Grief surrounds me, mixed with confusion and a singular spark of outrage, but I push aside my own pain and focus on Oberon and Sigmund, seizing theirs instead. Their eyes flare a bright pink as they stand rigid–  then their weapons are out and Oberon is charging down Rytlock while his cub nocks a crystal-headed arrow onto his bow. Remorse tugs at my concentration–while Vlast’s echoes may not forgive me, I know Sig will, but that doesn’t make me feel better–but I push on while the rest of the group focuses on evading the tumbleweed that is Rytlock and Oberon. The traitorous charr allows himself to be bowled over, and in that moment Sig halts his fire to avoid skewering his sire.  Though I didn’t expect him to fight smart, the wind is on my side: barely a thought is needed for it to carry me towards them. I drift toward the wrestling charr and command Oberon–the lieutenant kicks Rytlock and rolls away towards his fallen gunblade.  Arrows begin to rain around us, and Rytlock shouts, “Dammit, cub, don’t do this!” “I have every right to kill you!” Arrows that would hit me are torn asunder as I lash a whip of pink energy forward. “Balthazar–” “You won’t have to worry about Balthazar!”

Oberon Furyhorn - Horn Warband ("Iron")

In the past, Oberon was infamously known for his many crimes against charr authority (including past warbands) for the sake of pursuing his own goals and ambitions, but there was conveniently never any evidence to make any charge stick. The main thing they have in common is being driven by his unbridled fury, if nothing else.

Sigmund Brighthorn - Horn Warband (Iron)

Despite all the adversity Sigmund faced in his life, from nearly being culled as a cub, to becoming the champion of a dragon that he is today, Sigmund always tried his hardest, welcoming all challenges with open arms, a smile, and a glint in his eye, Shimmer only captures a fraction of that optimism, plus, it works well with his gorgeous crystal horns, doesn't it?

Cassius Witherpaw - Smoke Warband. (Ash)

Originally, the accurate name was Smokepaw, it was a testament to his ability to sneak around unnoticed, the change to Wither came about when the same disability that ailed Sigmund began to manifest itself in Cassius' body. He chose it as a way to constantly remind himself what he's fighting to prevent, for himselves and others.

Dusty Wanderhorn, formerly Patroklos Dawnbringer - Horn Warband, formerly Dawn Warband. (Iron, previously Blood)

Wander was chosen because Gaius found him wandering around the Crystal Desert lost and confused with no memory of who he once was. In the past, before he fell into the Mist, Bringer was chosen as he was his warband's fearless leader, not just for them, but any charr that was lucky enough to work with him.

Vashir Stormspotter - Storm Warband (Blood)

As it says on the tin, a humble name, Vashir was always the perfect scout as a cub, being in places he shouldn't have been, learning things he maybe shouldn't, and above all, never letting anything slide past him, which would be a valuable skill for his sniper antics.

ok lore question for people with charr characters because ir eally want to know: what is their surname, what warband are they apart of, and what meaning does the surname have?

Nova neighs happily! Somehow appearing in Ionia as he licks Qadira's hand. He takes out her Snowdown gift, a tiny Furyhorn which looks like Goldie, wearing a 'pa'u', and if winded, would dance the traditional Paraline dance!

Cait sends happy holidays!

Surprised by the gift, Qadira chuckled and pat the stellacorn affectionately as a thank you.

Oberon Furyhorn is undertaking a covert operation for Ash Legion, he decided to hire Aereth and his warband to serve as his cover, Blood is good at being distractions! However, how confident would the Blades feel about being trusted with a potentially majorly important and delicate operation like this?

It all depends on how much they are told! They're blood through and through, they won't feel too bothered about being recruited to fight something, but they usually do like knowing what their target is and what they do that fighting for.

Aereth himself might be huffy about being pulled out of his office for this, but it's good to have him on standby. The rest is ready to go whenever.

Atticus *might* feel like attempting something to get some more information on what they're doing out of Oberon. Be it try and appeal to a sense of camaraderie from their joined op or turning on the charm. Maybe also just a good ol attempt at roughing him up a bit.

He mumbles something about not taking bets from trolls, or making sure you build your home to be fire proof. At least that's probably what he said, he seemed to be mumbling REALLY hard.

"My mother is the most important person in the world for me, I strive to be like her, and I follow in her footsteps as best as I can..." She doesn't mention that she hasn't seen her mother in forever. And as for her father? She can feel the love she had for him...but can't remember his voice.
