Anyways i am now going to talk about fetid glen and this room in particular#wow the guy who likes drawing with barf colors liked the barf colored region ANYWAYS#the reason i like this room so much is because it offers us a new version of rot. this creepy dripping singing thing … surrounded by#mushrooms … fetid glen in general is very unique rot-wise! the colors; the Stank; the bugs (i think)#just the fact that it’s already rotted but not in the way you’re used to. and i personally am SUCH a fan of that#because look. i love the long legs and tentacles and shit as much as the next guy. i appreciate the classic rot#but i just don’t know if it had to be so … uniform. and so everywhere. truly daddyworld the rot consumes etc etc#which is why i appreciate fetid glen for breaking out of that mold and showing a different version of rot. the colors and the air are fucked#there’s mushrooms everywhere. there’s something wrong with the animals. there’s something wrong with this place in general#scary lobe tree. u know? i wish watcher gave us more variety like that. as much as i love classic rot i was way more excited about#Weird Goop and Bugs (or what i thought was bugs. apparently it was sentient rot spores. but it’s bugs in my heart)#rot and decay has so many symbols and forms i feel like you could really have fun with it :) it doesn’t all have to be tentacle yk?#especially with how many regions watcher has and how starkly different they all are#if fetid glen could do it everywhere else can too#this rant could go on forever because my feelings on the rot in watcher are Plentiful and i sort of wish it was different (doesnt elaborate)#TLDR this room left a pretty big impression on me because it actually was something fresh AND disturbing#(and also it was a classic watcher dlc dead-end that actually had something interesting) (BUT THATS ANOTHER RANT WHICH I WONT GET INTO)

if you're an egotistical artist, you should use alt text.
hear me out. you want to show people your art, right? you want them to see the important details, the shit they should be blown away with... right? so they know how to compliment you and what they should be focusing on, no? and you want everyone to see it?
put a description in the alt text.
not just "my oc standing in front of a background" no get descriptive after you say that. focus on that shit you put in there. "a woman with beautiful eyes and an ornate hammer" better. what'd you spend three hours detailing? "wearing a shirt with an ornate lace pattern" better! what are you aiming for? "it looks like a classical portrait" THERE.
and having the alt text button means people who can see might click on it too. and then be like "wow i didn't notice half of these details". its true. happens to me pretty often. half the time they're like "this owns, omg, you guys should look at the alt text" because i did a good job describing it and there's details even they didn't catch until they read it and looked back over it.
if you like when people stroke the hell out of your ego and catch all the cool things in your art. and you want everyone to see your art. put some alt text on that thing. for serious.

extremely important question do any buffy fans here actually like angel (the series not the character) because i swear all i see lately is people saying it sucks and they couldn't get through it and it's like you can't ALL be that wrong
#season 1 is i guess a bit slow if you're not into the initial premise#at least the beginning#and yeah the soap opera dramatics of s4 get ragged on for obvious reasons#but 2 and 3 are insane#and 5 is just a lot of fun indespersed with some of the most devastating shit you'll ever watch. great times#angel has some of the best storylines in the entire buffyverse argue with the wall#it's not as solid all the way through as buffy by any means but the heights of angel absolutely rival some of the heights of buffy#doesn't beat them out though but still#also s4 is way better on rewatches is what i've realised#first time i was like. what#but once you know what's actually causing everyone to act like they are it isn't as crazy as it first seems lmao#still a mess and joss whedon must pay for his crimes regarding cordelia#but it's definitely much better still#i just don't understand how you can watch wesley completely unraveling throughout the show and not agree it bangs severely#the father will kill the son????? peak television i don't CARE#also angel gets sooo much darker and adult than buffy it's so interesting!!#and darla... oh my darla.....#most people hate connor when he grows up and thats fair i did too#i still don't love him but i appreciate his character a looot more on rewatches#and from a psychological perspective he's fascinating#he gets a bit of a dawn treatment from audiences i feel like. like you can call them annoying thats fair#but when people claim they're annoying for no reason im like lets look at their lives so far please 😭#anyway. regardless of your opinion on older connor. that initial storyline before and right after he's born#absolutely fucking crazy and also so good#you're telling me you watched darla sobbing being like i won't even be able to remember that i loved it and you felt nothing????#i could go on about this forever probably sorry
