I tend to have an issue where I keep picking my face for blackheads/zits even when there might not actually be any... what do you think the Beatles would do about that? I feel self conscious about my face but I also feel bad for doing it. It’s okay if you don’t want to do this though

Awww, honey, I suffer with acne too and I know lots of beautiful people who do so too! It’s so rough! So I hope this makes you feel better! I know @beatlevmania wrote “Naturally”, a blurb with George that’s similar, so I would reccommend reading it too! (especially since I was the anon who asked for it!)

John:

He notices it but doesn’t say anything.

He hates confrontation and keeps quiet about it bc he gets uncomfortable with people crying.

And cheeky boy he is he tries to cheer you up

cuddles you if he sees you looking sad

only brings up your blackheads or anything if you bring it up

fights everyone who tries to object or tease you

as in, actual fists, you may have to hold him back

When you start picking at your face he would say “op, nothin’ there to pick, angel face!”

He knows you love and hate that nickname and you can’t help but smile.

Assures you that you are healthy and your skin is clean (after he reads stuff up), so he has evidence if someone claims otherwise.

Would help you find cleaning products and cleansers to help you out if you felt bad about it

Because Paul’s the pretty one so you know he is an expert on being pretty and what products make your skin glow

But he also verbally tells you how lovely you look

He says your face is like the sweetest star in the sky and all sorts of flowery stuff

He’s always there to listen and talk with you about how you feel about the way you look and make you feel better

George:

George is the one who would actually think you look better without any makeup to hide it

So when you talk about being self conscious about your skin and picking at it his brain explodes!

He just loves how soft and real and natural you look

If you ever pick at your face he would stop and hold your hand and kiss it.

He’d cuddle and hug you if you ever felt bad about it!

He even sometimes gently taps your face and then kisses said area, sometimes mumbling about how all the flowers and plants have marks and specks too, but it doesn’t affect how lovely and important they are.

Ringo:

Bless his heart, this sweet boy’s heart breaks when you open up about your insecurities

So get ready to have more comfort from him than you could imagine getting!

Like, publicly showing you off and prompting people to see how good looking you are.

And when he gets his hand on a video camera you bet he zooms in on you for a good long while

He then shows you the photos/videos and says “’ow on earth could someone like that think they’re ugly?”

When you pick on your face on habit he would say nothing and let you do it, but then when you examine your nails and see nothing there, he gives you a little smile and says “it’s alright, Y/N...”

He even talks about his own youth and what skin problems might have occurred, so you feel less alone

John’s head felt like it was going to kill him. How much did he drink last night? He groaned and rolled over to smother himself with a pillow—but he bumped into someone’s bony elbow.

Fuck.

He carefully scooted away. Hopefully he hadn’t woken the person he’d spent the night with and could still sneak out before they noticed. But unfortunately, he heard a grunt as the person shifted beside him—and he was face to face with George Harrison.

Naked George Harrison.

“John?”

“…Fucking god damn motherfucking shit.”

George winced. “Keep it down, will ya? My head fuckin’ hurts.”

John’s brain fucking hurt. “Why’re we—how did—what did—”

“Did we fuck last night?” George said it so plainly that John shut right up, stunned. “That’s what you’re tryin’ to ask, right?”

“Well, did we? Why the hell are you naked?”

Of all things, George grinned. He grinned. “Hey—you’re naked, too. Don’t blame this all on me. And in case you haven’t noticed, you’re the one in my hotel room,” George said, poking John square in the chest. “Looks like you’re the one who has some explaining to do.”

John sat up and rubbed his head. It was George’s room. And he still didn’t remember a thing…and his arse definitely hurt, and that dark bruise on George’s neck was unmistakable. “Oh my god,” he muttered, burying his face in his hands.

A warm hand pressed against his thigh. “John, are you alright?”

John’s fists clenched. “No, I’m not alright! How are you so calm about accidentally fuckin’ your mate?”

Sighing, George sat up beside him, and John tried not to look at the nice way the muscles in his chest shifted each time he moved. “If I’m gonna be accidentally fucking anyone,” George said, “I’d much rather it be a mate than some random person off the street who means nothing to me. At least this way I know I was in good hands.”

As his cheeks heated up, John looked away from where George’s hand still rested on his leg. “So, you don’t regret…whatever it is we did last night?”

“No.” George pulled his hand back and tugged his knees to his chest. Quietly, he added, “If anything, I regret being too drunk to remember it.”

“…Oh.” John stared dumbly at George. Lovely, beautiful George who was now shrinking by the second, curling up on himself tighter and tighter. “Do you…” John paused to clear his throat. “Do you want to do it again?”

George squeezed his eyes shut. “Not if you’re just offering out of guilt.”

It wasn’t guilt. John didn’t quite know what it was that drew him closer to George, but he knew it wasn’t guilt. Maybe it was the warmth of George’s skin when John wrapped his arms around him to break him out of his shell before it sealed shut. Maybe it was the softness of George’s lips as John kissed him—soberly this time—and felt George gasp against his mouth.

Or maybe it was the overwhelming familiarity as George returned his embrace. The scent of his hair, the soft timbre of his voice as he let out relieved laugh, the curve of his neck where John’s face fit perfectly. But whatever it was that led him into George’s arms, John knew that he didn’t want to leave.

idea for 23 with george, he ate the last piece of chocolate and she's mad that he didn't give her any 🥺

You and George agreed that the local chocolate shop had the best dipped malt balls you both ever tasted. They were crunchy, full of flavor, and the rich taste exploded into your mouth once you popped it in.

So you agreed to divide it.

And you kept track of yours and so did George.

Or so you thought.

When you walked into the kitchen, you looked half-frozen as George popped the last malt ball into your moth.

“George! That’s the last one!”

“Isn’t it mine?” he asked, mouth full and chewing.

You pointed to the tally mark on the piece of paper attached with magnets to the fridge. He had miscounted after all.

“Oh, Y/N...I’m so sorry! ‘Ere!” he said, opening his arms and walking to you.

He pressed his lips to yours, you could still taste some of that chocolate there and his arms pressed you into a tight hug mid-kiss.

You stayed as long as you needed and then pulled away. Wiping your lips, you noticed the remnants of chocolate.

You both laughed a little at the silly idea.

“Well, i could taste it after all!” you said.

“I’ll get you your chocolate tomorrow: let’s get our own boxes, Y/N! Then no track keepin’! To make up fer this, okay?” he promised with a wink.
