This beautifully scented climbing rose was creating a display in this front garden. It reminded me of Rosa multiflora (rambling rose) which has these masses of single, white flowers in large trusses on a vigorous, comparatively thornless stems with shiny foliage.

Dilmah Singapore is commemorating Singapore’s National Day with the launch of an exclusive, limited edition Singapura Orchid Ice Green Tea. The drink does taste pleasant with a nice flora fragrant to it though I can’t vouch for its authenticity since I have never eaten an orchid flower before. But this tea got the thumbs up from me, my sis and her friend.

The Ice Teas are available in six other artisanal flavours made with either a green or black tea base. The green tea series is elevated with three different flavours including the light Lady Lavender, sensual Rose & French Vanilla and aromatic Arabian Jasmine. While the black teas feature flavours such as Lemon & Lime, a timeless blend of citrusy twists, White Peach that recalls bright summery days with fruity peaches. Last but not least, there’s Royal English, a signature black tea that is smooth yet full-bodied with light veils of honey.

Rose and French Vanilla Ice Green Tea is Inspiringly aromatic with a medium bodied floral note, the flavour of rose with a hint of French vanilla combines with Ceylon Green tea in a perfect embrace. Elegant and sophisticated, a perfect afternoon or after dinner tea. florist roses having no scent is actually so messed up. we bred the roses to look "perfect" and last a long time and but they have lost The thing that people have loved them for the most for thousands of years. now when u smell a boquet of roses all you can smell is the chemical scent of plant food unless they're actual garden roses. there's a metaphor in here somewhere

hi pea!! i love your blog soo much and am also such a fan of your reviews on fragrantica 💝 so i wanted to ask: what’re your favorite fragrance notes and favorite perfumes based on those notes? :3 wishing you a great day!!

wahhhh thank you.....my reviews arent even anything special i dont conjure images well yet but im flattered....

despite having so many perfumes i feel like im still learning what my favourite notes are, i very often get caught up in what sounds good but i fail to really grasp the compatibility of the scents...or even what might have been compatible can be blended poorly.

my favourite notes im familiar with would have to be: honey, which ive found best encapsulated in Bee Ellis Brooklyn, jasmine, best in Gorgeous Jasmine Gucci (despite very sad longevity..), sweetened rose which sadly all the best looking ones ive found are hard to find or just hard to get in canada but Rose Gourmand Zara i do rather like, and i think i must love orange blossom cause its there in all the sweetest perfumes ive ever smelled (Paradoxe, Love Don't Be Shy, Made in Heaven, and D&G Devotion that i just ordered after loving it instantly in the store)

i need to get more familiar with milk, coffee, hay, and i think i could really love seaweed! i think its what lends that moldy smell to Sea of Gray Solstice Scents, and i actually love it so much. cant help it i have mold nostalgia!! im relating to animalic girlies now like yeah sometimes stuff stinks really good and its cozy.
