why did I build my watercolor palette with two different PV19 pigments and no green
#me @me why did you roundly and rightly ignore 'noooo NEVER use a neutral paint ALWAYS mix your own blacks and greys' type opinions#but not. green. when your most used cotman color was the sap green. why have you done this#(in my defense I ALWAYS fiddled with that green so I figured... if I'm mixing it every time anyway... why not mix it from scratch....)#(but the answer is that that's really annoying lmao)#ALSO fwiw I have quinacridone magenta AND permanent rose because the latter behaves much more nicely to make Pink#I don't know why It Just Does. paint too many flowers to fuck around with subpar pinks and purples#at least mixing greens from scratch produces EXCELLENT greens I just have to fucking Do It every single time lmao#GREAT news: I do actually have an empty half pan in my palette heehoo#right now it's got a little kneaded eraser in it but also I never use it so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
