Never even seen #hempcord braiding in detail before and yet I’m hit by the sudden inspiration to make them for my journal. And then got kinda addicted to the repetitive motions. Who needs a teacher when there’s YouTube? Quite like the helix design on the second photo, and will need to search a third design to complete the set. Project coming along nicely, making me happy. Just last month, I made a cheer up postcard for my art swap partner that says ‘Sprinkle Positivity’. Page in progress, day 3. I don’t usually draw out my process because I’m usually in the zone of making, but had an idea and wanted to enjoy the process and make it work. Made these #paperflowers while listening to #howshecreates podcast Ep.220. Finally managed to get rid of that paint paper that has been annoying me for the longest time and even got a few #paperbeads out of the scraps. Feels nice, to be productively arty again #mycraftdiary

Two crazy women stood under the hot noon sun with hands full of takeaway food to take photos. And everyone else was staring. But hey, how often do you get to see a rainbow halo around the sun?

2017: sad to see it go, glad to leave it behind 2018: looking forward, uncertain about the future Last #artjournal page of the year, and it’s a miracle I haven’t lost touch. Not the prettiest, but words had difficulties flowing for the longest time, which is the whole reason why I (need) art journal. This particular journal has been with me for more than two years, and I think I’m done with it, even if there can still be a couple more pages to go. Now, if only I can get around to making that new journal. I think, I’m ready for 2018.

Spent the past 2 days working on my #japan #traveljournal, and that's only to document half a day. At this rate it'll take the rest of the year to finish this up 😵 But first, here's Day 3 part 2 featuring #kiyomizudera and #gion in #kyoto as I celebrate a job well done and a working video setup \o/

Made a bunch of paper flowers, because evidently, I'm too free. But at least I managed to used up random pieces of scraps that were lying around for years, and had fun in the process. #jennibelliesartparty

Squeezing in a little bit of craft before I leave house - don't mind the rough paper I used to test stamping. Just need to cut off the extra border and it's done! #stampcarving

Completed another page of #amytangerinehandbook and looking back at the past ones I have finished. Really enjoying filling these up when I have nothing particular in mind to do. Current favourite is the latest one I finished (right) because there's so little white space which also spanned a long time as well (8 months!!). Need to work more on my patterns though
