Speaking of personally beloved games I’ve recently revisited, holy MOLY I love The Witcher 3. I’ve played it three times and every single time it’s like it’s my first time all over again. Not a single part of it bores me nor does it feel “stale” or old. I’ve actually started the books recently as well, and my oh my I had a wonderful time.

Anyways, I want to talk about something in particular. The DLC.

Oh my goodness, did they absolutely nail these DLC’s. There’s one in particular that I grew to love even more in my most recent playthrough…”Hearts of Stone”

“Why?” You may ask? Well it’s simple.

It’s Shani.

Jokes aside, it’s actually because of the villain of this DLC. His name is “Gaunter O’Dimm” but some call him Master Mirror. Though neither of those are his true name. For there’s one alias that many know him best as. True evil. He’s your classic “Wish fulfilling” villain but dialed up to fucking 11 because you never truly find out what he is. He’s TERRIFYING and equally fascinating. Easily able to perform abilities that not even some of the most talented Magic users can do. For example, he once stopped time and shoved a spoon in a man’s eye because he was interrupted. I won’t go extremely in detail because I HIGHLY recommend you either play it yourself or find a good YouTube video to watch. But man…I so love The Witcher universe💕

In the game files Gaunter has 'mirror_man_prisoner' appearance (along with mirror_man, mirror_man_wedding and mirror_man_satan), which officially was never used in the game. I think initially they supposed to use it on a ship, where Geralt was stuck after the fight with Toad Prince. Maybe Gaunter should be his neighbour from the other cell, or maybe just to appear like this. Anyway, it could confuse gamers, because he was not so recognisable as in his usual attire which we saw in White Orchard. So here you are.

"Remember me, Geralt?"

Anyway it could be official references how his hands look like without gloves and sleeves. Oh, I've read a fanfic described his body as smooth and without any hair😭 No, that's not my Gaunter😈
