if i wanted to get into heaven and God said jonathan sims not waiting inside i would fistfight every single demon for the sole purpose of getting him sent back up. if i have to deal with jonathan sims speaking one word in person on voice in podcast not only will i reopen the tab i will save all my bookmarks out of admiration and want to watch the entire series again for the experience of being able to relish in all the times he is mentioned or alive. i dont even know why i love him so much. he writes stories but i am just grateful because i am HAPPI. he better have some awesome backstory to explain this if hes just some underdog whos a fan of good storytelling and wanted the irl version ill be smitten. THE MAGNUS ARCHIVES EPISODES 19 ("CONFESSION") AND 20 ("DESECRATED HOST")!!!

Please pleeaasee check it out, it's a duology, it's one of my favorite pieces of anything ever, I cannot recommend it enough, it's about an exorcist priest and the representation of Catholic Church is perfect (as opposed to literally every other horror I have ever seen in my life), I tried to find a single error and I couldn't, they even mention the presence of God in the Eucharist with the respect He deserves!! I love it with all my heart and you will, too, finally it's some good freaking food and you don't have to know the rest of the podcast to enjoy it! 💚

I want to find me some Christian horror.

I'm craving a vampire story where the titular vampire is a devout Christian dealing with the ramifications of being forcibly turned and fighting with the fear (myth) that vampires lose their souls.

Gimme werewolves fighting their lycanthropy like a habitual sin, with peers both helping and hindering with advice on how to deal with the affliction.

Gimme zombies...actually, give me more zombie media as a whole like "Maggie".

I want some Lovecraft, too.

the two-parter on Fr. Edwin Burroughs is wild. we have Anna showing up again, we see the other perspective of Lensik's statement about Hilltop, and another appearance from Breekon and Hope. what sticks out to me this time tho is the weird little fight that the Desolation and the Spiral (?) had over Burroughs at Hilltop where he's praying for protection and the thing that answers is from INSIDE HIM and it declares that he is not for the Desolation and that he is "marked". sometimes the Entities work together ad sometimes they're like "no fuck you this is MY territory" and actually make each other back off
