Jason isn’t anti-sex for puritanical reasons, he kills people having sex bc (spoilers for a movie from 1980) when he was a kid at camp his camp counselors were too busy having sex to notice that he was drowning and then he drowned. I like to think that he would murder anyone with a public safety/caretaking profession who was allowing themselves to be distracted by a personal hobby while on the job. Crossing guard reading a horoscope while first graders run into traffic, preschool teacher looking up sports scores while three year olds choke on glue and glitter, health inspector checking Instagram while ignoring mold growing in a restaurant walk-in, etc, he’d happily take a machete to all of them

everyone is always like "jason kills people who have premarital sex because the movies support conservative values" or "jason kills people who have premarital sex because the movies are criticizing conservative values"

why is it never "why do people keep having sex near the cursed lake with the undead guy" or "how can we be so sure that he only targets couples having premarital sex and not just sex in general, what if it's just sampling bias"
