Hypno Handyman Inc.
So I got this idea about a week ago: what if I used some hypnosis to help my failing repair business. See, all of today's young men are afraid of getting their hands dirty, and it's been impossible to hire any of those pansies. So I thought, 'Why not hypnotize them instead?'
Tumblr media
This is Tim and Jim. They're identical twins, but I made Jim shave his head so I could tell them apart. Wait, maybe that was Tim. I don't remember, but it doesn't matter anymore! What's important is that they've been thoroughly hypnotized. Just look at the dopey grins they always have on!
These brothers were once my neighbors, back when they were influencers or something. I'm not really sure what they did for work, but now they are actually contributing members of society. I did them some good, bringing them under my control. Now they actually enjoy all the long hours and hard menial labor.
"Go ahead and tell 'em what your doing, boys!"
"Sure, boss," Tim answers brightly, "Jim and I are just grabbing some tools for a job. Mrs. Jones has a leaky pipe again."
"This is the third time this month." Jim explains with a blank smile.
I chuckle and shake my head. Mrs. Jones, the retired widow, was almost definitely just calling so she could oggle these young men as they tinker with a problem she made up. She's definitely wasting my employees' time, but I don't mind as long as she keeps paying.
"Just remember your new mantra, boys," I check.
Their bodies stiffen as they robotically relay what I taught them, "We work for you. We are your handymen. We work hard, stay humble, and always respect our client and our boss."
"That's right," I beam with pride, "Go ahead and unbutton your uniforms, boys. If Mrs. Jones wants a show, you're gonna give her one."
"Yes, boss!" they declare, smiling as they loosen their shirts before packing their tools in the truck.
They used to have a real attitude problem: thought awfully highly of themselves since they were 'TickTock famous' or whatever. Obviously, that was the first thing I corrected in their personalities. Tim and Jim are now just the perfect humble and eager-to-please workers they should be. I don't think I've seen them drop those stupid smiles in weeks!
Tumblr media
This here is Rodrigo. He used to be a model or something, which meant he had practically no skills or common sense to begin with. At least his simple mind was super easy to hypnotize. I tried programming a bunch of common knowledge about plumbing or mechanics in that head of his, but it never stuck. That's why I always have him doing the simple heavy lifting.
"What's up, Rigo! Working hard?"
"Yes, boss," he reports with a heavy breath, "I'm just hauling the fresh supplies into the garage."
"Glad, I can count on you, boy," I clap him on his shoulder, pleased to find his hard work soaking into his uniform, "It's hard work, but someone's gotta do it!"
"Yes, boss," he agrees, and turns his head to the floor as he gets back to it.
I doubt that boy ever had a hard day of work before he met me. He didn't have a shred of real muscle on him when I found him. The only thing his pretty arms could carry were a bunch of shopping bags from the mall.
He threw all that fancy attire away after I had him under trance. I think those clothes on his back are the only thing he owns now. It's not like any of my guys need something nice to wear. They're just my handymen, after all, and I intend to milk their hard-working asses for all their worth.
Tumblr media
This last guy is my newest recruit. He came crawling to me when he got fired at his last job. His name is Cameron, and he's been quite a handful. Out of all the idiots I've hypnotized so far, he's been able to resist the most.
He's still thoroughly under my control, but I can't seem to control his thoughts like I can with the other guys. That's why I have him doing all the nastiest jobs. Hopefully it'll break that strong will of his!
"Hey, Cammy," I call.
"Don't call me that!" he snaps, "I'm not your damn puppet like those other freaks!"
His words have venom in them, but his body doesn't seem to agree. His head stays bowed in a mock of submission as he diligently searches the supply closet.
"What you lookin' for, Cammy?" I ask.
"The fucking plunger! You've got me on clogged toilet duty, remember?" he growled in frustration, "How long are you going to keep me doing this?"
"There's a lot of people who aren't willing to clean their shitters," I explain, "And you'll keep doing it as long as people will pay!"
I let out a sigh as Cameron continues to get more and more frustrated. Despite his radical glare, his body can't stop searching for that plunger.
"It's in the bathroom," I finally admit, "Go ahead and kiss each of our shitters while your in their."
Cameron's face twists in disgust as his body obediently marches past me, carrying him to our company restroom. He's clearly angry beyond words for being made to degrade himself once again. One day I'll get him to see me as a respectable employer just like the rest of the guys do. It's only a matter of time.
"Hey Cammy!" I call before he leaves, "Don't forget about tonight. You remember what we discussed yesterday, right?"
Despite all his internalized rage, his eyes glaze over as my hypnotic instructions kick in, "I'm on house duty. I will cook, serve, and clean up dinner for you and the rest of the men. I will be ready to give massages and showers to you and the rest of the men. I will not let myself relax until you and the rest of the men have no need of me. I will be on house duty every night forever, until you say otherwise."
"That's right," I smile in amusement, "Carry on!"
His vacant stare melts away, and he quickly adopts his trademark glare. His hands ball into fists like he's about to fight back, but he just turns and walks down the hallway. I chuckle at the idea of him in that empty bathroom, angrily kissing each of our toilet seats.
I put aside Cameron's defiance and relish just how far my repair business has gone. Not only am I making a ton more money than when it was just me, but I also have a whole flock of guys to keep me company. Even though they are all products of a weaker generation, I am well on my way towards turning each of them into real men like myself.
Already, I have Tim, Jim, and Rodrigo sipping beers and watching football with me after work everyday. I'll tell you that none of those boys enjoyed either of those things before they met me. Eventually, I'll have them genuinely laughing at all my jokes too!
Whether or not Malcolm comes around, is honestly unimportant. As long as he keeps up the disrespect, I'll keep him in the worst jobs and the longest hours.
I'm telling you, hypnotizing your employees is the way to go! So, let me know if you need any help getting your workers under your control. Or just let me know if you need a good old-fashioned handyman to fix something for you!
My boys will do anything as long as you fork over some cash...

Psycho! Aegon x Psycho! Reader (Honey Blood)
Warnings: Modern AU, Toxic relationship, psycho behaviour of both aegon and reader, smut, blood kink, +18
Part 2: Honey Blood (Aegon's POV)
Tumblr media
Part 1: Honey blood (Y/N's pov)
He crossed the street and walked into the coffe shop.
She was there, with her doe eyes and her innocent expression. He thought she was anything but, she had been following him around and he had realized it long ago, but he enjoyed it somehow, putting on a show for her.
As he got closer to the cashier, she started to play with her hair, pulling some locks behind her ear. He wanted to touch her, pull her dark locks as he took her...
-You’re late- She said, almost a whisper.
She interrupted his thoughts.
-Never knew you were keeping taps, stalker- He said in a friendly tone.
-Sorry, i didn’t mean…- She stuttered.
-It’s alright love- He flashed a smile.
He could see he made her nervous and he loved how much she looked like a prey, ready to be devoured.
-What would you like?- She smiled.
-You tell me love.
-Chocolate with 3 sugars.
-You know me well- He smiled.
-
With a hand on his drink, he walked into the Targaryen Inc. building and went to his office on the 47th floor. The day proceeded as any other, until he received a call from his secretary. There was a girl in reception asking for his adress.
He quickly logged into the security cameras and saw her, his doe eyed prey, walking into his trap. He quickly told his secretary that he authorized his adress to be disclosed to her.
He would put on a show for her today.
He quickly unlocked his phone and called a random number, he didn't even bother to know the girl's name, a model he supposed and of course she gladly accepted to go out with the Targaryen heir.
He took the blonde girl to his place and went about it. His doe-eye girl right behind them, just as he wanted.
Aegon opened his door and he walked into his apartment as the blonde girl was kissing his neck. He made sure to open the door as much as he could so she could walk in behind them and she did, he could hear her slow steps one by one.
Then, she followed them upstairs. Aegon made sure to leave his room's door open and just as he thought she would, she walked into the walk-in-closet and kept the door slightly open. He could see he staring at him as he put on a show. He started kissing the blonde girl more roughtly, thinking of his doe-eyed prey watching him, taking off her clothes and trailing his tongue over her perk nipples, thinking of all the things he wante to do to her. And then, the blonde girl went down on him, taking him into her mouth and Aegon stared at his doe-eyed girl unabashedly, wanting so much for her to take the blonde's place, soon she would, gasping softly as he came into the blonde's mouth. As soon as he came, he told the blonde that he would call her and that he had gotten a sudden headache and needed to rest for tomorrow’s board meeting.
He escorted the blonde girl to the door as quickly as he could and then, he opened a hidden drawer on his living room and pull out a bottle of chloroform, spilling the liquid on his handkerchief.
He climbed the stairs hurriedly and opened the door of his walk-in-closet.
-Hi love- He said as the black of his eyes swallowed the blue. He had caught his prey.
-I… I…- She stuttered.
The words stuck at her tongue.
He suddenly came in and hugger her, caressing her dark long hair. And as soon as she relaxed into his touch, he quickly pressed the handkerchief over her nose.
-Shh….I know love, I know…- Aegon said softly as he caressed her cheek and her consciousness went away.
She collapsed into his arms. She was beautiful, so soft and tender, he couldnt help himself as he softly caressed her neck and her breast and her thights. Soon, he promised himself and he carried her into the trunk of his car. He took her to one of the place's he had outside the city.
-
As his car entered his garage, he quickly open the trunk and carried her bridal style to his basement.
As he was tying her to a pole, she woke up and headbutted him. He could feel the blood on his nose, but he had already caught his prey, he wouldn't let her get away, not now not ever. He quickly catched up to her and stood in front of her.
As soon as she saw him, she stood still, he pressed his hands to her shoulders and then her clavicle, feeling her pulse speeding up with each touch of his. She was staring at him, in a trance, looking at the blood falling on his lips, so he pressed his thumb to his blood and then licked his finger.
-Want a taste, love? - Aegon whispered into her mouth.
-Yes- She whispered.
Aegon kissed her as he had wanted to do since he first saw her, his blood coating her lips and her tongue. He wanted to taste her too, so he started to lick and nible at her lower lip until he draw blood. He grew hungrier and drank her in, sucking on her lips and coating her tongue in their blood. He wanted her. He pressed one of his hands to her waist as the other caressed her chest and her breast, feeling her nipples pebble as drops of their blood spilled onto her white shirt. Soon, he promised himself. Soon, he would taste all of her, take her and devour her, until all she knew was him.
He wanted to keep going, but he couldn't risk it, now he had her, he wouldn't let her go. He slowly reached for his pocket and pulled a syringe, and as he kept kissing her and tasting her, he prickled her thight. She passed out almost inmediately. He caressed her swollen wounded lips and pulled her dark locks from her face as he carried her bridal style to tie her up again. He had so many thoughts about what to do with her as she was his now.

Maximize Your Space: The Benefits And Process Of Building An ADU In Knoxville
Are you feeling squeezed for space in your home? If so, you're not alone. Many households in Knoxville face the challenge of maximizing their living areas without moving to a new property. Enter the Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU)—a versatile solution that can transform your backyard into valuable square footage. Whether you envision a cozy guest house, an office away from home, or even rental income potential, building an ADU could be just what you need. Dive into the numerous benefits and discover how easy it can be to begin your ADU construction journey right here in Knoxville! ADU Construction Knoxville
Benefits of Building an ADU in Knoxville
Building an ADU in Knoxville brings a wealth of advantages, both for homeowners and the community. One significant benefit is the added space. An ADU can provide just that if you need room for family members or guests.
Another perk is increased property value. An additional dwelling unit often enhances your home's market appeal, making it more attractive to potential buyers.
Renting out your ADU offers a steady revenue stream for those interested in generating income. This can significantly offset mortgage payments or other expenses.
Additionally, having an ADU fosters close-knit relationships with family while maintaining privacy. It's perfect for aging parents who want independence without straying too far from loved ones.
Building an ADU supports sustainable living by promoting efficient land use within neighborhoods and reducing urban sprawl in Knoxville's charming landscape.
The Process of Building an ADU in Knoxville
Building an ADU in Knoxville involves several key steps that can streamline the process. First, start with research. Understand your property's zoning regulations to ensure compliance.
Next, draft a budget. Consider costs for design, materials, and labor. Having financial clarity will help you make informed decisions throughout the project.
Once ready, engage with local architects or designers specializing in ADUs. They'll bring your vision to life while adhering to all necessary guidelines.
After finalizing designs, it's time for permits. Before breaking ground, submit your plans to the City of Knoxville for approval.
Hire a reputable contractor experienced in ADU construction. Their expertise will be invaluable as they navigate challenges during building and ensure quality artistry from start to finish.
Design and Construction Options
The design possibilities for ADU construction in Knoxville are nearly limitless. Homeowners can opt for a detached unit in the backyard or convert existing garage space into a cozy living area. Each choice has its charm and functionality.
The architectural style should complement your main home while reflecting your taste. Whether you prefer modern aesthetics with clean lines or a rustic vibe that blends seamlessly with nature, there's something for everyone.
Interior layouts, from open floor plans to traditional designs featuring separate rooms, can be customized. Space-saving solutions like lofted beds or multi-functional furniture maximize utility without sacrificing comfort.
Sustainable building materials are also gaining popularity. They align with eco-friendly values while enhancing energy efficiency. Selecting durable finishes ensures longevity and less maintenance over time—ideal for busy homeowners looking to enjoy their new space hassle-free.
Permits and Regulations in Knoxville for ADUs
Understanding local permits and regulations is crucial when considering ADU construction in Knoxville. The city has guidelines that dictate where and how these units can be built.
Zoning laws play a significant role. Some residential areas may restrict the size or type of structure allowed as an ADU. It's essential to check with the Knoxville Planning Commission for accurate zoning information relevant to your property.
Building codes also need attention. These include safety standards for plumbing, electrical work, and structural integrity. Compliance ensures your unit is not only livable but safe.
Additionally, property owners must apply for building permits before starting any construction project. This process involves submitting plans showing design compliance with established regulations.
Engaging with professionals familiar with local ordinances can help you navigate this maze effectively and save time during the approval stages of your ADU project.
Conclusion
Building an ADU in Knoxville offers numerous advantages, from increasing property value to creating additional living space for family members or rental opportunities. The process may seem daunting at first, but with the proper guidance and resources, it can be a seamless experience.
As you consider design options, think about what best suits your lifestyle. Whether you're looking for a cozy studio or a larger two-bedroom unit, plenty of choices can enhance both comfort and functionality. Understanding the local permits and regulations will also ensure that your project aligns with city guidelines while avoiding potential setbacks.
Embracing ADU construction in Knoxville maximizes your available space and contributes positively to the community by enhancing housing availability. With careful planning and execution, you can create a beautiful addition to your property that meets your needs for years. Start exploring these benefits today; the possibilities are endless!

Leak Detection Chatsworth: Holiday Hosting Prep & Plumbing Peace of Mind
The holiday season in Chatsworth is a time for festive gatherings, cozy nights by the fireplace, and welcoming loved ones into our homes. But amidst the joy and celebration, it’s important to ensure your plumbing system is ready to handle the increased demands of holiday hosting. Hidden leaks can quickly turn into major headaches, disrupting your festivities and causing costly damage. That’s where professional leak detection in Chatsworth becomes essential.
At T-Top Plumbing Company, Inc., we understand the importance of a reliable and efficient plumbing system, especially during the holidays when your home is at its busiest. With our decades of experience serving Southern California, we’re dedicated to providing homeowners and businesses with top-notch plumbing solutions, including expert leak detection in Chatsworth.
In this blog post, we’ll explore the importance of proactive leak detection, discuss the signs and causes of hidden leaks, and offer valuable tips to prevent plumbing emergencies during the holiday season.
The Holiday Plumbing Strain: Facts & Figures The holiday season often puts a significant strain on household plumbing systems. Increased water usage from extra cooking, cleaning, guests, and overnight stays can exacerbate existing plumbing issues and lead to unexpected leaks.
According to the Insurance Information Institute, water damage and freezing are among the most common causes of homeowners insurance claims, with an average claim cost exceeding $11,000. Hidden leaks, if left undetected, can contribute significantly to these damages, leading to costly repairs and disruptions.
Investing in professional leak detection in Chatsworth before the holidays can help you identify and address potential problems proactively, saving you time, money, and stress in the long run.
Signs You May Need Leak Detection Services Unexplained Increase in Water Bills: A sudden spike in your water bill, even without a noticeable change in water usage, could indicate a hidden leak.
Mold or Mildew Growth: Unexplained mold or mildew growth on walls, ceilings, or floors can be a sign of a hidden leak behind the scenes.
Musty Odors: A persistent musty odor in certain areas of your home could indicate moisture buildup due to a leak.
Cracks in Foundation or Walls: While not always caused by plumbing leaks, cracks in your foundation or walls can sometimes indicate water damage from a hidden leak.
Sound of Running Water: If you hear the sound of running water even when all faucets and appliances are turned off, it could signify a leak.
The Benefits of Professional Leak Detection Professional leak detection services utilize advanced technology and expertise to pinpoint the exact location of hidden leaks, even those deep within walls or underground. This non-invasive approach minimizes disruption to your property and allows for targeted repairs.
T-Top Plumbing Company, Inc. uses state-of-the-art leak detection equipment, including:
Acoustic Listening Devices: These devices amplify the sound of water leaks, making it easier to pinpoint their location. Thermal Imaging Cameras: These cameras detect temperature differences, helping identify leaks by highlighting areas of moisture. Video Inspection Cameras: These cameras are inserted into pipes to visually inspect for leaks, cracks, or blockages. Holiday Plumbing Tips: Beyond Leak Detection In addition to professional leak detection in Chatsworth, here are some
Proactive steps to prevent plumbing emergencies during the holidays: Avoid Overloading the Garbage Disposal: Don’t dispose of fats, oils, grease, or fibrous foods in the garbage disposal, as they can solidify and cause clogs.
Be Mindful of What Goes Down the Drain: Hair, soap scum, and food particles can accumulate and cause clogs. Use drain strainers to catch debris.
Insulate Exposed Pipes: Insulate pipes in unheated areas, such as crawl spaces or garages, to prevent them from freezing and bursting.

Norman F. Barber General Contractor Los Angeles (Photo taken by Rachel Hughes on April 14, 2024 around Downtown Los Angeles)
In 1912, Norman designed a garage and stable for Richardson, Holmes & Lamb Co., which was constructed by Barber-Bradley Const Co. I'm guessing Barber was the Barber in that company. In the same year, Barber was one of two architects for a concrete store and loft building in downtown Los Angeles for Alexander Meyer, again built by Barber-Bradley. Barber-Bradley were located at 1824 East 15th St. (Southwest Contractor and Manufacturer, Volume 10, Engineers and Architects Association of Southern California, 1912 and Engineering News, Volume 69, McGraw-Hill Publishing Company, 1913). In 1909 they were located at 212 W. 3d. (Engineering World: A Weekly Technical Journal of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, mining and Architectural Engineering and Construction, Volume 5, Engineering World Publishing Company, 1907 and Brown, Charles Carroll. Directory of American Cement Industries, Municipal Engineering, 1909). They filed for incorporation on August 1, 1906 in Los Angeles (pg. 36, Annual Report of the Secretary of State, California Secretary of State, California State Printing Office, 1908). By 1907, they were already working on some big projects, like "erecting a manufacturing plant at 2620 Lacy St." for Talbert-Whitmore Co. (Engineering World, March 29, 1907).
In the 1913 Los Angeles City Directory, Barber is listed as a draftsman who lived at 4342 S Flower (Los Angeles Directory Co., Inc., accessed via LAPL).
Tumblr media
In 1917, Barber-Bradley was "awarded the general contract ... for the erection of a brick and concrete school building at West Vernon and Olive Sts. in accordance with plans and specifications by Archt. W.C. Pennell." This year also has the only bid I see Barber-Bradley lost! They were not selected to build the "training quarters and bleachers at the new Los Angeles High School site" Some other projects from this year: remodeling the Eisner & Co. store in the Hayward Hotel building, including all work except for tile flooring and including but not limited to "plate and prism glass and marble fronts, mahogany finish and fixtures;" "repairing the fire damage to the 1-story brick warehouse on San Fernando St., opposite the Southern Pacific freight depot, for the Union Warehouse Company; "fitting up a room at 330 S. Main St. for a barber ship (sic);" erecting a brick and concrete school building on the 24th St. school site; and "alterations to Miller's Theatre at Ninth and Main Sts" such as adding a store room adjoining the lobby and a women's bathroom (Southwest Builder and Contractor, Volume 50, F. W. Dodge Company, 1917).
Tumblr media
In 1919, Norman was a 'member' of Geo. F. Barber, Sons & Co, a general contracting business located at 4342 S. Flower St. The other member was George F. Barber, which I am guessing was his father (Southwest Builder and Contractor, F.W. Dodge Company, 1919).
Barber lost a bid to build Inglewood's new city hall building to W. M. Bell (Building and Engineering News, Volume 23, Issue 1, 1923) .
Norman F. Barber was the original owner and contractor of the 2-storey single residence at 2615 N. Commonwealth Avenue (Los Feliz Improvement Association Historical Residential Survey 3rd Edition Volume IV: Streets Beginning with Cl to Cu, Los Feliz Improvement Association, 2019).
There was a Norman F. Barber who wrote "Directional recording of swell from distant storms" with Walter H. Munk, Gaylor R. Miller, and Frank E. Snodgrass, as listed in Scripps Institution of Oceanography Contributions Index Vols. 1-39, 1938-1969.
In 1938, "approximately 25 tons of asbestos per month [were] mined from the Canadian mine, located near Chrysotile, Arizona, under the direction of Norman F. Barber, lessee, Box 1010, Globe, Arizona" by four men. The property was owned by the Globe-Los Angeles Mining Company (The Mining Journal for July 15, 1938).
Norman supervised the construction "of 100 unites for Marble Manor Housing, a Public Housing Authority project in Las Vegas, Nev." (Western Construction, Volume 27, King Publications, 1952).
