Thank you! Without getting into too many grody details, I have some lovely doctors who've helped me get a drug regimen that has my symptoms way down. So while I still have Your Digestion Is Completely Fucked, Seriously Your Shit-For-Brains Intestines Can't Do Anything Right To The Point Where It Fucked Up Your Brain (the official diagnosis) it's waaaay more under control than it was a few months ago.

And thank you to everyone who messaged me support. When I say that on multiple occasions you all made me cry actual tears while curled up on the floor of the bathroom, I do mean it in a good way.

I'm back to my apartment finally eating my own food after being with my vegetarian boyfriend and his vegetarian mom who eat things that are like side dishes for me as the main food of the day and none of it had decent protein at all. I had a nice time overall but omfg I know I'm at the other end of the appetite spectrum and with my stomach issues needing a lot for me to be full and comfortable and not feel like my stomach is still painfully digesting itself but it's just not feasible for me, I had to eat for longer than anyone else just so I feel full for a while and still it doesn't last until going to bed bc it's carbs and vegetables. I don't like being like this but I need/crave/want meat often and I was managing it when my boyfriend was visiting for short periods but I don't know how it'll be in a future of us probably living together

Turns out it was not an error at the MRI facility, my insurance (which is literally the best insurance available in my area as an individual) just won't cover it* That is incredibly frustrating, both because what's the damn point of paying so much for health insurance if it doesn't cover testing, and because I get so much stuff from the insurance company about how they support preventative testing and care but when it's time to pay out they won't put their money where their mouth is. *technically they are "covering" it in that it was approved and the total cost will only be what they've negotiated with the MRI provider, but the insurance company isn't covering any of that cost. At all. None of it.
