Official Trailer
"The Watchful Eye" will air Monday, January. 30 with a two-episode premier starting at 9:00 p.m. before shifting to the usual 10 p.m. time slot. The show will follow Elena Santos, played by Mariel Molino an 18-year-old woman with a unsettling past. She is trying to navigate her way into becoming an nanny living in the home of wealthy family members in Manhattan. It quickly becomes apparent all the people living in the house has dangerous secrets and a motive. What they aren't aware of but is that Elena is hiding an unsettling secret about her own.
Review:
"The Watchful Eye' starts off well when a wealthy lady commits suicide by jumping off of her apartment. After that, we observe that the patriarch conducting interviews with hundreds of nannies to be his son. Elena is chosen for the position however, we learn that she's worked with her boyfriend detective to achieve nefarious goals. The various characters in the high-rise apartment are slowly presented to us and many of them are intriguing and mysterious. The plot involving the basement of the building, which has a horror-themed tinge and is bizarre in its own in its own right, is a parallel story. There is a small chance it will get better and get more interesting with subsequent episodes, but from the two initial shows that streaming services released, there is the possibility that people are likely to stop watching after the first two. The plot of the show is handled in a monotonous manner and has the look and look of a telenovela Spanish soap operas on television.
If you mix the plot of 'Only murders within the building' with the 'Pretty Little Liars' series, the result is a horrible The Watchful Eye.' The final product could be enjoyable If more effort had been taken to remove the'soapy style of the show. The opening episode shows that Elena along with her boyfriend detective Scott are in search of an unidentified ruby, but there is no background information. The Greybourne family, with whom Elena is an nanny, is mysterious to the core and no details are given about them; there are no breadcrumbs to help solve all the pieces of puzzle. There's no reason provided to form an opinion regarding the character, regardless of whether the are decent or bad.
The Watchful Eye Season 1 Plot
The plot of the new TV show centers around Elena's life. One of the richest families in town has hired an intriguing young lady to serve as their nanny. She has the proper strings to join to the Mathews Family, but she doesn't smugly go through the process of becoming an nurse. But Elena has a mysterious past and her decision to be a nanny an integral part of her well designed plan to conceal her identity. As the story progresses the story becomes more complex. The character quickly realizes that she's not only capable of concealing her horrible background, but also permitting it to coexist.
Watchful Eye Season 1 Release Date:
According to the stories that that we have from the storyline fragments, The Watchful Eye series' release date is scheduled for the 30th of January. It's not a good idea to miss the launch to the show. It is possible to join an account before the show's debut on Disney on which it is possible to watch the show. The next series will be designed to steal Elena's story and reveal the secrets beneath.

i think what i admire most about this record after sitting with it for a full day is the marriage of its musicality and its lyricism.
lyrically..."nihilistic" is a really good way of putting it. i was honestly kind of floored by how goddamn bleak so much of the lyricism on this record is. there's so much desolation, so much hopelessness, so much struggling to find meaning in meaninglessness. lyrically, i think this might be some of pete's darkest but also some of his best work. there's so much grappling with the feeling that maybe it's all pointless. maybe none of it fucking gets better. maybe you're always going to be fighting to figure out some kind of sense and feeling displaced and the further you look toward the horizon, the more the inevitability of the end scares the living shit out of you.
so much (for) stardust is utterly desolate lyrically. even little granules of hope feel tongue-in-cheek or in denial. so...what? does anything ever get better? are we all just flailing around, trying to make our stupid lives make sense? but at the same time, fall out boy are the happiest they've ever been as a band. they waited five years so they could savor making this record and they were genuinely excited to share it with all of us. pete is wearing skirts and letting his hair down and they're playing songs that once got them booed off stage with fearless love in their eyes and they're looking after each others' mental health and supporting one another through it all. what does it mean for a band to release something this somber at this point in time for them?
the "reality bites" pink seashell speech sums it all up kind of perfectly. so maybe life is inherently meaningless, but at the same time...there's good food. there's beautiful weather. there are still good movies, and the sound of rain on the windows, and hope, and friendship, and joy. maybe there's no point. but that doesn't change that there's still laughter. there's still love.
and that's what's in the sound of this record. the big, cinematic swell of an orchestra. the upbeat chirps of a synth. the screeching of a guitar and some bouncy, catchy goddamn riffs that'll live under your skin for days. this is a record you dance to and cry to. (cry a little, cry a lot, but don't stop dancing, don't dare stop.) sonically, this is a record laden with grit and delight and a powerful sense of purpose, from catchy pop hooks to roaring, cinematic anthems. it sits in delicious contrast to the words but it doesn't undermine them. it complements them. happy music for sad people.
of course there's pain, and there's frustration, and the world is full of tragedy and hopelessness and maybe the worst part of it is that it doesn't go away once you grow up. as you get older, you don't ever magically learn how everything clicks together. you just have to fumble through it and hope for the best, even if it feels like it never gets any easier.
it's a hard lesson to learn. but you aren't alone in it. so what fates do we share? we're all stardust. we all share the same end. we are not alone in our fears and uncertainties and we will not be alone at the end either, not really. we came from stardust and to stardust we will return.
i think if there is a hope i can take away from this record it's like...this feeling that it doesn't get better, really. but you do get better at living with it, and to someone like me, that's vital. years ago i had to come to terms with the valuable, painful lesson that i will not, mentally, neurologically, ever get "better." there will never be a point where i am "cured" of all that i must live with. but i've grown better at living with it. and there are things out there that i'm living for anyway - good food, better friends, and maybe a long-anticipated record you need to put on replay for a good long while as you soak it in.
maybe none of this matters, in the end. but if it doesn't, then this is what matters. this.
"if nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do."

Gideon being so obnoxious about how attracted to Harrow she is, sitting on the poolside while Harrow does her laps, just ABSOLUTELY losing her gourd.
"AWOOOGA!" and such, audibly barking. So embarassing. Yet, Harrow can't help but be pleased anyways.
Even if she's gonna try her damnedest to shove Griddle into the pool in revenge.

How the hell can someone actually call TotK objectively bad?
Actually trash opinion. Fucking what is objective about the idea it’s a bad game when, you know. Millions of people love it. That GENUINELY means that it is only “bad” subjectively, since many, many people would disagree.
Fuckin grow up? Nothing about the word objective is literally universally ordained to be true. Time to forget about this person and move on with my love for TotK & BotW <3
EVERYTHING IS SUBJECTIVE.
and I will! Yell! about it.

I ended up never watching the finale to this show even though I'm such a fan. At this point I know enough about it to not be stressed the whole time but part of me likes that, in my mind, it hasn't ended.
Yeah sure closure but like....no.

I started thinking that Disney Channel doesn't really have a programming block for their older audiences like Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, then I thought about how Freeform could be that since it is part of the Walt Disney Company.
All the shows I included on the list have all been cancelled, couldn't make it past the first or second season, ended on a cliffhanger, or removed entirely from the service.
People have watched and grew up with Blossom, The Facts of Life, Boy Meets World, The Wonder Years (1988), Saved by the Bell (1989), The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Family Matters, Family Ties, Full House, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, etc., so I thought "What would be this generation's version of those shows?" for most of the programming.
I haven't seen most of these shows I listed, but I wanted to include a variety of shows for the audience even if some of them are syndicated on other channels.
Freeform original programming (by me)
Diary of a Future President (Disney+)
Gordita Chronicles (Max)
Mixed-ish (ABC)
The Wonder Years (2021) (ABC)
Saved by the Bell (2020) (Peacock)
Big Shot (Disney+)
Schooled (ABC)
Mr. Mayor (NBC)
The Big Leap (Fox)
Rutherford Falls (Peacock)
How I Met Your Father (Hulu)

The demon had never felt so free.
No Angel, no Angelus, no echo of Liam, just pure and raw freedom.
It hasn't been like this since before it inhabited its host, flexing hands before launching at the insignificant thing trying to harm it. The body tore so easily, its blood giving the demon the power it craved to continue fighting, to explore and take whatever it wanted. Soon the things were dead and drained, the pounding heartbeat behind it soon drawing the demon's attention.
It's a small thing, human the word comes to it, and the demon approaches it with teeth bared. Yet, as it sniffs the human who trembles with wide eyes focused on its own, the demon pauses. It smells afraid yet trusting, something that nudges something the demon thought was long gone, and it reaches for the human.
No, this one wasn't to be hurt.
Angling its head, the demon can hear two new hearts beating not far away, so it runs, leaving the human behind without a backwards glance. The hearts belong to two more of these humans, their scents familiar as the demon hunts its prey, which only excited the possibility of the kill. The one with hair seems to sense it, tensing in alarm as the demon stalks closer before launching from its perch with a loud roar, jumping between the two so they were forced to separate. Their hearts beat with fear yet the resolve of a warrior, and the demon snarls in delight at the challenge that lay ahead, flexing clawed hands as it tried to choose which to lunge at first. The one with the hair stumbles over and falls, and the demon goes for the easier prey first, only to be stopped a few steps away by a rock hitting its head, snarling as it turns to the other human with a murderous look.
"It's Angel!"
The demon pounces on the one that had hit him, the human surprisingly strong at keeping its teeth from his neck, despite its arm being slashed in the struggle.
It stops when it suddenly smells so much blood, so much nectar that couldn't be ignored.
It's the small human, her hand covered in the nectar the demon wanted, her eyes focused on its own with a calm sort of courage. The demon cocks its head to the side for a moment before slowly going towards the ambrosia, the two humans forgotten as it follows like a trained dog for its supper. The human keeps a steady gait backing away from the demon, coating her hand over and over with blood as they travel through woods and to a clearing, the cave's darkness calming the demon as it relished in the environment it was made for, away from the light. She's as far away as she can go, the little human, and the demon slowly gets closer with a soft snarl before some water below grabs its attention.
It sees itself for the first time, and knows it's wrong.
The demon isn't supposed to be here, no, it's supposed to guard the one whose body it had taken. Angel, Angel is supposed to wear the face and not the demon, and it claws at the barrier until Angel shoots past it, surfacing while the demon sunk below the surface.
The freedom had been intoxicating, but the demon knows it wasn't supposed to be, so it watches as Angel falls back in horror, unable to cope with what he had seen. It rumbles in support as the small human drags Angel off the floor when he's grown exhausted, setting him in her bed and tending to his wounds, and the noise is enough to nudge Angel into the abyss.
It knows Angel will help his friends, so the demon will do as it always does, protect the body no matter the cost.

“Loss is in our nature, but not death.”
In the comics, Loki achieves immortality. In the MCU sacred timeline, every time the writers tried to kill him off, they had to bring him back because the fans wouldn’t let him die. In the Loki series, Loki and Sylvie (another Loki variant who survives eternal ruination) have a conversation about how they are unkillable while waiting for an inevitable death that never comes. I see three poetic ends: irony, where Loki and Sylvie end as they began and die hand in hand as they should have on Lamentis one, as this time even love cannot save them; tragedy, where Loki survives eternity while Sylvie is lost to time, proving she is not a Loki after all; continuity, where Loki and Sylvie transcend death and time until the multiverse and it’s branches like Yggdrasil braid with the veins under their skin.
