Hi I am still working on my project but I found some time to work on other art. Made for @therese-galot The Cornflower is a personalised MS-07B-3 Gouf Custom, equipped with a magnetic coating and more potent reactor taken from a Gelgoog Jager.

Feel like showing off a little thing I did for a Discord RP thing. I traced over the Gelgoog Jager and made a few edits and colored it in to try and show what Jerard’s Gelgoog Jager Custom would look like in the RP. I liked how it came out. The dark colors are definitely neat on the more detailed Gelgoog Jager model. There’s darker designs on the Gelgoog and the Gelgoog Marine but the Wiki pictures don’t have as much line detail put into them as the Jager since it came out a few years later.

The HG MS-14Fs Gelgoog Marine Cima Garahau's Customized Mobile Suit. This kit is old and its age shows. Biggest issues are part separation, proportions, and strength in the joints.

The kit builds well and has a decent look to it, but some of the proportions seem out of whack with the rest of the mobile suits from the UC. This might be due to me never having built a Gelgoog before, as I beleive that all of the Gelgoog HG kits are just as old as this one. I have been looking to buy the MG 2.0 Gelgoog, but again my favorite forms are the Gelgoog Marine, the Gelgoog Jager, and the Gelgoog from Thunderbolt. Not the basic version from Gundam 0079.

Due to the age of the kit, there is a lot of old connection points of just a poly cap. This means that the joints, while not loose, lack strength. This becomes an issue when you try to have the MRB-110 Beam Rilfe held in the right arm. It will just flop down. The arm can support the MPP-80 90mm Machine gun very easily.

Also due to the age of the kit, the part separation is a little on the bad side. The back pack fuel tanks and smaller gun that the kit comes with were cast in pink and tan colors. So I went ahead and painted them the correct colors. The beam saber is cast as a single part and sadly is also in a softer clear yellow plastic. Painting it would be a hassle, so currently this kit lacks a close combat weapon.

Still glad I got the kit, it was part of the membership deal to USA Gundam Store. For $25 a month I can get access to certain deals and always have access to 10% off. I know you can just go get one of the sponsor codes for the same thing. The big thing that I like from this membership is the random HG or RG kit I get once a month. So far the deal has been pretty good. I have gotten several kits I would never have sat down and bought, like this one for instance.

Experimental Evaluation General Purpose Mobile Suit

A modified Gelgoog Jager designed to evaluate its performance as a fast-attack mobile suit. Testing indicates unit is effective in maintaining sustained rapid fire with wrist mounted machine guns in tandem with shield missiles. Could be improved upon with automatic beam rifle.

This is probably the most I've built in the last two months. Feels good to get something done again. Got the leg armor, backpack, and other weapons to do then it's good. The MG Hizack is pretty cool so I'll have to give it nicer poses when it's done.

Not 100% sure what I'm building next but it'll probably be something from the OYW. Wanted to participate in the previous group build in the r/Gundam discord but I just never really found the discipline to accomplish anything after building the kit itself. With the new group build up, I'm thinking of either my Gelgoog Jager or Zaku II FZ. Will definitely have to look through my backlog too, entirely possible I'm forgetting other OYW stuff I own.

Bandai Namco has released new information and screenshots of New Gundam Breaker introducing the free new playable Gunpla the game plans to add post-launch and how players can obtain them.

Get the details below.

■ Gunpla Distribution Missions

The new Gunpla that are distributed free of charge following the game’s release can be obtained by playing dedicated missions different from the standard scenario mission. These Gunpla distribution missions can be played in both “Single Mode” and “Multi Mode.” (A network connection is required to play these missions.)

Single Mode

From the scenario mission selection screen, select “Event Mission.”

Multi Mode

In the stage selection drop-down of the Create Team screen, select “Event Stage.”

*New Gunpla will be released free of charge for a limited time at fixed intervals. *Gunpla whose distribution periods have ended may still also appear randomly.

Other than the above, Gunpla parts you do not already possess can be obtained through the in-game shop and by stealing parts from others during multiplayer. (The parts that are stolen from you during battle will return to you when the battle ends, you will not lose them.)

HG MS-14JG Gelgoog Jager

Bandai have released quite a few different variant of the Gelgoog, but the Jager has a slightly different curved waist compared to the other standard design.

What attracted me to this design was that has a beam machine gun and 2 fuel tank at the back. The design is also slightly modernised and does not have the retro goofy look.

The kit itself has many large plain surfae area and lack of details…
