A/N: ofc!! I wasn’t sure if you wanted Romantic or platonic, so some may be more specific to romantic relationships while some may lean more platonic to cover bases:3

Fujin headcannons

He’s more than likely to hesitate in going beyond anything than friendship. After all, he’s a god and you’re a mortal

Fujin understands better than most the shackles of a mortal life time. He’s lost plenty of good friends to the sands of time, and it hurts his heart to know in what is the blink of an eye for him is a lifetime for you

So when the line of friendship is crossed, he tries to spend as much time with you as he can, but ends up coming off as anxious and distracted

At first he focuses on making memories and keeping you as happy as possible amd placating you. This upsets you since you interpreted this as him sees you as a child

One very long and very important talk later though, it’s better (mostly). Sometimes he’s a bit more gentle with you compared to others, but he doesn’t mean to!

You’re just so…you! And he wants to cherish you!!

Eventually feelings grow and change, and despite what I’ve seen others say I think he’d actually start giving you the cold shoulder. This is all boils down to you being a mortal, and his own growing fears that he’ll lose you before he could ever truly cherish you the way you deserve

You confront him about him ignoring you, and confess you think he’s doesn’t like you and thinks you’re weird. He’s appalled, and instantly spilling his guts

“I have lost many mortal friends to times endless ticking. I feared losing you too, and I still do. I ignore you because I fear your own inevitable end as a human. And it is not to say I do not adore you, because I do—“ you get the idea

Once you enter a relationship, it’s not totally different from actually being friends he’s just more affectionate

Like he’ll make you breakfast in the morning and kiss your forehead muttering “Good morning, my darling one”

He LOVES holding you in his arms btw

Fujin loves holding you because he’s committing you and your shape to memory. Every curve every crevice is being painted in his mind while his hands wander over your back

He traces your spine up and down while he commits the way your breath brushes over his collarbones to memory, or he takes your hands in his and just holds them. Holds them so one day when he can have the feeling of your hands in his, fingers interlocked in his mind forever

When you sleep he makes you sleep on the side furthest away from the door (just in case) while he sleeps with his back to the door

And btw when you’re dating him you are his favorite person ever

He loves hearing you talk, no matter how much or how little you do talk, he loves it. Your voice could be as loud or as soft as you want, he loves it. Don’t know anything about Kombat? Great! He loves hearing you talk about your interests or the new movie coming out

At some point he does insist you learn at least a little self defense,but other than that he keeps you very much separate from the part of his life that his brother Raiden is heavily involved in

Not to say he won’t introduce you to them if you ask! But he prefers to keep you away from them for your safety, if you insist on learning more about Kombat he’ll take you to meet some of them and set up a training schedule

But when all is said and done, and when you two are alone is where Fujin is truly happy. Don’t get him wrong, he loves his brother and cares for his friends but he when he’s with you he doesn’t have to worry about fighting or anything of the sort

When you two are alone he’s at peace, because he doesn’t have to worry about appearances or Kombat

He’ll watch you read your book, or watch TV, or what you’re doing he’s cuddled up beside you watching you lovingly

Because who is Fujin if not a man who loves his S/O????

— Fujin’s love for the human spirit is undying, and it only grows more when he came across you for the first time.

— You interested him, and you interested him a lot. What is a… Punk? He’s always known it an insult, but why were you calling yourself that? Were you evil?

— His personality is able to sift through your chaotic one, and he actually finds himself seeking you out just to hear you/your thoughts

— He doesn’t mind a chaotic personality, as he’s met humans with a plethora of different personalities. He just needs to learn when and how to talk you away from those reckless moments when the situation is dire and dangerous.

— Would jump to your defense but apologize for you when you got mouthy with a judgy rule-obedient Raiden.

— He’s the one who asked for no pickles, you’re the one who tells them he asked for no pickles. If that makes any sense lol

— Even though he usually has such a high tolerance for humans indiscriminate of who they are, he can see why the scene of punk is the way it is. Injustices are everywhere.

— Eventually, you two become really close, close enough that one day you casually introduce him to The Ramones, Sex Pistols and The Clash.

It’s a new sound, to him, but he doesn’t hate it at all. He’d actually sometimes make a mental note of the song name when you tell him, and sometimes ask if you could play it.

— When/if you two eventually started dating, he would sow something onto your battle vest. It’ll remind you of him, he says, and it does. He would hang a cuff or something of yours on his belt in turn.

“Fujin, have you seen my vest? The one I always wear,” you frustratedly lifted a pillow, before throwing it down. You almost cuss—you’ve been looking for an hour and you’ve got places to be.

Innocently does he look over his shoulder with it in hand. He lifts it, “This?”

“Yes, that,” your gaze wishes to turn into a glower at him, but you don’t find the will. He lets you find his work yourself, even if embroidery doesn’t really go with the style of it.

— If you do your hair up with a lot of gel/spray, then he’d attentively watch and, boldly one day, ask to try it. Even if he doesn’t do it perfectly, the gesture is tooth-rotting sweet.

If you shave or cut your hair, he would be the type to notice when you do… And ask if you did something new with your hair. The slightest change can prompt the question, so that there’s a chance to flatter you.

If you are in a band, he would do his best to support you from afar; his presence alone could offset the entire room, making it hard to blend in.

— Make him a battle vest. It’ll look ridiculous on him in contrast to what he normally wears, but he’ll keep it bedside or when he needs something to think back on. If you’re cold, he’ll give it to you again. He smiles sometimes at it.

— Punk!Fujin? He’d be so absorbed into the scene and the meanings behind things that he occasionally begins to know more than you. Unbeknownst to you though, it’s all to impress you... ❤︎

— But getting into fights and protests so often makes him worry for you. He’d try not to make it into an argument about your safety knowing how you are but he’d help you learn a new thing or two to defend yourself (to help him more than you, really).

He could be talking to his brother, and you could be in the room for an approximately 4 MILISECONDS and for all those 4 milliseconds he is looking at you. It gets him teased by literally everyone even Liu Kang, and its not like he consciously does it his eyes are just drawn towards you and he try’s to stop but how can he when you just look so perfect?

•Bro remembers everything about you. And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. You could tell him about how you tripped on a rock in September 8th 1987 and then 3 years later you guys could be on a stroll together and he will just move you to the side before referencing the fact you tripped... IN 1987

•Talking about strolls in the little free time he has he likes to spend it with you, even if its just like 5 minutes. Any time spent with you is still time spent with you so it’s a win in his books. Just a big quality time guy overall and also probably an act of service guy to. Your favorite training dummy ripped? He fixed it don’t worry. You lost something? He’s actively trying to find it to, just for your convenience.

•Actively seeks out your opinion, if it was anyone else, he would take it with a grain of salt but when it comes to you? His lover? He takes that at face value. He likes to think that you know him best, that you know things he didn’t even know about himself. Its like a second him that knows him on a more intimate level.

•Definitely takes you out stargazing with him, he always finds the outworld stars pretty even if he has lived under them for thousands and thousands of years he still finds them breathtaking, and seeing your happy expression makes you seem more breathtaking then the moon and stars in that moment to him.

•He just wants to see you happy, and he will do anything to see that smile grace your pretty lips, even if its laughing at Kung Lao and his ego, he will remember what makes you chuckle or just makes you smile. Its not like he would crack the jokes himself he just likes to know more about you and what you like, so yes, he would let you ramble on and on about your newest interest if it meant seeing you happy

•seeing you get along with Fujin, Liu Kang and Kung Lao just makes him happy because those are people, he considers close and family. So, its like his little “family” likes you and that just makes him all warm and fuzzy inside.

•Talking about warm things I think he runs hot, not as hot as like Hanzo but pretty warm. And if you run cold then it just gives an excuse to hold and touch you. He quickly pulls you off and you start to get even more furious. Kung Lao has NEVER seen you this mad before.

You push him off and you quickly walk away, leaving Kung Lao in shock.

Liu Kang

Like Kung Lao and Fujin, Liu Kang also likes your gentleness and peacefulness.

You stood with him, even as he become ‘Lord Liu Kang.’ aka. ‘God of Fire.’

So, when he choose Kitana over you, you became.. extremely angry.

Kitana, peacefully sipping tea, yells in shock and pain, as you forcefully grab her hair and throw her to the ground. You start beating her with force, yelling profanity at her.

Liu Kang, who had heard Kitana’s screams, rushed over towards y’all and he grabs you and pushes you off, telling you to calm down.

You turned around and slapped him, repeating his words in a furious manner. With a hurt and angry look on your face, you sped-walked away, not looking back.

Nightwolf

Same deal for Nightwolf; He was attracted to your gentle demeanor and started to date you.

You, however, felt Nightwolf has been a bit distance lately so you decided to visit him.

.. Do you know how FURIOUS you were when you saw another girl kissing Nightwolf?

Without thinking, you punched the girl, causing her to fall on the floor and you get on top of her, continuing to punch her.

Nightwolf quickly grabs both your arms and pulls you back, shook by your newfound behavior.

Nightwolf tries to calm you down, but you don’t want to hear none of it and you walk away, angry with Nightwolf.

in this coconut head of mine here are some music headcannons i have:

-Johnny Cage is easily a swiftie and attends the eras tour with Cassie and makes bracelets

-he also was hugely into the Spice Girls (younger Johnny), that man knows spice up your life by heart

-Sonya is into more 70's classic rock. Catch her listening to Clapton.

-Kabal listens to punk music, but also hardcore rap. One minute The Casualties, next Mobb Deep

-Erron also listens to jazz on top of country, I cannot be convinced he doesn't

-Kano likes mainstream metal bands (megadeth, slayer, judas priest) and unironically sea shanties

- Kitana likes more indie leaning music (beabadoobee, Sir Chloe, men i trust) but doesn't talk about it. Only shares this with Liu Kang, who does not know a lick of mainstream music.

-Fujin likes indie as well, but more on the side of Porter Robinson.

-I feel like somehow if you exposed Liu Kang to every genre, he'd take a liking to Europop. Also would like Post Malone.

-Mileena listens to bimbocore music. Y2K music is a must. Ayesha Erotica remixes all day for her.

-Nitara likes specifically female-lead rock bands: Runaways, Kittie, Babes in Toyland

-Jacqui Briggs is a phoebe bridgers and sza stan.

-Kung Lao really likes mac miller, and I cannot explain why I believe this.

-Raiden listens to podcasts rather than music

Raiden Headcannons (and a little date scenario) FLUFFY

For @bluntsandblondes this is Raidens part I’ll be working on Johnnys too. I’m sorry it took so long!😭

When you two Lay down together your head is usually on his chest and he’ll be holding your side.

You like laying right on top of him though because of how comfortable he feels.

Raiden will play with your hair without realizing it. And when you bring it up he doesn’t know what your talking about and looks towards his hand to see a strand of your hair twirled around his fingers.

Poor baby get embarrassed and apologizes but you find it as a loving act and tell him you actually like it and so he continues to do it.

He’s a very busy man but will still try to make time for you. Whether it’s having tea or going to you at night to help you sleep. He does anything he can to make up the time he’s lost not being there

One time he asked fujin if could watch over everything for a day so he could spend it with you.

He showed up on your doorstep with flowers (Johnny told him that gifting flowers is a good way to start a date😉).

He took you the marketplaces and you walked around looking at all the beautiful artwork and jewelry and Raiden got you anything you wanted.

“A person of beauty such as yourself should be covered in beautiful jewelry as well”

Then you two went to the hot springs and resting your body’s in the water from all the walking you two did. Raiden was holding you the whole time. And maybe some other spicy things happened too hehe.

He ended the the night with taking you the top of the mountains and putting on a beautiful lightning show on for you. He brought blankets and pillows so you two could sit comfortably. He wanted everything to be perfect and it absolutely was.

You told him how you loved his lightning and how it made you feel safe. After that comment Raiden would have a couple of soft lighting strikes near your home every night as a reminder to let you know he’s still watching over you.

He loves you so much and he loves how understanding you are. He wishes to marry you someday and make you his forever.💙

Can I have headcannons about Mileena, Fujin, Nightwolf and Kitana with S/O who has anxiety?

Mileena

When Mileena learned of her’s S/O anxiety, She felt sad too. She wanted to help her S/O in any way possible.

Offering her S/O gifts and delicious food to lessen her S/O’s anxiety. That helps a little, But Mileena won’t stop until she will talk about it with her S/O.

Once her S/O had talked about their anxiety and how they feel, they felt better, because they have someone to talk to.

Mileena is listening to them without being bored, she is just happy that her S/O talks freely, and she is smiling while her S/O is talking, Eventually, her S/O thanks her and hugged for listening to them. After a while, Mileena’s S/O overcome their anxiety, and Mileena couldn’t be happier.

Fujin

When Fujin discovered that his partner has anxiety, At first he let them talk about their anxiety and how they feel, Fujin is a good listener, he listened to his S/O without being annoyed or bored, if anything, he is happy when his S/O trust him and talk with him.

Every time his S/O feels anxious, Fujin tells them to talk about it, they talk with him and feel much better, but sometimes Fujin thinks that talking isn’t enough. So he went to the Jinsei chamber, took a small portion of it, and made a potion for their S/O whenever they feel anxious, in time, that helps their S/O to overcome anxiety, He can’t be happier.

Nightwolf

When Nightwolf knows of his S/O anxiety, he asked them to talk about it, from his experience, talking helps a lot, So they did, they talk about how they feel, they have someone who trusts and that is Nightwolf, Nightwolf is listening to them with keen interest, He cares about his S/O, His S/O are happy that they have the opportunity to talk about how their anxiety, express their emotions.

In the end, Nightwolf gives them a few tips, Avoid drinking too many caffeinated beverages, have a sleep priority, lastly, stay physically active. They listened to him and do the tips he told them, in the end, they overcome their anxiety and thanked Nightwolf for the useful advice.

Kitana Kahn

The moment Kitana knew of her S/O's anxiety, she took it into her hand to help her S/O no matter what, she can’t stand her S/O being troubled by the anxiety, so she asked her councilors for solutions.

They answered with a multiple of advice, Including, Staying healthy, doing exercise, Having enough sleep, Eating healthy, and such, But the most important thing is that they talk about, they must have someone to talk to.

Kitana told her S/O of the advice, and Her S/O agreed to do the advice, But, Kitana said to her S/O must talk about it, there must be someone who listens, Her S/O agreed and talked about their anxiety and how they feel, Kitana listens with keen interest and with a smile on her lips.

In the end, Her S/O gets better and overcome the anxiety they have, They thanked Kitana for her help.

Regressor Fujin Hcs pt 2

☁️ Will hide behind his brother when the monks ask him a question or interact with him

☁️ Not necessarily because the monks are mean or scary when he's small, but he's a bit nervous some times and Raiden makes every problem go away

☁️ ^ Also did y'all know Raidens like 7'ft in that timeline??

☁️ Discovered regression through his time with the mortals and introduced it to the others at the Storm Temple

☁️ Was actually the one that made Raiden realize that he really enjoyed watching regressors, and encouraged Liu Kang and Kung Lao to try it out

☁️ Fujin calls him Bubba and the others call him Grandpa Rai Rai

☁️ Fujin called Raiden 'Grandpa' once and Raiden pouted for 3 days

☁️ I actually adore the Storm Brothers (platonically of course)

☁️ I feel like he'd call Nightwolf more of a caregiver name, like Dada or Papa (I love Windwolf)

☁️ One of his favorite activities is having his hair brushed

☁️ ^ Would absolutely squeal if you braided flowers into his hair like that one Repunzle scene

☁️ And show it off to EVERYONE, he's so proud of it and might cry when he has to take them out

☁️ Just promise to do it again and he'll most likely calm down

☁️ Will hold you up to that promise though, maybe even when he's big

☁️ Has a pacifier that he mostly only uses when he gets ‘eepy

☁️ It's baby blue and has a cute white cloud and a bunch of white little gem stones

☁️ One of his favorite memories while regressing was when Johnny watched him and Fujin

☁️ Would be an IPad baby if he could but only really binges movies when he gets really sad or regresses smaller

☁️ Favorite franchise is Studio Ghibli!! Absolutely loves every single one of their movies!!

☁️ But also really likes regressing outside because it's nice and he can run around and have fun

☁️ Also really enjoys picnics and Kung Lao and Liu Kang will pack really yummy food for him!!

Do you have any aro and/or ace headcannons for MK? I’m personally partial to aroace Kitana and I don’t see a lot of headcannons of that type

I have some! For Kitana, I'm conflicted. Mostly because I like Liutana and believe she is genuinely attracted to him. She probably has a lot of conflicted feelings about said attraction though. Shao Kahn did raise her to be emotionally distant, but even without that, she doesn't seem like the type to seek out intimacy. If she were to get in any kind of a relationship the other person would have to initiate it, so I'd keep her in the unlabeled gray area. On the other hand I can't see mk1 Kitana in a relationship 😭 maybe that'll change when she gets more screen time.

Raiden, to me, is sex and romance repulsed. As a god and earthrealm's protector, he doesn't see the point in such things and avoids it when he can. I have a crack headcanon that when he was a young god (around 100 or so and wasn't earthrealm's protector yet) he gagged at a sex god and had to apologize. Fujin has yet to let him live it down. Mk1 Raiden is still sex repulsed but I imagine him to be cupioromantic.

Kung Jin is demiromantic and allosexual. I feel as if he goes out of his way to disconnect the two and distances himself to avoid possibly falling in love and tries to keep non-platonic relationships strictly sexual. (That internalized homophobia is beating his ass 😭 it's okay Jin go get a boyfriend!)
