Still so glad that Nickelodeon finally severed ties with Dan Schneider back in 2018, due to misconduct allegations.
The weird fucker used to put pictures of his actress' feet (all of whom were underage at the time) on his Twitter profile, was accused of gender discrimination and verbally abusing his colleagues, and asked for massages from the adult female ones.
Jennette McCurdy famously turned down a $300k "hush money" offer from Nickelodeon to not discuss her time spent at the network, and it's known among fans that her mom forced her into acting and that she was deeply unhappy being in the role of Sam in iCarly in the first place.
I have just reminded myself that both matt and josh were on game shakers prior to hsmtmts
and what I vaguely remember that josh's character dressed like a lifeguard in his episode, and now the caswen aus of ricky as a life guard are coming to me right now. someone please help me
not my usual stuff but like, i was watching a video about the show game shakers from nickelodean.
for the game shakers fans out there, you probably exist, i'm sorry but this is NOT about canon.
the plot could've been changed to make it much more interesting. like if you wanna keep the kids, you wanna keep the way they're developing the game still,,, after it's "already out". i've fixed the problem!
these two kids, who no one is originally aware are kids, make a kickstarter scam. they've seen it all over youtube and they think "well, what's there to lose?" turns out when they gets hundreds of thousands of dollars coming in for a game that hasn't actually been made even a little, and the creators know absolutely nothing about making games, and are also 13 year olds, a lot is on the line.
now these kids, they stay semi anonymous on the internet no one sees their faces, but they're now pressured and under a time constraint to actually make the game. they get doxxed and all eyes turn to them, they have to pretend to be prodigies in game design but in reality they're middle schoolers who've just scammed a half million people.
