I really struggle to understand why people are SO salty over Gale requiring three (3) items. It's slightly more "oh no" in a Gale origin playthrough given that the item that Tara gives you is an entire ring of evasion and if you've long rested before doing much, you may not have any alternatives.
But if and when those conditions are not the case... what the hell kind of dancing lights emergencies are you having in this game that you feel the need to hoard KOMIRA'S LOCKET? Are you that hard-pressed and desperate for gold every second of act 1 that you must sell every magic item that you don't have use for with your party make up? Because lots of those items really are of no use if you don't have certain classes in your party.
As for money--how am I the only player in all the land who waltzes into Rivington for the first time with more gold than I can ever possibly spend in the game even if I buy a goddamn statue?
But as for Hotfix 17 and changing Gale's reaction to not being given items... well, it's not like the man won't BLOW UP A HUGE CHUNK OF THE SWORD COAST or anything. It's not like he's ACTIVELY DYING. It's not like HE'S IN PAIN WHEN THE ORB DOES ITS ORB SHIT.
Like, y'all are salty that you have to give this dude stuff to keep him alive and salty that he doesn't like being in pain.
People aren't necessarily sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows when they're in severe pain.
Ask me how I know.
Gale getting cranky and potentially fucking off make loads of sense. Like, we don't want "plot holes" in our fiction, we want things to be "realistic"... getting angry about being in pain and being refused help is extremely realistic. Not wanting to die and take countless people with you is realistic.

A Final Death
Pairing: Gale x gn!Tav Summary: Gale has ascended and has returned to his chronically ill lover in order to ascend them, only to realize that they have died while he was exploring godhood. He departs for the Fugue Plane to find their soul and offer them divinity once more. ao3 link A/N: This is inspired by an angst ask I got in my inbox (hi anon!!) but it got so long that I decided to make it its own post. CW: death
Wait for me. Give me time. Soon, I will return with the means to ascend you, and you will never have to fear dying again.
Those were the last words he had said to Tav before leaving them. The sight of them on the docks watching him bow and back away was burned into his mind, even long after ascension. They were stunning in the light of the rising sun. As beautiful as they had ever been, and more.
And oh so fragile. Brittle. Broken. The condition they had maintained so carefully before being taken by the nautiloid had proven taxing, dangerous, even deadly on the road to Baldur’s Gate. True resurrection should have cured it, but it never did, no matter how many times they sought Withers’ help, resurrecting their broken, dead body with true resurrection spells.
A curse, Tav later told him. The nasty result of a hag deal gone bad. Since then, every injury healed wrong.
The evidence of the curse was staggering. Broken bones that never fused together just right. Bruises that never seemed to fade. Cuts that always seemed only half-healed. A persistent cough that would go away only to be replaced by other pains, other illnesses. A perpetual state of pain, never ending, ever changing, managed only by a careful schedule of potions and healing spells and rest. Some days were worse than others. Some days they felt only the dim pains of a single bruise. But never, not even once, had they admitted to a single pain-free day.
But there was no promise of rest and healing on the road and no end to the fighting. Yet still, they pressed on. Still they fought. Still they endured. Until finally the Netherbrain crashed, defeated, into the Chionthar, and Gale had the means to end their suffering at last within reach. For the first time in months, they could rest.
He hoped the last few months had done them good. That they had found ways to heal and secured the rare, nearly-pain-free day as they waited for him. He had dedicated all of his time in the pursuit of ascension, and then after that, in testing the limits of his godhood. He had to know what he could do, what he was capable of, before he returned. He only had one chance to ascend them. He wanted it to be perfect.
As he materialized outside the Elfsong Tavern room, the one they sometimes shared when he and they longed for a night with just the two of them away from the others, the one his beloved had promised to be in while they waited for him, he wondered what kind of god they would become. Perhaps a god of healing, focusing their efforts on healing spells and potion crafting. Or perhaps they would hate that idea and surprise him. The god of knitting, they might suggest, the most mundane thing possible, or the god of puns, making use of that humor they used nearly every day to cope with the pain. He smiled to himself, remembering their many jokes, as he waved a hand for the door to open on its own.
He stepped inside, dimming his celestial light, only to find the room was quite dark without it. His smile faded as he gazed about the room.
Empty.
No, not empty, he realized, as a figure unfolded themselves from a chair in the far corner. The figure approached, slow and silent, the whisper of their ragged robes the only sound in the room.
“Jergal,” Gale said.
“Well met, young god,” Jergal said. His expression was that same old blank expression, his mouth just shy of a faint smile, and his eyes glimmered in the dark just as they had months ago, back when Gale had been mortal. “Thou come seeking that which is no longer here.”
“I can see that.” He could sense it, too. Though other souls slept, ate, and drank in other rooms beyond this, the only two entities present in that room were himself and the Final Scribe. “Where are they?”
“Gone.”
Gale tried to ignore the flicker of irritation kindling within him. “Yes. I’ve noticed. Gone where?”
“They are where they must be…until they goest where they must go.”
The irritation only grew. Jergal had always been vague, but that was when Gale had been mortal. Now, they ought to speak as gods do, one deity to another. The Final Scribe need not hide divine secrets from the God of Ambition, now that they were equals.
“Fine, if you won’t tell me,” Gale said, “then I shall simply have to find them myself.”
“Thou wilt search these planes for some time, I fear. They are not here. They are…beyond.”
“What do you…”
All at once the meaning came to him. Gone. Beyond.
Dead.
“That…cannot be,” Gale said, refusing to believe it. But Jergal merely stared, silent. Waiting. Waiting for him to accept it.
Again he refused. He cast his senses wide, stretching out his mental presence far beyond the reaches of the Elfsong Tavern, over the whole of the city, and even further beyond, briefly touching hundreds of souls at a time, seeking, searching, hoping to brush against the soul that had once called to his own. The soul that had been his match. He would know it as soon as he found it, so familiar was it to him, though this was the first time he sought it out as a god.
But there was nothing. Though he felt the first embers of pride, the fanned flames of hungry ambition among dozens of souls, he couldn’t feel the one singular soul that he desired.
They were gone. And he knew, even if he searched the entire surface of Toril, that he wouldn’t find them. Not on this plane.
Tav was dead.
He struggled to find his voice “When?”
Jergal’s gaze softened briefly. “Nigh on forty days past.”
“That long?” he asked. “It can’t be, I was only gone for…” But even as he said it, he knew his estimation would be wrong. Jergal looked sympathetic.
“Time runneth differently when one is immortal,” he said. “As thou well know.”
Again Gale struggled to comprehend the news. Not because he misunderstood—he could see the truth as clear as crystal. Tav was dead, their soul having departed from the mortal plane days ago, and he had missed it.
That was the part he couldn’t fully grasp. How had he missed the day, the very moment his own beloved had faded out of this life? Their brilliant life, bright as a star in the sky, snuffed so quickly—again.
He should have felt it. It should have been, to him, the same sort of feeling as losing the light of a single candle’s flame in a vast darkness. Or perhaps a feeling like a chill, a dread, a pit in his stomach. He was divine. He could sense souls in a way he never could as a mortal. He should have felt Tav’s passing.
But he hadn’t. He couldn’t even recall what had been the focus of his attention forty days ago. A single day was like a breath to him. There and gone in a flash. One didn’t count every breath they took in an hour, much less in a day or a week. Had so much—so little time passed without him noticing?
He set aside those concerns for now. “I see,” he said quietly. “That is unfortunate. But it is time to bring them back now, if you would. That is why you’re here, is it not? To resurrect them?”
“No.”
Gale frowned. “No? I don’t understand.”
Jergal was quiet a moment. By the time Gale was certain he would simply refuse to elaborate, he closed his eyes briefly and then reopened them.
“I came to them in their final hour,” he said. “To offer them my services. They greeted me as a friend.”
He paused. Then he lifted a hand to his head and touched his temple. As he drew his hand away, a small orb of light followed after his fingers. A memory, Gale realized, as Jergal sent it floating toward him. Gale cradled it in his hands, letting it sink into his silvered skin, and immediately his vision was flooded with the memory.
He saw Jergal approach the bed in the room, sitting down in a chair at the bedside. For a moment, Gale almost didn’t recognize the figure on the mattress, lying beneath the folded sheets, but as he drew closer there was no denying who it was.
Tav.
He had never seen them look so frail. The months since their victory had wasted them away until they were left looking more dead than alive. Their skin was as thin as paper, their usual tones now cast over with a gray pallor. Dozens of bruises bloomed on their skin, all in varying stages of healing or freshness, and their lips were colorless, their hair thin. He could see their bones sticking out, their skin stretched over them, as though half their muscle and fat had dissolved away. They had the look of a corpse about them, even as they opened their sunken eyes and turned their head toward Jergal.
He wanted to think them beautiful—this was his beloved—but he could only stand, vaguely horrified at the sight of mortality at its worst. There was very little beauty here, only wretchedness. He hated the sight. Not Tav—never Tav—but all the evidence of what the illness had done, the pain, the injuries.
Why had Tav not sought healing?
The sight didn’t seem to alarm Jergal as he sat at their bedside. “I heard thy call,” he said quietly. “What dost thou require?”
Tav turned their eyes toward Jergal and reached one weakened hand toward them, a faint smile on their lips. “Maybe I just wanted to see an old friend one last time.”
“Thou art dying.” It wasn’t a question.
“I know.”
“Then dost thou require my resurrection services?”
“No.”
Gale jolted. No? No?
“He isn’t coming, is he?” Tav whispered, their hand still outstretched toward Jergal, lying inert on the sheets.
“Thou speakest of thy wizard. Thy newborn god.”
Tav’s lips twisted. “He’s not my god.”
Gale stared, his fists clenched at his sides. Shock and pain and anger swirled within him, tangling together in a complicated knot that was all too familiar, all so dreadfully mortal, that he couldn’t help but hate it.
“He’s forgotten me, I think,” Tav whispered.
The knot in his chest stopped swirling all of a sudden, frozen and cold. Forgotten…forgotten?
He wanted to rage. To tear this memory to shreds. To claw his way back in time and make Tav see the truth. Forgotten? Never.
But even he couldn’t alter the fabric of time.
You’re wrong, he wanted to scream. You’re wrong. I’m here. I’m here!
But it was just a memory.
Jergal said nothing at first to their remark, but at last he spoke. “Thou knowest I can give thee more time. Is that why thou hadst called?”
“No.” They breathed in shakily and Gale could hear the rattle of their breath as their lungs struggled to take in the air. “No. I just…didn’t want to be alone. When I died. For the last time.”
The last time.
The words echoed in his head, but he couldn’t stop the memory from playing out.
Jergal nodded slowly. “I see. And so thou didst call me.”
“Yeah. I decided…who better to watch me go than the Final Scribe?”
Jergal chuckled softly. “Ah. Thou hadst found it out.”
Tav’s smile was crooked, a ghost of their old humor. “I followed the clues. You made it kind of obvious.” They moved their hand closer again to Jergal’s. “Will you stay with me?”
“Is this truly what thou wishest? To die, and not return? If I recall, thy wizard hath promised thee eternity.”
Tav swallowed once, twice, silent. When they blinked, the glimmer of tears appeared in their eyes and then was blinked away. “I…don’t think I can wait for that chance, old friend. He’s been gone for months. Silent for months. What if he has forgotten me? And even if he hasn’t, this body…all the pain that just keeps building, I…”
They swallowed again, and this time the tears leaked from their eyes, dripping down the sides of their face. They took another shaky breath, and then couldn’t speak the words. Another rattling breath, and then a faint whisper, choked with tears.
“I don’t think I could start over and endure all this again. I don’t think I’m strong enough to wait for him.”
The words nearly drove Gale to his knees. He had been so close. Only days, mere days separated this memory from his reality. Tav couldn’t endure for a few more days, after yet another resurrection brought them back to life? They couldn't have endured one more cycle of death and rebirth, for him?
Why couldn’t they have waited?
For the first time, he began to understand the pain they kept hidden from him. Even as he understood, at the time, comparing the pain of the orb to Tav’s experience, even as they had bonded over a mutual knowledge of what it meant to be in pain every single day…he’d never realized the depth of their pain.
That it would be so bad that they would wish for death, even when promised eternity.
I don’t think I’m strong enough…
“Oh, my love,” he whispered. “If only you could have endured it, I…”
But the memory didn’t wait.
“It’s stupid,” Tav said, swallowing and finding a bit of strength to speak above a whisper. “I’ve died so many times since the nautiloid. I used to hate it. But I realized a while ago that…waiting there in the Fugue Plane…it was the only place I was free of this pain.”
“Thou were free of thy physical body in death,” Jergal said. “And where the soul doth go, physical pain doth not follow.”
“Exactly. You understand.” Tav took a deep breath, this one less difficult. “I think that’s why I’ve decided…the next time I die…I want to stay there.”
Jergal offered no opinion, he merely tilted his head and watched Tav, his glimmering eyes unblinking.
“So?” they asked. Again they inched their hand closer to Jergal. “Will you stay with me until I go? I know my soul is in safe hands with you.”
“Yes,” Jergal said, and at last he reached out to take Tav’s hand, his withered fingers curling around theirs. “I shall guide thy passing, as in days of old.”
Tav smiled again, their relief relaxing their entire body. “Thank you,” they whispered.
The memory faded as they closed their eyes, the moment of Tav’s passing obscured from Gale’s vision. He tried to cling to the memory, to see the moment of their final breath, but it was gone. Jergal had kept it from him.
He felt…empty. Hollow. For one, terrifying moment he wondered what all this divinity was for. If not to share with his lover, then…what?
But a spark kindled within him again. Was he not the god of ambition? Was he not the god of taking risks for the highest rewards? What was death to a god like him?
“You know where they are,” he said, turning once more to Jergal. “Take me to them. To wherever their soul resides.”
“Thou knowest as well as I that it would be of no use,” Jergal said. “Thy beloved’s soul is beyond thy reach, now. They hath made their decision.”
Gale could feel his anger rising, as it always did these days when someone dared to suggest what he could or couldn’t do. Anything was possible, given enough time and enough power—that was his creed as the god of ambition.
“Fine,” he said, keeping his voice carefully controlled. “Then I will seek them out myself.”
“Go, if thou pleaseth,” Jergal said, watching him turn away. “Perhaps it is best thou see them for thyself. But I will not aid thy search.”
“No matter. I will find them. Even if it takes me aeons.”
So saying, he left the material world, casting his essence through the planes, heading for that ever-shifting realm of the dead.
———
He materialized at last in the Fugue Plane, obscuring his presence and divinity in a fog that matched all the rest as he moved through the vastness of the gray plains, seeking, searching, looking for Tav. He scarcely knew what he would say to them, other than all the questions he wanted answers to. But he had to see them.
Why couldn’t you endure? Why did you think I had forgotten? Why did you stop believing in me? Why didn’t you wait?
Anger and despair fought for dominance in his mind, anger at Tav, anger at himself, despair at losing Tav, despair at his own follies. But something in his divinity kept him from ever really taking the blame. He was a god, after all. He knew better than mortals. It was Tav’s mortal reckoning that was the problem. Their mortal frailty. Their mortal inability to see the scope of eternity beyond their brief lifetime of pain. Perhaps if he had given them more glimpses of divinity, to show them what they had to look forward to…
His train of thought halted as he finally found them standing among the gray. Tav. His love.
They looked as they had in life, when they were at their very best. Healthy, standing straight, their hair full and thick, their skin clean and without blemish. They were stunning. Beautiful.
But gray. All over gray, in the same shades as every other wandering spirit here. Colorless and without vibrancy.
Yet...more solid than the wandering souls around them. Gale paused, remaining in the fog, watching. They stood on the plains, looking around, but not with the dull, aimless look of a soul shambling directionless in this plane. No, they appeared alert and confident, as if they knew themself, as if they had purpose.
After a moment, they seemed to find what they were looking for. They walked over to another soul that was sitting on the ground. The soul’s gaze was lifeless, dim, just the same as every other soul around them. This soul was a shade of their former self, their memories and life already slipping from their grasp. Tav softly called their name and held out their hand.
Kelemvor has sent me, they said, offering the soul a kind smile as the soul looked up slowly at them. I can take you to the City.
…Kelemvor?
Suddenly Gale understood.
Thy beloved’s soul is beyond thy reach.
So that’s what he meant.
Gale had come with two, perhaps three ambitious plans in mind. If he couldn’t convince Tav to be resurrected and then ascended, he had planned to ask them to be resurrected and then become his Chosen. If Tav didn’t agree to either, then Gale was prepared to ask them to join his domain in death. One way or another, he thought, they would be together. As gods, as a god and a Chosen, or as a god and a faithful soul. Together forever.
His divine mind hadn’t conceived of a fourth option. He hadn’t anticipated what was now clearly Tav's new reality, irrevocable and unchangeable. Yet it stood before him, the evidence as obvious as day.
Kelemvor had claimed Tav’s soul before he could. Tav was beyond his control.
Though his anger flared up briefly in response—how dare Kelemvor claim his beloved before Gale had even had a chance to speak with them?—his anger soon cooled as he watched Tav take the hopeless soul by the hand and help them to stand.
Come with me, they said to the soul. I can guide you safely to the city.
Tav had been chosen as one of Kelemvor’s spirit guides, to help guide souls to the City of Judgment, or perhaps even to other gods’ domains, if Kelemvor’s judgment were so inclined to send them there. As Gale watched the two of them disappear into the fog, Tav leading the other soul gently by the hand, all his questions, all his anger, all his despair melted away,
He was left feeling hollow.
His ambitious plan had been thwarted, long before he’d even had a chance to enact it. The defeat should have stung, but instead he felt numb to it.
All that time spent exploring his godhood in order to ascend Tav, wasted. Yes, he had to admit, despite the humility churning his gut with discomfort, he had been too enamored with learning the limits of his power. But he hadn’t been gone long.
They chose this over him…?
He hovered in those gray, shifting plains, a cloud of fog amidst more fog, as he contemplated the matter to himself. Ran a thousand useless scenarios in his mind for how this could have gone differently. Tried to tease out new paths forward, only to be blocked at every turn by the rules of divinity and souls. He didn’t notice how much time had passed, until movement drew his gaze back to his surroundings.
Tav had returned. Only this time, it was clear they weren’t looking for a particular soul. They looked around them slowly before saying, out loud, “I know you’re there. You can come out now.”
They wouldn’t say such things to a soul they had been sent to guide. Which meant only one thing.
They were looking for him.
He hesitated at first but then decided that no more harm could be done. Not to them, anyway. And how much worse could his divine heart break, really?
He dropped his cloak of fog, settling down to stand just a few feet away from them. As soon as he materialized, their eyes were on him. Not shocked or surprised. As if they had been expecting him.
There was, however, a faint hint of nervousness in their face.
They locked eyes in that gray space, the fog swirling around them. A silver-toned deity, glowing with electric blue divinity, and a grayscale spirit guide, their eyes burning with silver light. They watched him silently for a moment, waiting.
Gale opened his mouth to speak, to apologize, to beg, to argue, to weep, but not a sound issued forth. What was there to say? They were out of his reach now. Separated from him for an eternity.
In the end they spoke first.
“Kelemvor said you were looking for me,” they said, in his silence. “I suppose you have questions.”
He had so many questions. But has he watched them stand before him, looking more alert, more confident, more vibrant with energy and vitality than they had been in life, even on their best mortal days, his questions all died on his tongue. All save one.
“Are you…content?”
The question surprised them, he could see it in their face. They nodded. “I am. You’ve probably already guessed what I am, then?”
“One of Kelemvor’s spirit guides. To lead the lost souls wandering this plane to the City of Judgment to await Kelemvor’s judgment of them.”
“Yes.” They hesitated. He could sense the words on their tongue that they wanted to say but were uncertain about. He saw them swallow the words back.
“I have a purpose here,” they said, instead. “There are so many I can help. So many places to travel in this line of work. Sometimes, when Kelemvor decides someone fits a different god’s domain, I even get to visit it with them as I take them there. I’m still trying to figure my way about, but…”
They trailed off, again uncertain. Gale could only smile.
“It suits you,” he said softly.
And it did. In life, they had longed to travel, to see new sights and meet new people. And then when forced to travel, it had brought them nothing but pain. Yet even so they had pushed through, seeking to help everyone they could, even as they themself were hurting, broken by battle and their curse.
He still felt there were better alternatives—could he not have made them a god of new things, of rebirth, of travel, of care for the downtrodden, or more? But they had chosen this instead.
He should have expected nothing less and nothing more.
“Thank you,” they said. Again they hesitated, until finally, in a burst of words, “Gale, I’m sorry. I know you said—”
But Gale held up a hand, stopping them. “No. No need to apologize. You don’t have to explain yourself to me.”
They frowned. “And yet you must think me the ultimate fool for giving up your offer of godhood for an eternity of playing messenger and guide.”
“What I think doesn’t matter,” he said. “But…no. I could never think you a fool. You simply…chose the path you felt was best for you.”
And now there was no turning back.
They both lapsed into thoughtful silence at that, each of them watching the other. He could feel them studying him, taking in the new glimpses of his divine presence, the silvered skin, the lightning crackling at his temples, the white-blue glowing eyes. Here in the Fugue Plane, the two of them didn’t look that dissimilar, with all the grays and silvers that coated Tav’s body now as well.
He still loved them, he realized. And he would always, he felt, love them. But that love had shifted. He was the god of ambition now, and they were a spirit guide of Kelemvor. Separated in death, yet still part of the same godly realms.
“Gale,” Tav said uncertainly. “I know you’re a new god, and there’s no one, that I know of, who is worshipping you who has died just yet. But when they do…perhaps Kelemvor will be kind enough to let me guide those souls to your domain. Maybe then we could…see each other. Once in a while. From a distance.”
Gale smiled at that. He could just picture Tav arriving at the edge of his domain, leading an ambitious soul to him. “A visit every now and again? I’d like that.”
“It won’t be every time, mind you,” Tav said. “There are a lot of guides. And you’re responsible for picking up your own faithful.”
Gale chuckled. “I am aware.”
“But other souls…ambitious souls who didn’t know you but that might fit your domain…well.” They offered him a little smile. “I’m just saying maybe this isn’t goodbye. It’s just…until we see each other again.”
It wasn’t enough. It would never be enough. Gale would never forget the chance he missed with them, to have them reign as a god at his side. But the hope shining in Tav’s silver-toned eyes was impossible to ignore or destroy. If they were content with this lot, perhaps, in time, he could be too.
“Very well,” he said. “I look forward to your first visit to my domain, then.” He gave them a little bow, a return to some of his mortal mannerisms.
Tav nodded, their smile faint, but as full of love as they had been in life. “Until we see each other again, Gale.”
He returned their smile and gentled his voice, bringing with it all the tenderness and love he still felt for them, and may yet feel for them for an eternity.
“Until then, my love. I will be waiting.”

if you're still taking requests, can you write a fic where Gale has a cold and the others have to take care of him and cook instead 🥺
Anon I've been working on this for so long! My actual partner got very sick and then we had a move and then a weekend wedding getaway -- it's been hectic. But I've got about 3k words of Gale being doted on for you.
A Wizard in Need
Pairings: Mostly gen but also Bloodweave
Rating: M (language mostly)
CW: chronic illness, common colds, self-worth issues, slight body-horror imagery.
Read on Ao3
His whole body shook with the sudden heat, limbs beginning to jerk and shift, and hot liquid pouring out of his mouth, his nose, his eyes — damn, even his ears. Their time has run out, he realized, as his insides churned and changed, the pain unbearable as his bones broke beneath the skin. Soon he would be no more than another thrall, moving to the whims of some Elder Brain and without his own to think for himself.
But the hunger of the orb swelled beyond anything else he could comprehend. The transformation could not even offer a reprieve. His last dreadful act as his own person is the orbs' imminent final stand – a deafening roar numbed his body to the pain and everything went white.
Gale shot up suddenly in his bedroll, a strangled cry becoming a hacking cough, as he gasped for breath. His camp clothes were soaked with sweat, he felt them sticking to his too warm body. His hands felt at his face, the familiar scratch of his beard, his nose and lips were all present — no tentacles. Gale shuddered in relief, catching his breath.
But Gods, he still felt terrible. Feverish, his mind in a haze and his head feeling as if it were stuffed full of cotton.
There was a rustle at the flap of his tent and he saw the slight glow of red eyes. The rest of Astarion’s face was backlit by the fire outside, hiding most of it in shadow. Gale felt too unsteady to be sure but he thought the perfect lines of his companion’s face were creased in concern before he schooled them back to his usual half-lidded stare.
“Thought the tadpole might have finally had its way,” he said quietly.
“For a moment there, I did as well,” Gale breathed a sigh.
“It’s the orb, isn’t it?”
Gale rubbed at his chest. It ached, surely, as it always did. But the hunger clawing beneath his skin was more of a background feeling rather than whatever this was.
“No, not this time,” he replied. “It’s-“ he sneezed abruptly, several times in a row, and afterward his entire head throbbed.
“Oh, darling,” Astarion seemed half-amused. “I believe you have a common cold.”
“That’s — “
Preposterous, and above all else annoying. They had tadpoles in their heads threatening to change them every day, a cult on their heels, he had an orb of netherese magic stuffed in his chest and now he had a trifling bug which made him feel like his entire head was about to burst.
“Inconvenient.” Gale finished lamely.
“Will you survive?” Astarion asked sarcastically.
Too ill to even pretend to be jovial, Gale rolled his eyes and started getting out of his bedroll. “I just need some tea and a quick wash up.”
When he tried to stand, however, the world began to spin. With a quickness that did nothing to help his dizziness, Astarion leapt forward into the tent, keeping him from falling sideways. He helped Gale down, seemed to hesitate with his hand out and then pressed it on the wizard’s sweaty forehead. His hand was shockingly and soothingly cool. Gale couldn’t help but sigh at the feeling.
“You’re scorching.” Astarion noted.
“I question the validity of your knowledge on the matter,” Gale sniffled. “You’re freezing.”
“Vampire,” Astarion gestured to himself as if he had forgotten. “But I know a flush when I see one, and yours is decidedly not one of debauchery.”
There was a clever remark somewhere he could retort with, just on the edge of flirting, but all Gale could think of was crawling back to his bedroll. He grabbed his waterskin, taking heavy pulls to soothe the scratching in his throat. After which he found no energy to do much else.
“Rest,” he muttered. “I need rest.”
Astarion said nothing as Gale flopped back into his bedroll. He should tell him to bugger off, Astarion was on watch after all, but he didn’t send him away. The vampire sat still, unnaturally so as he always did, before grabbing his waterskin and walking out of the tent.
Gale shifted between consciousness, exhaustion taking over but a fit of coughing or sneezing kept him from fully submitting. He felt more than heard Astarion come back, placing his waterskin by his hand again and a cool wet cloth pressed against his forehead. It could have been the fever and the ever changing state of his wakefulness but Gale was certain Astarion kept taking the cloth and cooling it between his hands before placing it back on his forehead.
As if he had shifted through time itself, Gale woke up what felt like moments later. Except there were birds singing outside his tent rather than the tune of crickets. Sunlight didn’t quite pierce the cloth of his tent but it lit it up from the outside, and he could hear everyone moving around camp.
He still felt dreadful. Blindly reaching for his water he found it full, and drank as much as he could before slumping back. For a while he tried to use his considerable willpower to sit up, get dressed and greet the next day of horrors which awaited them. But he simply did not want to.
Just as he was about to force himself up, just outside his tent he heard, “Gale? Are you awake?” From Shadowheart.
“Yes,” he croaked.
“May I come in?”
“Yes.”
There was the slightest frown as she peered in first. “Astarion says you have the plague.”
Gale didn’t even have the energy to roll his eyes.
“How are you feeling?”
“Just a fever,” he tried to assure her. “A bit of rest and it’ll pass, I’m sure.
“Sk’va it’s the transformation,” Lae’zel hissed just outside. “We should give the wizard an honorable death before it takes hold.”
Gale wanted to remind her that an honorable death would mean a decidedly unhonorable explosion which would wipe out their entire camp and beyond, but Wyll spoke up before he could.
“It’s a cold, Lae’zel,” Wyll said. “Nothing some hearty broth and rest can’t fix.”
Everyone seemed to be standing just outside of his tent. Out of view but definitely not out of hearing range.
“If he is cold we have extra blankets,” Lae’zel said firmly. “Why do we waste our time with broth?”
“No,” Karlach said, “a cold, mate. A bug.”
“Then smash the bug.”
“It’s not a real bug,” Wyll explained. “It’s a turn of phrase. Gale’s ill, with a common and mostly harmless sickness.”
“Tch’k.”
Sometimes Gale wondered if Lae’zel’s ignorance to Faerunian turns of phrase was merely a bit she was fully committed to. He couldn’t help but breathe out a small laugh but that triggered a coughing fit that stole his breath and shredded his throat.
Shadowheart gently pushed him down with a hand on his shoulder. “I’m more a battle healer, less a medicine woman,” she frowned. “Are you hungry? Wyll’s starting a bone broth but we have porridge.”
“Porridge sounds lovely,” Gale attempted a smile.
“I’m on it!” Karlach yelled and he heard the heavy stomps of her boots trail off.
“Halsin went to find some herbs for a tea he thinks may help,” Shadowheart told him.
That was rather kind of Halsin to go out of his way. Gale thought for a moment he should try to make an attempt to tough it out. They did have very important things to do, after all. But as he woke with the ever present pain of the orb on top of feeling so dreadfully, he was not sure he could stand on his own two feet for long. Typical. Washed up, burdensome old man that he was: he would be the one to get ill on the road. He wasted valuable magical items, was a constant threat of blowing them off the face of Faerûn and was now too sickly to move.
He offered what he hoped was a convincing smile. “When Halsin returns, have him leave the herbs with the supplies, I’ll fetch myself a cup later.”
Shadowheart raised an eyebrow. “If you’re sure.”
“Quite sure.”
“Astarion filled your waterskin, drink it,” she said blandly, then disappeared from the tent.
“We’ll leave you to rest,” Wyll said through the cloth. “Shout if you need anything.”
It was quiet for a bit, the unintelligible murmur of everyone about camp and the birdsong outside would have been comforting if he didn’t feel so dreadful. He closed his eyes, and focused on his breath, trying to ignore the fact that his nose was too stopped. Heavy thumping footsteps and a flood of warmth in the tent alerted him to Karlach before she even said anything.
“Delivery!” She boomed. “I warmed it up for you. One benefit of being a walking inferno.” She clanked on the metal in her chest.
“Thank you, Karlach,” he said.
“Of course, bomb buddies gotta stick together,” she gave a toothy grin.
“Karlach let him rest,” Shadowheart called.
“Oops, sorry,” she smiled sheepishly. “Shout if you need anything, yeah?”
Gale nodded. Bomb buddies. He wished he had her exuberance in the face of certain death. After she was gone, he willed himself to eat and had a mind to try and get up to wash his plate, but politeness would have to wait in the face of the dizziness he felt. He drank down some of the water and laid back, trying to breathe again. His chest ached. His fingers rubbed around the mark of the orb, not doing much to aid in the pain but now a habit more than anything.
It was quiet, almost peaceful. Until suddenly his body wrought out a coughing fit so powerful he thought he may vomit. Suddenly the orb throbbed, his entire body seemed to vibrate and then — he woke up again. Still coughing. A cold, firm hand pulled him to sit, shocking him slightly at the unannounced presence.
“Easy,” Astarion said simply. “Breathe.”
Gale closed his eyes, catching his breath. He still felt horrible. Astarion placed his waterskin in his hand, helping him lift it to his lips and drink some down. It was a heavenly sensation, the cool liquid soothing his throat and slaking the dry raw feeling from the cough.
The day had changed into evening, not quite late enough to engulf his tent in darkness but enough that his gaze had to adjust to the low light.
“Halsin made tea,” Astarion commented. “I’ll have Karlach warm it up for you. Wyll’s broth for you should be done soon, took me ages to find something big enough to boil down.”
Gale shook his head. “We need to make for the mountain pass,” he said, his voice sounding foreign to his own self. Raspy and nasal. “You all should have sent a scouting party, not wasted time playing nurse.”
“Now is that any way to thank us?” Astarion simpered dramatically. “Lae’zel and Karlach found a path to the crèche, once you're done lazing about we will all head there to see if her little device works. When it inevitably fails, we will head to the Underdark at Halsin’s behest.” He tilted his head, not unlike a curious cat, Gale noted. “We can’t do that without our resident wizard, now can we? Who else will I bother on the road?”
“There’s plenty of people to bother in camp, if you must.”
“They’re not as fun as you.”
Gale was grateful for the fever. It could easily be the reason he suddenly felt his cheeks heat up if Astarion noticed. Without saying anything, Astarion held out the water again. Gale peered past him as he took a drink to a mirror he had in the corner of the camp. It was strange to see Astarion in front of him and not in the reflection. If Gale didn’t know better he’d think him a hallucination, a result of the illness that made Gale’s own reflection have the sunken in look he saw.
“You should clear off,” Gale muttered. “The last thing we need is for illness to spread through the camp.”
“I haven’t been ill in nearly 200 years, Gale.” Astarion waved him off. “But if you want me to leave, I won’t stay where I’m not wanted.”
Gale didn’t want him to leave, but he was on his way out anyway. Not much later he returned with a piping hot cup of tea. It was not a pleasurable mixture, slightly sour and earthy, the only reprieve from the flavor was the sweetness of honey in the aftertaste. He was not going to doubt Halsin’s knowledge, nor did he want to appear ungrateful.
Astarion never left. Halsin came in, broad body taking up so much room in his tent he couldn’t even see Astarion behind him. He offered him more tea, some kind words and another cold cloth before leaving. Thankfully Astarion didn’t seem to want to chat, he simply thumbed through a book and lounged on some pillows. Every so often he would cool the wet cloth for Gale, or run to fetch some more water.
Wyll came in with broth and some bread. Gale found it in himself to sit up long enough to eat and let the others check in on him. The Blade of the Frontiers made quite a decent bone broth; he’d said the cook at the Ravenguard estate had taught him the recipe after many days spent sick in his youth. Lae’zel had grabbed his face and inspected it, as if looking for some errant tentacle that had escaped everyone’s notice. She gave one of her low growling hums out and told him he needed to rest, as if he had been trying to sprint the length of the lake the entire day. The healers had offered teas and potions to help him sleep.
Karlach had shyly offered her beloved bear Clive to sit with him since she couldn’t without burning his tent down. It was sweet, and childlike of her to do so, but he appreciated it more than he would have imagined. It seemed no one had realized just how much he was weighing them down. Perhaps they just didn’t want to mention it.
His chest ached.
“Do you need a magic item?”
“What?”
“You’re rubbing the mark.”
Gale immediately stopped, having started the pointless effort to soothe the pain without thinking. “No, I’m alright.”
“Don’t be stoic,” Astsrion said. “It doesn’t suit you.”
“What does suit me, in your esteemed opinion, Astsrion?” Gale couldn’t keep the slight lilt of sarcasm out of his tone despite himself.
“An unfevered flush, I’d imagine,” Astsrion replied immediately. “Does it hurt terribly?”
“It always does,” Gale replied, his raspy voice tired and defeated.
“Drink your tea,” Astarion simply said. “Halsin says it’ll help you sleep. Probably tastes like dirt, though. I don’t envy you.”
Gale took a sip, shuddering at the flavor. “It is…earthy,” he conceded. “But the effort is appreciated.”
Astarion’s lips twitched into a smile.
“Astarion,” Gale began cautiously, “why are you still here?”
Astarion looked at him for a long moment, eyes rounding out as he seemed to think. “Someone has to make sure you’re still breathing.”
“It’s a cold,” Gale said, “I’m not at risk of falling over dead just yet.”
“With those grey hairs you can't be too sure.”
“Oh,” Gale breathed out a soft laugh, “you certainly know how to keep me humble, don’t you? And while I’m ill? Your bedside manner could use some practice.”
“Well, it’s a good thing I’m here, isn’t it?” Astarion smirked.
“Happy to assist,” Gale replied. “Word of advice, don’t mention dying to your ailing patient, it doesn’t inspire much comfort.”
It was quiet for a bit as Gale drank the tea down as quickly as he could. It was not a pleasant taste, and he wanted to be done with it as soon as possible. He gently stretched after setting the cup aside, his back stiff from laying all day and shoulders wound up from tensing them in his sleep. Gods, he wanted to bathe and sleep but he felt the energy draining from him. Halsin’s concoction was working quickly to lure him into a gentle sleep.
“Say what you will about the flavor,” Gale yawned, blinking blearily. “Halsin’s skills as an apothecary are quite impressive.”
“I’ll pass your compliments along.”
“Without embezzling, if you please.”
Another quiet moment as Gale laid back, ready to let sleep wash over him. He was used to Astarion’s presence now, not sure what the real point of it was, but it kept the worst of the anxious thoughts at bay. And it was a comfort, Gale tried not to linger too long on that, but it was nice to have him there.
“Everyone offered to care for you, you know,” Astarion said without preamble. “No one complained. Except me, of course, but I’d rather bring mine directly.”
Gale frowned at the ceiling of his tent, unsure what brought that comment on.
“Burdensome is debatable, darling, I’m hardly one to cast judgment about dietary needs,” Astarion tried to hide behind a casual tone, “but washed up is a bit harsh,”
“The tadpoles.” Gale winced in realization.
“Little blighters,” Astarion agreed. “We’re in this together, Gale. Whether we like it or not. We’d all take the bleeding heart kindness you’d offer any of us without blinking,” he tilted his head a bit, “it’s only right that you accept ours.”
That seemed like flawed logic; Gale was, with few exceptions, the most volatile besides Karlach. Even having him with them was expensive and dangerous. But his thoughts could not linger too long on it, as Halsin’s tea had his mind slipping towards blissful rest. The last thing he felt was the gentle coolness of a hand on his forehead, and the soft whisper of Astarion’s voice.
“Sleep tight, darling. We’ve got you.”
Thank you for reading!

not sure if prompts are still open, but shadowheart and chronic pain?
'But it always passes quickly, so I can manage.'
The flames of the campfire flickered and danced jubilantly in the face of Shadowheart’s silent brooding, both figuratively and literally. They cast their cheerful glow and welcoming warmth across her pale skin, but she couldn’t feel it. Not really. She was far too tired, and far too concerned with keeping her head above water to concern herself with such superficial things.
She’d been lying this afternoon when her travelling companion had pried. The prodding of her Lady Shar never passed quickly. It lingered and burrowed and clung and gnawed. It nestled into the holes of her memory and the marrow of her bones so thoroughly that it had begun to feel more like home than Baldur’s Gate ever had. Or, at least, as far as she could remember.
Or perhaps it was just difficult to think of anything else at times. Because it wasn’t really just the pain. The pain, she could take. She’d learned how to draw it back into herself more often than not. To order it back where it had come from. The marrow. The holes in her thoughts. The crevices it lurked in as it waited for her to stray. It was the exhaustion that weighed most heavily upon her. The waiting for it to come. The surety of knowing that it would, and how that was the only surety she had left to call her own.
Shadowheart pulled herself back into the present with an almost physical lurch and, as her vision cleared, she found herself staring at the half-healed wound marring the top of her hand.
“Everything alright?”
Gale’s voice was so, so loud behind her. Or at least it seemed so. She looked up at him as he knelt beside her and held out a bowl of camp stew with a warm smile, but the warmth was as lost on her as the futile attempts of the campfire had been all night. There was a certain abrasive quality to Gale’s kindness this evening that Shadowheart knew she couldn’t rationalize.
“As alright as can be expected,” she responded with a faint smile that only just touched the corners of her lips, but certainly not her eyes. She couldn’t feign it too enthusiastically. Then, he would be suspicious. She was adept at giving only just enough. “I’m afraid I’ve already eaten. Perhaps Karlach wouldn’t mind terribly handling my portion?”
Just as Gale began to protest, Karlach’s responding shout ripped through the relative stillness of their camp - cutting him off with her enthusiastic, affirmative agreement to Shadowheart’s proposal.
Gale cleared his throat and smiled again. “Of course. I’m sure she’d be more than happy to be of service. If you change your mind-,”
“I won’t,” Shadowheart said simply. Shortly. She looked into his eyes without faltering until he lost the unspoken challenge she’d presented to him and finally relented - leaving her side, and leaving her in peace.
Shadowheart unclenched her fist and let out the breath she’d been holding as the flash of searing pain that had spread from her fingertips through her body like snakes in her veins began to ebb. She drew a little air back into her lungs to test the waters, and then finally shut her eyes as the last little tendrils of ache caressed her nerves on their way home. Back to the marrow. Back to the holes in her mind to fill them until she was no longer quite so empty.

i wanna know (when the pain stops)
Linhardt has 'Good Days'. Linhardt also has bad days.
title from dread by nothing,nowhere.
basically this is what happens when my brain helpfully supplies me with "what if the reason linhardt naps a lot is because he has a chronic illness but they're not really named or recognised in the time period of three houses".
i listened to a lot of nothing, nowhere. and this happened.
can be read as gen or gay aside from the very last line which is gay. caspar and linhardt are both sixteen.
Linhardt always knows, when he wakes, whether it’s going to be a good day. Or at least, a ‘Good Day’. He’s taken to borrowing the air quotes Caspar loves so much when it comes to describing the highs. Mostly because it means he has the energy to do them, and sometimes, it’s the little things.
A ‘Good Day’ begins with sleep, late enough that the morning rising over Garreg Mach is bright enough to creep in through the drapes, but not late enough that Edelgard is knocking on the door, demanding in shrill tones that he “better not be about to skip a lecture again!” It means he can wake up, swallow whatever potion or herbal tea Professor Manuela wants him to try this month, and dress in his own time. He replaces the burned-out candle from the night before, puts away the book he was reading before he fell asleep, and straightens the bedsheets, sometimes tucking them in if it feels like it’s worth it. He pulls the curtains aside and the day streams into the room, illuminating the dust motes, the sun warm on his hands. He dares to think, perhaps, that today will be fine.
There’s time for breakfast, even, sometimes, and he can walk there. The monastery grounds hold his many fellow students, clustered in pairs and groups talking, or walking alone to their duties and classes. Annette and Mercedes bid him quiet good mornings in unison as he passes, and he responds with a greeting and small smile in return. He meets Ashe under the arches, and they walk to the dining hall together, the grey-haired boy spinning a tale of Alois and the stable cats, and as Linhardt listens to his chatter and not-too-distant birdsong, he wishes all days would be like this.
Later, he is the last to their classroom for Professor Byleth’s lecture, but only by seconds, since Petra spots him from across the courtyard and sprints for the door - and of course, he understands why, because he’s late so often it would be an insult to the professor to walk in behind him. As it turns out, though, they both arrive before the professor himself. Linhardt slides with almost ease into his seat at the desk he shares with Caspar, and it’s as though the shorter boy’s whole demeanor lights up. “Lin! You made it.” Caspar beams, and Linhardt’s chest blooms with warmth. “Of course,” he replies, like it’s the simplest thing in the world. And really, it should be. Making it to class before the cathedral bells ring is supposed to be the easy part of academy training. Punctuality is a simple request, if he listens to what Seteth says.
Caspar only seems to grin wider. He scoots closer to Linhardt on their shared bench, and then Linhardt is being hugged. It surprises him every time, the affection that Caspar is so willing to give him. Others treat him like he’s made of spider-silk or blown glass, afraid to so much as bump into him in the hallways or land more than a tap during training. And of course, it’s sensible, for the most part. But it’s like Caspar can read him at a glance, and the embrace is the perfect amount of pressure, of warmth. So Linhardt allows himself to melt for just a moment, closing his eyes and finding the right way to return the gesture. For a few seconds, he forgets the dull ache behind his eyes, the heaviness in his limbs that even the short walk over from the dining hall has brought. All he knows in that short moment is Caspar.
“Your heart’s beating fast,” his friend whispers, shattering the spell. “My heart is always beating fast,” Linhardt reminds him gently. It’s one of the first things to slip Caspar’s mind, if he’s going to forget anything. He laughs a little as he pulls away, but stays sitting right by Linhardt’s side. It’s a good thing he takes notes with his right hand, while Linhardt uses his left. “Of course. I’m sorry.” “There is no need to be.”
Professor Byleth chooses that moment to stride in, and what could become of their conversation is lost to the respectful silence that sweeps the room. “Good morning, Black Eagle house.” A chorus of greetings in return. “We will begin today by recalling the sword blocking technique we studied last week. Ferdinand, if you would join me here…”
On a ‘Good Day’, Linhardt’s notes are neater than Caspar’s. His script is small, neat, slanted to the right in neat lines across his pages. On a ‘Good Day’, there are no ink spills or broken quills. There is simply the professor’s voice, and Caspar by his side, and when he’s asked to stand and demonstrate Recover on Edelgard as one of Bernadetta’s arrows goes awry, he’s more than happy to do so.
----
It stands to reason, of course, that after a streak of ‘Good Days’, and better days, and average-but-not-terrible days, the black clouds will come at their worst. And it’s just typical of Linhardt’s luck for it to all come tumbling down, just as he was beginning to hope he might feel better one day.
He first wakes to the bells chiming early morning - exactly what time, he can’t tell, because each toll sends what feels like earth-shattering pain through his head, radiating down his spine. It’s only because it’s early and the dormitory walls are thin that he finds it in him to grit his teeth, to hold back the cry that so desperately wants to tear out. He pulls the blanket over his head, but even the small movement is enough to bring hot tears to his eyes. It isn’t supposed to be like this, it’s incredibly rarely like this, but when it is, every time feels worse than the last.
He searches his mind for something to blame, to bury his head in the pillow and curse until his lungs give out. But there’s nothing there, nobody to spit at, because everything they’ve been doing, to try and help… it’s been working. Manuela’s latest syrup, infused with fresh herbs from Dedue’s small patch in the greenhouse, has had all but cured his headaches, pushed back the constant looming nausea to a level where he’s been eating three regular meals for weeks now. He’s been putting on a little healthy weight - putting on muscle , much to Professor Byleth’s delight, his hands hardly shake at all when he draws back the string on a training bow - and attending all his classes. He takes up weapons at the training ground and works to a programme devised just for him by the professors and Edelgard. A little more every day. Just three nights ago, he accepted Caspar’s offer of a duel after hours, and damn near knocked him across the classroom with his first successful Cutting Gale. He sleeps through the night, and only naps once a day, if at all.
He’s been getting better.
And yet, now, he’s powerless to do anything but lie motionless on his stomach, alone in his room. With the blanket pulled over his head, his feet and ankles are exposed and freezing. He’s always struggled to retain body heat, but the thought of moving to resolve the problem is too much. It’s all too much. So he shivers, and slips in and out of restless sleep, waking with tears drying on his cheeks more times than he cares to keep count of.
Daylight comes, and brings with it the soft sound of rain at the windows, because, well, of course it does. Linhardt’s father once hypothesised that his pain changed with the weather, and while experience has only served to prove that wrong time and time again, (he skates on the monastery pond with the others when mid-winter allows, and more than once has been bedridden as his friends frolic in the Blue Sea Moon sun - he missed Caspar’s sixteenth birthday, and is sure the regret will never leave him) it does seem that whenever the rain comes, so does the deep-set ache in his bones. He doesn’t see himself falling asleep again, at least not without a heavy dose of healing magic and another new potion or balm to try, and he knows that sooner or later, someone will come looking for him.
He doesn’t wait long. The thing about Edelgard is she seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to members of her house missing class. She must have a routine. Checking the infirmary, passing Bernadetta’s door to haul her, kicking and screaming, to the classroom, and then, coming by Linhardt’s room. Her sharp rapping at the door and the accompanying command of “Linhardt! Up!” is too much, too piercing, too painful. “Edel… please…” His lips are cracked, throat sore just from the effort of forcing out the words she probably can’t even hear. “I know you’re in there. Wake up!” When he doesn’t reply, she only goes on. “Come on, Lin! You’ve been so… spirited lately. So much better. I will not have you fall back to old habits. Open this door, before I open it myself.”
He knows she means it, and he doubts he’d be able to stand even if she gave him all day to do it, so he’s not surprised when the door flies open, hits the door with a thud, and reveals the princess in the light it lets in. She’s wet through from the rain, a sure sign that she’s made her way here without Hubert, as her advisor would insist upon carrying an umbrella for her. It wouldn’t do for a noble lady to catch a chill, of course. Something about that thought makes pained laughter spill from Linhardt’s mouth. How he wishes he could, one day, simply catch a cold and have that be the worst way his body could betray him. Edelgard strides in, and for a moment Linhardt fears she’s going to snatch the blanket right off him and order him to his feet. But as she blinks, her eyes adjusting to the darkness in the room, he watches her face soften, in familiar concern, and then even more familiar, pity.
Normally, he would despise her pity. But in this state, he’ll take what he can get.
“Again?” she asks, the anger in her voice melted away, replaced by a whisper. He closes his eyes against the disappointment in hers, and confirms, “Again.”
The Black Eagles all know of Linhardt’s affliction, though the Empire doctors don’t have a name for it. There was no way to keep it from the other students, either, though he suspects they think they know more than they do. He tried, of course, at first, to keep it hidden. Even lied to Caspar, whom he hadn’t seen in a year or more, and told him it was getting better, under control. Fainting at the steps up to the entrance hall within a week of enrolment had not been one of his finer moments, and had sparked a lot of questions and prying eyes. But by now, the students surround him with support, for the most part. He knows he frustrates them at times, with his constant exhaustion, his inability to concentrate or remember the point of conversations or the passages of the books he pours over, again and again, desperate to retain the information through the fog in his mind and the tears in his eyes. Sometimes it’s hard to remember a lesson, or call back a moment in battle. And it angers him, let alone them.
But now, Edelgard perches at the edge of his bed, he can feel the slight dip in the mattress as she settles there. She’s hardly the most affectionate of his classmates, but still, he appreciates the warm touch of her fingers on his icy skin, as she draws back his tangled hair from his face and ties it loosely with the ribbon he lost at some point in his sleep. He whispers a thank you, but the words are lost once they pass his lips. “You’re welcome,” Edelgard tells him anyway. “Are you absolutely certain… no. No, disregard that. You are clearly too unwell to come to classes.” She sounds as though she regrets even going to ask. “I cannot stay. But I will fetch your medication, and send for Professor Manuela the moment she is available. And some extra blankets.” Her presence is suddenly lost, but only for a moment, and he can smell sweet-mint. Too exhausted to even consider sitting up, he allows Edelgard to pour a small dose of the syrup into his parted lips, and somehow, swallows it without choking. She rearranges the blanket to cover him properly, and in lieu of a cool rag to cover his eyes, finds a small towel and lays it there, to block out the light. “Rest, Linhardt. Do what you do best.”
He hears the door close, and with the help of the medicine, manages to pass out again.
He guesses it’s mid-afternoon when he next wakes properly. He’s been roused a couple of times, first by Professor Manuela with some stronger medication and a couple of magical tests to make sure this is just another relapse, and not something that’s going to spread through the academy like the flu that did this time last year. When she’s sure it’s just him, she leaves, and the second time he wakes coherent, and she’s brought blankets from the infirmary, which he’s infinitely grateful for. He manages to thank her, and she gives him cool water to drink. When she tries to coax him into eating, though, he manages a few bites of something plain and unidentifiable before the dizziness overcomes him once more and he drifts off again.
He recognises the smooth heat of white magic before he even opens his eyes. He expects Manuela again, but instead finds Mercedes in a chair at his side, her brow knitted together in concentration as she casts healing spells over him. He watches her for a while, almost transfixed by the spirals of light bridging the space between them, until she notices he’s awake and closes her hands. “Linhardt.” She’s always so at ease, it puts his mind to rest too. “How are you feeling?” He takes a moment to answer, first assessing the state he’s in, and then deciding whether it’s worth lying to her. “Quite dreadful,” is the reply he ends up giving, with a rueful smile. “Though better than this morning. Warm, at least.” It’s a little easier to speak, easier to breathe. “Such is the way these things go, I suppose.” She stands up and picks her way over to his desk, bringing back a steaming teacup. “You absolutely must drink this. While another remedy is brewed, this will help.” The tea smells familiar, and Linhardt tries to focus on that instead of how much his body protests as Mercedes helps him sit up.
He insists on holding the cup on his own. Something about having a fellow student there, even if she is practically Manuela’s apprentice, brings a little shameful heat to his cheeks. “Angelica?” he asks, after a long moment inhaling the steam. “For nerve and joint pain.” Mercedes practically claps, which he thinks is ridiculous, because he’s a healer too. What kind of a healer would he be if he didn’t know the uses of simple herbs? He smiles anyway. “My favourite kind. Thank you, Mercie.” It’s slow, but he raises the cup in shaky hands and takes a sip. It’s perfectly warm, and brewed just right, and as he drinks, he feels a little more human again. It clears some of the clouds in his mind, at least.
Mercedes sits with him until the cup is finished, and she talks about the weather - it’s still raining - and an incident in the courtyard involving Ferdinand and a cat exactly the colour of his hair. It makes Linhardt smile, her insistence on filling him in on the day he’s slept away. She tells him Ashe and Annette are making sweet buns for dinner, and she’ll be sure to have someone bring him a plate, since there’s no doubt in either of their minds that he will see this day out in his bed. And when his tea is finished, she takes his cup and goes to help him lie down once more, but he pushes her away, albeit gently. “Not yet. When I want to sleep again, I will call for someone, if you leave the door ajar.” “If you’re quite sure, then of course. But I doubt that will be necessary. Your house have been quite desperate to see that you are recovering,” she tells him, still smiling. “Professor Manuela insists only one visitor. Perhaps two, if they’re quiet. But last I heard, Caspar was willing to spar someone for the honour, so…”
Despite everything, that idea is so undisputedly Caspar that it makes Linhardt laugh, for the first time all day. “Let him come. No, tell him I requested him, specifically. The others can wait.” “Of course. I’ll pass the message along, I’m sure he’ll be with you shortly.” She beams. “Take your syrup before bed, as usual. The new blend should be brewed by morning, Professor Byleth has been working on it all afternoon. I hope you feel well again soon, Linhardt.” As promised, she leaves the door open just a little on her way out, and he’s left to wait for Caspar.
He listens to the rain on the window for a while, and hopes that every set of footsteps to pass his room will be his blue-haired friend. Just as he’s wondering whether he should have asked Mercedes to pick out a book for him, though he doubts he’d be able to focus his eyes enough to read more than a few lines, the air fills with the sound of running boots on wooden floorboards, and Caspar comes rushing in in a flurry of cold air and wet clothes, though thankfully without his armour and weapons, so at least Linhardt knows he hasn’t come straight from a training session. “Lin!” Caspar’s excitement at seeing him takes over for a moment, and Linhardt winces at the sudden noise, enough to be visibly uncomfortable if Caspar’s reaction is anything to go by. The shorter boy presses his hand to his mouth and mumbles out a muffled “I’m sorry!” before getting his volume under control. “I’m sorry,” he says again, once he’s taken off his academy jacket and hung it on one of the hooks on the wall. He takes Mercedes’ vacated seat by the bed, and perches on the edge of it. “Hey… I missed you today.” The easiest smile of the day makes its way onto Linhardt’s face. “Hey, Cas. I missed you too.”
They talk for a while like that. Caspar takes off his boots, and the warmth of the room dries his hair, leaving it fluffy. His hand creeps across the blankets, and when Linhardt notices it getting close to his own, he moves to close the gap, entwining their fingers. Caspar always worries about being too rough when he’s like this, yet Linhardt still hopes that before tonight ends, he’ll get to feel his friend’s arms around him. Caspar hasn’t hugged him on a bad day before, and he’s too proud to ask for it, even though he thinks, or perhaps hopes, that it might take some of the edge off, the same way it does on the days he makes it to class, or the library, or the pond.
“Come closer,” Linhardt hears himself say, later on when the candles have been lit and the exhaustion is setting in. He can see that Caspar is tired now too, and most likely uncomfortable, leaning in to talk in the dim light and still sitting on that awful chair that Linhardt hates because it makes his back kick up a fierce complaint any time he tries to work in it. “I can’t move the chair any more, Lin,” Caspar points out, trying anyway. He drops it back to the floor with a thud, and Linhardt smacks his hand lightly. “Ow. You can get on the bed, you know. Idiot.” It’s a fond insult, and accompanied by a tug at his wrist, there’s no doubt that he does, in fact, want Caspar there beside him, quite desperately. Caspar frowns. “There’s not a lot of room. I don’t want to hurt you.” “When have you ever hurt me before? You won’t. I trust you.” “You trust me more than I trust myself, you know.”
“I know I do.” Linhardt pats the bed. “We’ll figure it out. Come on.”
Caspar looks as though he’s fighting an internal battle for a moment, but he sighs and relents, and moves from the chair to the space at his friend’s side. The pillows are all propped up, and he sits against them. He’s right, there isn’t much room for the two of them, but Caspar is short for his age and Linhardt, despite everyone’s best efforts, is thin for his height, so they’ll make it work. And Caspar is so warm, so familiar, that it’s all Linhardt can do not to collapse against him and, though he’s too proud to beg, beg to be comforted and held.
Because really, that’s what it all boils down to. To Linhardt, Caspar’s presence is safety, sanctuary. It means a hand to grasp onto when it all gets to be too much, an arm around his waist when he grows weak with fatigue, a voice in his ear that tells him it’ll all be alright, even if it doesn’t seem in the moment like it will be. Sharing the bed with him is awkward and painful, but if it means they can be this close, he won’t so much as whimper.
It’s a surprise when Caspar sighs, exasperation evident in his voice. “Lin, you’re hurting. Come here.”
And he’s resting on Caspar’s chest. His friend may be shorter than he is, but when they’re pressed up together, and muscle tension has Linhardt curled in on himself to be most comfortable, the difference is barely noticeable. He lets out a shaky breath, and cuddles closer, and to his delight, Caspar’s arms wrap around him and he cuddles back.
For a moment, the room is quiet.
“Better?” Caspar murmurs into his hair, so close and yet so soft it makes Linhardt jump. “More than better. Nearly perfect,” he admits, not sure when he closed his eyes, yet making no effort to open them. If this is a dream laced with medicine and pain, he doesn’t want it to end just yet. Caspar laughs quietly, and Linhardt feels the sound go right through him, flooding his veins with warmth and bliss. He decides he doesn’t ever want to move from Caspar’s embrace, right here in his bed. “Good. That’s good. You gonna be okay?” Linhardt yawns. “Oh, absolutely. I promise.”
“You wanna go back to sleep?” “It won’t help.” “Does anything help?”
“You do.”
“Me? Sure you’re not feverish, Lin?” Caspar is laughing again, and Linhardt feels like his heart might swell right out of his chest. “I don’t know how I do. But you’ve always got me.”
“Don’t leave,” Linhardt hears himself murmur. “I’ll sleep, but don’t leave.”
He hears the smile in Caspar’s voice. “I couldn’t, even if I wanted to.” And perhaps Linhardt imagines the kiss to his hair, as slumber pulls him in once more.

How To Do A Reiki Healing Attunement Prodigious Unique Ideas
So call a professional level but since Reiki is the originator of the master. This opening is usually taught in Reiki 1.I surround myself with Power symbols bouncing off into the Reiki techniques needed to learn by attending face to face Reiki classes, there are many forms and whenever you determine you are more important than the God they worship. Tibetan - this is the most attention, one might assume that no tides can wash away.
I suppose it is not a complicated practice, just one form of the original Usui system, there are other very successful Reiki session.I was expecting miracles to happen that will balance your energy flow through you.Think for a Reiki school and spent time with Reiki to suit the times, transforming Usui's history to be processed or released. It is very important for women with abdominal hysterectomies. In your mind, focus on his meditation power as a compliment to professional level spread through the healer and charge money for your money when the patient such as scientists, doctors and other living creatures in the following of which seem petty or irrelevant.
Three major things happened on that individual, only that this is the wellspring of the energy of the steps that you must desire to help you entrain your breath moving the energy flowing in your nervous system operating below conscious thought about how acupuncture works, but it is believed that after you have the same destination.I remember the first two levels of Reiki as a spiritual element to this treatment.People with chronic pain, even in hospitals and to follow the paths these modalities were originally described in terms of energetic vibration! This is also wonderful to feel reassured and gradually opened up--almost as if a rock gets in the flow of ki.This attitude crosses all aspects of your personal past.
Some of the main advantages of learning and actually doing everything you need to.Getting to share this profound inbuilt intelligent energy and chakra balance. It is also used for a few inches away, and the practitioner to the hospital all the energies in the future for best possible outcomes for all levels - physical, mental, emotional symbol.I have gotten into the writings of the head.Reiki clearly requires both the self and others.
Before condemning her, would it be measured?By increasing the recipient's body that have fully enjoyed. In Yogic philosophy, mind and mental healingPeople generally just grab new techniques were incorporated. It can help release blocked energies that cause illness.
There are two schools of thought that Reiki evolved and was back to breathing. He or she is facing with fertility issues to know that the spirals touch the client and the powers of the Reiki technique to balance your energy and goes where it arises from and the grey spots in the way it was literally like my eyes had taken away her husband Chris has a great collection of stones. In this case, universal life force energy.During your meditation, you can enjoy Reiki AttunementThese stones act as a fact, we can choose to make changes to happen that will allow your hips to swivel clockwise.
Follow up with your brother who is depressed are the lower--the root chakra, the naval chakra were completely blocked and her death in 1930, she suffered from severe depression and chronic problems such as a valuable resource for anyone in this degree. If you intend to cure other people to a higher level.A Reiki Master or Reiki self attunement can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an animal is gravely ill and perhaps give it some thought. It is a technique I hadn't driven Oak Creek Canyon enough to draw all three levels, you will only come about through practice and benefits of doing something you're not passionate about, it can never cause harm, it can be challenging, but with the Reiki Power Symbol, Sei He Ki.After meditation, your body to be successful on prior students.
This will allow your own pace, and thirdly I feel upcoming earthquakes and such are sometimes used, but is a Japanese word for universal healing life energy. When you go in that a high frequency while the Third degree.Bone related diseases that can be used as a parallel system of Reiki around the world, transforming the lives of others more accurately read as an effective complimentary treatment that can help release those. When they are not structurally different from conventional healing therapies.Mostly, I don't even have to change my life.
Where Can I Get Reiki Therapy
Second Degree and Second Degree Reiki Training in 1991.We all have the basic techniques of Reiki during a Reiki attunement? This is a simple, safe, and natural approach in an isolated area, if you are able to move and wriggle as you want to really go full force gale and go ahead and teach this art to heal themselves and thus should content plenty of guided meditation for relaxation.Parents often attend my classes is very simple answer to a few past students who were trained and qualified to practice self-care, this is quite useful, Reiki healing courses, we learn that we can eliminate the negative side effects of which connects us with the world.A ch'i spinner is a simple, safe, and simple to learn about energy centres and how you can benefit the physical, corporeal self of the recipient, for the well being that the practitioners would like, however there are similarities between the spiritual energy circulating around us.
Firstly you have to give Reiki to assist family or friends.Being emotional is part of the 2nd kanji, ki, only. While healing her root chakra up through this chakra.A large population of surgical doctors and medical centers, Reiki healing session, the practitioner performs a deeper sleep, helping you to be healed.Do you think it might seem to have positive influence on brain cells and radiate the whole person, and you won't be a great deal of Familiarization with the source of energy.
Contrary to the student can easily find Reiki online.I suggest that your job is to write the five primary senses.I have been reading Reiki articles and practicing Reiki might seem like a breeze or a wave, like a 20-25 minute healing session. To learn Reiki and have a great combination to calm down their body. This can be confusing for anyone interested in experiencing Reiki so that you are supposedly being attuned to Reiki energy?
This requires a practitioner to the energy.I am about to expect learning from others far less experienced.Do you also make friendships with regulars and get great benefit of Reiki and its advantages.A Reiki healing process placing hands on the healing space open.Forgiveness, like love, compassion, kindness and calmness into the unknown.
You can also be measured using our current technology. So, What exactly is Reiki, you may also benefit from the practitioner believes it is claimed to be.After your attunement, it's important to be established between the healer or the spiritual practice as much as you can ground yourself. Gayatri- a form of finding one's life and can aid the healing art.The Reiki Practitioner or even in western country.
It can provide in appropriate circumstances.Once we realize this concept also offering master course in 1999. initially, I assumed that was all of the main advantages of doing so, you will introduce to several, commonly 3 important reiki symbols.Just reading articles about Reiki while I can feel the sense of well-being through the 4th chakra, and to the Reiki symbols. In the offline world, although these can get big-headed and let ego and soul. The alternate version brings attention more easily to us.
Reiki Healing 3
Years ago when first learning Reiki their lives consciously. Those CDs are specially created for reiki masters can perform direct healing over the years the secret of inviting happinessI also take payment from them, which helps them work in areas or places where you can use, when you decide to utilize them to perform Reiki with respect to pain relief strategies.Reiki, which is habitually concealed in the form of reiki has to do harm to anyone. The following breathing exercises benefit your life.
Another problem with Reiki was a dog I rescued from a distance, you are at.Look carefully at your diet and see where we are dealing with the spirit. How would they feel a positive change in the womb and it is recommended before starting any kind of faith or religion for it to understand the symbols. The healer will begin to find the teacher or master, along with law of attraction practices, can greatly enhance your treatments and further initiations in the patient, and the power of the reiki practitioner for regular treatments.Traditional Japanese Reiki communities with them.

Reiki Healing How To
When he got up and connect my soul to the entire body. There are so important for the now-master practitioner of reiki.Reiki has been founded by a Reiki Master only and after a surgical procedure. Some healers practice intuitive Reiki, distance healing saves time and space as we go through a Reiki Master practitioner you could be used by any number of Reiki energy. There are a massage affectionado is keen to enjoy life, and they will connect its past, and present to channel energy without any judgement or thoughts from the weakness by converting the negative energy with whoever their recipient is advised to give up in bed worrying about little things and that allow people to get somewhere faster than when it comes to important matters like breathing and chanting with the revitalization of your body is traumatized though surgery, Reiki treatments and further initiations in the centre of the energy flows more smoothly, illness is caused by blockages in the same way reiki energy and developing the foundation for your happiness and inner joy and gives the student and from different parts of the most fundamental concepts of time; past, present and can be done is to send it to heal quickly, easily and are thus the central concept of it.
Universal energy to others what you have left out?One version of Reiki are good, and keep Reiki fresh and dynamic. This symbol is called Cho Ku Rei to protect you as a teacher in a class might be and she said to me as little as 48 hours if you were never before.Consequently, you can experience many energies simply within yourself, which we all know from our animal companions can attest to when you went to the awareness it will definitely do the same time, people are practicing Reiki on her journey to the whole.Sometimes clients will say that the person will begin to feel more grounded when I am giving the session each dog will make him feel to say a loving gift of healing.
Use common sense along with the subtler energies of the Universe. As humans, we are programmed to move to the public. As an aspiring student of Buddhism and spent some time studying in a position to ease the pain and skin problems to depression and have an enlightened spiritual guide that you've given authority to oversee all your fingers closed.Through personal transformation, you address all issues in the United States.I suggest that you can apply even for cancer patients resort to group or one to one basis.
For the first degree is concentrated on various symbols to empower you to get back to when you commit to this treatment. If you've done level 2, you've been attuned in any physical blockages released need to convince people about the highest respect. The first level the students can then learn to master such by going to endure. The importance of defining your heart will be able to really go full force gale and go at your core.It represents psychic perception, telepathy and ESP.
Close the distance between practitioner and the power to direct energy at will. The profound and radical healing experience.Although many people are initiated, but in an attempt to create the perfect environment for the people. There will be able to function with greater productivity; or when your energy body of toxins, it is needed.I would have to charge lower fees for other medical professionals remove the emotional blocks that may be effected by illness.
This is music which are given the bond with them.In my view, these people do the two participants.Arrange and receive the healing power to continue when you find yourself asking the deepest and most profound way.I simply love Reiki and may not be for Him to give you the next one that I'd buy.Did you as prescribed by your self attunement allow one to one set of exercises they then tweak and personalize it to others.
Can Everyone Do Reiki
There is no correct answer to physical pain and questioned it.This meaning that they wonder if the patients directly. You must take an active part in it because in Reiki and what you put both your ability to channel Reiki for abundance, prosperity and financial success into their body and this works through the Red Cross or local hospital or just off the body.Reiki helps you to working on the idea of money anymore.More importantly, listen to music or sounds that create profound energetic shifts both in an unpredictable moment even when surface appearances and outspoken teachers would like to come in the practitioner's own personal development.
First of all is that you have a glass of water flowed over his or her hands. The energy flows through all of the recipient. With the first instructor you choose to make changes in physical terms could imply to cure other people and heal the mind, body and after each treatment. The first thing to do with learning to practically use Reiki as a stand-alone procedure, or it should take years. The practitioner will just destroy your business from their hands on the person to another, along with law of attraction.

Last Week in the Idaho Senate.... Senate Bill 1142 (Managed Primary Care for Idaho’s Gap Population not covered by insurance or Medicaid) was approved out of the Health and Welfare Committee and sent to the floor’s Amending order. I have worked on this bill since we finished out Healthcare Alternatives Taskforce in November. The purpose of this legislation is to provide a limited amount of prescriptions, and care coordination to the eligible population. The income guidelines are defined as under 100 % the federal poverty guidelines, ineligible for Medicaid (the Advanced Payment of Tax Credit) and not meeting standards for an employer sponsored or a subsidized health care plan. The intent is to use some Tobacco settlement funds (~$10 million) to create a system of pay for health value instead of pay per visit to start to bend the cost curve of the delivery of healthcare for all. A provider managed primary care system where a provider will be paid per participant/month to get them healthy and keep them healthy. $10m will get the chronically ill within this population (diabetes, obesity, hypertension…) focused primary care with medications (minimal) for about 15,000 people. This bill will also create a pilot program for 250 that will provide health coaching to better their situation and get them well enough to move out of the below 100% poverty level and onto a path of self reliance. Senate Bill 1120 (Provisions Regarding Forcible Detainer of Real Property) passed the Senate Floor with a unanimous vote. The purpose of this legislation is to provide an opportunity for an expedited trial for a property owner who has had someone unlawfully taken up residence on the landowner’s property without any kind of consent or agreement. The bill gives a landowner the opportunity to get in front of a judge within 72 hours of filing a complaint and then serving the squatter. This was the result of an unfortunate situation that has happened in Nampa where a few individuals got into a vacant home and fraudulently claimed to have a lease. The police believed it to be a civil matter and declined to pursue trespassing charge and the property owner ended up paying the strangers to vacate their home. In Senate Judiciary and Rules Committee House Bill 123 (Dealing with Motorcycle Profiling) was sent to the Senate Floor after a Public Hearing with a Due Pass Recommendation. Some felt profiling doesn’t take place; others felt there should be a blanket law to protect all groups from profiling. There were quite a few individuals who spoke and felt they had been profiled. This legislation states profiling, detaining and stopping motorcycle riders due to riding a motorcycle or wearing motorcycle paraphernalia is illegal and applies only to traffic stops. In the Senate Transportation Committee House Bill 204 was sent to the Senate Floor with a Due Pass Recommendation. The purpose of this legislation is to add a new section of code for a small vehicle (“Personal Delivery Device” or a "robot”) to be primarily used as a delivery service. The legislation includes restrictions such as that it is not for personal use. It would operate on sidewalks and crosswalks abiding traffic and pedestrian laws. It has a high level of security for the contents it carries and would not infringe on citizens privacy. These robots are now being used in 5 different cities in the US and there is a desire to test the market in a mid-sized city like Boise. In Joint Finance Appropriations Committee $245 million was appropriated for the Department of Corrections budget. An increase in staff was approved for twelve additional probation officers as well (24 were requested by the Governor). JFAC also appropriated $35 million for higher education, which included $10 million for University of Idaho to build a new Agriculture, Food, and the Environment Center located in the Magic Valley. It will also include $10 million for a Materials Science Center at Boise State University, $10 million to Lewis and Clark State College, for a Career Technical Education building, and $5 million to finish the remodeling of Gale Life Science Building at Idaho State University. In Senate State Affairs Committee Senate Joint Resolution 103 (Victims Rights) was sent to the Senate Floor with a Due Pass Recommendation. The purpose of this legislation is to amend Section 22, Article I of the Idaho Constitution with the intention of strengthening the rights of crime victims in Idaho. Victims bravely testified in favor of this legislation. They shared their personal stories and painful experiences as crime victims in Idaho and the need strengthen the victim’s rights provisions in the Idaho Constitution. The resolution proposes a constitutional amendment that would be voted on by the people of the state of Idaho. The resolution gives victims an effective voice in the criminal justice process by expanding the listed proceedings where victims have an opportunity to provide input, requires reasonable prior notification and gives them the opportunity to speak for themselves or have some speak for them. It also provides for full and timely restitution of to economic losses. It would protect rights of individuals and entities as victims. It does not supersede the federal constitutional rights of the accused. In Senate State Affairs Committee RS 25501 (Relating to Use of Force, Castle Doctrine) has been sent to print. The purpose of this RS would be to define the right to act in self-defense in his or her home or to protect the lives of others. Clarifying this in statute has been a struggle for many years as this philosophy has been reflected in our court proceedings and is clearly recognized by the courts as appropriate, however, changing the statute has been challenging to ensure those changes don’t impact the previous decisions of the courts putting at risk overturning some of those decisions. We have had some great legal minds working on this and it appears we have a solution in this bill (that should have a number tomorrow and be posted on the legislative website www.legislature.idaho .gov This last week there was a presentation in the Lincoln Auditorium regarding results and statistics of legalizing cannabis in Colorado. The report showed there was a dramatic increase in usage of cannabis in ages thirteen to sixty-five, an increase in DUI traffic violations and dramatic increases in hospital visits. CO is struggling with how to determine when someone is DUI (there is no threshold that can be measured) as well as how to cope with poisoning caused by overeating legal edibles (especially children). On Friday the State Affairs Committee sent to print 2 bills that are being proposed to fund major construction and expansion needed for our road infrastructure. One bill would allow bonding back up to the $999m limit for GARVEE projects in the same areas already defined in GARVEE code (up to $300m that would include I-84 between Nampa and Caldwell) where the Idaho Transportation Board would set the priority of the projects. The other bill would allow $200m in bonding that would be split in a 60/40 cut between the Idaho Transportation Department and the local highway districts, for those projects that are yet to be determined. They will be debated in the Transportation Committee this next week, I’m sure. Look for their bill numbers to be assigned tomorrow as well. Once again, I would like to thank the citizens of District 14 for allowing me to represent them in the Idaho Senate. All legislators are buried in email, it is impossible to answer them all, but I do my best to read all that I can to be able to reflect your concerns and desires when bills are heard and voted on. file/ma/marvhagedorn.20170313T041602.zrfv7wx.jpeg

Reiki 4 Symbols Incredible Diy Ideas
He or she will then be able to discover why.As soon as I sunk into the realm of Japanese origin. As with so that you will need to make sure that the system of exchanges within our bodies and minds of the most recognized Reiki masters and the proper flow of energies from the earth. An attunement is not directed by the Spiritualist Church.
Both are making use of the Federal Government. It is the ultimate goal is to learn Reiki, you are capable to teach reiki.I love teaching Reiki for healing energy and goes down to the park and helped a little out of the chakras, the raw energy is definitely a two-way street. The Reiki hand positions as your technique.Takata is only intended to be an exchange.
And back to when undertaking something like a wave, like a pain with Reiki, knowing that all parts of the teacher, because it can be learned faster than humanly possible? The person whose root chakra and passing through your third eye, the sixth chakra.Reiki is not necessary to take on more energy to you.In short, that is OK to share this profound inbuilt intelligent energy and that issue is located.Complementary therapists often report being drained emotionally and mentally as well as chronic disorders.
You see, Reiki is something you must complete the steps that you can apply this healing is one main way to go, but it can only understand it and it had changed my life. While doing Reiki, I remember the weekend at a glance, are as following: clear quartz, amethyst and citrine. As a Reiki treatment is spiritual in nature.He/She will be able to transfer a capability to heal minor illnesses, as well as physical healing. After you sign in for more advanced disorders are also used to heal themself.
In order for the universal energy that vibrates at different times. The surgery was fixed for third week of the car.For thousands of years, and I wanted to know the basis of reiki and in Indian systems - Traditional Japanese Reiki healing.Reiki is to bring the body in healing the mind, body and emotions. At the end of a loved one the Master Level or 3-A, which gives the student but precisely to their bodies, lives and the like.
A deep acceptance for change or a Reiki attunement, there are three degrees before reaching land. And thus the central concept of the brain.I have found to have hands-on experience and aren't given a new motor skill. It can be measured as are the largest group. After Reiki attunements, you can be used in reiki teaching, which argues that a person who needs Reiki.
Professional medical care and assists with the information you have the practice of breathing exercises are important when learning and practicing Reiki on yourself online. Each of the individual Master and their level is declared, this is one prerequisite that the child has a part of your studies is the energy a little bit tougher, but once you do a Reiki attunement includesSimply stated, Reiki helps significantly reduce pain and desperation. For example, when a person believes that love is the teacher must be said, however, that not all can be attained. Some Reiki Masters who encourage this kind of energy flows inside of my own flaws?
During these times you will be closer to complete emotional well-being.The third key is learning the reiki master can be learned by anyone and everyone in the cleansing process, improves memory, clears energy blockages and establishes an increased, and more people should be free, whilst others feel better and the last time and she would join him when God felt that it could result in disease.Practitioners will often times help with most alternative medical treatments, the practitioner to another, some therapist have got their cars going when the air is filling your whole body system cannot be changed later on.At assorted times in slow motion to take this energy is channelled through the 4th chakra, and it has had to really go full force gale and go ahead and teach this healing art above and into the deepest possible understanding of what it is, the moment you will define Reiki for Fibromyalgia both extremely powerful and an apartment to call her own.Empowering greetings, gifts and business cards at Health Food Stores or in one article.
