As you can see, turtles are still in my brain rent-free.
Last song you listened to: Not counting the instrumental stuff I put on to help me write? YT music says it was Yasashi Kiss by Hitomi Shimatani, but before that, it was Adoro by the Broncos, The Guiding Key by Liz Robinett, Passing Through by Kadan Mackay, Feel it Still by Portugal. The Man, and a remixed version of I Love You Baby by Gloria Gaynor. I also listen to a lot of electro swring and stuff with a good bass beat, as well as jazz and classical.
Currently reading: nothing specific at the moment, just different fanfics, haha. My sister really wants me to start reading one of her favorite series, but I can't ever seem to dredge up the willpower to do it.
Last movie you watched: The whole way through? The Mario movie. I've seen bits and pieces of others since then whenever my mom's watching one, but not the whole thing.
I'm not counting the Rise movie since that's just a permanently open tab on my laptop now.
Craving: Frozen yogurt. Or a bacon avocado cheeseburger. Or steamed buns. Or all of them. It's been a while since I've had them, and I want some.
What are you wearing right now: Stitch pajamas when I started this, but work clothes right now since I'm at work.
How tall are you: 5'3"
Piercings: I guess my ears? Pretty sure one or both of them have closed over by now, though.
Tattoos: None. At most, I've done those fake paper ones that used to come with packs of gum, but nothing permanent. Don't really plan to, either.
Glasses? Contacts?: Both. Since middle school. Used to hate glasses, but now I love them. Only thing I don't like is the poor vision that comes with it, haha. Contacts are for work or trips to places like theme parks where I'm afraid they'll fall off on a ride or something.
Last drink: Water. If we're talking alcoholic...I don't even remember. I'm not a big drinker.
Last thing I ate: Pizza for dinner. And breakfast since I was too lazy to make anything.
I don't even know what toppings were on these but they were delicious.
Last show: TMNT, specifically, "The Real World" from the 03 series. I need my reference video.
Favorite Color: Red and purple. Green is nice too.
Current obsession: I think it's pretty obvious, lol. TMNT.
Unrelated obsession: ... I'm not sure what to put here. Fluffy things? Cute things like penguin stickers? ...Pokémon?
Any pets: 4 cats, 2 dogs, all rescues. We are very much a "You're coming home with me" family.
Crush on anyone?: No one that's real, lol, and my fictional "crushes" are said more as a joke more than anything. Am I opposed to the idea of romance and being in a relationship? Not at all, but I'm not gonna go out of my way to find one or stress out about it either. If it happens, it happens, and if not, that's cool too.
Favorite fictional characters: Now these I have a lot of. Yusuke Urameshi, Yagami Taichi, Gary Oak, Roronoa Zoro (although I love all the strawhats really), Michelangelo (though again, I love pretty much all the ninja turtles), Knuckles, Tails, Professor Layton, Donald Duck, Sora, Cloud Strife, Vincent Valentine, Zack Fair, Maes Hughes (and most of the FMAB cast), Luigi, and many more. These are just some of the first ones that come to mind, but it would take too long if I did all of them, lol.
Last place you traveled to: ...What is this traveling you speak of?
Joking aside, probably Tucson, Arizona, to visit my brother. Not counting that? Mexico, but that was ages ago.
Tagging...uh...*checks to see who actually interacts with me on here* @klonoadreams and @eldritchgray I guess?
#I started this in the morning thinking it would be quick. It was not.#But I finally finished#I'm so glad it didnt erase while I couldn't use my phone#That's happened to me before#Anyway#Now y'all know a bit more about me I guess?#It was fun :)#Bye for now!

Born To Kill COMPLETE SERIES 2005-2016
“Going back to the age-old Nature vs Nurture debate, a good way to think about it is that genetics provide an individual with a spectrum and the individual’s environment, developmental and otherwise, determines where you lie on it. A predisposition may lie dormant for eternity, but feed it a stressful environment and increased risk factors such as malnourishment and trauma, and it will manifest. Clinical facts must be tempered with ethical concerns when applying science to society.” Source

🍄- “The Autumn System” was Equinox’s idea from back when he was still around. It was mainly based off of the overall color scheme of everyone we knew in headspace at that time, plus the body’s favorite season.
👾- “CHEESE KNIFE, MOTHERFUCKERS!” -Gary, who then proceeds to yeet a butter knife with cheese on it into front in the innerworld
🎉- Don’t have any in-system holidays, but we really enjoy Halloween. Some of our peeps like to help make costumes for the littles so that they can dress up as whatever they want heh
🌙- We do have a handful of subsystems
☕️- It depends. Sometimes it’ll be like a slow gradient of one person into the other, other times it happens in a blink. And then sometimes, it takes several minutes of staring into the fucking abyss waiting for our brain to stop buffering worse than an old Windows desktop with 30 tabs open and reloading-
💫- Most of us all enjoy art or music to any extent; whether that be taking in either of them or producing either.
💾- Upwards of 170 at this rate.
👻- They do. A handful have accents, and then some have different speaking patterns. We all have pretty distinct voices though. Some sound similar to one another though, generally because they took on aspects of the body’s voice.
🎨- Abbbbsolutely yes. It’s incredibly inconsistent, but we do have several peeps in here that enjoy it.
🥀- Decently easily. It’s slowed a bit recently, but we do tend to split easily in response to stress.
🦖- Incredibly fictive-heavy.
🎵- Uhhhh a couple do, come to think of it. Numb Little Bug by Em Beihold, and then Time Passing Through by Kaden Mackay are the most prominent two though.
❓- A decent amount. It ranges from partial, to emotional, to total, and with no indication as to what it’s gonna be until we find that we can’t remember something clearly when we need to.
🎮- Varies depending on who’s doing stuff, and whether it’s in innerworld or externally. People have managed to set up an entire-ass paintball arena in-headspace though; they host matches whenever enough people want to play.
🪐- It’s nice. The areas are easily-enough navigatable. It’s sometimes difficult to get information from one point of headspace to the other, but it’s nice. It’s not overwhelming by itself, and it never feels empty.
🍐- Yes(written by someone who is in fact a non-human alter themselves lol)
🪫- Either spend time with people we’re close with, or hole up and sleep for as long as we can within ability or reason. .. Or, yknow, some of us have interests that they enjoy that aren’t draining, and then they do that-
🌧️- Varies. We’re still getting better at finding coping mechanisms that don’t result in ‘pk;m new’
🔦- Started out with a newer alter starting to chime in with his frustrations on things that were happening in life, paired with another who just wanted to get through the situations without strife or having anyone hurt in any way. … Yeahhh, that caused some inner warring of opinion, which raised several questions for the host at the time haha—
🌟- Yep! Aster’s really good at essays, and Kris is good at just scribbling down notes—which we have a tendency to overthink doing since half of us try to factor in whether or not anyone else insys will be able to understand the notes. Kris just.. does not care phf
🌊- Sort of shifts around in groups! Currently it’s me, the Yaelokre peeps we have, and then Vesper and a few others from CoD.
🎁- Me personally, no, but Val and Graves stumbled across a dog shirt in the store one day and decided that Alex would freaking love it(he did. He adopted it into headspace the same day they showed it to him)
☘️- Usually any current interest that we’re having.
💬- Recently found out there’s another void UNDERNEATH the main void level in headspace. It has henceforth been dubbed “the basement”

NHL EDITION - REPORTER'S NOTEBOOK
By: Gerry Cantlon, Howlings HARTFORD, CT - Salary cap restrictions forced The New York Rangers to be very frugal during the NHL Free Agency market. Only time will tell if they spent wisely or foolishly. It was a tornado-like free agency for the rest of the NHL, where billions of dollars were exchanged even in a tight salary cap market. There are still a few moves left to be made for the Hartford Wolf Pack for their upcoming late September training camp. The best two words to describe the coming 2023-24 Wolf Pack campaign would be "Younger" and "Change." Turner Elson is expected back for the second year of his deal, but one contract is still outstanding. The team believes that it will be signed shortly. That is the contract of Tanner Fritz. He is said to be close to signing it. He needs to secure and finalize medical care for his son. His return is, however, open-ended since it's still not signed. In September, the team saw a bevy of new players coming through the shipping and receiving doors at the XL Center. Alex Belizle (Montreal/Laval), Connor Mackay (Calgary/Arizona), Mac Holwell (Toronto AHL/NHL), and Nikolas Brouillard (San Diego) on paper will be here. It is possible that Riley Nash (Charlotte) could be headed to Hartford if he doesn't make the team in New York. Departed from Hart City are Tim Gettinger (Detroit/Grand Rapids), Ryan Carpenter (San Jose AHL/NHL), Will Lockwood (Florida/Charlotte), and Wyatt Kalynuk (St. Louis/Springfield). NOTES: The Wolf Pack has released five secured playing dates without a full schedule. There are no times or opponents named yet. The guaranteed dates are October 20th, November 25th, January 13th, February 10th, February 16th, and March 1st. A full schedule will likely be released during or following the AHL Board of Governors' (BOG) annual meeting in mid-July. The Chicago Wolves are operating as an independent team. "GM Wendell Young is free to negotiate with anybody, so I think it's likely and won't be surprised if a player or two is sent to them by an NHL team and not their AHL team. If and when that happens, there will be some bruised feelings," said a long-time industry source. Since they're out of Chicago, there is no word on where the Carolina Hurricanes will place their prospects next year. That is likely to be high on the AHL BOG agenda. One thing to keep a long-term eye on is what the Ottawa Senators, under the new ownership of Michael Andulauer, will do with the Belleville Senators. Howlings was told it's a three-step process in Ottawa. Step 1 is to secure ownership in Ottawa (Check)—step 2. Secure the land, building the new 21st-Century downtown arena, the Canadian national capital Step 3. Turn to secure a closer farm team relationship. They're looking at the possibility of Gatineau or another Western Quebec location to extend their brand. The cap future our source remains bullish on. "Many are saying a three-or-four million bump next year. I'm more conservative, we have an unknown future economically. I think two million seems more likely." The never-ending drama-fest in Arizona is likely to continue. "Gary Bettman has shown no appetite for relocation, so I think in the near future they will remain there. To be honest, there are two issues; one, the Coyotes need a better building and likely better ownership. Realistically, look, the NHL and the league ownership don't want to jeopardize future expansion fees, so they will continue to accept Arizona as is." One-time Wolf Pack and former Ranger forward Julien Gauthier has left Ottawa, where he was traded to, after starting the season in Hartford. He signed a free agent deal with the New York Islanders for a two-year, one-way money deal for $775K/ Year 1/$800K Year 2. Ex-Pack Adam Cracknell moves from Tucson to Henderson. Joining him is ex-Pack Mason Geersten on a one-way deal at $775K. Chase Priskie (Quinnipiac) moves from San Diego to Calder Cup champion Hershey Bears. Goalie Strauss Mann (Greenwich/Brunswick School) heads from San Jose (AHL) to Laval next season. Ex-Sound Tiger Cole Coskey re-signs with the Kansas City Mavericks (ECHL). Former UCONN Husky (HE) Ben Freeman signs another deal with Greenville (ECHL). The Bridgeport Islanders signed three players. Two of them are from last year, Cole Bardreau and Jeff Kubiak. The third is Joey Cipollone (Loomis Chaffe) from the national champion Quinnipiac University Bobcats, making 25 ECACHL players to have signed pro deals. Cipollone's cousin Anthony, a sophomore, returns to Quinnipiac and is also a Loomis Chaffe-Windsor grad. The number of signees by conference: Hockey East-37, NCHC-36, the CCHA-31, the Big 10 has 30, the AHA-20, Division I Independents-13, Division III-32, and Europe bound Division I and III-54. Undergrads that left early 38, going to Canadian colleges four, and back to US juniors two, and nobody has left for Canadian major junior yet. The transfers at the grad level are 44, and at undergrad, in-school transfers are 59. The total number of players signing pro deals in North America and Europe across the board are at Division I and III; 284. The son of new Rangers Head Coach Peter Laviolette, III, the namesake of Peter Jr., signs a one-year deal with the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), where his father started his coaching career in 1997. Jarrod Gourley, the former UCONN defenseman, goes from Utica/Adirondack (ECHL) and heads home to Alberta after signing with the Calgary Wranglers (AHL). Graham McPhee, the son of one-time New Haven Nighthawk/Ranger and current President of the Stanley Cup champion Vegas Golden Knights, George McPhee, signs a new deal with the Belleville Senators (AHL). Ex-Sound Tiger Mason Jobst re-signs with Rochester. The former UCONN captain, Miles Gendron, signs with the Belfast Giants (Northern Ireland-EIHL). Another former teammate, UCONN forward Carter Turnbull, signs with HC Banska Bystrica (Slovakia-SLEL). Ex-CT Whale Christian Thomas signs a new deal with HC Bolzano (Austria-IceHL). Ex-Pack Nick Merkley re-signs with Dynamo Minsk (Belarus-KHL). Martin Kaut leaves San Jose for HC Dynamo Pardubice (Czechia (Czech Republic)-CEL). As expected, Zach Fucale, the former #1 draft pick of Montreal and a Calder Cup champion Hershey Bears member, joins Vitali Kravtsov with Traktor Chelyabinsk (Russia-KHL). He makes 42 AHL players, with 23 of 32 AHL teams affected by players signing in Europe. Leon Gawanke's transfer back home to Germany was canceled as he signed a new deal with Winnipeg/Manitoba. With 22 signees, Sweden is far ahead of the countries players are heading to. The Arizona State Sun Devils have shed their independent label. Starting next season, the school has chosen to become the ninth member of the NCHC conference. Surprisingly, there weren't a part of a Western expansion, as part of a necessary Western presence that is required with the number of players in the western part of the US-the largest growth area is in Texas, Arizona, and Southern California. Clarkson announces alcohol will be sold at games on campus this fall. Now that they have broken the barrier, colleges, and beer companies will make a significant money grab for beer sales and sponsorship deals. James Shannon (Greenwich/Brunswick School) commits to Quinnipiac University. He played last year with Coquitlam (BCHL) and Sloan Farmer (Old Greenwich/Brunswick School). He uncommitted collegiately and departed for the Whitecourt Wolverines (AJHL). Jake Kloss (Canterbury Scool-New Milford) migrates to Wilkes Barre/Scranton (NCDC). Team dismantlement has even reached the high school level. The Taft (Watertown) Rhinos, the New England School champion, loses its star goalie Rudy Guimond, drafted by Detroit in the sixth round (169th overall) in last month's NHL draft. He heads to Cedar Rapids (USHL) next year, then goes to Yale (ECACHL) the following year. J.J. Lemieux goes to the Rochester Jr. Americans (NAHL). Zave Greene moves on to Wesleyan University (NESCAC) in Middletown. Joining Greene are Hayden Haynes (Old Greenwich) and Henry Metz, both of Salisbury School. Liam Kilfoil, despite a high pick in the QMJHL Draft (3rd overall by Halifax), heads to Dubuque (USHL) next year, collegiately still uncommitted. Peter Unger departs Frederick Gunn School for the Northern Cyclones (NCDC) along with 6'7" Will Reardon (Loomis Chaffe), who is a commit to the Holy Cross Crusaders (AHA) in 24-25. Then, teammates Dylan Thorn and Kyle Smyth both leave for the Grand Prairie Storm (AJHL). Former player Mike Murtagh leaves Nanaimo (BCHL) and is expected to attend UCONN (HE) in the fall. He was drafted this year by Minnesota (NAHL) and last year by Sioux City (USHL). Former Loomis Chaffe player Ryan Staple, who switched prep schools to St. George's Prep (RIPREP) last year, heads to Yale next year. Matt Hanscom departs Westminster Prep (Simsbury) for the Blackfalds Bulldogs (AJHL), coached by ex-Pack Ryan Tobler. He'll hook up at RPI (ECACHL) with current teammate Ryan Shaw 2024-25. He's very good as a SB sergeant under home pressures which reflect the case hes working on. A solid guest cast#That includes a pre UFO Drake (although she is offscreen for most of the episode) and the return of Watson as snakey Czech diplomat Biliak#And some references to the Czech political situation scattered jn the background. All these parts should add up to an above average whole#But something about this episode just doesn't gel. It's fine. It just doesn't exactly grip. Even Moxon is on autopilot barely mustering one#Magnificent eyebrow raise.#Also the relationship between Jordan and Moxon is showing the first signs of outright hostility that will iirc develop over the next few#Eps into the s. 2 finale

Roxy Music's career before the hiatus, which followed Eno's firing, was intriguing, but their return didn't feel like a search for money. Actually, I would dare to claim they reached the heights they achieved in their previous configuration. Nonetheless, Manifesto, their comeback, remains a strange beast. I agree with Tom Ewing's assertion I mentioned in some other post, i.e. the disc promised a different group we got later on, though I would say that's not a bad thing. If anything, the platter showed they kept their eclecticism. Moreover, we mustn't forget they continued to be a concert outfit to be reckoned with. I mean, pay attention to the tune from Manifesto in the live form. Yes, the reunited members lost none of their energy, they reemerged stronger.
