So, I'm not 100% sure how the seraphim are replicated, but it is through having scraped DNA samples from the war lords, as I recall. "augmented with King's Lunarian blood" (thanks Wiki). The seraphim representing warlords who already have a devil fruit also seem to have those abilities.

SO, hypothetically, if there is a seraphim of Law out there, then couldn't it grant Imu or whoever eternal youth? (I guess, at the expense of the death or destruction of the cyborg. I wonder if that is factored in). Law is a paramecia user—the only kind of devil fruit that I think that Vegapunk was able to clone.

However, if a clone has the ability to use the ope ope no mi, it seems it would be too powerful, so I don't know if we'll see a Law seraphim. Also, wouldn't the original warlords (as opposed to seraphim, so I don't mean the original 7 here) know the weakness of their own devil fruit in particular? I wonder if that also contributes to their genetic make-up.

As a flippant thought, all of the seraphim are pretty cute, but Law would look like this:

Even his 10 and 13 year old self are not that much different. So, y'know, upsetting the aesthetic there, Law! Not cute (although, I think he'd be cute), which might be why Edward Weevil won't be a seraphim (but I hope he is).

Buggy's also a paramecia user. I'm assuming that Blackbeard never made it to shichibukai status (shooting straight to emperor), despite Lafitte's tap-dancing entreaties that he be given the title Edit in: @ninhaoma-ya informs me he had a tiny stint as a shichibukai, which is what I thought, before I double guessed (gassed) myself.

In either case, I've got a feeling that there might be a batch of Blackbeard out there, and I think he'd consumed the yami yami no mi by the time Lafitte crashed the shichibukai meeting way back in the Mock Town chapters BUT it's a logia.

Also, Blackbeard had to deliver Ace to the marines somehow, right?

I'm sorry if someone's already posited this and I'm repeating the ideas. I feel as if I haven't seen it put forth. Also, I read in a post somewhere that Vegapunk said they were only able to clone 4 seraphim, but the wiki (not always the greatest source, I know), doesn't mention it, and makes a continual reference to the 7 bukai (cos shichi = 7). Or maybe I'm just reading shichibukai and substituting the 7. Anyway! Munderlings and wusings.

Remember that Kaidou killed crews specifically for the purpose of breaking interesting captains into becoming his subordinates. This means that even at his most immediately damaged, Moriah resisted and refused to do that. No matter how low he sinks, Moriah cannot be in a crew without love.

While you're analysing the Thriller Bark arc I must confess I love Moria and the hypocrite that he is.

As we know Moria got defeated so badly by Kaido that he lost his crew and chin that he decided to have a crew of just zombies so he never has to feel the pain of loss every again

But then he raises a young child for at least ten years to the point he has a spoiled daughter that is loyal to him to the point that despite at least two years of separation still tries to save him.

And then we have Moria himself being a hypocrite as he ventures into a Pirate Emperor territory just to save a crew mate. And then when he learns that Absalom is dead tries to avenge him by fighting a pirates emperor crew. So much for keeping people at arms length Moria

there are a lot of enemy groups in one piece that don't get along with one another, but the Thriller Bark crew isn't one of them--hell, later in the arc Absalom invites Hogback to his wedding. For as much as he's a lazy asshole I think part of that falls back on Moriah's leadership.

I bet he had a really fun crew to be on before Kaido rocked his shit.

I wanted to try my hand and doing a realistically proportioned design for Moria whilst still keeping him a fat old man, haha. I rather like him.

In order for modern AU Perona to have both Moria and Mihawk as her dads, without killing one off when she's a kid, I think one of them should be trans, and was the pregnant one/carrier.

They had a messy divorce so now it's time for a shared custody agreement... or they just hooked up one time at a goth club and it was shared custody from the start.
