Since I’m in the editing phase of YWIMC, I’ve been more than excited to share more snippets from later chapters (without spoiling of course). So, without further ado….~

“Ali….your eyes!”

“Mmmm?” The djinn questioned.

“They’re…..they’re a deep brown…..” Noah reached up to pet Ali’s azure whiskers, scoffing through a smile in disbelief. “…..were these your eyes before….?”

Ali let a quick, weak breath exude from his chest as he nodded. “Yeah….I almost forgot their color…..”

Noah felt as if he were glimpsing into the past—what his habibi’s gentle gaze looked like before the curse. Deep cocoa…..a dark chocolate garnish over the sweetest baklava. Noah’s own olive eyes welled up in tears as Ali was quick to brush them away with his thumb.

I've had a Korrasami genie AU for a while now and I wanted to create the scene where they first meet Mako, Bolin, and Pabu. The story I had in mind for it was a combination of Aladdin and The Legend of Korra storylines told mainly from the perspectives of Korra and Asami. I have most of it written haven't figured out how to finish it. I'll probably share what I have during Korrasami week.

The Legend of Korra belongs to Nickelodeon and Avatar Studios.

As always, comments and critiques are welcome.

Has anyone ever thought of asking genies and other wish-twisting magical creatures for reviews from satisfied customers? Like leave a star rating on the lamp, or have your first wish be for the contact info of the last three wishers. Seems like that would be the easiest way to find out who's the genuine article and who's gonna turn 'i want a hot dog" into "i have just been teleported into a Hot, Dust-Obscured Galaxy".

Now, without further ado: a Seven Sentence romance scene from YWIMC: ✨

Both pairs of eyes pierced through the dark. After all this time, they found each other. With their hands gently petting down the contours of their chins, they traced each other's faces with their palms and tucked stray hairs away from their visages. Patiently pulsing, their hearts a dull lull in their chests as they perked their ears at the soothing sound.

Ali pulled the blanket over them, and as the sheets encased them again, his arms encased Noah. Slowly, he rocked his hips again to their steady heartbeats—not too fast, as the gentle push and pull mimicked a calm ocean wave along the breakers of the sand.

Force of Love

Yes, I still drew this genie, even if its original design makes me uncomfortable.

Artist's notes:

Enamorus was added as a fourth member to the original "Forces of Nature" trio, composed of Landorus, Thundurus and Tornadus.

I struggled a lot to make a descent gijinka version of this genie, the only thing I saw here was a Drag Queen or a Trans woman, I think it fits the most.

So I go for the Drag Queen interpretation and took a lot of inspiration of it, by giving her exaggerated makeup and an extravagant outfit.

Enamorus is supposed to represent the black tortoise Genbu, guardian of the North, in Chinese mythology. Her tattoo represents her Therian form.
