Nuzlocke Shield Part Four
Part Three
An we are off again. Three zones to go through to get to Hammerlocke, let's see what we get.
Stony Wilderness it is snowing, and we get Sneasel, which is a dupe so let's try for a second one. It's a Chubcoo.
Oreo - Chubcoo (m) Slush Rush Sassy (SDf up / Spd down) “It scatters things often!”
Giant's Cap is sunny (thank god) and we get Lombre! Wasn’t expecting this.
Pina Colada - Lombre (m) Rain Dish Docile (no change) “It's impetuous and silly!”
Lastly Hammerlocke Hills is raining and we get Pelipper. Meh.
Febreeze - Peilipper (f) Drizzle Modest (SAk up / Atk down) “It's very finicky!” Rainy Mark
This is the first Pokemon I’ve caught that had a mark on it, but it's not enough to warrant putting Pelipper on my team.
I see Bede and the Chairman in the middle of Hammerlocke, but let's do some exploring before story time. First up, a house with a Blakckbelt and a level 2 Cottonee. Um ok.
Oh fuck. Oh fuck. I forgot about Endevour. It left Snapper with 1 HP! That could have been a disaster!
I’m wary about going into the Battle Cafe. I know they're double battles against fairy types, and the only effective move I have at the moment is Acid on a baby Pokemon. So I’ll give that a miss for the moment, maybe come back when Toxel has evolved and I have some Steel moves somewhere.
Mmm, Chairman Rose knows exactly what he's doing walking around the city in those shorts. There's a guy outside the far left Pokemon Centre, trying to meet someone. Maybe if Chairman Rose spent more time on Grindr he wouldn’t want to resurrect ancient deities.
I wish we had a chance to explore more of the castle part of Hammerlocke. There are loads of paths and stairwells with gates on them that look like they should open up.
Anyway, let’s see what Route 6 has on offer, thankfully not another damn Ice type.
Oh wait, Team Yell first.
Yay, Jett is evolving into Toxtricity Amped Form!
Ah! Bullseye is evolving in Mudsdale too! Awesome sauce.
Ok finally back to Route 6 and our encounter is a Heatmor! Interesting, I have genuinely never used this Pokemon before.
Otis - Heatmor (m) Flash Fire Modest (SAk up / Atk down) “It takes plenty of siestas!” Rowdy Mark
I think I’m going to swap out Carcoal for Heatmor. It has better stats and isn’t four times weak to Water and Ground. There's a TM for Fire Spin in the Hammerlocke shop too, and whilst it's not the greatest attack it should cover Heatmor until it learns something else.
While I’m back here, I’ll check the Move Relearner for my newly evolved Pokemon too. Heatmor can relearn Incinerate, so Fire Spin isn't needed now. If money weren’t so easy to come by I might be upset about spending 10k.
Get to the end of Route 6 and the dumb fuck trainer has his Koffing use Self Destruct, good thing I swapped Otis out for Snapper otherwise that could have been a short career again.
I like Stow-on-Side, it's good a good look to it. No encounters here though, so I'll head up to the mushroom forest bit and see if I can catch a Psychic, Ghost or Dark type and not another useless bird or something.
Dammit Hop leave me alone.
Dammit Opal leave me alone.
Dammit Team Yell leave me alone. Can’t do anything I want these days.
Fine, Glimwood Tangle is out of the question until I beat Allister. Going to go train a bit.
Got everyone up to 35-36 and raided a few dens to get some TRs that really didn’t help a great deal with moves. A lot of my team have totally the wrong natures, boosting Attack when Special Attack would be better and vice versa (Toxtricity being a prime example). But we'll see where we go.
Also Drumroll has evolved into a Rillaboom. This play through is notably the first time I have used one of the starters, as I generally dislike all three in this game.
Time to hit the Gym.
The trainers didn’t put up much of a fight, but I’m wary of GMax Gengar doing a lot of damage because I don’t have anything that resists Ghost attacks. I hope Drednaw will be fast enough to get off a Max Darkness and survive anything Gengar throws at her.
Not faster than Gengar, but Gengar used Max Ooze which Snapper resists, and the Max Darkness KO'd it.
Ghost Badge get!
Dammit Bede leave me alone
If Rose disqualifies Bede in the name of keeping things fair, shouldn’t help also disqualify Marnie (or at least issue a warning) as a result of her supporters actively attempting to sabotage other gym challengers?
Dammit Sinistea leave me alo... oh no never mind. Sinistea you can stay :)
Chamomile - Sinistea (g) Weak Armour Gentle (SDf up / Dfc down) “It likes to fight!” Vigor Mark
Goodbye Machoke, Sinistea is on the team. I'll use the Cracked Pot I have to immediately evolve it into Polteageist, and as always check back with the Move Relearner.
I'm half way through the Gym Challenge. I have two zones left to explore in the Wild Area (Dusty Bowl and Giant's Mirror) not counting the two I need to cross water to reach. I’m in no immediate need for new Pokemon right now, so I’ll see what the weather is like on them going forward and visit when it's not snowing or raining.
I love Ballonlea, it's such an amazing looking town. This is the best looking location in the entire game, it's like all the design budget went here instead of being shared out elsewhere.
Got some eviolite, useless atm but you never know if I might need it in the future.
Let’s take on Opal and get that out of the way.
A trainer's Morgrem almost knocked out Chamomile with an attack, but luckily I was faster and able to take it down first. Close though.
Bullseye makes quick work of both Weezing and Mawile, and Opal's stat boosts certainly don’t go amiss. I was intending to use Jett here, but with Bullseye's Stamina boosting its defence, plus a speed and special defence boost from Opal she might not be needed.
It took three Max Steelspike's but Alcreamie fell to Bullseye. Opal only asked two of her three questions.
Fairy Badge get!
Back to Hammerlocke and Chairman Rose's Grindr hook-up is still waiting at the Pokecentre. I think now that I’m back I’ll do the Battle Cafe I skipped last time.
Oh fuck yeah, they're level 37 each. If I’d tried this back when I thought about it I would have been under level 30 and it would have been game over for me.
What a crap prize. An item that restores 20HP. Wowee.
Eww Bede is here again. Gross.
Let's do the two spots in the Wild Area now to get them done and out of the way before I head to Circhester.
Giant's Mirror gets me a Roselia. Not great tbh. Oops, knocked it out. Oh well.
Dusty Bowl gets me a Dubwool. A Dubwool!? Of all the Pokemon in the Wild Area I get the big goat!? Ffs.
Babs - Dubwool (f) Fluffy Relaxed (Dfc up / Spd down) “It's capable of taking hits!”
Back to Hammerlocke, past Sonia and the pointless bit of storyline that has no impact. Though it is refreshing to hear characters say “this isn’t for kids to worry about” instead of the fate of the universe resting firmly on your shoulders while the elite trainers sit and watch as is the norm in most Pokemon games.
God do I have to fight Hop AGAIN!?
“The way you battle, it kind of reminds me of Lee” you mean, well using proper strategy and skill instead that'a expected of someone aiming to be the champion, Mr “ive studied all my brother's battles, now wooloo use tackle on the steel type”?
“Now have a taste of our true power!” Water attack against a grass type. Ok.
Route encounter is a Corviknight, so another dupe. Next one is a Shelmet. Ok, I like Shelmet, but being unable to evolve it makes it pretty useless.
Kiniggit is a bad name I can't enter. I assume it's because the French used it as an insult against King Arthur during his quest for the Holy Grail.
G'night - Shelmet (f) Shell Armour Naughty (Atk up / SDf down) “It takes plenty of siestas!”
Ok, that's enough for today, this has been a long one. No deaths though so that’s good. Might finally have some balance to the team.
Current Team Drumroll - Rillaboom (lv 40) Bullseye - Mudsdale (lv 41) Snapper - Drednaw (lv 40) Otis - Heatmor (lv 40) Chamomile - Polteageist (lv 40) Jett - Toxtricity (lv 41)
Boxed Joltik Slowpoke Charjabug Croagunk Oddish Snorunt Sizzlepede Sneasel Chubcoo Lombre Pelipper Carcoal Machoke Dubwool Shelmet
Losses Bandit the Nickit - Knocked out by a fat squirrel Gumball the Tympole - Devoured by a centipede with a moustache Castlevania the Rookidee - Torn apart by a cute mole HaagenDazs the Vanillite - Murdered in an act of revenge by a smelly frog

Pepperoni Lasagna
by Travis G.
My recipe I chose to make a tumblr post about is one that holds a place at my family’s dinner table and is specifically made for me. Holiday food is something many people look forward to when that time of year comes around. People get excited for the turkey and mashed potatoes and third and fourth helpings of stuffing at Thanksgiving. Christmas also brings many special foods that each family prepares whether it be a traditional dish or cultural dish. However, for me holidays always meant I had to eat before we left to go to whatever house was hosting. I am not a fan of turkey, ham or any of the traditional holiday dishes many people serve at the gatherings. Nothing against any of the cooks who prepared the meals, I just have a very peculiar pallet and a particular taste for things. I have always been a picky eater no matter how hard I tried not to be. Some people were more understanding and some told me to just suck it up and eat what was there, which is what happened most of the time.
Then one Christmas, around nine or ten years ago, my grandma Carolyn formed an idea. She is such a sweet lady and is always trying to make sure everyone is taken care of and comfortable. She never was a fan of hearing me say that I wasn’t having anything because I already ate because she wanted me to not feel left out. This lead her to make me something special for me so that I could have something to eat as well. I am a huge fan of pizza and I love her homemade lasagna. She combined these two things that I like and she knew I ate into one dish. She found pepperoni lasagna recipes on the internet and surprised me with it on Christmas. It was revolutionary to say the least. Not only was it a big hit for me, but everyone else was a fan of it too. So now there is a family tradition, and a little running joke, that grandma makes pepperoni lasagna for me when it’s actually not just for me, but it’s for everyone.
This was very significant to me and my holiday experience from then on because I always did feel a little left out when it came time to eat. I would always sit there awkwardly just drinking whatever beverage I had while my brothers and cousins would be chowing down on all sorts of different foods. No one would ever make fun of me for not having anything to eat, but you could tell that everyone was kind of curious as to why I wouldn’t be eating. The fact that my grandma went the extra mile to make it so that I was part of the group and didn’t feel like I wasn’t part of the holiday festivities. Even better was the fact that she did it in a way as to never make me feel that I was burdening her with making something extra.
There are several great things about making pepperoni lasagna. I chose this also because it is a very simple and minimal effort dish to make. I am a huge fan of food that is easy preparation and you can just toss it in the oven and forget about it for a while. Also this dish is very customizable as you can add or take out whatever ingredients you want without straying away from being still being pepperoni lasagna. The dish allows for some creativity as well as being a very cheap option. This is not going to bust the bank to make and you are able to make a decent amount of it to feed several people. Overall the dish can take from 30 minutes or longer depending on how “done” you prefer your lasagna noodles. This way it is not an all day project but you’re getting more out of it than something you toss in the microwave. As a broke college student this was always a go to meal of mine and it always gave me that nostalgic feeling from being that special dish my grandma made me for Christmas.
First, gather up all of your ingredients.
Then comes boiling the lasagna noodles. You do this for about 7-9 minutes to cook the pasta until almost done.
Next, start layering your lasagna in your tray. I prefer to use tongs for this part because I don’t like touching the slimy pasta.
Now you start pouring in your pasta and have your mom take a not so flattering picture of you while doing it. I used a spoon to help spread the sauce evenly over the layers of noodles.
Following the sauce, I layered the pepperoni over top of the sauce. You can layer as much pepperoni into each section as you want, but I prefer to keep it lighter and to one layer.
After the pepperoni layering I started with the cheese. If you are like me I like to use a lot of cheese and this is ok, no one will judge you.
Now you repeat those steps of pasta, sauce, pepperoni, and cheese layering until you have used up all of your pasta and finish with some sauce and cheese on top.
You now have your beautiful finished product. Doesn’t that just look delicious and ready to eat? Well if you’re thinking this, stop right there because you have to cook it first.
Put it in the oven at 375 degrees for around 45 minutes. Now you can pull that hot mess out of the oven and give it some time to cool. You’re ready for some lasagna and to enjoy the food you worked semi-hard on.
Blazy’s Pepperoni Studded Lasagna
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/guy-fieri/blazys-pepperoni-studded-lasagna-recipe-1946752.amp
Total: 1 hr 35 min
Prep: 20 min
Cook: 1 hr Yield: 8 to 10 servings
Ingredients Salt 1 pound lasagna sheets 8 ounces sliced pepperoni (about 2 cups) 4 cups Tomato Sauce 1 pound ricotta 1 pound shredded mozzarella 2 pounds bulk Italian sausage, cooked ¾ cup grated Parmesan
Directions Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Boil 6 quarts of water, add a pinch of salt and cook the pasta to almost done, about 7 minutes. Remove from the water and shock in an ice bath. In a medium saucepan, add the pepperoni and saute over medium heat until crispy, about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and drain on a paper towel. In a 10- by 14- by 3-inch baking pan or dish, pour 1 cup of the Tomato Sauce in the bottom and around the sides. Layer lasagna sheets on the bottom of the pan, overlapping by ½ inch. Add one-third of the ricotta and one-quarter of the mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni and Parmesan. Spoon 1 cup of tomato sauce over the top. Repeat this two more times. On the top sheet, finish with the remaining cup of tomato sauce, mozzarella, sausage and pepperoni and dust with Parmesan. Bake until the cheese bubbles around the edges and the top is melted and light golden brown, about 45 minutes. If baking the dish from the freezer, add 15 to 20 minutes to the cook time, or until it’s bubbly. Cover loosely with foil if it’s browning too quickly. Remove from the oven; let sit for 15 minutes. Cut and serve immediately with more sauce, if desired.

Instructions to make Spaghetti & Meatballs with Chunky Veggie Tomato Sauce:
If you have time, prepare the meatball mixture the night before (the salt/shio-koji will help tenderize the meat). If not, mix before you start cooking - Mix all the meatball ingredients in a bowl or tupperware..
Finely mince the garlic and onion. Chop the eggplant, carrot, and bell pepper into small cubes..
Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a sauce pan and saute the garlic and onion until onion is very soft. Add the other vegetables, herbs, and a pinch of salt & pepper. Saute for a couple of minutes..
Add the cans of whole tomatoes, a splash of wine (optional) and about 1/2 can water (~150 ml). Bring the sauce to a boil..
Turn to medium low and let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes until it's the thickness you like. Taste and adjust salt and pepper. Add a teaspoon or two of sugar if the tomatoes are too acidic/tart..
While the sauce is cooking, get the meatballs ready. Form the meatball mixture into about 16 meatballs..
Heat a frying pan with a little bit of oil. Add the meatballs to the pan and fry the first side. (fry in batches depending on the size of your pan. You don't want to crowd them too much).
When the first side is browned, flip the meatballs and brown the other sides..
Remove from the frying pan when done. The insides will be cooked later in the sauce..
Prepare a pot of boiling water for the pasta and toss the pasta in so it's cooking while you finish up the rest of the meatball sauce..
When the sauce has been thickened and the pasta is in the pot, add the meatballs into the sauce. Cover with a lid and simmer it on low for about 5 minutes to finish cooking the insides of the meatballs..
When the pasta is finished, dish it out onto plates and top with the meatball sauce. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and a little parsley..
So that's going to wrap it up with this special food spaghetti & meatballs with chunky veggie tomato sauce recipe. Thanks so much for your time. I am sure you will make this at home. There is gonna be interesting food in home recipes coming up. Remember to bookmark this page on your browser, and share it to your loved ones, colleague and friends. Thank you for reading. Best Burritos in the States
LOCO COCO'S TACOSKITTERY, MELoco Coco's is the work of Luis and Ramona Valdez, two San Diego transplants with a passion for burritos. It began life as a tiny walk-up counter in 2004, but now serves its adoring fan base in a full-on cantina and dining room. Since the Valdezes come from SD, they naturally added a local favorite in their California burrito, a steak- and French fry-filled marvel improbably located in a coastal Maine town. It might just trick you into thinking you're staring at a different ocean -- that is, until the throngs of living L.L. Bean catalogs walk by.A good burrito means different things to different people. Some want a feast bigger than their forearms. Others want to load up as many sauces, guacs, and creams as possible. Still more crave flour tortillas fluffier than their overpriced pillow (it's from Brookstone!). But no matter your personal philosophy, there's no denying the quality of these 33 beauties. Although they come from different walks of life, the sight of any one of them would make your coworker instantly regret his sad salad lunch. We compiled this list using trusted friends, editors, publications, and our own damn bellies, and we're pretty proud of it, but if you think we missed something major, we know you'll tell us in the comments.
ANNA'S TAQUERIA
BROOKLINE, MA
The undisputed burrito champ of Boston, Anna's has amassed a mini-empire since it first opened in 1995. It's now repping six locations in the greater Boston area, and locals speak of it in the same reverent tones usually reserved for David Ortiz. The tortillas are steamed with cheese, which might be inauthentic, but is also amazing. And you have the option to super-size, so take it.
BELL STREET BURRITOS
ATLANTA, GA
Hear us out! Yes, we know a chicken and broccoli burrito sounds like the kind of blasphemy that leads to plagues. But in the hands of this lauded Atlanta spot, it's a sin worth committing. The chicken & broccoli (rest assured, it's loaded with Jack cheese) is one of Bell Street's four burrito specials, but you can also go with a less gonzo option off its basic burrito menu -- a menu that includes steak, ground beef, shrimp, green chilies, potato, pork, chicken, beans, and even more broccoli.
CALEXICO
NEW YORK, NY
When the three Vendley brothers moved from California to New York, they missed the Cal-Mex food they grew up with, so they did the natural New York thing and opened a food cart. A Vendy award and hot Martha Stewart Show appearance soon followed, as did several brick-and-mortar locations. Now, you can enjoy their trademark marinated steak burrito all over Manhattan and Brooklyn. Lesson learned: never underestimate Martha Stewart's masterful control of NYC street food.
CHANGOS
AUSTIN, TX
Changos abandons any pretensions and focuses instead on great burritos and tacos. You're working on three levels with the burritos here: Super (beans, rice, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, tomato, salsa), Maximo (all that with a choice of meat), or Bongos for Changos (the Maximo with guac). Despite the latter's flashier name, we're advocating you go middle of the road with a Maximo. Don't let the hordes of UT kids (it's right next to campus) get in your way.
BLACK BEAR BURRITOS
MORGANTOWN, WV
Black Bear has tons of live music and a nice selection of beers on tap, but this isn't your typical Mid-Atlantic pub. The place also has a lengthy selection of burritos that toe the line of heresy -- a stir fry "Mr. Teri Yaki" burrito?! -- without leaping right over it. Start with the Irie Member. If you're up on your Rastafarianisms, you'll know "irie" is an excellent state of existence and in this case, it indicates a Jamaican jerk sauce covering pineapple, beans, cheese, rice, jicama, and your choice of meat.
CHILE PEPPER
YUMA, AZ
Chile Pepper already wins points for having a drive-thru -- it's called Mr. G's and it serves the same recipes as the Chile Pepper sit-down location. But it's also got great food at dirt-cheap prices. The excellent bean-and-cheese burrito is just $1.89. Seriously, a large Coke is more expensive! Make the most of this opportunity by cruising by Mr. G.'s for a baker's dozen, since scoring double-digit orders of burritos is much more exciting than a basket of blueberry muffins.
DOS TOROS
NEW YORK, NY
The Calexico bros drew their inspiration from California's Imperial Valley, but the brothers behind Dos Toros (Leo and Oliver Kremer) went with a more traditional muse: the SF Mission District. Like so many West Coast transplants, they were bummed out by the burrito scene when they arrived in New York, so they decided to rectify the problem with some recipes from home. After putting in time in Mexican restaurant kitchens and honing their burritos with an impressive 10-day food quest, they opened Dos Toros. The New York Times was one of the first to heap praise on the carnitas, but the paper of record certainly wasn't the last. Today, Dos Toros' strong pork game is well-established, as is the restaurant's burgeoning rap career.
EL FAROLITO
SAN FRANCISCO, CA
It's hard to stand out in San Francisco's Mission District, an area so well-known for its glorious burritos, there's an entire category known as "Mission-style." But El Farolito certainly does. Just check out how thoroughly it crushed the competition in Esquire's reader poll for most "life-changing" burrito. Devotees will accept no substitutes, which is probably why the line winds well out the door on any given night. If you can manage to push through the crowds of tipsy 20-somethings, order the carne asada.
AL & BEA'S
LOS ANGELES, CA
You probably already thought we were crazy for recommending a basic bean-and-cheese at Chile Pepper. But we're about to do it a second time, because the one at Al & Bea's is just that good. Although most California burrito spots require beef, pork, or at least some French fries, people clamor around the bean-and-cheese because of its impossibly perfect balance with the Al & Bea's red house sauce. It might seem boring, but it's the best move at this nearly 50-year-old institution.
EL LIMON
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA
Philadelphia has several strong players (think Los Gallos Mexican Taqueria, Cucina Zapata), but if you want the very best, take a field trip over to Conshohocken. There, you’ll find El Limon, an unassuming little taqueria that’s packing some serious burritos. As any fan will tell you, getting it without the place’s otherworldly mole is a sin and a crime, so go wet-style. And while you’re there, you might as well take advantage of the FREE MARGARITAS. This is not a joke. Go there now.
EL ZARAPE
SAN DIEGO, CA
Shrimp? Good. Steak? Great. Pico de gallo and a special sour cream sauce? Outstanding. All this and more (cheese! guac!) can be yours if you order one of El Zarape's surf & turf burritos. El Z burritos aren't exactly monsters, so this isn't the kind of burrito that'll bust your gut. But it is the kind you'll have dreams about for years to come.
FLAMING AMY'S BURRITO BARN
WILMINGTON, NC
Usually when something's advertised as "hot, fast, cheap, and easy," it's not a compliment. Unless it's geared at one of the creative burrito creations at Flaming Amy's, in which case it's a laudable guarantee. The Wilmington destination is known for getting a little wild with its menu -- think Philly cheesesteak- and cheeseburger-inspired burritos. Before you tango with a Philly Phatboy, though, try the titular Flaming Amy, which comes loaded with jalapeños, chipotle peppers, and green chiles. Or, if the thought of a single jalapeño makes you wince, go with the Fajitarrito. (You're not the only one with portmanteau play, Quesarito.)
FREEBIRDS WORLD BURRITO
AUSTIN, TX
Named for the song that ruins every music fest (sorry, Skynyrd), Freebirds has conquered seven states and counting since it emerged in 1987. You have 15 free fixings and several house salsas and sauces to choose from here -- but don't get distracted by all the noise. Make a beeline for the quesarito, which was building a rep at Freebirds long before Taco Bell hopped on the train.
GARBO'S GRILL
KEY WEST, FL
Despite its growing fame, Garbo's is still operating as a humble food cart next to the bar Grunt's. While the fresh fish burritos have their own following, husband-and-wife team Eli and Kenna Pancamo are renowned for their Korean BBQ burrito, which rolls marinated beef short rib, cabbage, scallions, carrots, daikon, Sriracha, and citrus-soy dressing into one amazing Key West dish.
GORDITOS
SEATTLE, WA
You know a burrito means business when it requires a knife and fork. The Burrito Grande (or "Baby burrito") at Gordito's Healthy Mexican Food (good one, guys) is so stuffed with meat, beans, rice, lettuce, sour cream, salsa, and guacamole that it requires two large tortillas. It also requires an iron stomach and fierce determination, because it's legit the size of a fat baby.
HABANERO'S GRILL
SAN ANTONIO, TX
You might have some trust issues with a burrito that spells cheese with a "z," but this San Antonio selection is the real deal. The Cheezy Beef features ground beef (duh), Spanish rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, and three types of "cheeze" (queso, cheddar, Monterey Jack). Sounds like it can't get much better, right? Wrong. Habanero's also has a crazed cocktail menu that includes Big Red-A-Ritas and Pop Rocks margs. And if you haven't eaten a superior burrito with a crackling candy drink, have you really lived?
ILLEGAL PETE'S
DENVER, CO
Have you heard the one about the salsa that was so hot, it nearly killed a guy? That'd be the House Hot salsa at Illegal Pete's, which nearly gave Pete a heart attack when he was still honing the recipes. Obviously that's a big sell for spice fanatics, but milder burrito fans will also find a lot to love about the Colorado mini-chain. There's the green chile, which you can smother on any burrito. There's the Tex-Mex-ified pesto sauce, which is made with poblano peppers. But most importantly, there's the Mexican Coke-braised carnitas. Make sure you get those in your illicit tortilla.

Warming Up This Morning
UPDATE: The Infinite Abyss(es): "Warming Up This Morning" -- #running #music #playlist --
This morning was nice and brisk. I was able to scrape off the ice on my car quickly, but the windshield was still quite icy, and that probably helped keep the interior quite chilly. As I am cat sitting again, the access to the downstairs coffee shop is quite convenient to grab a cup as the car wakes up a little bit.
Winter is upon us in the northeast. And it’s best to accept it, because the only…
