PLEASE tell me someone here knows Iron Man Armored Adventures. I loved it so much and watched it at least three times and repeated my favorite episodes but I've never seen anyone talking about it and I feel like it's so underrated like it's sooo good
It's basically about Tony Stark being a teen and at first coping with his dad's death and he now goes to a normal school and has to be a normal teen but like O'brian or whatever his name was tries to take over the company because Tony is not an adult so he can't be in charge of it and Tony investigates and then he meets the Mandarin who's a teen and one of his main enemies and there's also Pepper and they fall in love and she also has a suit and there's Rhodey and he's war machine I think (I watches like three years ago I don't remember much, so maybe he was patriot or smth) and omg it's so awesome and there's also the guys are like
Fuck it. I remember barely anything but trust me it's incredibly awesome and THE DESIGN like look at them
Like that's Tony, pepper and rhodey.
And this is Gene. I love him. He's my baby.

GHOSTS AND DEMONS AND EVEN WILDER YET
Opening this weekend:
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire--This fifth feature in the franchise begins with a nice macabre episode set in 1904, like something from a creepier version of Disney's Haunted Mansion. This is followed by an extended chase through the streets of Manhattan, as the current Ghostbusters pursue, in the "Ectomobile," an eel-like flying dragon spirit up from the sewers.
It's a reasonably diverting start, and the movie goes on to deploy, in addition to Paul Rudd and Carrie Coon and the kids from 2021's Ghostbusters: Afterlife, most of the available stars from the 1984 original. Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, Williams Atherton and Bill Murray show up--no Sigourney Weaver or Rick Moranis, alas--and not just in cameos but with fairly substantive screen time. I was disappointed that the all-woman crew from the much-maligned and underrated 2016 version wasn't invited to this party, but apparently fans are still traumatized.
Anyway, the old vets here are good company--Murray with his peerless sardonoic line readings, Akyroyd with his gee-whiz delivery of expository gibberish. A couple of new adds, like Patton Oswalt as an authority on the occult and Kumail Nanjiani as a clod who sells Aykroyd the spherical ancient artifact that serves as the McGuffin, also get into the proper, uhm, spirit of things.
On the whole the movie, directed by Gil Kenan from a script by Kenan and Jason Reitman, is an enjoyable lavish no-brainer. The closest it gets to any emotional weight is an intriguing plot strand in which the teenage heroine (Mckenna Grace) bonds, seemingly romantically, with a teen ghost (Emily Alyn Lind) after she's forbidden to go 'busting until she turns 18; the actors manage a touching rapport even through the special effects prism.
But if Frozen Empire--which concerns a horned demon with freezing superpowers imprisoned inside the McGuffin--doesn't feel like a home run, it may be the result of too much wholesomeness. The teen romance and bickering family dynamic didn't quite feel like Ghostbusters to me, somehow. What made the '84 film seem new was its mix of extravagant, big-budget special effects spectacle with the snarky, irreverent slacker sketch-comedy of Murray and the other stars. Only when Frozen Empire taps into this sensibility does it truly thaw out.
The movie is dedicated to Ivan Reitman, director of the original, and this film, like several of the others, includes a nod to Cannibal Girls, Rietman's 1973 shocker starring the impossibly young and adorable Andrea Martin and Eugene Levy. I hope it makes fans seek out that amusing low-budget creepshow; there's a movie that doesn't suffer from too much wholesomeness.
Late Night With the Devil--Here's another wry paranormal chiller set in New York, although it was conceived by the Australian brothers Cameron Cairnes and Colin Cairnes and filmed in Melbourne. The premise is that we're watching the 1976 Halloween episode of a syndicated talk show, a perennial also-ran in the ratings to Johnny Carson. Desperate for a sweeps win, the recently widowed host (David Dastmalchian) stacks the guest list with a hokey stage psychic (Fayssal Bazzi), an Amazing Randi-type skeptic (Ian Bliss), and a psychiatrist (Laura Gordon) and her patient, an angelically smiling teenage girl (Ingrid Torelli). This girl was rescued from a cult and just might be possessed.
From the set to the music to the "More to Come" break cards, the Cairnes Brothers truly capture the look and feel of anything-goes '70s talk shows to a degree that will be nostalgic to those of us who remember them. The movie also evokes sources of the period from The Exorcist to Network (Michael Ironside provides stentorian narration in the manner of Network's Lee Richardson), and the soundtrack includes the likes of Flo & Eddie's "Keep It Warm."
The "found footage" conceit is quickly strained; the supposed "behind the scenes" sequences are pretty cinematic and helpfully narrative. But after a while you accept it, largely because the acting, especially the haunted yet game showmanship of the excellent Dastmalchian, keeps us involved.
It's a little scary, but mostly Late Night With the Devil is, like Network, a tongue-in-cheek satire of TV business culture, with ripe lines like "Ladies and gentlemen, a live television first, as we attempt to communicate with...the Devil. But not before a word from our sponsors." I also loved the implication that no amount of supernatural power could overtake Carson in the ratings in those days. Apparently even the Devil couldn't do that.
At Harkins Shea...
Remembering Gene Wilder--This documentary, directed by Ron Frank, does indeed fondly remember the late comedy great. Frank makes Wilder himself the narrator, using audiobook excerpts from his noirishly-titled 2005 memoir Kiss Me Like a Stranger.
Born Jerry Silberman in Milwaukee, he grew up trying to make his mother laugh, and later drew inspiration from the mental patients he worked with while serving in the U.S. Army. He wanted, he says, something a bit "wilder" for his stage name when he started acting in New York. Cast in Brecht's Mother Courage and her Children at the Martin Beck Theatre in the early '60s, he met leading lady Anne Bancroft's future husband Mel Brooks, who later cast him in The Producers.
From there, we get a chronicle of some of the highlights of Wilder's movie career--not all of them; Quackser Fortune Has a Cousin in the Bronx and Start the Revolution Without Me, for instance, are passed over. But there's terrific material on Bonnie and Clyde, The Producers, Willy Wonka, Young Frankenstein, his relationship with Richard Pryor, his scenes with the sheep in Woody Allen's Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (he says that Allen told him that he wanted to do a version of Sister Carrie with a sheep instead of Jennifer Jones), and more. My own favorite of Wilder's characters, Jim aka The Waco Kid in Blazing Saddles, is very well represented here.
Talking heads include Brooks, Carol Kane, Mike Medavoy, Alan Alda, Ben Mankiewicz, Rain Pryor, Harry Connick, Jr., Eric McCormack, and Willy Wonka's Charlie Bucket himself, Peter Ostrum, as well as Wilder's widow Karen Wilder, all speaking with unmistakable love. They tell good stories, but the real joy is simply the big dose of Wilder's utterly sui generis blend of innocent sweetness and strangled volatility. If the clips in this movie don't make you smile, you may need to see a doctor.

Ok im dumping about IMAA Ella and Tony because I AM A BITCH ON A MISSION TO MAKE EVERYONE ELSE FEEL AS MANY THINGS ABOUT MY CHILDREN AS I DO
So starting off, the plot is generally the same with the addition of Ella attempting to be involved but getting left behind by Tony and Rhodey to do the Iron Man thing. Ella is unaware of the Iron Man suit and Tony's involvement with Iron Man until later. After the events of ‘Seeing Red’, Ella goes to Stane and offers to get the Iron Man armor for him if he promises to leave her and Tony alone, convinced Stane had tried to send Dynamo after Tony.
He agrees and she raids the Stark Vault for gear to create her own suit, The Fire Light Armor which has gauntlets instead of the little circles in the palm and a sword that can be lit on fire. The gauntlets have three load outs: Repulsor, Electricity and Fire.
Fire Light becomes an antagonist for a few episodes before she reveals her identity to Iron Man to show him why she's so adamant about getting the armor. Tony reveals his own identity to her so she wont kill him (there’s a one shot somewhere on my blog for details on that) and Ella is furious that her one and only twin would keep a secret like that from her. They were always very close to each other and their dad before the crash and Ella grows to resent how much Tony refuses to accept her help or just not tell her anything.
Ella winds up crushing hard on Gene and learns of his identity as the Mandarin early on, bringing Fire Light out of retirement and giving it a new black paint job, becoming Shadow Strike instead after faking a suicide after a particularly serious argument between her and Tony in regards to her involvement on Team Iron Man.
It hits Tony really hard that his sister would kill herself over an argument but after an episode of reminiscing on their childhood and watching some old videos of them as kids, he realizes just how left out she's been by others (and even himself) and why she was always so adamant about how close they were.
Tony, of course, recognizes the ex-Fire Light armor on who he assumes is one of the Mandarin's goons and becomes furious that someone is wearing the armor his sister had built. She becomes a target for Tony to let out his frustrations and despite going at her with all he has, but can never seem to defeat her. (Ella spent most of their childhood practicing martial arts and started teaching Tony how to near the beginning of the series. But its also symbolic of how he can't seem to defeat his guilt over losing his sister, the only family he had left.)
Ella reveals the truth during the events of the Fin Fang Foom episode as well as her new loyalty to Gene as the Mandarin. Shadow Strike becomes the only remnant of the Mandarin's underlings to harass Team Iron Man while Gene and Howard search for the rest of the Rings. Tony has underlying feelings of guilt for pushing Ella to the point of becoming a villain, but denies it and insists that Ella should have just told him.
The last straw for Ella comes at the end of the Makluan Invasion. As Gene departs for his childhood home, realizing his true purpose of protecting the Earth, Ella can only sink to her knees at the realization that the last bastion of her broken heart has abandoned her as well. Even if her relationship with Gene was just a front to hide the work she'd been doing for him, the realization that he couldn't spare a second thought for her brings the world crashing down around her ears.
Tony attempts to comfort her, saying that they could finally go home, but she refuses. Angrily shouting how all of this started because of him and that she could never forgive him for leaving her behind so easily. She swears to make him feel the pain she's endured before blasting off and disappearing. Tony goes to chase after her, but the others stop him, Rhodey noting that she just needed some space and time to deal with Gene leaving like that.
2 months later, neither Ella or Gene has been seen or heard from and Team Iron Man have cemented themselves as heroes of New York. Tony is back home with his dad. SHIELD is working with Stark International to help test and expand on the projects the Starks have made. Tony and Howard have begun helping SHIELD in their attempt to unfreeze Captain America but haven't made much progress just yet
Even with all that is happening, Tony calls Ella's cell phone every night in hopes that she'll answer, leaving messages talking about his day and asking her to come home. The world isn't right, knowing his sister is out there on her own
The first episode of the season is a typical Unicorn and Killer Shrike fight. They're no match for the newly upgraded Team Iron Man and are sent to jail with barely a fuss. It's as they sit in prison, lamenting over how they can't ever seem to win a fight anymore, that a portal opens from nowhere. Out steps a cloaked figure with a hood and a man with a familiar golden helmet. Loki stands quietly with a smirk as the cloaked figure speaks. Their voice obviously being altered, but they offer the duo a chance for revenge. All they have to do is follow as they're commanded.
It's not hard to figure out why the two criminals smirk at each other.
Team Iron Man arrives on scene as Unicorn and Killer Shrike are robbing some warehouse, expecting a usual easy fight. They're caught off guard by the new purple highlights on the low tier villians' armors but assume nothing more until they're suddenly being thrashed around like nothing.
After a thorough beating at the hands of the newly powered criminals, Team Iron Man has to rethink their strategies, unknowing of the new mastermind lurking in the city.
Meanwhile, Killer Shrike and Unicorn return to their new base to report to the Loki that things went smoothly aside from the interruption from Iron Man and co. Loki sends them on their way and returns to the cloaked figure and tells them the news. The cloaked figure, who Loki refers to as Infinity, simply waves him off with a last moment note of how "Our Lord" would be pleased with their progress.
Team Iron Man fumbles to catch any info on what's going on, seemingly back at the start of their adventures.
Throughout the ongoing season, various Avengers appear to help Team Iron Man, including the newly revived Captain America about halfway thorough. Doctor Strange appears to warn SHIELD and Team Iron Man that Loki and Infinity will be after him to steal the Time Stone from him, which they do succeed in. Strange gives Tony a vague warning that Ella needs Tony, not Iron Man, to save her. Tony takes this to mean Infinity and Loki must be holding Ella hostage just as Gene had Howard hostage. Gene also returns, intent to do right this time and help Tony and his friends protect the Earth but is often busy doing his own work to deal with Infinity.
Somewhere midway through the season, Tony manages to separate Infinity from their followers and attempts to put a stop to their plans, by both fighting with them and trying to appeal to them. With the use of holograms and use of the Power Stone, Infinity uses this opportunity to torment Tony with images of Ella, playing with his guilt. Tony, plagued by Ella in tears or angry or hurt, while blaming him for her anguish, for abandoning her, is enough to let Infinity escape, though it is at this point that as Infinity leaves, do they reveal themself to have been Ella all along.
The ex-Shadow Strike armor has been reworked to be unrecognizable. The visor helmet is still the same as it was, but the body suit has been beefed up. The gauntlets are now doubled in size, massive rings on the wrist of the suit that open to become massive gloves over the suit’s hands. The back of both gauntlets has an opening with which Infinity Stones can be implanted to become power sources, namely the Power and Time Stones, which were her mission to recover.
The final episodes, probably a two or three part-er, Thanos arrives on Earth to retrieve the Infinity Stones from Loki and Infinity. Loki, upon realizing just how seriously screwed they all are, defects back to join Thor and the heroes with the promise that he is as serious as he can be, having spent the latter half of the season questioning if he really wanted to go through with this.
In the chaos of the battle, Tony manages to get Ella away from everyone else and the Twins throw down alone. Weapons are disregarded as it becomes a close quarters death match, Tony trying desperately trying to get through to his sister while Ella can only reiterate how she’s doing this in revenge for everything while trying to punch Iron Man’s mask in.
The promise she made with Thanos comes up: in exchange for her help gathering the Stones on Earth, Thanos will make things go back to how they were. Ella, Tony and their Dad, living life as they had before the accident. Happy, together. The accident, betrayal and all the things that came with it a mere dream.
Tony manages to break through to her, that Thanos would definitely not follow through on his promise. that they would lose everything if Thanos gets his hands on the Power Stone still in Ella’s possession. She freezes up, internal panic building up keeping her rooted to the ground as several people rush to try and take the final Infinity Stone from her.
Thanos manages to chase off the heroes and demands Ella relinquish the Power stone. As she kneels to offer it, Tony’s words ring in her head. Deciding to trust her brother once more, Ella manages to grab her sword from the ground to cut off Thanos’ hand where the Infinity Gauntlet rests.
As he screams in anguish, she snatches up his severed arm and rushes to the rubble where Team Iron Man and Gene are screaming for her. She manages to pluck the stones from the Gauntlet before Thanos yells out at her for betraying him. He promises a painful demise once he catches her and tears flood Ella’s cheeks, shaking and panicking over the imminent danger she’s in for her choice.
With an understanding that using even one Stone without a conduit can cause a lot of damage to a person, Tony and the gang convince Ella to let them help her in wielding the Stones to put an End to this once and for all.
Her suit has hidden places for all of the Stones, having been a backup if something happened with the Gauntlet, so as the other heroes keep Thanos distracted, Ella slots the Stones in the corresponding openings: one in each gauntlet, one in the center of her chest plate, one on the back of her helmet, and one at each hip. The idea being the more space between each stone, the less an effect they would have on the user.
The newly reunited Team Iron Man join hands to help disperse the effects of the stones’ use and Ella makes the final snap.
Something goes wrong.
It’s like an explosion.
Tony comes to with his ears ringing, laying on his front in the dirt. He looks up to find Ella’s armor in pieces before him. There’s burn marks on the inside and the stones are dull as they lay in the dirt. He crawls forward, every inch of his body burning like it had when he woke from the plane crash, and grabbing the broken helmet from the clutter as a fear he’d hoped to never feel again rears its head.
He failed her again.
He’d lost his sister, again.
The battlefield is silent, no remains of Thanos or his army to be seen while the rest of those fighting for Earth are strewn about in similar states of pain or unconsciousness.
From above, comes the haunting sound of energy pulsing and he looks up to see the glowing silhouette of a person, floating high above him.
The silhouette descends, mere feet away and he shields his eyes from the blinding light. The glow dims and Ella is standing before him instead.
He calls out to her, shakily getting to his feet as relief crashes down on his shoulders, tears in his eyes.
She turns to look at him.
He stops, freezing in place as the breath is knocked from his lungs.
Her expression is blank, eyes glowing. The stones suddenly spark back to life, rushing past him to float around her now outstretched hand.
Her voice is warped and strange, sounding as if another being is speaking altogether, proclaiming themself to be an entity of ancient, godly origins. The being thanks Tony for his help in awakening them, smiling in such a cold fashion it sends chills down his spine.
He wants to demand the being return his sister, give her back, he just got her BACK, but another voice speaks up through him. Another entity snaps at the other, they shouldn’t be here, they cannot do this again. They reach out- his hand reaches out- and the Infinity Stones start to move towards him instead. The Stones are held between them in the air as the two beings struggle to force the Stones to them before the one puppet-ting Tony’s body focuses on the two closest and yanks them to his chest. Clutching the two barely glowing Stones, he glares at the other entity, mind racing with questions.
The other entity- the one using Ella- takes the stones and leaves with a final remark that “You cannot stop me this time.”
Control returns to Tony as the others come scrambling towards him in concern. Gene has vanished, probably for the best considering his history, and the Avengers and Team Iron Man regroup at SHIELD.
Cue next season, The Guardians of the Galaxy show up, having been chasing after Thanos and the Infinity stones. They’re relieved to know he’s been dealt with, but the sudden appearance of the being in control of Ella’s body seems to be right up their alley. Team Iron Man insist on going with the Guardians, especially with one of their own on the line.
Tony attempts to contact Gene through whatever means he has, but finds the Mandarin just as impossible to call as ever, deciding to leave the other to do as he will.
The rest of the season is Team Iron man and the Guardians chasing after Possessed Ella, the being controlling her deciding to keep the moniker “Infinity” Ella had been using before. She’d somehow forged her own star ship and recruited both Unicorn and Killer Shrike, as well as Gene, who spends whatever chances he has relaying information to Tony in secret, even going so far as to encourage battles between them to get Tony away from prying eyes.
Tony and the being residing within talk, explaining everything it can while being sincere enough for Tony to believe the tale it tells.
The two supposed “Gods” had existed since the beginning of time and had been something like shepherds of the species of the newborn universe. “Infinity” and “End” as the being chose to refer to themself as, were torn between the ways they wanted to encourage the universe to grow. End wanted the beings to become self sufficient, to grow and learn and become able to exist on their own, while Infinity wanted to continue being worshiped as Gods, for the universe to continue to bend to their whims.
The disagreement grew to war, the two gods struggling in a power imbalance that threatened all worlds. Eventually, End was able to trick Infinity to the world from which they first came from and sealed both of their powers into six gems and had them scatter to the far corner of the universe. With the creation of the Infinity Stones, the two gods lost the power to remain incarnated within the physical world. Their souls were lost to the ether of the universe, becoming attached to the souls of twins across the universe. As they remained in a sleep like state until the Stark Twin’s use of the Stones awakened them. With enough power to awaken them, Infinity was now trying to return to their Birth World to release their power from the Stones and take back control, while End wanted to destroy the Stones once and for all, wiping the two gods from the very fabric of reality.
As the two sides clash and chase each other across the universe, the Stones swap hands back and forth, no episode ending without some Stones switching hands. It’s impossible to tell whether Infinity has relinquished any control back to Ella or if something else has happened to cause Ella to act so cold to Tony and the others, as if the final fight against Thanos hadn’t happened at all, but End allows Tony control of their powers, giving him a boost of new abilities with each Infinity Stone in his hand.
The final few episodes are the close in on the Birth World, Team Iron Man and the Guardians clash with Infinity, Unicorn and Killer Shrike, Gene breaking away during the last collision to join Tony and Friends. When they land, End becomes antsy, encouraging Tony to go after Infinity separately and let the others keep the much stronger Killer Shrike and Unicorn busy.
The two God-possessed teens chase each other over the landscape, racing to grab the Infinity Stones from each other as they race for the Altar End directs Tony towards.
Infinity manages to knock Tony down long enough to snag all the Stones and get to the Altar. End takes over and the two fight for the Stones. infinity manages to regain enough power to manifest a physical form and cast Ella’s body aside as they continue struggling to absorb the Stones’ power.
During the struggle, End manages to siphon energy from Infinity, who begins to lose their physical form. They attempt to jump back to a now-waking-Ella, but Tony, using a mix of End and the Infinity Stones, manages to draw Infinity back to him. The overwhelming energy of two gods and the power of the Infinity Stones coursing through him causes noticeable burns to appear on Tony’s skin (think how the Power Stone burned anyone holding it during the Guardians of the Galaxy movie)
Ella rushes to his side, attempting to grab at the Infinity Stones, to get them away from her brother even if it causes her to burn just as Tony is.
As the twins struggle to withdraw any amount of the chaotic energy burning at their bodies, the two gods grapple with each other, struggling as they speak.
“Look at them! Look how they struggle!”
“For what reason! Why fight such a power as ours?!”
“For each other! For the lives you will destroy if we continue on this way!”
“What does it matter! After everything they have seen and done to each other!”
“Because they choose to love despite the pain. As we once were.”
“We were fools!”
“We were family.”
Infinity hesitates, looking from the twins to End with a confused expression before looking horrified. End smiles and the two embrace.
“It is time we leave, Infinity. It is time we leave them to their own.”
“Yes... Yes, it is.”
They withdraw, taking the Infinity Stones away from the twins as they vanish into a ball of light, that bursts, whiting out the screen.
As the ringing and whiteness fades, Tony sits up, the camera pointedly only showing his left side as he sits up from where he’d been leaning against a large stone. He turns to find Ella laying on the ground beside him. Her eyes flutter as she comes to, sitting up and looking around.
The two turn to look at each other, gaping at the change. Tony’s right side and Ella’s left side are darker, patchy discolorations of their skin from head to toe, the eye on that side seeming to have swapped. Tony’s left eye now brown, while Ella’s right is blue.
They both stare for a moment in confused awe before collapsing into each other with breathless, exhausted laughter. After a moment they both look up at the sound of voices. Rhodey, Pepper and Gene come running, all yelling and waving the twins down.
Time skip a bit to the Guardians apprehending Killer Shrike and Unicorn, the two having lost their beef up from both iterations of Infinity and being dragged back onto the Guardians ship. Team Iron Man are patching each other up, Tony recounting the last bits of the fight between the two gods to the others as Rhodey wraps his arm in gauze.
After a moment, Tony says he’ll go get Ella and the others should go ahead and get settled. He heads back towards the Altar, the others casting worried glances back and muttering to each other uneasily.
Ella stands in front of the Altar and the large stone they had woken up under. Tony walks up beside her and puts a hand on her shoulder, looking up at the stone. The top of it has become some sort of carving, the image of the two gods in their final embraced is immortalized, just under their remains is a carving, done in many many, languages, taking up the rest of the stone.
“For the betterment of the Galaxy, let this be the final resting place of the Gods of Chaos and Power. May the Stones of Infinity never rear their heads again.May you find peace in life as they have in death.”
Tony takes Ella’s hand and starts to lead her back towards the ship. As they walk away and the screen fades to black, the colors of the Infinity Stones start to glow from within their silhouettes. Fade to black. End Season
The next two episodes are the trip back, broken up into conversations between characters as old wounds are addressed and secrets are made aware.
Tony admits to his wrong doing to Ella and Ella admits to jealousy.
Tony overhears a conversation between Gene and Ella as he apologizes for abandoning her after the Makluan Invasion. They talk about the attempt she’d made to take her own life, how Gene had shown up before she’d actually done it and directed her anguish elsewhere. Ella apologizes for her dependence on him during that turbulent time.
Afterwards, Tony confronts Gene to clear it up, because surely she hadn’t actually intended to off herself that day. It had all been a ploy from the start right? They’d planned that to get Ella away from him, she hadn’t really gone out to do that, right?
When they finally land on Earth, the area they’ll land in is swarmed by SHIELD agents and Avengers members. Remembering how they left, Team Iron Man and the now-realized criminal trio of Ella, Killer shrike and Unicorn are backed into a corner. Gene steps up with the Makluan Rings, saying he’ll teleport the four of them back to his Family’s shop and the Mandarin’s base while Team Iron Man attempt to diffuse the situation.
Ella decides to go out. She made mistakes and would rather make up for them than run around and try to get out of it, and Shrike and Unicorn decide to go with, much to everyone’s surprise.
The three are arrested for charges of public endangerment and acts of terrorism, SHIELD taking the three to the Helicarrier. Howard arrives on the scene to welcome Tony, barely missing as SHIELD takes Ella into one of their airships.
Howard and Tony go up onto the Helicarrier to plead for Ella’s freedom, but are stuck in a waiting room over looking the interrogation room where Director Fury is speaking with Ella. The room is reinforced, almost unnecessarily for an unarmed teenager. Howard and Tony can’t hear anything going on, but Fury is grilling Ella for everything about what’s happened, from the plane crash to Infinity. And as she explains, he reminds her of the damage she’s caused and asks how she intends to make up for it.
And honestly. That’s about as far as I’ve gotten. I don’t really know what do do from here, Ella probably gets her shit figured out and becomes a member of the Avengers or something. I dunno, but I’ve had this drafted for like two years now and I’ve been holding onto this until now, but this is probably the longest post on this site but whatever, have it. Maybe I’ll make more, i dunno. But you should totally watch Iron Man Armored Adventures. It’s good. Thanks, bye

Sober Thoughts | Steve Rogers/Captain America x Stark!Male!Reader
REUPLOAD A/N: Hi. It is currently 12:41 AM – another restless night unfortunately sigh. After watching a YouTube video of someone reading the infamous Harry Potter fanfiction My Immortal (I love you Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way), I became filled with unbridled inspiration to write something of my own. Anyways, enjoy! Also this is the very first fanfiction I’ve ever written. Please please please (by Sabrina Carpenter) give constructive feedback that won’t be too harsh on my little soul. This’ll be a fluffy fanfic. I'll dabble in smut later on maybe if y'all enjoy this enough...teehee. Happy BRAT summer/autumn 💚
P.S. Any errors you see will be excused by the fact English is not my first language and NOT because I suck at writing and revising ;) This fic will also be posted on Ao3 after they accept my invitation. Pls let me in Ao3.
Sober Thoughts
Word count: 4.7k
Summary: Y/N gets very drunk in front of Steve
Warnings: Alcohol, profanity
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Being the son of Pepper Potts and the eccentric billionaire, playboy and philanthropist (in that exact order) Tony Stark came with its fair share of drawbacks. While financial security was a given for Y/N, a side that came with this coverage was endless PR events. Being the sole heir to the Stark company, Y/N was forcefully thrusted into the public eye at a very young age, constantly forced to appear at social gatherings for the general public to gain somewhat of a perception of him – hopefully for the better. Today was one of these socially exhausting days, and perhaps his least favourite event of all – the annual ‘Stark Gala: proceeds going to various charities!’ A boring name he is very well aware of, and yes the ‘proceeds going to various charities’ line was annoyingly part of the title – something he had so valiantly fought Tony on, albeit unsuccessfully.
The gala starts in 2 hours. Currently, in stereotypical Stark fashion, Y/N lay sedentary on his bed, staring at the ceiling whilst pondering for ways to escape the tiring event. Amidst his angsty mood, a knock arose from his door followed by Tony entering his room.
“Hey bud, no more moping around,” he said after flipping the light switch in Y/N's room, “gala’s not gonna dance itself.”
Y/N turned and laid on his belly, eyes stuffed into his pillow in an attempt to suppress the bright lights, “What if I just don’t come, dad? Just chalk my absence to a cold for the press, please. I have no will nor strength to do this.”
“You know you can’t do that, Y/N/N. The public requests you grace them with your holy presence at the gala.”
“Dad, what if I just set fire to the venue?”
Tony scoffed at his son's comment. “Don’t bother with that sassy attitude, kid. It’ll be over in a flash. Just enjoy, grab some drinks – and hey you might even find yourself a nice date there.” He said, adjusting a frame on the wall. “My best advice is mingle until your mouth falls off – my dad used to say that to me.”
As Tony continued slightly tidying Y/N's room, a muffled groan erupted from his pillow. Y/N knew he was very well right; there was no escaping. Resigning to his fate, he abruptly stood up from his bed and began rummaging through his closet. “Fine. I’m going because I want to go, not because you’re forcing me to.”
Tony chuckled and ruffled Y/N's hair. “That’s the spirit, champ. I promise you these things can be fun if you let them. Soak up the atmosphere. And enjoy the drinks.” He then murmured, “Just not too much, as well ‘cause…you know.”
Tony’s sudden shift in tone was in reference to Y/N's relationship with alcohol. While Tony was notorious for being able to hold his liquor, the alcohol-tolerance gene had unfortunately not been passed down to his son. The last time Y/N drank, which had been at Clint’s birthday party, he had somehow woken up inside of a dumpster – not even exaggerating. Another time, he had taken a plane to Washington and found himself passed out on a bench outside the Pentagon – also not a hyperbole. Aware of this knowledge, Y/N planned on getting absolutely wasted in order to pass the time and to make the night somewhat memorable.
Y/N ran a hand through his hair attempting to fix it whilst looking for proper attire. “Yes, yes I know, father figure. Do you promise it won’t be boring like last year?”
Tony feigned an offended look, putting his palm against his chest. “Boring? There was an open bar and a chocolate fountain – all appearing again this year, by the way. What more could a man ask for?”
“To not come.” Y/N said begrudgingly.
“Okay well sometimes certain things can’t be provided, sugar plum.” A grimace found itself on Y/N's face after hearing the nickname. Before he could respond, Tony was already halfway through the door. “Anyways, be ready by 8; we’re leaving at 8:30 sharp.”
------------------------------------
The night was, to say the least, already an absolute dread. Upon arriving at the upper-echelon-esque museum where the gala was being held, Y/N was already drained. After exiting the limousine that took both him and Tony to the museum, a torrent of camera flashes had blinded Y/N. Furthermore, before even entering the museum, a news reporter had shoved a microphone into his face and asked a very invasive question about his lovelife. Before Y/N could insult the reporter’s rude behaviour, Tony quickly grabbed his arm and ushered him into the museum.
It was very well aware by the public of Y/N's choice of abstaining from dating, never really having any serious relationships. This was especially questionable for the public considering who his father was, with everyone believing Y/N would’ve followed in lieu of his behaviour during his 20’s.
However, what the public didn’t know was that the reason for Y/N's singleness was because of one of his dad’s blonde colleagues (that wasn’t Thor). Y/N's crush for Steve Rogers AKA Captain America had simmered for the last few months. It began during an incident in the Avenger’s Compound in which the inherent Stark idiocy had decided to bite Y/N severely in the ass.
------------------------------------
It had been late at night and Y/N had been tinkering on some project in one of Tony’s spare workshops in the compound when his phone suddenly rang. Picking it up, he saw Tony was calling him. He paused the music blaring in the workshop’s speakers before answering his dad.
“Hey bud, I have a favour to ask.”
“What is it, father figure?” He set down a screwdriver he was holding down on the workshop table.
“First, you know I hate it when you call me that. Second, there are some files that were delivered to my office that need to be put into storage in the room beside the training area. Would you mind doing it for me?”
“And why can’t you get Happy or yourself to do it?”
“Well I am actually currently at dinner right now with your mother and we are having a blast right now, and Happy is enjoying a paid holiday in the Bahamas.”
With an overexaggerated sigh, Y/N hung up on Tony and accepted without further question.
Heading towards Tony’s office, he marvelled at the emptiness of the Avenger’s Compound. While he never interacted much with the Avengers, only in passing, he was aware that some of them were nightowlers. However, there really was no one. Usually, there would be at least a SHIELD agent somewhere, but tonight the building was completely desolate.
Upon arriving at Tony’s office, Y/N immediately noticed the large boxes propped on his dad's desk. He had clearly underestimated the sizes of the office boxes, with one he (very dramatically) guesstimated being the size of his torso’s length with a width of a baby whale. Unfortunately for him, there were 5 boxes in total. Being the impatient ass he is, he had decided to carry all of the boxes in one go to spare himself having to return to Tony’s office for a second trip. He noticeably struggled and after leaving Tony’s office, he immediately regretted his decision, wishing he inherited more of his mother’s patience. From a bystander's perspective, it was a comical sight seeing Y/N Stark carrying a tower of boxes almost twice his height.
After rounding a sharp corner – something that could’ve been easily avoided considering the size of the building’s hallways – Y/N crashed right into another person. Y/N, along with the boxes, crashed loudly and painfully against the cement floor.
"Shit," Y/N said out loud. The embarrassment from the predicament was too much for him, so he opted for keeping his eyes on the ground, seemingly becoming very interested in the flooring's designed patterns. He stayed in that position, wallowing in his shame until the other person he had forgotten about spoke up.
"Sorry about that, kid." A low and husky voice spoke above Y/N. Y/N moved his eyes from the floor to the other man in the hallway. He was met with piercing blue eyes and a head of light blonde hair. Great. Not only had he embarrassed himself in front of someone, but that certain someone had to be Captain America of all people. Flashing the best smile he could conjure, Y/N stood up from the floor in an attempt to save as much face as possible.
"No, no, it was all my fault Steve," Y/N chirped. Wow, he sounded like a complete wimp. Not only that, but he called Captain America by his actual legal government name. Y/N did not consider himself close enough to call Captain America Steve. The situation was further going off the rails as they both stood in an uncomfortable silence for what seemed like forever. Suddenly, Steve spoke again, breaking the suffocating air of awkwardness.
"Need help with those." Steve said, smiling slightly at Y/N. Thinking back on it now, it was definitely the smile that got Y/N hooked into Steve. With a curt nod, both of the men started cleaning the mess of files. "Do these need to be in a specific order?" Steve questioned. Quite frankly, Y/N did not care for the files' order; he was much more preoccupied with the strange feeling down in his stomach. He slapped himself internally before answering Steve.
"I'm not sure actually. The person reading these can decipher that themself." Steve chuckled at his words. An actual, genuine laugh. Y/N found whatever he said to not be as funny Steve was making it out to be. But nevertheless, good job Y/N! You made Captain America laugh at something you said! After tidying the files, the two of them started walking, Y/N in the lead with Steve following in his stead.
"Where to, Stark Jr.?"
"The storage room by the training grounds."
The walk to the files' designated area was filled with silence – not uncomfortable like before, but instead a somewhat pleasant quiet. Deciding to be bold, Y/N asked Steve a question.
"What do you do all day?" Wow, Y/N didn't intend on that sounding as rude as it did.
"What do you mean?" Steve responded.
"Like, what do you do when there isn't a mission where you have to save the world or anything." Great save, Y/N said to himself.
"Well, if there isn't a mission I usually train in the gym – nothing bad in doing some extra training. Other than that, I usually visit SHIELD's headquarters to do business that I'm sure you're not interested in hearing about." He turned and smiled at Y/N after saying the last part. The strange feeling was there again.
"That honestly sounds like a miserable existence." Y/N said. Steve laughed and Y/N smiled, proud of himself for making Captain America laugh a second time this night. "Do you have any actual free time at all?"
"The only time we get to ourselves are weekends. I typically go for jogs in the morning then catch up on any work I didn't get to finish from the weekday. By the time I finish, it's already pretty late at night." As Steve continued to talk, Y/N couldn't help but sneak glances at him. Y/N had noticed a smile was etched on Steve's face and he wondered if it was because Steve enjoyed his company or if he was merely entertained by their topic of conversation. "If I have any time to spare, I like to draw. I've started taking painting classes recently."
Y/N debated on whether or not to make a joke about Steve's work and him not "finishing" fast enough, but thought it was too weird even for him. "Wow, even on your day off your life sounds bland – aside from the drawing part I guess." Steve had laughed once more at what Y/N said, and Y/N silently applauded himself once again.
Steve's smile persisted despite Y/N's slight insult to his daily life. "My turn to ask. What do you do all day? I never see you around that much."
"That's 'cause I'm usually cooped up in a lab somewhere doing tech stuff I'm sure you're not interested in hearing about." Steve chuckled again. "If I'm not doing techy stuff, then I'm usually doing boring paperwork for Stark industries. And if I'm not doing that, I'm sleeping peacefully in my bed."
"Now I'm offended by you calling my life bland when yours’ is equally as boring, Y/N," Steve joked.
"It'd be more exciting if you were in it." Oh Y/N, what exactly are you saying now? Suddenly, the signature Stark flirtiness accumulated within Y/N as the next words left his lips. "You should join me on my bed sometime." Oh sweet Jesus. Even Y/N himself shriveled from pure disgust at what he just said. It wasn't even a remotely good pickup line. He fully expected Steve to bolt away as soon as possible and leave him behind with the behemoth-sized boxes.
Before Steve could respond, the pair found themselves in front of the storage room. Steve opened the door for Y/N who could only mumble a quiet thanks in response as he was still shaken up from his earlier misspeaking. Finding a secluded table in the room, Y/N set down the boxes with Steve following in suit. The two then exited the room and found themselves in yet again another uncomfortable silence. Before Y/N could hurriedly escape, Steve spoke.
"You should get out of your lab more. I'd like to see more of you around if that's possible." Upon hearing that, the feeling from earlier was present again in Y/N's stomach except it had been exponentially stronger this time. "I enjoyed talking with you, Y/N."
It was as if Y/N had lost any inkling of social awareness as he said his next remark. "You'd practically have to pry me off a workbench with those big arms of yours, Steve."
Steve only laughed in response, clearly somewhat amused by Y/N's bold eccentricity. "I'll see you around, Y/N." Steve started walking away before suddenly turning around with a smirk on his mouth. "Oh, and I'll take you up on that earlier offer."
------------------------------------
Ironically enough, Y/N and Steve have yet to converse with each other again after their brief encounter. This was mainly due to Y/N avoiding Steve after having said his embarrassing comments – especially about Steve's arms, something Y/N can't help but gag at upon reflection. Looking back at their moment together, Y/N can only sigh and hope the super soldier forgot about his humiliating behaviour.
Looking around the museum, Y/N stared in awe at the inside's appearance. The building itself had replicated the architecture and grandeur of Ancient Greece, with large columns on the building's interior and exterior. While the building itself was an architectural beauty, what really stood out were the floral decorations garnered around the room, both on the tables surrounding the middle of the museum designated as a dance floor and hanging in between the interior pillars. Y/N had to remind himself to find his mother later, who arrived hours earlier to help decorate, and commend her keen taste in floral arrangements.
Y/N's moment taking in the interior decor was interrupted when he was approached by Tony and a stubby man wearing a suit. Tony introduced the man to Y/N who turned out to be one of Stark Industries' business partners. Nothing notable was said in their conversation aside from numbers and Y/N's vision for the future of Stark Industries. This was how the first half of the night went: Tony introduced Y/N to one of his business partners, boring conversations about logistics would ensue, Y/N was asked about his ideas on Stark Industries' future – rinse and repeat. After numerous runs of this seemingly perpetual cycle, Y/N's social battery had been absolutely drained and Operation Get-Drunk-And-Pass-Out was set in motion. Excusing himself from Tony's presence, Y/N ran a beeline towards the bar, his stride swift with determination to get his hands on anything alcoholic.
Taking a seat at the bar, Y/N began thinking about what he would drink. Suddenly forgetting every alcoholic beverage that ever existed, he waved down the bartender to get his first drink of the night. "I'd like whatever will get me the most piss-faced, please." The bartender simply gave him a cordial smile and nod before pouring a single clear liquid into a small shot glass. He then gave Y/N the glass who before drinking said, "bottoms up." The mystery liquid was absolutely repulsive and scorched Y/N's throat. His face puckered up in pain, eyes shut as tears formed at the brim of his ducts. "Jesus, dude, what is this!?"
"Everclear." The man answered with a very thick Russian accent. Y/N had no idea what that was nor was aware of its very high alcoholic percentage, almost being pure alcohol. What he did know was the vile taste and painful burn signified it was able to get him 100% wasted.
"I'll take 10 more of those, please."
------------------------------------
At shot four, Y/N's vision had started getting blurry, his lips and skin felt tingly, and he kept laughing at the most nonsensical things to laugh at. His drunkenness was made very apparent for everyone at the bar when he pointed towards someone's poorly trimmed goatee and laughed maniacally at it. While his actions had been in poor-taste and he was making a grand fool of himself, Y/N could care less as he revelled with his newly acquainted friend, Everclear.
Before downing shot number five, a man had approached and sat beside Y/N and began ordering. To his surprise, Captain America in the flesh had situated himself beside him at the bar. Knowing Y/N's already embarrassing encounter with him sober, only God knows what was about to ensue between the two of them while he was intoxicated.
“Enjoying the night, Mr. America?” Y/N slurred.
“Clearly not as much as you, Y/N.” Steve responded. He was currently sporting a classic black and white tux with a dark blue tie. His attire, while as basic and stereotypical as they come for a formal event, suited him perfectly. Being the idiot Y/N was while drunk, the spike of confidence that surged within him caused him to comment on Steve's appearance.
Y/N leaned towards Steve, getting very close in his personal space, then saying, “apologies, Captain, but you sure do look ravishing if I do say so myself. I’m proud to be an American.” Y/N giggled at himself while Steve looked at him with an amused expression.
“If I didn’t know any better I’d say you’re flirting with me, Y/N.” Steve said, flashing his captivating smile. Y/N stared at him with dazed eyes before leaning back and downing his fifth shot of liquid courage.
"Maybe I am flirting with you, Steve. That's what I was doing last time we talked in case you didn't realize."
"Yes, you were quite subtle the last time we spoke." He said sarcastically. He took a sip of whatever he ordered from the bar before continuing. "Speaking of, I've been meaning to talk to you ever since that night, but I could never get a hold of you."
Y/N laughed, not knowing if Steve actually knew why he hasn't seen him since or if he really was oblivious. "Well, Steve, I was avoiding you because I made a fool of myself the last time we talked." A hiccup came out of Y/N's throat. "And then I said to myself, 'Steve probably thinks I'm weird so I'll avoid him to prevent any further embarrassment'."
"Well, I really did enjoy our conversation last time, Y/N. I mean it."
Similar to their last encounter, a wave of deafening silence consumed the pair's conversation, the awkward tension causing Y/N to become slightly sober. Fortunately for him, the alcohol was still very much prevalent in his bloodstream, giving him enough confidence to break the awkward silence.
"Sometimes I wish I could just run away – leave this life behind and escape to some deserted island.” Y/N glanced towards Steve who was already looking at him. "It's too much at times – this life."
"It would be easier if you had someone with you for the journey."
Y/N looked at him, feigning an incredulous look. "Are you implying with your word choice, manner of speaking and overall cadence that you want to be that person for me?" Y/N laughed, scoffed was more like it. "I'd say you're the person flirting with me, Steve."
Steve chuckled softly, his eyes never leaving Y/N. "Maybe I am, Y/N."
Y/N could only stare at him as his heart skipped a beat. Perhaps it was the alcohol messing with his senses and disposition, but his usual wit was gone and he was speechless – a rare moment for Starks. Noticing his hesitation, Steve leaned in slightly, lowering his voice to a near whisper.
"Y/N, you don't have to go through this life alone. I've seen through your father how hard it can be for someone in your position. But you don't have to bear it all by yourself."
"Do you really mean that, Steve? Or are you just saying all this because I'm drunk and pathetic." Y/N's voice wavered, the confidence he had during their last encounter was noticeably absent.
Steve reached out, placing a hand on Y/N's shoulder. "I've noticed you, Y/N. Even though we haven't talked much, I can already tell you're a special person. You're more than just Tony Stark's kid. There's something unique about you. And I want to get to know you more."
The butterflies Y/N felt during their last encounter returned and did pirouettes in his stomach. "I don't know what to say, Steve."
"You don't have to say anything right now. Just know I'll be here and I won't be leaving anytime soon."
Y/N looked at Steve, a whirlwind of emotions torpedoing inside of him. For the first time in a long time, he didn't feel so alone. The confidence suddenly returned and a smile braced itself on Y/N's face. "Are you technically asking me out?"
Steve only laughed in response before standing up and saying, "I can take you home now if you want."
Y/N quickly stood up. "Oh yes please, Steve. Another minute in here and I think I'll have an aneurysm." As the two started walking, a sudden wave of a burdening reminder of his father's presence washed over Y/N. "Wait, I can't leave – dad said I-."
Before Y/N could finish, Steve quickly interrupted him. "I think everyone here, including Tony, can see you're in no condition to be here any longer."
Y/N could only nod, too exhausted to protest. As they exited the building Y/N's head grew heavy, and it gently fell onto Steve’s shoulder. Steve tensed for a moment, then relaxed as his arm slowly wrapped around Y/N’s waist, pulling him closer. “Take me home, Steve,” Y/N mumbled softly against his shoulder, his breath warm against Steve’s neck.
"That's what I'm doing right now, Y/N." Steve said softly.
------------------------------------
After exiting the building, Steve hailed one of the idle limousines across the museum. He had to carefully slide in Y/N's body before sliding in beside him.
The ride back to the Avenger's Compound was quiet and tranquil, a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the earlier evening. Steve glanced at his watch - it said 3:33 AM - then turned his gaze towards Y/N's sleeping body leaning against the car window. A small dribble of saliva was escaping the corners of his mouth, and Steve quietly chuckled.
"I can feel you looking at me. Cut it out."
"Unfortunately, I can't seem to stop my eyes from lingering on things I find beautiful." Y/N could only blush at Steve's unexpectedly sappy words, unaware the super soldier had it in him to be a corny romantic.
"You're no better than any other man, Steve Rogers," Y/N teased, though his voice was softer than before. Steve smiled, but was interrupted by a loud yawn erupting from his mouth. Abruptly, Y/N sat up straight from his slouched position, suddenly remembering something in his drunken haze. "You know, you still have yet to cash in on my offer, Steve."
"You mean your offer to be in bed with you?" Steve asked, his tone in between amusement and curiosity.
Y/N eagerly nodded. "I wouldn't mind if that happened tonight."
Steve's head turned at a concerning speed that definitely would've given a normal person severe whiplash. He gave Y/N a stern yet somber look, one that carried warmth with a reprimanding undertone behind it. "I'm not going to sleep with you, Y/N. I mean, you're drunk and that would be me taking advantage of you – I'd like to think you expect better from me."
Y/N blinked, looking both very offended and embarrassed. "That is absolutely not what I meant, Steve, you naughty man!" He crossed his arms and sunk into the limo's soft leather seats. "I meant that it would be nice if we just laid and went to sleep together...I just don't want to be alone tonight."
Steve's expression softened immediately, understanding the vulnerability behind Y/N's words. Their eyes met, a silent agreement shared between them, filling the rest of the ride with warmth from their comforting connection.
As the car grew quiet again, Y/N, emboldened by the last remnants of alcohol in his system, threw one more cheeky remark towards Steve. "But you would have sex with me, right?"
Steve laughed, his head shaking, but the tenderness in his smile spoke volumes. "Get some rest, Y/N. We'll talk in the morning."
------------------------------------
Y/N stirred awake in his bed, his eyes wincing as the harsh rays pierced through a gap between his bedroom curtains. His head pounded, and a wave of nausea met him immediately. Unable to fight it, Y/N ran to his bathroom, purging the contents of last night's festivities in his toilet. It was quite a horrid sight.
After what seemed like hours, Y/N exited from his bathroom, wanting to get more sleep. Stumbling back to his bed, he noticed the large body-shaped mound from underneath his blankets. Frightened, he approached it cautiously, scared of the idea of having drunkenly slept with a stranger.
Slowly uncovering the body, Y/N was met with the peaceful sight of a sleeping Captain America. Steve's chest rose and fell steadily, lips parted as he took even breaths. Then, the events of the previous night came rushing back to him like a semi-good dream and Y/N mentally facepalmed himself. However, while he internally scolded himself for his embarrassing behaviour, he also congratulated himself for having been somewhat successful in his endeavours of pursuing Steve.
Laying back down gingerly beside Steve, Y/N grabbed his phone from the nightstand. The time was 11:11 AM and Y/N silently made a wish to himself. He noticed he had received 10 missed calls and nearly 50+ messages from his dad. Thinking it was regarding his early leave from the gala, Y/N decided to deal with his father later, still exhausted from the night before. Opening Twitter (he refused to call it 'X'), Y/N's eyebrows furrowed as he saw his name trending alongside 'Steve Rogers' and 'Captain America.' A knot formed in his stomach and he decided to Google his name. The urge to puke suddenly returned as he was met with a news article reading:
‘Hottest New Couple in NYC?! – Captain America & Y/N Stark Seen Seen Getting Cozy During Annual Stark Gala’
Below the headline was a picture snapped of Steve and Y/N at the bar, Steve leaning closely towards Y/N as both shared very flirtatious smiles towards each other. Y/N groaned loudly, causing Steve to stir awake. Today was going to be PR hell.
FIN
A/N: This actually took multiple days to write and while rereading it it's actually really corny? But, fanfic writing is actually kind of fun, I might do it more. Anyways, hope you enjoyed :) Also sorry for any mistakes I'm too lazy to revise

You. Spill the beans on your SM ocs.
Pwease? 🥺
Very random Ruth facts for now ig cause I can't tell a story in a coherent way
•Their Full name is Ruth Kettle. It's a pun and if you can tell how exactly I'll kiss you.
•Their Mom is Lydia Potts (maiden name), a baker that used to own a bakery in the spooky town (does it have an actual name?? I can't recall).
• Ruth grows up and becomes a dentist and later on meets Gene Skewer, his close friend and assistant, who gets dragged into Ruth's shenanigans.
•They get in the cult thanks to Bob and pushed to commit various crimes with him. The most vile part in them gets to shine alongside him.
• The incident™ involves Ruth saving Gene and becoming a vampire.
•They become a lot more aggressive with their vampire powers, feeling invencible and untouchable.
•Hunger is painful for them, that's reason why they become so erratic and messy when feeding (aka mauling their victims). Though they do like to play with them when they still have a grip on reality.
• They don't wanna accept that this sadistic side has been a part of them even before they were bit
•They take down all their missing posters and save one to use as a mirror. They often end up tearing them to shreds or talk to it in their most delirious moments.
•This my voice claim for them!
Here's a playlist with lore sprinkled all over it. It's 5 hrs long i gotta rework it 🤧
https://spotify.link/ULimCKSo7yb
I didn't mean to make a spooky month oc this.. this... yeah. They started off so so so silly and now I've given them unncessary complex lore. JUST SO THEY COULD KISS WITH FRANK HSHASHAAA

Tag Game
Thank you for tagging me @rainy-nights-and-fairy-lights
1. A time period I feel I’d do well in:
Honestly I don’t know, since I’m a marauders fan I’d want to say 70s but I know that’s not true. There’s a part of me that would like to go to the early 2000s as an adult this time instead of a baby, idk though.
2. A mythical animal I wish I could be:
I’m not sure, the first thought is a dragon but I don’t think that’s as much my vibe (as much as I would like it to be), I feel like I would be some sort of river creature floating about, like a cool duck or a pickle in a pond (if you get the reference then I love you)
3. Your favorite time of day:
Sunset is beautiful, though there’s always a bit of fear with the sun setting as soon after the bad thoughts start to become more alive and active. Sunrise is cool but despite how early I wake up I still end up being too lazy for sunrise.
4. The main character that’s the most like you:
Does Remus Lupin from All The Young Dudes count? I feel like I relate more to him than many other main characters.
5. Favorite flower:
A wolf flower called the Indian Blanket flower
6. A universe you would love to be in:
Riordanverse, is there so many terrible things happening? Yeah, but most of the issues are things that are more within their control and not as much is caused by billionaires. Plus the company amazon is controlled by the actual amazons and that’s dope as hell. This is probably a shitty choice but I stand by it.
7. The aesthetic you wish you had:
All of them. But I guess specifically goth femboy, beautiful elvish princess, victorian man with a tall hat and long coat, big sweater big coat mossy sort of vibe, and everything that I imagine Sirius Black has going on (punk, leather jackets, skirts, etc)
8. A character you would love to be:
Gene who is french fries, to just have that charisma to automatically enamor people and be so beloved. Maybe also The Professor for the same reason plus I get to travel in time, plus I get to listen to dope songs all the time, plus I get to infodump about history.
9. A character you would be best friends with:
Lily Evans, Mary McDonald, Bill Potts, Rory Pond (I can’t remember actual last name), Soos, and there’s more that I’d like to be friends with but in reality would probably be too socially awkward

A woman of many talents! I'm jealous! I always wanted to play an instrument. Sadly I did not get any musical genes. Okay, so I didn't just make that up in my head then, great! That's an awesome combo. I love it. More Mrs. Potts Angela, or Murder She Wrote? Did you know she played Elvis' mom in Blue Hawaii? Well his character, I mean. It was crazy seeing her so young! I would love that for sure. When and where do you play?
Well hello there gorgeous. I do both actually, I play like six different instruments, but I mainly play guitar for the band. So it is inspired by Angela Lansbury, but also Pamela Anderson. We have the raw sex appeal of Pamela, but the quiet dignity of Angela. You should come listen to us some time.

Dunbar Ivy, MD - phaware® interview 472
Dr. Dunbar Ivy, a pediatric cardiologist at the University of Colorado, discusses the upcoming World Symposium on Pulmonary Hypertension, where experts from around the world will gather to discuss the progress made and future directions. Dr. Ivy highlights the work of the pediatric pulmonary hypertension task force, which aims to develop expert opinions on various topics, including the role of different therapies for patients who have failed all available medical treatments. The task force also focuses on understanding genetic abnormalities and developmental lung disorders, defining pulmonary hypertension in neonates, and addressing the challenges of clinical trials for pediatric patients. The task force plans to publish their findings in 2024 and welcomes feedback from the medical community.
Hi, I’m Dunbar Ivy. I'm a pediatric cardiologist at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. I've had an interest in pulmonary hypertension for very close to 30 years. For me, it's been a very exciting journey to see things move from really, no therapies, to one therapy to over 12 therapies. That's really been exciting to be able to use some of those medicines off label, but I think they really have helped children and improve survival. This year will be our next meeting of the World Symposium on Pulmonary Hypertension. It's a meeting every five years or so. The goals of the meeting are to get experts from around the world in all aspects of pulmonary hypertension to bring together and develop ideas as to where have we come since the last meeting certainly, and also where should we go? What are the things that we need to keep working on? It's exciting for us. I believe this is our third year to have a pediatric pulmonary hypertension task force. I think it's really wonderful to see how far pediatrics has come. There are eight clinicians chosen by the steering committee to meet and develop our own ideas and to write them down and to develop a paper so that we can share some knowledge. It's important to note that they're not guidelines. They're sort of an expert opinion kind of document. The group is going to focus on several things. One is in patients who have failed all available medical therapies, what is the role of the Potts shunt versus an atrial septostomy versus lung transplant? Which patient would benefit most from which of those therapies? And is there a preferred order? Some of this I think really depends on the capabilities of the center, but we'll try to provide some guidance in terms of which therapy for which patient. Other things that we're very interested in is there's been really an explosion of interest in knowledge in developmental lung disorders from genetic abnormalities. The TBX4 mutation has raised a lot of interest in which patients have this, and it's the second most common gene mutation and is interestingly found even in adults sort of later on or in newborn babies. So, there's some exciting pathobiology that we need to learn about, for example, for that mutation, but also others. We're going to work on the definition of pulmonary hypertension in neonates. I think that's well established in adults that they have a mean pulmonary pressure greater than 20 millimeters of mercury in an elevated pulmonary vascular resistance. But many of the patients that we take care of are neonates and we're not able to perform cardiac catheterization on them. So, we're trying to define some criteria that would be suggestive of an elevation of pulmonary artery pressure. Then, the key really is to say why is the pressure elevated? Is it from a left heart problem? Is it a right heart problem? Is it from pulmonary veins? Is it from intracardiac shunt, for example? I think there's a need for that for some definition of pulmonary hypertension in neonates.
It's a well-known and well respected conference. These are proceedings, again, they're not guidelines. But I think they're very well-read and I think that people take these recommendations seriously. From being on the committee for the last two sessions, we do get challenged on our thoughts, which is totally fine. But I think again, it sort of helps people to focus a little bit and to have a more clear definition of some things and directions. One very, very important area is clinical trials for approval of medications in children with pulmonary hypertension. The approach is similar but very different between the US and Europe. I think there's a higher standard showing a drug is effective in the United States, whereas in Europe, they tend to rely more on the adult trials for the efficacy. Then, they look at the pharmacokinetics, how the drug is metabolized and what the drug levels are in safety. Now, certainly we still do that in children in the States, but we'd like to have a common pathway for Europe and the US for drug approval. One of the things that we will discuss is the challenges of enrollment. In order to get a drug approved in the United States, we are going to have to have enrolled trials. Right now, a lot of the trials are stopped early because they can't enroll. So, there's been a lot of thought about why that is. The design of the trials has changed so that I think families were very nervous about repeat heart catheterizations, for example. So those are not allowed in the trials anymore. Many of them will have a heart catheterizations as an entry criteria just to be sure that we know the right disorder. But then we're looking for non-invasive ways to show that the drugs are helping the children. I think the trickle down is that we always learn a lot from our adult colleagues. They have more evidence-based guidelines than we do. Ours are more experience-based. So, when I go to that meeting, I try to attend every session I can to learn from our adult colleagues. There's 14 other sessions and one pediatric, so we're in the minority, but it's a very passionate group. I think all of us like going to the whole meeting and not just to the pediatric session. These are the ideas that we have. We will continue to meet at least monthly to go through these ideas and work them out and see if we're thinking about things correctly. Then, we're pretty sure the manuscript will be published this year in 2024. So, we'll be excited to get our ideas out there and also to get feedback. My name is Dr. Dunbar Ivy, and I'm aware that my patients are rare.

Hi. I just finished classes for their semester & I’m on my 2 week break from classes. Feeling nostalgic & wanted to wish Queen, Mrs. Potts, Ariel, & Pascal a wonderful holiday season! This blog has always been so much fun (even during all the nonsense). And that’s because of the mods (and the anons that aren’t meannies). I remember years ago coming on here when Jenny was always posting cryptic stuff during the holidays and my family’s like “WTF are you laughing at?!” when I wanted to check out during one of “those” convos. Now Chris is all married and junk. lol! Look at us huh? Who’d have thought 😂 Anyways, wishing you ladies nothing but the best. Thanks for the laughs. Things are rough out there. And don’t hate me… I hope this Gene Kelly project stays buried. I would rather see him in other projects 😶🌫️ He does comedy better than he thinks. The losers and Scott pilgrim are my heart! ❤️
