Guys I made a discovery!! (Spoilers for EP 4 and EP 9 of Protocol)

I’ve been re-listening to all the current protocol episodes with my grandma over spring break (me and her have been listening to tma together for 2 years) and I think I noticed something that I haven’t seen anywhere else. In episode 4 when Augustus is reading the statement about the hunger violin, the statement mentions a few things the stranger has in is sack along with said violin

When I heard gamblers dice be read my jaw dropped to the floor!! there is no doubt this stranger was carrying around the dice from episode 9: Rolling with it. Because of this tie-in I think this strange trinket man will be a recurring avatar. My guess is he will take a similar rolls as Salesa, dealing in cursed artifacts that were gifted power by the entities.

Just in case it comes back here’s a list of all the stuff mentioned to be in the Trinket man’s sack

Fine jewelry (this one is kind of vague tbh )

Ivory figures

I’m guessing because the dice are mentioned with extra emphasis, we won’t see anymore of the for mentioned items but you never know

Sam totally got his leg amputated just so Freddy could try human flesh. It’s not like it was amputated way before he even started working at the oiar. Anyway Freddy needed to prove a point and now that point is proved.

I think Freddy is sentient and actively trying to date the cast. Is this true? Probably not. But I have convinced myself that this is cannon.

Ok I have been workshopping this tmagp theory for a bit because I am very passionate about it and as time goes on I really feel like it could be viable.

Fredi is more important than we think. I mean yeah, you could probably guess that already. However, I think it is important because I think Fredi is pretending to be Chester, Norris, and Augustus. I think Fredi is like a thing that is wearing the remnants of these people. "But the email from Jon," Fredi could easily just pretend to be Jon and send an email, an internal email specifically. I don't think our jmart and Jonah are in the computer, I think the program knows them in some way and is using them as masks. Narratively, I think the fact it's Jon, Martin, and (probably) Jonah's voices is a bit of a red herring. Like it's a misdirection so you focus on "omg it's the blorbos!" and not even consider the thing powering the blorbos.

Think about it, it goes with everything that has been said about this show: It keeps jmart's fate ambiguous, it touches on the idea that this show is about what makes a human a human (Fredi trying to be a person by taking on the identities of real people, would that make it a person?), Fredi could just pull a Jonah voice from thin air or has some outer knowledge about it, it would explain why Fredi has a name (I feel like it having a name gives it some form of character), and it's way less sad than everyone getting sergei ushanka-ed.

This is a bit of a crack theory, it really has no firm evidence, but like it just makes so much sense to me lol.

Magnus Protocol Analysis/Theory Board (S1 Ep 1-4)

Hi welcome to our blog! Basically me and my roommate are huge Magnus fans and have decided to track the story of Magnus protocol and theorize with actual red string evidence board (pictured below)

while we were in the process of making this we started thinking it would be super cool to involve the TMA fandom in theorizing and dissecting TMAGP lore as it unfolds. So we snagged arguably the best name for a tumblr blog and we’ll start posting a digitized version of the theory board that will update whenever a new episode releases.

We’ll also be posting people thoughts and theories from the ask box so feel free to info dump and we’d love to share it and chat about it I’m hoping this blog will be a hub for TMAGP fans to discuss lore and breakdown episodes because I desperately need a place to organize my thoughts

This is going to be very long so here���s a cut

Ok so. In my mind, he’s a sentient little goober. He said screw the ‘robots can’t feel love’ trope, and proceeded to fall in love with everyone in the OIAR. Anyway he has absolutely no idea what he’s doing at any given time but he knows the following: fear tastes good, I love everyone here, and mischief is fun. As such, he enjoys freaking people out a bit, and causing a bit of mayhem here and there. He’ll give people talkers at very inconvenient times, trip people with his wires, and generally be a nuisance. All in good fun of course. Since he loves the people at the OIAR, if they were to ask him sincerely to stop doing something, he would infact listen, however, no one has don’t that yet.

When no one is in the office he plays computer games on himself, like solitare, snake, minesweeper, ect. Cool Math Games is his best friend when it comes to satisfying his boredom in day hours. Other things he does other than computer games, is doing things he knows will annoy Colin, like rearranging wires in the server room.

One time he tried to download a virus on himself to see what would happen and decided that it was not in-fact a fun thing. Since colin was the one who fixed it, Freddy took that like someone taking care of you when you when you’re sick in bed. Because of this, Freddy is most keen to try to flirt with Colin. Attempts at doing so thus far have not been successful.

On the other hand there’s Alice, who regularly flirts with Freddy in a haha joking way (or atleast that’s what she’s telling herself for now) and even though she isn’t doing it seriously, it’s still highly effective on Freddy. And not just that, but whenever shes the only one working, and she’s slacking off, she’ll infodump her interests towards Freddy. So those are the reasons he loves her so far.

Sam has this odd thing he started doing out of habit about a week after working at the OIAR. Atleast once a week he’ll find some sort of trinket, and leave it on top of his desk monitor. The trinkets range from pennies from off the ground to cool rocks he found. Every time he does this, the next day it’s gone. Sam thinks it’s one of the other OIAR employees taking them, but little does he know that it’s Fr3-d1 and FR3-d1 cherishes each and every one of these little offerings, storing them in a drawer somewhere in the server room.

Nothing for Celia yet. Haven’t really thought about it much, and she hasn’t been here long enough to have much association with Freddy other than knowing the origin of the voices.

Lena and Freddy have a long history. They actively talk to eachother, and have a sort of situationship going on. Maybe they try to like, jumpscare eachother or something. Lena was his first kiss but it was literally the most awkward thing ever so they have never brought it up again, only vaguely alluding to it as ‘The Incident’.

Like Celia I haven’t really thought about Gwen much in terms of Freddy, but I imagine Freddy likes to scare her the most out of everyone. My basis for this is him giving her a bonzo casement right after a traumatic experience with bonzo.

Anyway now for the logistics of my Freddy design.

So, Freddy can move wires and stuff around because they are a part of him, so he takes advantage of this fact to form a vaguely humanoid shape. A lot of the non wire pieces were either gifts from Lena, Sam, Klaus, or are just random pieces he found lying around that no one was using. He only really does this around Lena as he wants to try to actually make contact with the others without it first.
