiculous than even the writer did in 1989. Leave it to Wan to dream up an action sequence where a backwards (literally), contorting serial killer stabs his way through a building full of people to the sound of shredding guitars.
Even if you think Malignant‘s third act twist is an absolute mess, I’d argue it’s at least an interesting mess, a daring experiment in a corner of the horror genre we’ve not seen enough of in the past few years. Will this experiment lead to a new movement in body horror movies just as Saw for better or worse inspired years of “torture porn” movies and The Conjuring brought us the horror expanded universe? That remains to be seen. At the very least, Malignant is the kind of movie you’ll want to debate about with your friends as you exit the theater, even if it’s just to say you absolutely hated the twist. Aren’t you at least glad you saw it for yourself? The twist just isn’t as good on paper.
Malignant is out now in theaters and streaming on HBO Max.

EXCLUSIV / EXPLOZIV / ANCHETA. CONTINUAREA. Ep. 3 - Vanguard
Apoi a venit o altă surpriză majoră.
I s-a părut FURT PE FAȚĂ.
Articolul așa-zis ”bombă” despre dedesubturile negocierilor dintre Bourla și Ursula (”How Europe Sealed a Pfizer Vaccine Deal With Texts and Calls”) a apărut în NYT pe 28 aprilie 2021.
(Adrian Onciu)

The nationalistic right-wing Alliance for the Union of Romanians, AUR, has started a campaign to attract smaller nationalist parties, some with far-right leanings, ahead of the 2024 elections, gathered in an “authentic sovereignist choir”.
“AUR is a constantly growing force. This thing is more and more visible. The more our strength grows, the more [others] come to us. We will make the necessary selection and welcome all who deserve and correspond to our principles and values, ” AUR leader and MP George Simion said on Tuesday evening.
Next year, Romania will hold European, local, parliamentary and presidential elections.
“We want to unite because only together can we help Romanians. We don’t keep our doors closed. We’ve proved that we did not make a party for ourselves and a group of close people and that we are open to all who can do something for the country”, ther co-president of AUR, Senator Claudiu Tarziu, said.
AUR has already presented a narrative of winning the elections, pedalling a nationalist, Euro-skeptic and anti-NATO agenda, which matches Moscow’s own narratives.
Its “entire ideology … fits the type of narrative pushed in the West by Russian propaganda,” wrote Dan Tapalaga, editor of the G4Media , an influential Romanian independent news portal, in an analysis.
He described the party as “extremist and anti-Semitic … based on isolationist nationalism, anti-Europeanism, economic nationalism, traditionalism and [Christian] Orthodoxy”.
Simion said he was out to beat the “so-called democratic bloc” in 2024.
“In 2024, two ‘army corps’ will fight. The so-called democratic block PSD-PNL-UDMR [Social Democratic Party, PSD; National Liberal Party, PNL and Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania, UDMR] will fight the sovereignist pole, concentrated around AUR … We need to win these elections,” he said.
AUR has brought into the party a businessman of Israeli origin, Ilan Laufer, and another, Mohammad Murad, of Lebanese origin, to signal that ethnicity and religion are no bar to membership of its nationalist projects.
Previously, Simion was accused of anti-Semitic attitudes for praising Marshal Ion Antonescu, the leader of Romania in World War II and the figure most responsible for the mass killing of its Jews and Roma. Simon rejected these accusation after he had a meeting with the Israeli ambassador to Romania.
Simion also stated that AUR is based on four pillars – the Romanian nation, the family, freedom and the Christian faith.
He further stated that the legacy of Corneliu Vadim Tudor, the former leader of the Great Romania Party, PRM, who championed anti-Western, homophobic, xenophobic and anti-Hungarian views in the 1990s, must be continued. That was why he welcomed his daughter, Lidia Vadim, into the party. However, Simion has publicly insisted that he has no anti-Semitic views himself.
Judging by recent opinion polls, AUR and one other Romanian nationalist party could win seats in the European Parliament elections.
According to the latest Avangarde opinion poll, from last month, AUR stands to win 19 per cent of the votes in those elections, while the party of Diana Sosoaca, formerly of AUR, S.O.S Romania, would win 5 per cent, allowing it to cross the electoral threshold.

Jazz special: Luiza Zan şi Big Band-ul Radio
(18 februarie 2019)

KUALA LUMPUR: Three people were killed and 24 injured Tuesday when a powerful explosion rocked a shopping mall in the Malaysian state of Sarawak, but a fire official said it was not caused by a bomb.
The official Bernama news agency said the blast could have been caused by a leaking gas tank.
Wan Abdul Mubin, head of the fire rescue department in the state capital Kuching, told AFP his office received an emergency call at around 0737 GMT.
“We scrambled 39 officers to the scene. We are investigating the cause of the explosion. It is one of the worst tragedies in the state in years. But it is not a bomb,” he said.
“We recovered the bodies of three men. And we have helped in the evacuation of 24 people injured to the nearby public hospital,” he added.
Wan Abdul said the explosion happened near a store on the ground floor of the shopping mall that was undergoing renovation.
A video clip of the aftermath showed the facade of the store torn apart, with some people screaming for help.
“I was purchasing a pizza in front of the shop when suddenly a strong explosion occurred,” George Sting, 39, told Bernama.
“The workers in the shop immediately ran out,” he said, adding that some were seriously injured.
Wina Simion, 46, who was sitting near the store with her family members said the explosion caused their table to flip.
