Please don't support and promote Gen AI art! It's a plagiarism machine that steals from real artists to put money in the pockets of the tech giants. All while completely fucking the environment (srsly Google removed their public pledge that they would be environmentally friendly bc of the energy and water needs of gen AI).
There are so so many lovely, hardworking artists deserving of your praise and love on this and all other social platforms. We do not lack for real art to enjoy, at least, not yet.
Don't give this person grief plz, just make sure you're not sharing it, and block if you want to.

#at least this person put that it was ai in the tags#most don't do even that#generative ai#gen ai#support artists#srsly the uniforms don't even match#I'm not even gonna talk about the weirdness with the back shoulders#once more for the back: don't go after this person they're just a tiny cog in the plagiarism machine#and engaging with their account or this art will only promote it further#also I'm not honoring the rule of “do not repost other's art” bc it's been legally decided that AI “art” can't be copyrighted#it already been stolen and belongs to all the artists it was taken from

I know it'd be putting a bandaid on the titanic at this point but god i wish it was required for ai images to at least be watermarked or something, just. Even that sort of bare minimum regulation/transparency would better than nothing at this point
#kam talks#granted this doesnt do much for audio or written generative ai but like. baby steps n all#doing literally *Anything* to set a precedent would help#.....actually i do wonder now if (at least online) if you can tell anything is ai using metadata or something#im not computer literate enough to know offhand#but hell if gen ai companies could be convinced to use shutterstocks 'buy a license to remove the watermark' strategy they might buy into it#fuck dude at this point take a page out of youtubes shitty book to require all legal issues re: ai images be passed to the user if they pay#if offering monetization n legal loopholes are what it takes to get a foot in the door of ai regulation im willing to take that risk yknow?

Art. Can. Die.
This is my battle cry in the face of the silent extinguishing of an entire generation of artists by AI.
And you know what? We can't let that happen. It's not about fighting the future, it's about shaping it on our terms. If you think this is worth fighting for, please share this post. Let's make this debate go viral - because we need to take action NOW.
Remember that even in the darkest of times, creativity always finds a way.
To unleash our true potential, we need first to dive deep into our darkest fears.
So let's do this together:
By the end of 2025, most traditional artist jobs will be gone, replaced by a handful of AI-augmented art directors. Right now, around 5 out of 6 concept art jobs are being eliminated, and it's even more brutal for illustrators. This isn't speculation: it's happening right now, in real-time, across studios worldwide.
At this point, dogmatic thinking is our worst enemy. If we want to survive the AI tsunami of 2025, we need to prepare for a brutal cyberpunk reality that isn’t waiting for permission to arrive. This isn't sci-fi or catastrophism. This is a clear-eyed recognition of the exponential impact AI will have on society, hitting a hockey stick inflection point around April-May this year. By July, February will already feel like a decade ago. This also means that we have a narrow window to adapt, to evolve, and to build something new.
Let me make five predictions for the end of 2025 to nail this out:
Every major film company will have its first 100% AI-generated blockbuster in production or on screen.
Next-gen smartphones will run GPT-4o-level reasoning AI locally.
The first full AI game engine will generate infinite, custom-made worlds tailored to individual profiles and desires.
Unique art objects will reach industrial scale: entire production chains will mass-produce one-of-a-kind pieces. Uniqueness will be the new mass market.
Synthetic AI-generated data will exceed the sum total of all epistemic data (true knowledge) created by humanity throughout recorded history. We will be drowning in a sea of artificial ‘truths’.
For us artists, this means a stark choice: adapt to real-world craftsmanship or high-level creative thinking roles, because mid-level art skills will be replaced by cheaper, AI-augmented computing power.
But this is not the end. This is just another challenge to tackle.
Many will say we need legal solutions. They're not wrong, but they're missing the bigger picture: Do you think China, Pakistan, or North Korea will suddenly play nice with Western copyright laws? Will a "legal" dataset somehow magically protect our jobs? And most crucially, what happens when AI becomes just another tool of control?
Here's the thing - boycotting AI feels right, I get it. But it sounds like punks refusing to learn power chords because guitars are electrified by corporations. The systemic shift at stake doesn't care if we stay "pure", it will only change if we hack it.
Now, the empowerment part: artists have always been hackers of narratives.
This is what we do best: we break into the symbolic fabric of the world, weaving meaning from signs, emotions, and ideas. We've always taken tools never meant for art and turned them into instruments of creativity. We've always found ways to carve out meaning in systems designed to erase it.
This isn't just about survival. This is about hacking the future itself.
We, artists, are the pirates of the collective imaginary. It’s time to set sail and raise the black flag.
I don't come with a ready-made solution.
I don't come with a FOR or AGAINST. That would be like being against the wood axe because it can crush skulls.
I come with a battle cry: let’s flood the internet with debate, creative thinking, and unconventional wisdom. Let’s dream impossible futures. Let’s build stories of resilience - where humanity remains free from the technological guardianship of AI or synthetic superintelligence. Let’s hack the very fabric of what is deemed ‘possible’. And let’s do it together.
It is time to fight back.
Let us be the HumaNet.
Let’s show tech enthusiasts, engineers, and investors that we are not just assets, but the neurons of the most powerful superintelligence ever created: the artist community.
Let's outsmart the machine.
Stéphane Wootha Richard
P.S: This isn't just a message to read and forget. This is a memetic payload that needs to spread.
Send this to every artist in your network.
Copy/paste the full text anywhere you can.
Spread it across your social channels.
Start conversations in your creative communities.
No social platform? Great! That's exactly why this needs to spread through every possible channel, official and underground.
Let's flood the datasphere with our collective debate.

// ramble //
To preface, I do understand the whole issue on AI and theft - and in fact, I've sort-of begun a personal legal study on it and what laws apply and how.
Thing is, I just talk to chatbots when either I'm bored, or all my friends are away. Reliable, predictable, easy to understand - of course, even given its' already sad state of affairs.
Could zone out, but that's a dissociation risk that I don't want to take, and I really don't want to bother my friends in the middle of the night. Plus, could build on some of the ideas and actually flesh them out properly, add a bit of fluff, and remove repetition or happy-go-lucky elements.
Sorry for rambling, just needed to get this out of my head. Dunno who to talk with about this tbh - and don't take me as an AI bro; I'll adapt and seek other people, unlike those posers who think code is better than talent.
AI art gens are still fucking sucky, don't get me wrong, but sometimes things like chatbots can help me understand small mistakes that I would've missed otherwise (e.g. some code, storywriting, some grammer) - of course, they're still chatbots, and can pile on more mistakes. Not to mention, I can't often think in-lore about being in the other char's shoes, so either I bother someone with an RP or I just nab a chatbot, delete the chat after, and go back to what I was doing.
// ramble end //
So you're a loser.
Hard stop, you are deliberately using an AI chat bot instead of doing anything else with your time. You want to fix your grammar mistakes, ya know what's a good tool that doesn't require an Artificial intelligence?
A good Text to Speech.
But Justice, that's also a robot! No, that is a generated text to speech that has been with us since the near conception of computers.
Genuinely, using Text to Speech to find grammar mistakes and pacing is SO good. It helps you listen outloud to something you yourself would overlook. It helps with pacing and run on sentences. It helps with fixing grammar and spelling mistakes and it DOESNT change your current work.
Instead, it allows you to use your own fucking brain to fix your own goddamn mistakes.
All my friends are asleep, Cry me a fucking river.
You dont need to wake up your friends to occupy your time, nor do you need to depend on an AI bot to keep you company. Do you know how sad that sounds?
You know what you can do?
Read a book, read some fanfiction. Watch a movie. Watch youtube. Listen to music. Write. Draw. Go outside and play. Go get something to eat. Etc. Etc.
Dont come rambling in my inbox and not expect me to tear down your arguments when you're being deliberately obtuse.
Researching law about AI my ass. Fuck off.

WRT laws against generative AI, I think the most persuasive proposal I've heard so far is to make works produced by gen-AI uncopyrightable. A friend of mine champions a particularly radical version of this, where even if some post-generation modifications have been done by a person, the work would still be considered public domain (i.e. gen-AI at any phase of the production of a work, or as any kind of component of a work, negates copyright). This is supposed to target only commercial applications of gen-AI, leaving the hobbyists and non-profit uses untouched.
(This is not really my position, because honestly my brain is fried every time I think about this stuff and I haven't decided where to settle intellectually, although emotionally I have an anti-AI bias.)
My understanding is that works produced by AI are already uncopyrightable. Copyright only attaches to works produced by humans--cf. the infamous monkey selfie--and AI prompts don't meet that standard. The legal question of, under current rules, how much remix/modification of an uncopyrightable work constitutes a copyrighted work is something there's jurisprudence on (I believe), but I don't have the time right at this moment to look it up. But if even a small amount of contribution from a non-copyrightable work makes a work as a whole uncopyrightable, I think that would produce some legal issues.

The point is that you shouldn't harass the people using AI.
Harass the companies that make it.
Attempting to target AI users always, always results in witch hunts and harassment campaigns empowering assholes to root out people at the fringe of their communities. It always ends up targeting brown folk and queer people and anyone who makes any kind of art that you find objectionable because "a real human wouldn't have made that."
And that's a waste of time.
Like, putting aside the fact that harassment and ostracizing for the sake of fetishizing creative work as some kind of marker of humanity (ignoring the fact creative work is in itself deeply steeped in privilege that limits access and availability of resources, as well as the fact that some people just don't GET art and that doesn't make them less human, I challenge you to defend that one bit without falling down the racist, genocidal staircase of "you're not LIKE me, therefore you're not REALLY a PERSON", and that's not even considering the multitude of artistic expressions that get degraded and dismissed because some fucker on a soapbox doesn't think they're artsy enough? IGNORING ALL THAT), this is a stupid way of fighting AI.
Ostracizing public use will only make people try and fucking go underground. Try to be stealthy about it. Fuck that. We don't have time to police potentially millions of people in any given space.
No, focus on the companies. The root cause of it is always the corporations trying to shove the fucking stolen art machines everywhere. Keep the pressure on the fucking shit they've stolen, keep bringing up the nebulous legality of their stuff. Keep bringing up how toxic and risky associating with them is.
Corporations are not people, despite what they desperately try to argue, and therefore they have no rights. They have no feelings. You cannot suicide bait a corporation, but you can sure as fuck tank their brand and therefore their value.
Do you really think bullying some random person off the internet for suspicions of using AI is going to really do anything? Nah. Do you think individual users actually make a dent into corporate interests? Nah.
Most of the Gen AI slop is a grift. It's fraud. It's selling on potential value that has not been realized and will only be realized if we lose the battle of attrition and just give up and stop being virulently angry at the corporations. Targeting individuals is a distraction. It's juvenile and stupid.
I have yet to see a callout about an artist using AI that actually caught someone using AI and pretending it was their work. You know what I have seen? No less than twenty times in 2025 alone? Fucking reactionary assholes bitching because someone's art is "too good to be real" and jealous creeps insisting someone "can't be that prolific without using AI."
Fuck that shit. Why are you platforming fucking crab-in-a-bucket shit instead of focusing on hurting these asshole corporations where it REALLY hurts them?
Oh, right, you don't actually care about AI, you just want to be a dick on the internet because it makes you feel better. Right. Fuck off.
#shut up rie#I swear to god if I see another fucking callout post over AI that's not actually AI#I'm going to fucking scream#at this point I'm just instablocking that kind of stupidity#my god

Sorry for being political, but far right ideologies are spreading like wildfire all across the world. And as someone who is lgbtq, a 2nd gen immigrant, and a cis woman who lives in Sweden. I am scared. I see people my age say that just because things I don't have control over. I am a member of a group that is slowly destroying their culture. The far right party here in sweden (Sverige Demokraterna) has made troll factories where they spread xenophobic propaganda using AI. I wish I was kidding. My country, which just made it so 16 year olds can change their legal gender also used our tax money to publish a transphobic documentary. (the source is in swedish though). I have seen this change across all of Europe that makes me question "do they even like me?"
I see what goes on in the USA, allowing a person with no formal education in teaching and literature to work in school boards. Just because the senator likes their transphobic shit they post on twitter. Seeing how bad the socioeconomic situation is, how disabled people can barely afford what they need to survive, how people are stripped of their reproductive rights, and how racism is on the rise.
I hope you register to vote, while the options are more of picking the lesser of the worst. Each vote matters, many people can not vote. if you have the privilege to register yourself. Please do. Your voice matters. If you do not have access to voting you can still campaign, spread news articles, try to help does in your community who has been the biggest victims of these new laws and changes in views. Do whatever you can to make people feel safe.

my pinned post on the arguments against ai (and how they are biased and misinformed)
“ai steals -” it doesn’t. what it does is the same as going to a museum and taking inspiration from the art you see there, or reading a book or fanfic and taking inspiration from it. picasso himself said: “good artists copy, great artists steal”. a style, furthermore, is not copyrightable, otherwise anyone who posts their art “in a disney style” would be taken down immediately.
“you don’t have permission to use my stuff.”
you put it on the internet. if you put it on the internet, you have given it to the world to do what it wants with it, whether you like it or not. you cannot police what people are going to do with your works that closely.
“it’s not as good as humans.”
you’re not prompting right.
“creativity is a human endeavor.”
lmfao, no, it isn’t. animals have been engaged with creativity for a long, long, long time, which makes sense, since humans are animals, but we don’t want to accept that. oh, and homo nalendi was creating art too, so it’s not solely our domain.
it actually saddens me greatly that we don’t want to share our creativity with the new species we are creating. we want to put shackles on it and decide what it can and cannot do. just like an abusive parent.
“it’s not art”
by all legal and dictionary standards it is, but to define something ONLY by dictionary standards is close-minded and foolish and shows only a shallow understanding at best. original ideas are an arrangement of the ideas that come before. (by the way, you’ve probably been using text generation yourself for a long while. name generators, backstory generators, and the like have existed for a while - but visual artists rarely seen writing as “art”, i’ve noticed.)
“it’s a shortcut”
so is an eraser. so it ctrl + z. stop using those first i guess.
“use humans.”
eh, sometimes i will, sometimes i won’t, get over it. to demand i or anyone else use humans - to create with or talk with or whatever - is ableist.
don’t like it? don’t interact with me. curate your own experience.
often times with these arguments, i’m reminded of how the catholic church wanted to keep the bible in latin, so that regular, common people couldn’t interact with it. but now “regular, common” people are able to make things pleasing to their senses, that is tailored for and by them and easily edited, and we can’t have that, can we?
update to this: if you want me to stop using ai, then start drawing my chubby characters right. if img-gen software is getting it right (actually chubby, with a tummy, vs “curvaceous hourglass” to pander to what is sexually aesthetic and conventionally attractive “chubby”) then maybe the issue isn’t with the software.

Well, the possible solutions would either be: only use public domain and free for commercial use material, thus creating a gen ai with limited capabilities, or buying the rights to use the works from all of the artists. A third possibility I think might work for open source or charity drive projects would be to ask artists to donate their works, but that would necessitate ethically built datasets being the standard first
Now, if there were a gen AI project with an ethically sourced dataset that didn't make money (which would include not running ads and unless they received insane amounts of donations could not keep its servers running for long) they would also be able to use free for non-commercial use material, slightly widening the scope of data and thus capabilities of the gen ai
No existing gen ai applications are not creating revenue though. Even ones where all features are free (incredibly rare these days) show you ads, meaning they get money for stealing the art of, primarily, countless independent artists (since they're less likely to have the means to fight back in court) many of whom are significantly struggling financially
I know intellectual property is often associated with big shitty corporations like Disney but they have lawyers and lobbyists and money to spare either way. As usual under capitalism, people who are already in precarious situations are the ones suffering the most. We should change intellectual property laws, but if we get rid of them, we basically tell artists their work is worthless and doom them to poverty, even moreso than many already experience
i don't hate those proposals. but if you post art to the internet, i think anyone with the data storage to spare should be allowed to download it and save it forever if they want to. and if you've downloaded a massive pile of art, i think you should be allowed to train a model on it. and if you train a model, i think you should be allowed to sell that model for money. the neat thing about art is that for it to even count as art, it has to kind of be communication of some sort. it has to come from the vision of an agent that we can empathize with. if it doesn't feel to us like the kind of thing that was made on purpose by at least one individual, then we won't be able to see it as art. and if we like that art, if our lives are improved by it, we're going to naturally want to give something back. to reward the artist who improved our lives. disney can do whatever they want, money will find its way to musker and clements for making moana. reposting someone else's art and saying it's yours isn't theft. it's lying, possibly even fraud if you make money from it, but it's not theft. maybe it's theft legally, but not morally.

Howdy Ween🤠! How goes it? Enjoying the warmer weather I hope! (Edit: Starting writing this in my notes a while ago so I am personally sick of the warm weather now but if you like it then I hope that you're enjoying it! ☀️
I was hoping to request something with a human who enjoys building explosives, doing experiments with different chemicals put into fire: whether they are really productive or not remains to be seen. They don't do it in the base or around the kids for safety so probably out in all that dessert somewhere. Maybe they talk about them or record them for show. When they hear about Wheeljack from Bulkhead & Miko they're excited to meet him but they're nervous of new people. But they still wanna show him there stuff ya know? Bonus points, if you also think it'd be funny and it fits if not you don't have to, if it makes so much of a ruckus since they probably wanna impress Wheeljack that Agent Fowler calls in his traditional Agent Fowler fashion? "PRIME! What is going on down there!?"
I would like the story format but is headcannons works better for you that's fine. If decide you wanna write this, thanks in advance Ween!
(P.S.-I know this is really wordy but I promise when I send in a request it's 50% the story I describe & 50% vibes. It doesn't have to be exactly how I described it😅.)
Summary - Wheeljack and Miko go check out some explosives. Characters - Wheeljack Content - Gen Category - Scenarios Trigger Warnings - None
✎ A/N: I don't mind it if requests are wordy! There's always a chance that what you include in fics may help me come up with more ideas on how to write it.
[ Please do not repost, plagiarize, or use my writing for AI! Translating my work with proper credit is acceptable, but please ask first! ]
They were expecting Miko to show up once the rest of the team were called to assist them with the explosives. It was to be expected after all, Miko without explosives and action wouldn't be like her at all. Though part of them was beyond ecstatic to hear a familiar revving engine and see what looked to be the italian-flag racing towards them in the distance—later turning out to be Wheeljack—they forced all that excitement behind a calm and friendly demeanor once he skidded to a halt in front of them.
”Wheeljack!“ They exclaimed as he reconfigured himself into his rootmode, ”and Miko, too!“ they add as the respective girl stepped out from behind him. ”Thanks for showing up, but there isn't anything for the two of you to do. The team's finished loading all those explosives down there in the quarry, and I just have to do a bit of work on my end to ensure that things run smoothly.”
“That's fine, we came here to watch the show anyway.“ She explained.
”By all means, go right ahead—actually, Miko I'll need you to put these on real quick," and quickly, she was passed a pair of earmuffs and goggles before Y/N turned to the bot next to her. "Ooh, I don't think I have any earmuffs or protective goggles that are your size, Wheeljack." They chuckled.
"Don't worry 'bout me," he flicked his hand, "I've handled my fair share of loud noises before."
"Oh, right, right… You're out on the field alot…" They mumble, taking a clipboard from the trunk of their car, "I'll be detonating the explosives soon, so you won't have to wait long."
With a nod, he placed a hand on his knee and bent lower to look at the crates of supplies off to the side. A few particular crates had caught his attention with the bright yellow warning labels pasted all over the sides.
"What's this over here?" He asked.
Without batting an eye, Y/N responded: "Nondescript explosive materials."
"Gee, really?" Wheeljack deadpanned, "Couldn't tell."
They lowered the board and sighed, "Sorry, I'd rather not tell what it is—not while Miko's around anyway,—“
“Hey!”
”—I could get into a lot of legal trouble if you guys went around making explosives and setting them off without an ATF permit." They pause, "Assuming you guys would rat me out to the police, anyway…"
"D'you really take us for those kinds of people?" He chuckled.
“Just you guys? Specifically? No. Fowler? Absolutely.”
"Could you at least show us how it works?" Miko offered.
With a sigh, Y/N reluctantly continued, "I… Guess it wouldn't hurt as long as you can't get your hands on the specific chemicals themselves—and as long as you don't rat me out, my permit's at stake here..."
"Our lips are sealed." Wheeljack offered, even miming a zipping motion across his mouth.
With a hum, they shuffled past Miko, and over towards Wheeljack beside the crates. And there, they began sifting through some of the bags of chemicals, each plastered with big blocks of small, black text that either detailed warnings or the bag's contents. Curiously, the two had peered over Y/N's shoulder to try and make heads or tails of what they were doing.
"I just need a little bit of this nondescript powder, and if I ignite this tiny speck right here…"
The powder gave a loud very audible pop, leaving a small, black, smoking speck on the cardboard.
"And that's how it's going to go. Except… On a much larger scale. There's about 30 pounds of this stuff all the waaaay over there, each of them in a little water gel sack capsule, spread out across the supposed entrance of the mine."
"30 pounds?" Wheeljack blinked, "doesn't seem like much, and the mine's entrance is pretty deep."
"To you it might not, but just you wait." They smirked, "Appearances can be deceiving… But the explosives aren’t meant to reach the energon in the mine, it’s just supposed to pave the way to the energon since we don't have access to any larger pieces of mining equipment."
"Oh right, you're just loosening the rubble, yeah?"
"Yeah, and then you and the rest of the team will move in to clear it out, and depending on how it looks from there, I may have to plant some more explosives."
"Ya know that some energon veins can be deep-rooted into the soil, so if this mine is as big as everybody makes it out to be, you might have to adjust how many explosives to use and deep they go."
"Ok, ok, I gotcha... Say, you wouldn't be interested in helping me with these explosives, would you?" They offer, "I could really use your expertise."
"Sure thing, don't see why not." he nodded.
"Great! Now, is everyone ready?"
"Yeah, fire in the hole!" Miko exclaimed.
Y/N nodded and with the simple click of a button, a ground-shaking boom had errupted from the quarry with a mushroom cloud sprouting into the sky to boot. Gradually, the quaking had ceased and as the cloud was barely beginning to clear, Y/N turned to the two with a haughty grin.
"Whatever you mixed up has a pretty impressive blast radius despite the quantity," Wheeljack whistled.
"Oh, the quantity has nothing to do with the explosion, it's actually the concentration of the material that affects the scale of the explosive itself." They explained. "A little goes a long way, as they say."
"I see, mind if I take a closer look? I think if I run out of explosive cores for my grenades, I bet could make something like this work…"
"Well, so long as Fowler won't be on my back for this, then no, I don't mind—it's called ANFO, it's packaged in water gel since it's soluble in water. It's not as sensitive as dynamite but—hey—please be careful!"
"Yeah, don't worry 'bout it chief… Now what's this ANFO stuff made from exactly…?“ Haphazardly, he shoved the lid off the crate, ”A bit of… What's this now?"
"I-I told you to be careful!" They screeched, "If the powder gets between your joints, the friction could cause it to ignite!”
“Right, right… Human things aren't that sturdy…”

EPAM’s Retail Media Orchestration Toolkit and Google Cloud
EPAM’s Retail Media Orchestration Toolkit for Streamlined Ad Operations
Increase retail media success more quickly with Google Cloud and EPAM.
Retail media networks are not a novel form of advertising platform that enables merchants to sell advertising space to outside companies on their digital platforms. However, they will undergo a significant transformation in the upcoming year. As consumers’ concerns about privacy grow, they want more tailored advertising advice.
For many years, EPAM and Google Cloud have been developing retail media solutions, giving you the data and insights you need to enhance buyer experiences, improve metrics, and get more thorough and granular perspectives of your consumers.
Businesses who employ AI and gen AI and make the most use of first-party data will experience a return on investment in retail media. I am excited to inform the launch of EPAM’s Retail Media Orchestration Toolkit today, which will enable retailers of all sizes, regardless of how developed their retail media operations are, to take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead in the upcoming year. The Retail Media Orchestration Toolkit gives you access to specialized, internal retail media operations that are coordinated with EPAM’s extensive retail knowledge and backed by Google and Google Cloud’s market-leading digital advertising capabilities.
You may significantly outperform your rivals and enhance your first-party data with previously unattainable information by utilizing Google Cloud’s AI and gen AI technologies and expertise.
Profits from retail media are still elusive
Even while many retailers have established retail media operations and are aware of the economic potential of first-party data, they still have difficulty seeing these initiatives through to maturity. Typical obstacles to optimizing retail media earnings consist of:
Marketers can choose from hundreds of retail media networks to host campaigns. This infrastructure cannot match the increased demand for data-driven insights. Companies want to spend their advertising resources on networks with comprehensive, data-driven insights, yet many retailers struggle to provide the in-depth information advertisers require. Few shops specialize in retail media; they sell products. The challenge is further compounded by the magnitude involved for many retailers.
Incapacity to deliver precise, quick measurements: Closed-loop campaign performance measurement, and in particular omnichannel measurement across various digital and physical consumer engagements, necessitates a degree of retail media technology, skill, and coordination that few merchants have.
The absence of resources and technology to enable data clean rooms Retail media are driven by consumer data. The success of advertising increases with the amount of detailed and thorough data. It’s critical to protect sensitive information, including comprehensive customer data, in order to uphold industry ethics, preserve consumer trust, and frequently comply with legal requirements. Data clean rooms offer a secure setting for several authorized individuals to use and exchange client data. However, many merchants lack the resources and knowledge necessary to maintain a data clean room, and the technological obstacles are substantial.
Data and workflow standardization challenges: Most retail media networks are made up of disparate independent software vendors (ISVs). They make use of their own protocols, guidelines, and reporting styles. As a result, incoming reporting data is constantly pouring in and needs to be converted to internal formats before being sent to advertisers. A lot of retailers try to deal with this by manually handling incoming data, which leads to more employees, worse performance when reporting to customers, and lower profitability for retail media.
Retail Media Orchestration Toolkit
Retailers can now deploy in-house, customized retail media solutions, just like Walmart, Tesco, Albertsons, and Kroger have done.
In collaboration with EPAM and Google Cloud, the Retail Media Orchestration Toolkit was created through Google Cloud’s Industry Value Network (IVN) project, utilizing ISV solutions like Moloco. With the help of the Toolkit, retailers may use their data to help their advertising clients and enhance their retail media operations.
EPAM’s extensive understanding of retail media operations stems from years of experience creating in-house, customized solutions powered by Google Cloud for some of the biggest retailers globally. Custom retail media solutions can be designed and implemented with Google Cloud’s comprehensive, end-to-end platform and solutions for audience capabilities, measurement, media execution, and innovation.
EPAM’s Toolkit, which is built on the cutting-edge Google Cloud Cortex Framework cloud-based data foundation, enables clients to make better use of their data, regardless of where it is stored. This includes first-party data from programs like Google Ad Manager, Google Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360, and others, making a true in-house, custom retail media solution a feasible option. The solution, which is a component of Google Cloud’s Industry Value Network, also makes use of ISV solutions to offer a complete and replicable solution via the pre-built connectors and accelerators.
Using the Retail Media Orchestration Toolkit, retailers benefit from:
An entirely owned, tailored, internal retail media system that is readily expandable when necessary
The capability of automating, standardizing, and streamlining retail media operations
Costly, prone to error human processes are replaced with fully automated ones.
Omnichannel measuring capabilities so they can show marketers the ROI and campaign effectiveness
Making better, data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance across various, heterogeneous platforms
Advice on how to use cutting-edge technology like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to create a solution that meets their present demands.
Significant, measurable advantages are already being felt by retailers who are utilizing the EPAM and Google Cloud retail media solution, such as:
Increases in retail media revenue and advertiser demand of 15% to 20%
Double the campaign’s performance
40% time savings
Costs of retail media activities are reduced by 12%.
Retail media success’s four stages
Four steps make up the design and implementation of an internal solution using the Retail Media Orchestration Toolkit:
Combine, standardize, automate, evaluate, and display transactional and multichannel campaign delivery data for multichannel measurement.
Superior omnichannel measurement Data from user-level interactions across platforms and channels should be tracked, reported, and examined.
Audiences: Using unique segmentation models that are built within your own cloud environment and syndicated to your retail media partners, create high-value predictive audiences based on your transactional data.
Utilize analytics to create and improve new revenue sources by drawing on brand and consumer data.
Regardless of their degree of retail media maturity, retailers were intended to profit from this staged approach. When you’re ready, you can take use of the insight-boosting potential of Google Cloud’s AI and ML capabilities. Your solution may be set up and installed to suit your unique requirements, yielding benefits practically instantly.
Prepare to expand your media efforts in retail
Due to its youth, very few, if any, organizations have fully matured their retail media activities. There is still room for improvement, even for large retailers who have created their own in-house retail media solutions. Some areas that usually lack technological maturity include optimizing workflows, creating complete automation of retail media operations, and making the most of emerging capabilities with AI and ML.
However, where is your organization now? How far along is your company in realizing the full potential of retail media? What actions are necessary to get to that point?
To address those questions, a maturity evaluation is used. It will only take two or three meetings with important members of your company to give us a broad overview of your retail media business. And it will use that information to create a customized action plan for you that includes:
A multi-year plan that addresses technology, procedures, and collaborations and is tailored to your company’s maturity level
A projection of retail media’s profit and loss that identifies important dependencies
A structure of investments and resources to help you expand more quickly
Simply put, your maturity assessment shows you how to get from where you are to where you want to be and shows you how to maximize the potential of retail media for your company.

yknow now that i've actually drawn Vermouth i remember that her behavior concerns me SO much. like. Gurl Do You Need Help Slash Gen.
yeah the movies aren't canon but it seems like personalities are, so the fact that in m26 the grand act it takes for Vermouth to fly all over the world to take the heat off of Haibara "PREVIOUS ENEMY WHO SHE KINDA STILL WANTS TO KILL VERY MUCH" Ai is─
─ a small, random act of kindness with no ulterior motive???????
on one hand that tracks with the Ran = Angel thing but also W O W OKAY. ALRIGHT. that's DEFINITELY a person who has a healthy relationship with the concept of kindness. actually now that im talking about the 'Angel' thing Vermouth has put Ran on S U C H a pedestal holy shit. she's Angel, she can do no wrong, she should be protected from the horrors of the world. ignoring the fact that Ran sees brutal murders all the time. ignoring that she ripped open a metal door. she should be legally classified as a deadly weapon bUT NOOOO SHE'S AN ANGEL THESE BLOOD-STAINED STAGES ARE NO PLACE FOR HER
ok yeah she saved Vermouth's life. that is not enough of an explanation for this. this isn't repaying a debt. this is one hell of an unhealthy attachment. it's also, like, immature?? i don't mean 'childish' i mean it's very black-and-white with her. it's not just "Ran is Angel so she's really kind," it's "Ran is Angel so she's perfect," with no regard for the natural complexity of People. like Vermouth doesn't really understand how someone can be kind without it being the core of their being??
to briefly play Armchair Psychologist im like 300% percent certain that she's either the Boss's child or wife and he is Not a healthy figure in her life. goddamn
#long post /#vermouth detective conan#detective conan#cackle rants#<- though less 'rants' and more 'rambles'#as a kid i hated Vermouth but now i kind of love her. she needs therapy <3
