Character Name: Najwa (she/her)

Aliases: Naj, "The Unstoppable Smiling Boomerang"

Profession: Part-time jeweler, full time hero.

Apparent Age: A young adult--for her kind, anyway.

Appearance: A Draenei of average height and weight who carries herself with a levity that makes her dark scaled gladiatorial and praetorian armor appear to weigh nothing. Thick black hair is drawn up tightly into high pigtails astride her curled horns, framing a round, cheerful face the color of a misty twilight. Her milk-hued eyes are bright and warm and complement a contagious smile.

She dons a blue cloak with a cheerful floral embroidery that comes down to her knees, and carries with her an old, but well cared-for sword and badge-shaped shield, pale silver, with a gold Argent sun worked into the metal.

Personality: Najwa is a joyful Draenei who befriends and trusts others easily, always seeing the best in them (even if it is not there). This bright aura of hope makes her appear undaunted by tragedy or failure, but it also often serves as a glaring weakness and can make her appear naive or dismissive of serious matters. The higher she hopes or trusts, the harder she falls when that hope or trust is broken, and the longer she takes to recover from that fall.

Childhood: Najwa was born to one of the last generations of Draenei to reach maturity before they were sent fleeing among the stars once more, this time for Azeroth. She grew up in the vast, sunny wilds of several worlds, where her family bred and trained their talbuk for the exarchs. In her youth, her true loves were reading and riding—and playing out the heroic adventures she read about with a vibrant imagination. One day as they brought talbuk to the city, she told one of the Exarchs she wanted to be a great paladin too one day. The paladin laughed at her—and so did her own father. She never spoke of her dream to any of her family again. It had been crushed.

Eventually as the need for healers increased, she was encouraged to seek High Priestess Ishanah and became a low-rank acolyte, assisting ordained priestesses with their work. She found the Light a stubborn talbuk to understand—and the day that it answered her in the slightest way was the day that the out-of-control Exodar crashed upon Azeroth.

Recent History: She awoke in a smoldering rescue pod that had shattered apart around her just after impact with the island’s soil, leaving her miraculously alive, if weak and with a concussion. Those dearest to her had not shared in that miracle.

It would be weeks until she remembered them, or her own name. Put to work as a healer despite her own injury and lack of experience, she held the hand of her sister as she died from corrupted crystal poisoning, not even remembering her. When it finally came rushing back, her grief overwhelmed her—and rather than facing it, she left on one of the first responding ships of the Alliance fleet on its return voyage to Stormwind. After all, so much of her life had been dictated by running desperately towards new harbors already. What was one more retreat?

Her wandering led her to Elwynn, where she offered her services in Northshire Abbey in exchange for learning everything all over again—how to call the Light, how to live in this new world, and with herself and all she had lost. She struggled with all of these. Then Sir Licter came for minor healing.

He was a seasoned human paladin, a soldier of the Alliance and the Argent initiative. They quickly kindled a strong friendship. His insight and confidence in her kept her from giving up, and her hopeful perspective began to color a world that had begun to seem gray to him. She followed him loyally, and they exchanged letters when they had to be apart. The relationship never surpassed a platonic nature, but she loved him more than Light itself.

When he was deployed to Northrend with the Crusade, and she had no choice but to remain in the Kingdoms, amongst her own responsibilities. The letters came less and less often. Then they stopped. Then one day, a crate with the Argent’s seal arrived, addressed to her—and within was Sir Licter’s sword and shield, still marred from battle. He had gone missing, the neatly penned form letter read, and was presumed dead or unfortunately worse. Licter had instructed to send her any remaining personal effects in such an event. The sword and shield were all that they found of him, in the killing fields of Icecrown.

She ran again, but this time towards the pain--to Northrend, determined to find him. It was there, standing her ground before a massive Scourge abomination with her dear friend’s sword and shield raised, that the Light finally answered her call with a roaring reply.

Much has happened since then. Najwa has not yet found Sir Licter, and knows she might not ever, but her training on the grounds of the Argent Tournament and serving the Crusade against both demonic and undead forces have reaped many benefits—she is stronger, faster, and deft in battle.

The Light grants her incredible strength and resilience so long that she holds it at the core of her heart’s hope—allowing her to keep surpassing her limits as to protect and fight for this beautiful world, and all that was dear to him.

Notable Trivia:

A promising up-and-comer in the Argent Crusade, once a star of their squire-league tournaments. She is also known by an arena name, "The Unstoppable Smiling Boomerang". She gets embarrassed when someone brings it up.

No surviving family members.

Usually Found: Lakeshire is one’s best bet to find Najwa on her downtime.

Strengths: Curious and compassionate, Najwa has a knack for rallying and befriending people. So long as hope thrives in her heart, she finds herself imbued with the Light’s strength and resilience in the face of danger and despair. No matter how many times she falls, she will (eventually) get up and try again. She never hesitates to put herself between danger and the endangered.

Weaknesses: The higher she hopes, she harder she falls and the longer it takes her to get back up. Without hope, her strength wanes. She has a record of figuratively and even literally running away from her problems (often into bigger ones) once reaching a breaking point. Najwa also struggles to understand that charging right into the fray isn’t always the best strategy.

She also can’t get enough puns and bad jokes, and can’t stop herself from trying to explain her own punchlines.

Crossover? (no cannon)

Primero, quiero decir que lo que voy a contar es referente a Given, y la versión naj de los personajes siguientes. Aviso que esto es algo random que contaré e imaginé mientras veía el capitulo 9 de Given en lo que escuchaba la canción de Mafuyu xd.

Después de escuchar y ver (y llorar ;-;), la canción de Sato en lo que leía la letra, y sigo escuchando la canción, por cierto xd. Se me vino la idea de las versiones naj de Fray y Mist, que ya desde antes a penas vi la serie, me imaginé a Fray como Mafuyu y a Mist como Uenoyama, no se por que, pero lo pensé con ellos XD. Bueno, volviendo al grano y poniéndome a pensar más sobre este crossover, como ya saben, Mafuyu le canta a su fallecido ex, y en eso pensé, que si Fray seria Mafuyu, a quien le cantaría?, e ahí en donde mi imaginación empieza a jugar:

; - Ahí Fray naj (Mafuyu), le cantaría a la versión naj de Akai (quien seria Yuki) - ; ya que bueno, Akai como sabemos, ya no existe por temas de la creadora así como la creadora de Letter (no entraré en detalles); - Bueno, la cosa es esa, que le cante y se expresé sobre todo el tiempo que estuvo con él y demás, y sobre el beso, pues, creo que es más que obvio que seria entre Mist naj y Fray naj - ;

Bueno, eso es lo que imaginé sobre todo este crossover que hice en mi cabeza, que les parece?, fue mucho?, creen que necesito ayuda profesional?, ahre eso no XD. Se que lo de Akai puede ser un tema delicado para algunos, pero por eso es que lo imaginé, al ser delicado, podría ser este tipo de cosas que son aun más delicadas; al pensarlo desde un principio ya con las versiones naj de Fray y Mist, se me vino esto a la mente, si Akai hubiera tenido una versión naj, creo que también seria lindo con Fray naj, no?.

Y asta aquí llega este testamento re largo que hice sobre el crossover que imaginé de Given y de las versiones naj XD, no se, me pareció interesante y decidí compartirselos, algún comentario sobre esto que tengan?, si quieren también puedo publicarlo en wattpad y ahí me dejan su opinión, comentarios, lo que quieran sobre esto y yo los leeré sin problemas, claro, cuando se me de el tiempo y eso, les responderé. 

Por cierto, una disculpa muy grande por no recordar los nombres de las versiones naj, en serio, lo siento ^.^u
