Scully and Mulder crack me up with their whole ‘it’s aliens or vampires!’ and ‘it’s science or God’ and while Scully is frustrating in episodes where it’s clearly something supernatural Mulder never fails to make me want to fight him when he belittles Scully’s faith.

It’s interesting how they both seem to reach for these otherworldly solutions to the tragedy in their lives.
