I can't believe we got a cawk plushie before Sylus' second bond story etc....

Every few weeks Paperfold create new Twinkle Toys plushies and release a schedule for them.

The main story gets updates anywhere ranging from every few months to every six months, with the quality at least for branched stories dipping noticeably. No roadmaps or schedules released.

And Sylus... man, Sylus... the way they handle him is atrocious. They love to use him in marketing and advertisements to reel people in (with great success). But beyond that 💀. After more than eight months most of his standard content is still locked away in Paperfold's basement with no release date or roadmap in sight. As for his affinity cap — level 130 — some Whales are fast approaching it. Only two or so more levels to go. And yet... Paperfold still show no signs of increasing the cap. That is so shitty. Like what are these Sylus mains supposed to do once they reach 130? What is there for them to look forward to or work towards? As it stands, the game will be pretty much unplayable for them. After all the time and money they've sunk into the game, this is how they're rewarded. Makes me pissed and sad on their behalf. Paperfold need to do something about this ASAP. Release a statement, at the very least. It'd cost them nothing and would ease more than a few minds and hearts. All we want is for them to acknowledge us and Sylus, to show us they care even a little about either...

EDIT: I am now seeing that some have already REACHED the Cap. Meaning that any affinity they gain from here on out will be WASTED since there are no more levels to put them into. What the fuck are you DOING, Paperfold!?!?

Additionally, even with the cap REACHED, we are STILL missing out on almost 39,000(!!!!) affinity points due to the missing 4 stars and bond etc.

I hate this fucking company.

#so i finished. feels like they did not put a lot of thought into shiro or hunk's epilogue lmfao #overall i dont think it was Bad. it could have been better yknow. but again. it feels like they just needed a little extra time to breathe #in development. it's just bones.#i do think perhaps some of the criticisms i have seen of it are just from people pissing on the poor #i could fix her!!! ough i really do want to rewrite this sdnfksjfd but that would unfortunately require. having to watch this again #and i cant do that in 24 hours #im so sad this is disappearing. this is the only show for which i ever stayed up for the midnight PST release #back when only season 1 and maybe 2? were out i used to watch them constantly. sometimes in spanish to practice #like i wouldnt have ever finished without the threat of it leaving but this is the worst timing to reawaken my affection for it lmao #grateful for it. wish i hadnt waited so long #i did need time to forget the insanity tho bc if i had made myself keep going and finish at the time #it would have poisoned the ending i think. nice to finally watch those last 4-5 episodes with a fresh perspective #but at the same time this is How Many Years ive missed out on being able to talk about it lmao #maybe there is a renaissance. idk i havent looked into it too much but i guess i should now huh #we'll see if things are any different or if it's just the same shit i got tired of the first time around #but anyway. the show is still fun and i enjoyed it for the most part. very sad to see it go #mine #voltron

I do kind of hope a series gives us a Megatron and Optimus with a “strangers to respected enemies/rivals to potentially more (at least in the fanfics)” sort of dynamic

Because I feel like that doesn’t really happen, at least not to my knowledge. I feel like if Megatron has a respect for Optimus, it’s usually due to their long, shared history, not something that develops over the course of the series

And I know some people say that’s what happens in TFA, but no, it really doesn’t. The two never reach the “respect” part, with Optimus hating Megatron for being an evil villain, and Megatron seeing him as a nuisance at best and never bothering to learn his name, only calling him it once like 2 minutes after being told it earlier in the fight, which I think in context doesn’t really count for much

I just feel like it’d be neat to properly explore, especially since I’m realizing we seem to have it fairly consistently be that they were “old friends” for a while now, let’s shake it up a little
