sooooo i had a little idea in the middle of class teehee
what if there was a scenario in which Toodles got akumatized, and whatever it was about her villain form's powers made her just too much for Luckylady to handle, so because Rodger obviously wants his daughter to go back to normal, Luckylady enlists his help with the Fox Miraculous :)
i know you had that one little art piece a while ago, but it would make sense to a degree for Rodger to have the Fox Miraculous because he's a detective and his whole thing kind of is figuring out secrets, and the Fox Miraculous creates illusions, so it makes a neat contrast
and because the appearance of the Miraculous suit is dependent on what the wielder desires, then Rodger doesn't necessarily need to have an orange suit, he could will it to be black/dark gray instead! call him Silver Fox (another name for black foxes and also a term for older men. haha rodger is an old fart) and bada bing bada boom Akuma!Toodles is defeated yippee!!!!
idk just wanted to yap about this random idea i had
ALSO QUESTION.
since Shelly is an adult, would she have access to the full extent of the Miraculous's powers???? like multiple uses of the Lucky Charm type dealio. or have you retconned that for convenience sake
god I need to start answering my asks this was from like 11 days ago- ANYWAY
I actually love the idea of Lucky Lady giving other Miraculouses to the toons so that they could help- not sure about the whole timeline in the cartoon but ye-
honestly you’re right about the whole suit thing, I like the idea of Silver Fox :] (makes sense for the fox miraculous because, y’know, the whole camouflage thing it has going on, idk what that was about but ye)
also I haven’t even really thought about the whole power thing honestly- but I think I might still keep the time limit becaaaaauuuuussssseeeeee ✨ stakes ✨ (idk how that would work with Allureium lol)
………. this whole thing made me think of something btw

Fox Miraculous - Reimagined:
This is inspired by the fact its "illusions" cannot be seen by cameras. Rather than this being a weakness, its a reflection of the fact most users do not understand the fox.
Name: Trixx Animal: Vulpes Era: Caveasphaera Domain: Mirage and Manifestation Kindred: Horse (Action & Migration) & Butterfly (Transmission & transformation)
Mirage: The Fox is often mistaken for creating illusions, but this is not so, in truth it creates what can be described as hallucinations within a certain range, altering the perspective of those within it to match the imagined perceptions of the user.
Manifestation: The power to manifest one's innermost thoughts, an image, ideas, or more via the Fox can also be applied on others. Just as the Turtles Shield can encase the user or a foe, so two an the Fox manifest a mirage based on the perceptions of someone other than the Holder.
Some Mages Thousands of Years ago: ... and this one lets the handler place hallucinations in someone else's mind, or even externalize their targets thoughts, manifesting them as a sort of shared mirage. Useful for trickery and interrogation.
Trixx, who just got here: Yeah that sounds about right.
(Maybe) Lila/Alya thousands of years later: So what you’re saying is I can use this to make people see the world as I do. That I am essentially eroding the barrier between my perception of the world and theirs, imposing my thoughts, feelings and visions upon the target. Which could allow me to steadily warp and erode their sense of self and view of the world until its either the same as mine, or simply whatever I sculpted them into. Essentially allowing me to steadily overwrite an entire personality and perception of reality? With all it costs me being the risk of my own slower erosion of self as all those around me join together in a panopticon like hivemind?
Trixx & Some Mages Thousands of Years ago:
Note: One can try and reshape people over time, but one cannot always predict the results. So it could go really, really badly.
#miraculous ladybug#mlb#world building#Text post#My work#The epic magic is even more horrifying#Combine horse fox & butterfly#& you can the power to transform the body rewrite the mind of any being anywhere#Nowhere to run nowhere to hide#the target is taken overwritten and changed utterly#The only limits being that the target needs to be or have been a living being with thoughts#The consequences well Let's just say they vary but are all equally fucking terrible#What did you think you could make a wholly new being & not get millions of other new things too?#Diseases dead rising the very nature of your and everyone else's being warped by proximity and more dreadful options abound!#Fox & Butterfly are also a fucking nightmare team up in this context cos it means if one targets the user in their sleep#Or for an extended period of time#It lets one shape their ideal Akuma or Imago#But again instincts exist so you may not get exactly what you intended you may get something far worse#Trixx ain't doing much better than thmage#Trixx: I didn't know I could do this! I never wanted to know I could do this What the fuck!?

Back again with some references to alts in SkullGirls, this time with Fukua.

There weren't as many that I recognized, but I did notice a lot of them were references to echo fighters in games; Fukua's storyline is centered around her being a clone of Filia and her wanting to break away from those connections.

The Shadow Court
Chapter 16 - I Dub Thee Shadow Knights

Marinette paced her room, she didn't know what to think, what to feel anymore, the revelation that Chat Noir had been Adrien all along left her feeling conflicted. Hurt and betrayal lingered in the forefront of her heart, but she could also feel her resentment for Adrien bubbling up and consuming her. It made sense now that she thought about it. Why Chat had come into her room that day after her fight with Adrien, why Chat was so angry all her pictures of Adrien were taken down? But did that mean Adrien knew she was Ladybug? No no, he couldn't otherwise he wouldn't have told her and Ladybug that he was falling in love with someone new or about what happened today.
But there was one thing she knew for sure, she couldn't trust Adrien anymore, she couldn't trust the one person who was supposed to be helping her in the battle for Good and Evil. Her heart ached as she thought about all the times she confided in him, the nights she wept and cried to him. All for him to turn around and become an abuser to her. She felt a fresh bout of tears start making their way down her cheeks.
"Tikki..." She said, her voice barely above a whisper, "What should I do? I can't... I can't go on like this." Marinette said as she pulled her knees to her chest and started sobbing.
"Oh Marinette, I'm so sorry." Tikki said as she used her hand to pet Marinette's hand, "I wish I could tell you this is the first time this has happened between a Ladybug and a Black Cat but it isn't and I'm going to give you the same advice I gave my bug back then, normally I'm against revealing identities, but you need people you can trust and rely on, you can't do this alone. You need your own team, that you as Guardian and as Ladybug can train and trust."
Marinette's eyes widened as she considered Tikki's suggestion. She couldn't bring back Rena, or Carapace, not only had they been exposed but she couldn't trust them either so that wouldn't work. But could she really bring Chloe, Jay, Felix, Luka, or Kagami into this fight? She didn't know if she could bear seeing them hurt. Chloe had a miraculous before, she knew of the powers that came with it... But she was the Miracle Queen akuma. But Chloe has also come a long way.
Chloe was now her loyal and closest friend, who could turn any situation in her favor. Felix was her steadfast companion who was sneaky and underhanded and had a knack for keeping calm in the face of chaos so he would also be a good choice. She could give Kagami the dragon miraculous back, she was very skilled and determined, but they had only just become closer friends and didn't want to do anything to ruin the balance between them. She could give Luka the snake miraculous, but messing with time was a slippery slope and she didn't want to put all that responsibility of maintaining the timeline on his shoulders alone. And then there was Jay, but he had only been in Paris for the past few months, but he was the one who made her believe in herself and the one who made it so she had this current group of friends that she could trust and rely on.
Eventually, she could give them all a miraculous. A small smile popped on her face as she thought of that. Her knights both in and out of the suits. She would have multiple people she could trust, people she knew would never hurt and betray her. Not like those other people.
"Marinette, healing takes time. it's okay to feel hurt and uncertain. But remember, you have the power to choose your own path. And when you have people on your side who you can trust and rely on it makes healing even easier." Tikki said, and it made Marinette feel better.
Marinette smiled and nodded her head as she formulated a plan. She quickly pulled out her phone, if she couldn't rely on Chat and his Cataclysm then she would need another way to stop the villain and Pollen's Venom was perfect for that, and having Trixx's illusions would help in battles as well. She wrote out a quick message 'Fefe Chlo can we meet at the top of Le Grand Paris in an hour?'
Once she received confirmatory answers from both of them she smiled. She took a deep breath and called out her transformation. She felt the familiar rush of power coursing through her veins. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she felt the familiar embrace of her superhero alter ego. But as she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror, her eyes widened in awe. The reflection staring back at her was nothing short of extraordinary. Ladybug took a step back to fully drink in her appearance. She couldn't help but gasp at the drastic change her Superhero self had undergone.
No longer was her suit the red and black polka-dot spandex it had once been, instead it had a darker edge to it. she was adorned in a black leather jacket with an array of silver studs that hung loosely to her frame, her wings poking out of holes cut in the back of the jacket. Beneath the jacket was a dark blood-red tank top that hugged her form. She also was now wearing a pair of black skinny jeans with silver chains around her waistline. completing the ensemble was a pair of thigh-high black combat boots with silver laces and black fingerless gloves with silver claw-like tips added to them.
Her hair was no longer styled in her once-signature pigtails instead now it was pulled into an elegant ponytail with two sets of ribbons, one red, and one silver, coming from her black eye mask and woven into her hair. As Ladybug took in her new appearance she smiled as she felt a wave of confidence course through her. She felt powerful, she felt strong. Ladybug stepped away from the mirror and went into the cool night air. She quickly made her way to the rooftop of Le Grand Paris. Neither Chloe nor Felix were there yet but she was fine with that it gave her time to think over what she would say to them.
It wasn't much longer before Ladybug heard chattering coming up the stairwell and instantly recognized Chloe and Felix's voice. She let a smile lay on her face. She loved them, she really did.
"Ladybug... what are you doing here?" Chloe said, a sense of apprehension coating her tone as she hesitantly walked to the center of the rooftop.
"Because I'm the one who called you here," Ladybug said.
"Wait but that would mean that your..." Felix said as he put his head down, now actively avoiding eye contact with the Superheroine.
"I know it's a lot to take in but something has happened and I need people I can trust and rely on to fight by my side. So Will you join me?" Ladybug said as she dropped her transformation and stepped closer to Chloe and Felix. She felt her heart constrict as she watched as Felix took a step back from her.
"Hold on, wait. Are you telling me that all this time... you've been Ladybug?" Chloe's voice wavered with a mix of awe and disbelief. She took a moment to absorb the gravity of the truth, her mind racing with memories and revelations. She couldn't help but feel a surge of admiration for her childhood friend, intertwined with a deep sense of regret for the way she had treated her.
Marinette met Chloe's gaze with a mixture of vulnerability and forgiveness. She understood the complex emotions swirling within her longtime friend. The weight of the past could not be easily erased, but the opportunity for redemption and reconciliation lay before them.
"Yes, Chloe. It was always me," Marinette affirmed, her voice steady and filled with sincerity. "I understand if my actions have caused you pain, and I want you to know that I forgive you. We've all made mistakes, but what matters now is how we move forward."
Chloe's eyes shimmered with unshed tears as she took a tentative step forward. Overwhelmed with a mix of emotions, she wrapped her arms around Marinette in a tight embrace. "I'm so sorry, Mars," she choked out, her voice filled with genuine remorse. "I gave you so much grief, so much undeserved criticism. I was blind to the truth, and I'm deeply ashamed."
“It’s all forgive Chlo,” Marinette said smiling at the blonde girl, "Felix," Marinette's voice was gentle, filled with genuine concern. She noticed his reluctance to meet her gaze, sensing the deep-seated guilt that weighed heavily on his shoulders. She took a step closer to him, her hand reaching out to cup his face, gently guiding his eyes to meet hers.
"How can you stand to look at me, Marinette?" Felix's voice trembled, his self-condemnation evident in his every word. The shame he carried threatened to consume him, casting a dark shadow over their budding connection. He felt unworthy of her forgiveness, believing that he had come dangerously close to betraying her trust.
Marinette's touch was tender, her thumb caressing his cheek as she searched his eyes for any sign of hope. She stood on tiptoe, closing the distance between them, and pressed her lips against his in a gentle, reassuring kiss. It was a kiss filled with forgiveness and understanding, a silent reminder that their shared past did not define their future.
"Felix, I've already forgiven you," Marinette whispered against his lips, her voice filled with unwavering certainty. "Yes, you made a mistake, but so have I. We all make mistakes, but what matters now is how we grow from them."
A flicker of disbelief crossed Felix's eyes, his expression a cocktail of gratitude, regret, and lingering self-doubt. "But you shouldn't have forgiven me," he protested, his voice tinged with remorse. "I almost took advantage of you, Marinette."
Marinette's fingertips gently brushed against his cheek, her touch a soothing balm for his wounded soul. "But you didn't, Felix," she affirmed, her voice unwavering. "In that moment, you stopped yourself, and I stopped you. We both recognized the line, and we chose not to cross it. Things were different then, Fe. And now, it's forgiven."
Felix's lips lingered against Marinette's, a tender connection that spoke volumes of the emotions swirling between them. As he pulled away, his eyes searched hers, curiosity burning in his gaze.
"What changed that made you want to reveal yourself to us?" Felix's voice held a mix of intrigue and genuine curiosity.
“I can’t trust Chat Noir anymore.” Marinette took a moment to gather her thoughts before responding, her eyes reflecting a profound shift in her perception of Chat Noir. "I discovered his true identity," she confessed, her voice tinged with a hint of sorrow. "And it's not someone I would place my trust in anymore. It shattered the foundation of our partnership, leaving me with no choice but to seek out a team of individuals I can wholeheartedly rely on. As the guardian, I have a responsibility to protect Paris and maintain balance. While I don't want to remove Chat Noir's miraculous since he hasn't done anything explicitly wrong, I need to surround myself with individuals I can trust without reservation, a team with no secrets."
Chloe’s eyes narrowed slightly as she absorbed the implications of Marinette's words. "Are you planning to reveal your secret to Jay, Luka, and Gami as well?" She inquired, her voice filled with a mix of anticipation and uncertainty.
Marinette paused, considering Chloe’s question before responding. "Yes, eventually," she admitted. "Once I've determined which Miraculous would be the best fit for each of them. I want to ensure that they are ready and willing to take on the responsibilities that come with wielding the Miraculous."
A mischievous smile tugged at the corners of Felix's lips as he leaned in closer, his voice laced with playful banter. "Is that your way of saying that you have a Miraculous for each of us?" he teased, his eyes twinkling with anticipation.
Marinette chuckled, her fondness for Felix evident in her expression. "You're always so clever, Fefe," she replied, her voice infused with warmth. "Yes, I have carefully selected Miraculouses for each of you."
"So, if you're not getting rid of Chat Noir, what do you want us to do?" Felix asked, his voice laced with a mix of intrigue and determination. He wanted to understand his purpose, to grasp the significance of his role in this evolving dynamic.
Marinette's gaze met Felix's, her eyes filled with unwavering determination. She took a step closer, her voice steady and resolute. "You will be my Knights, Felix," she declared, her words carrying the weight of her intentions.
A flicker of excitement danced in Felix's eyes as he absorbed Marinette's proclamation. The notion of being a Knight, a champion of justice, resonated deeply within him. He had longed for a sense of purpose, a chance to make a difference, and now, that opportunity had presented itself.
Chloe, ever the pragmatic voice, spoke up, her tone laced with curiosity. "What will be our responsibilities as Knights, Marinette?" she inquired, her eyes searching for guidance. She craved a clear understanding of her role, eager to contribute in a meaningful way.
Marinette's gaze shifted to Chloe, her expression filled with conviction. "As my Knights, you will stand beside me in the battles against evil," she explained, her voice unwavering. "You will protect the innocent, uphold justice, and use your skills and abilities to defend the city we hold dear. Together, we will face the challenges that come our way, united in our unwavering commitment to safeguard Paris."
Marinette called out her transformation once again and pulled out two Miraculous. Marinette got up and walked to where she housed the Miracle Box. She pulled out the Fox and Bee Miraculous Jewels and watched as Pollen and Trixx flew out.
“Felix, this is the Miraculous of the Fox,” She said, gathering all the confidence she could muster at this moment. “Should you choose to accept this miraculous you will become the first Knight. However, know that by accepting, you must vow your unwavering loyalty to me and me alone. Is that understood?"
Felix's gaze met Marinette’s, his expression resolute. "Marinette, I, Felix Graham De Vanily, do hereby swear upon my honor and faith," he declared, his voice filled with unwavering conviction, "to be your loyal and devoted vassal."
He took a step forward and knelt in front of her, his voice unwavering as he continued his pledge. "I pledge to provide you with my unwavering service, to act out your will and interests, and to uphold your authority in all matters," he vowed, his words echoing with a profound sense of duty. "I shall be your sword, at your disposal, ready to face any challenge that may come our way. I promise to never falter in my duty for as long as I draw breath."
As Felix's words hung in the air, Marinette’s eyes gleamed with a mixture of gratitude and trust. She extended her hand towards him, a symbol of the bond they were about to forge. "By accepting this miraculous and pledging your loyalty, you have become an integral part of my team," she affirmed, her voice filled with appreciation. "Together, we shall face the trials ahead, united in our mission to protect this city and restore balance."
Felix clasped Marinette’s hand firmly, a sense of purpose radiating from his every fiber. "I am honored to stand by your side, Marinette," he affirmed, his voice filled with unwavering determination. "With my unwavering loyalty and dedicated service, I vow to support you in all endeavors and to protect the people of this city with every ounce of my being."
“Then Felix, here is Trixx, the Fox Kwamii of Illusions and Mischief. To activate the miraculous simply say Trixx, let's pounce, your power word will be Mirage, think you got it?” The small orange kwamii looked Felix up and down.
“You're so much more mischievous than that last girl,” Trixx said, turning to look at Marinette, “I approve.”
"Thank you, Marinette," Felix declared, his voice filled with determination, as he gracefully entered into a slight bow. "Trixx, let's pounce!"
With a surge of energy, Felix's transformation began, enveloping him in a dazzling display of light. When the radiance faded, he emerged as a vision of sleek elegance and power. His attire, a testament to his newfound heroism, consisted of a form-fitting black suit accentuated by silver chains and striking blue accents. The fabric clung to his body, enhancing his agility and grace.
A leather jacket adorned with intricate studs encased his upper body, a symbol of his rebellious spirit and unwavering resolve. His hands were sheathed in gloves that featured sharp spikes, adding an air of danger to his already formidable presence. Knee-high boots, crafted with utmost precision, completed his ensemble, reinforcing his image as a force to be reckoned with.
A blue fox skull mask, meticulously designed, now concealed Felix's identity. It exuded an aura of enigmatic mystery, its intricate details capturing the essence of the fox kwami, Trixx. Behind the mask, Felix's eyes took on a fox-like quality, their pupils transforming into slender slits, mirroring the cunning and agility of his kwami.
His hair, once neatly styled, now flowed freely, adding an untamed edge to his appearance. Each strand seemed to be as free and wild as the wind itself, symbolizing his connection to the kwami within him. “What should I call you?”
He seemed to think for a second. “Silver,” He said with a sly smile on his lips, “You can call me Silver.”
“Now Chloe, allow me to reintroduce you to Pollen, the Kwami of subjugation,” Marinette said as she held out the bee miraculous.
Chloe took the bee miraculous from Marinette’s outstretched hand, her fingers trembling with anticipation. Carefully, she placed it in the crook of her ponytail, a radiant smile spreading across her face as Pollen, her kwami, materialized before her. "Pollen, Buzz On!" Chloe called out with newfound confidence, her voice carrying a hint of excitement.
Marinette and Silver watched in awe as the transformation unfolded before their eyes. Chloe no longer resembled the once-queen bee; she had become a completely different person, a hero ready to embrace her destiny. Her once familiar attire was replaced with a striking yellow bodysuit adorned with black V-shaped stripes that ran along her legs and arms. Silver accents traced the edges, adding a touch of elegance to the ensemble.
A black cropped leather jacket adorned Chloe's shoulders, the epitome of cool and edgy. Its design featured yellow stitching, silver studs, and chains draped over her shoulder, creating a dynamic and fierce aesthetic. Upon closer inspection, a meticulously crafted honeycomb pattern adorned the back of the jacket, symbolizing her connection to the bee miraculous.
Chloe's hands were adorned with yellow fingerless gloves, their knuckles embellished with stinger-like silver tips, exuding a sense of power and determination. Completing her transformation were ankle-high black combat boots, their yellow laces contrasting against the dark leather. With each stride, Chloe radiated confidence and strength.
But it was her mask that truly captivated all who laid eyes on her. An intricate black mask, delicately adorned with golden filigree, graced her face. Its design accentuated her features, giving her an air of mystery and allure. Behind that mask, Chloe Bourgeois stood ready to protect the city she once held sway over, a symbol of redemption and heroic potential.
"So, Chloe, what shall we call you?" Marinette inquired, a playful glint in her eyes.
Chloe pondered for a moment, a mischievous smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Call me Honeybelle," she declared with newfound confidence, embracing her new identity as the bee hero.
Marinette chuckled, nodding approvingly. "Honeybelle it is, a name as sweet and fierce as you," she complimented.
Honeybelle's mischievous grin transformed into a solemn expression as she kneeled before Marinette, a fiery determination burning in her eyes. "I, Chloe Bourgeois, declare this as my solemn oath," she began, her voice filled with unwavering conviction, "to be your faithful and devoted vassal."
With a deep breath, Honeybelle continued her words resonating with a sense of unwavering loyalty. "I am dedicated to providing you with loyal service, carrying out your wishes, and guarding your sovereignty," she vowed, her voice filled with a profound sense of duty. "I shall be your shield, your sworn protector, at your service."
Her gloved hand pressed against her heart, Honeybelle pledged her unwavering commitment. "I shall carry out my responsibilities with unwavering determination until my last breath," she declared, the weight of her words hanging in the air. The room fell into a hushed silence as the gravity of her oath settled upon them.
Marinette eyes shimmered with gratitude and trust as she extended her hand toward Honeybelle. "Rise, Chloe Bourgeois, for your unwavering dedication and loyalty are recognized," she said, her voice filled with both pride and appreciation. "With your pledge, you have become an invaluable member of our team, and I trust that you will fulfill your duties with the utmost honor."
Honeybelle rose to her feet, her heart swelling with a newfound sense of purpose. She looked into Marinette’s eyes, a glimmer of determination shining within her own. "I will not disappoint you, Marinette," she vowed, her voice filled with unwavering resolve.
"My knights," Marinette spoke, her voice filled with unwavering conviction. The words held a profound significance, cementing their commitment to one another and to the cause they now shared. In that moment, they became more than allies; they became a family, bound by loyalty and a shared purpose.
Chloe and Felix, their eyes fixed on Marinette, felt a surge of devotion and respect well up within them. They understood the magnitude of the responsibility placed upon their shoulders, and they were ready to stand by Marinette's side, fight for justice, and protect the city they loved.
"My Queen," they murmured in unison, their voices filled with reverence. The title held a deep meaning, signifying their unwavering loyalty to Marinette as their leader. It was a symbol of trust, respect, and the unbreakable bond they had forged.
In that moment, a powerful connection formed, transcending words and gestures. The touch of Marinette's hand on their cheeks was a physical manifestation of their trust and affection. It was a reminder of the journey they were about to embark upon, and the challenges they would face together.

I like to imagine that after Alya loses her miraculous, she goes full investigation and detective, doing all she can to figure out what Hawmoth, Mayura, and Volpnia (and eventually Madame Morphosis and Argos) are planning and where they could be operating from (since she can't really figure out their identities),
YOU GOT MY BRAIN THINKING!!
What if since alya loses the fox miraculous, she feels like she failed LB and her team. But she won’t just crawl into a hole and feel sorry for herself. She’s still going to do everything she can to help LB, even if she doesn’t have a miraculous anymore. Alya does this through increasing awareness about Hawkmoth’s influence over Paris!!
Maybe she transforms her already popular Ladyblog into an Anti-Hawkmoth platform. She links mental health resources, interviews conducted by her with victims of Hawkmoth, ways to identify an akuma butterfly, etc.!
This would really help LB because if there are less akumas being created, she can have time to recover from unification. And it would be harder for Madame Morphosis in Season 3 to find people to akumatize, but as an unexpected drawback, the ones she does create are extremely powerful because the victims were too emotional to resist.
I didn’t really think of her role after losing the fox miraculous and this is kinda perfect bc I love her so much!!
#she even traps an akuma#and she figures out it’s trying to get to the richer side of Paris#MAYBE EVEN THE AGRESTE MANSION.#AND SHE THINKS THE FAMILY HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT-#which would suck bc she knows her best friend is starting to like the son-#UUUAARRGGHH#anon you’re a genius#miraculous ladybug#chocoau char#thank you for the ask!! <3

Daminette December: 6-That's Mine
Damian walked into the classroom to find everyone shouting. He tried to piece the argument together, but all he heard was it had to do with Marinette. It sounded like some were accusing her of something and the other half were defending her. He looked at his Angel, only to see her trying to keep calm and deep breathing.
"Hey!" said a girl and shoved Mari, "Say something!"
He knew better than to anger his girlfriend, but it seemed this girl didn't. He smirked as she glared down her opponent; the same glare that subdued his father. A quiet flutter caught his ear and he turned to see an akuma aiming it's sights on Marinette.
---
Damian reached out and plucked the akuma from the air. The students fell silent, wondering what his akuma would be. Everyone had a reason, but what was his?
"A new challenger?" Hawkmoth called into his ear, "I am Hawkmoth and-"
He pulled his clenched fist close to his face and growled out, "She's mine. You stay away from her. It's not her time."
He closed his fist and squished the akuma into dust, glaring down at his hand. No one spoke a word.
'He's more dangerous than Hawkmoth!'
'Could he be a miraculous weilder?'
'What if he was Chat Noir?'
'He should be a weilder with Ladybug! They could stop Hawkmoth instantly!'
---
"Hey!" Marinette shouted, bringing everyone out of their shock, "That was mine!"
Damian turned to her and glared, "You wanted to be akumatized?"
"No." She sneered, "I already know how to make them leave me alone, but I do have a question. How did you make it go poof?"
"Killing instinct from Mother." Damian declared.
"That makes sense." she sighed, pulling him out the class door, "Come on. I think My Hero deserves some ice cream."
"Ice cream is a reward for children." he declared.
Marinette stopped, grabbed his shirt and pulled him down into a kiss. The class watched as he kissed back, shattering any doubt that they were together.
"There. My Hero is rewarded and is now treating me to ice cream." she smiled.
Flushed, Damian kept walking, leading her out of the classroom. Everyone else was just confused as to what happened.
'When did Marinette become a badass?'
'She was dating that guy?'
'Mari has akuma repellant?'
"Wait!" cried Rose, "Why would Marinette know how to repel akumas?"
The room fell silent. How many akumas had gone after her, for her to know how to get akumas to leave her alone. How had they not noticed?

Petty Warfare
Part One of the Pretty Petty Series
“Akuma I have no sense of decorum,” Ladybug grumbled as she surveyed the wreckage before her. It was all quite impressive considering the akuma had only emerged a few minutes ago and had already wreaked more havoc than the last eight akuma combined, but it was easy to do that with a literal sea of lava appearing and disappearing every few seconds.
It was not the look they needed right before their meeting with the Batman to discuss investigative assistance from the Justice League while still keeping them at a distance and allowing the Miraculous team to stay in control. It was a well-known fact in the hero community, and the general public really, that Batman and his team had a tendency to think they know better and taking over.
“Absolutely no respect for other people's schedules, Chat nodded in agreement as he stepped up next to her with a twirl of his staff.
Rena hummed as she whirled her flute and got in line. “It's one thing that's always bothered me about akuma, how rude they are.”
Carapace stepped beside her. “Well then, let's teach them some manners.” He looked down and around, for a brief second there was a glimmer of panic in his eyes, but it almost immediately disappeared in favor of a smirk. He grabbed his shield from its back holster and spun it on one finger before securing it on his forearm.
Ladybug rolled her eyes and shook her head, much to the amusement of the rest of her team. It was extremely common for her to do one or the other, but both at the same time? They rarely got her to do that. “And let's make it quick,” she advised firmly. “We have a meeting to get to and I for one do not want to let down Wonder Woman.” She made eye contact with the rest of her team but then rolled her eyes again at their hopeful expressions and twirled her yoyo.
Chat grinned brilliantly, almost bouncing from foot to foot watching the yoyo, but quickly cleared his throat and shook his body before easing into a model perfect pose. “Or give Batman the idea that we need him to step in more than we want.”
Carapace sucked in a breath. “Might want to get on that.”
“Oh my god, that's Red Hood!” Rena shrieked, barely able to keep her voice low enough not to echo across the rooftops. “I need to get a picture of him in the fight for the paper.” Her excited grin quickly twisted to a contemplative purse. “I can’t believe they brought Red Hood near Hawk Moth. That seems like a poor choice.”
“Red who?” Ladybug asked.
Rena pointed to a figure jumping from roof to roof. “Red Hood,” she enunciated slowly. “Affiliated with Batman… kind of… he has a bat on his chest so…”
Ladybug followed to where she was pointing, her face scrunching as she watched him. “But he doesn't have a hood.”
Carapace shrugged. “You don't have antenna but your called Ladybug.”
Ladybug scoffed and spluttered. “No, but I have…” she motioned toward her bodysuit. “I'm not called Ladybug and then running around looking like a fox.” She gestured harshly toward Rena. “He should be called Red Mask or something.” She suddenly narrowed her eyes and shot up straight. “Is that a gun?” she shrieked, not bothering to keep her voice down.
“That’s kind of his thing,” Rena grimaced.
“Not here it isn’t,” Ladybug snapped. Her yoyo was sailing toward him before Carapace could warn her that she might not want to start a fight with an ally while they were still fighting an akuma, but by that point, she was already gone and it was probably better for everyone involved if he just didn’t say anything. Except for Red Hood, but he was a big boy. He could handle himself… probably.
The yoyo hooked over a beam and wrapped around Red Hood’s wrists in the blink of an eye. He was yanked forward by his wrists, forcing him to drop both his guns over the side of the building and barely keeping himself from following after, as she jumped off the building and swung toward him, using him as her counterweight. Thankfully, he was heavy enough he barely moved as she swung. She landed gracefully and silently, but stalked over to him, stomping the entire way until she was almost chest to chest with him. “What the hell do you think you are doing?” she demanded.
He yanked his arms back and looked her up and down, the surprised look from seconds before replaced with a mask of indifference, eyes calculating and raised eyebrow unimpressed. “It's called saving the day sweetheart. Someone had to do it.”
“Oh shit,” Chat grumbled under his breath. He searched around for the rest of Red Hood’s team. Surely one of them could help deescalate the situation. He could calm Marinette down, but not if Red Hood was actively taunting her. But when he turned back to intervene, his eyes caught on Red Hood’s hands and he had to fight to stop from chuckling.
He was trying to be discreet. He was trying to be sneaky. He thought he could trick them. He really had no idea who he was dealing with. He could try as hard as he wanted, as long as he wanted, but he wasn’t going to get out of that line. He was stuck there for as long as Marinette wanted him there. Chat would know, from personal experience. If Red Hood had done any research before coming to their territory, he would have known that.
“It's called inflicting major trauma,” she hissed, “which is a bad thing when dealing with a villain who preys on negative emotions. I fear that's something most anyone could figure out.”
“Seems like getting attacked by an akuma might do exactly that. So stopping the akuma would prevent it. I fear that’s something even someone like you could figure out,” he growled back.
“Someone like me has figured out how to mitigate damage as much as possible from years of experience. Someone like me has learned unnecessary violence will only make everything worse.” She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to recenter herself, when she reopened her eyes, they retained the same blazing frustration, but her voice was steady and calm, disturbingly so for anyone who knew her. “You can’t shoot them. That is not how we deal with akuma.”
“That’s how I deal with bad guys, kid,” he snarled back. He took a step forward expecting her to step back, but she stood her ground meaning they were now physically touching chests and he had to lean back slightly to look down and meet her gaze. “This here is the real world and in the real world, you have to get a little dirty,” he lectured, not bothering to keep his condescension from his voice. “You can’t just sing a little song to make the bad guys turn good. Maybe that’s why you haven’t been able to defeat your villain.”
“That is literally how we stopped one akuma, you pretentious, cretinous brute. Violence doesn’t solve everything.” She leaned forward, filling in the space he had created and poking her finger against his armored chest. “In fact, responding with violence has made a lot of our situations worse. And I’ll tell you one more thing someone like me knows, that even if they don’t look like one, it is wholly, unmitigatedly wrong to shoot a kid even if he doesn’t look like one at the moment.”
She walked away a few steps, missing the way his entire body tensed at her words. When she turned back to him, she had a cocky smirk on her face, arms crossed, and hip cocked. “We fight smarter, not harder. I would say you should try it, but smarter doesn’t appear to be your strong suit.”
Red Hood stepped forward but before he could retort, another figure landed just next to him. “Oh good, you met the local heroes,” Nightwing cheered, his voice clearly artificially bright.
“I really need you guys to stay out of our way,” Ladybug stated, her voice commanding, clearly intended for all of the bats, but her eyes not straying from Red Hood.
“Yep, he met them,” Red Robin grimaced. He took a breath and turned to Ladybug and the rest of the team with a calm, confident expression. “We don’t intend to get in your way. We will assist if you need, but we are here for the meeting. We can just treat this like research.”
Ladybug forced out a breath then another before turning to Red Robin and Nightwing. Her demeanor completely changing from confrontational to commanding. “Look, you guys clearly didn’t bother to do your research before coming, so here’s the crash course…”
“You seem like you’d be familiar with crashing,” Red Hood muttered loudly enough for everyone on the roof to hear.
Red Robin glared at him. This could be a great collaboration, helping not only the Miraculous team but the Justice League as well. He needed to make clear they were not supporting Red Hood in this. “Didn’t you crash into a billboard a few weeks ago?”
“I was thrown into one. There’s a difference,” Red Hood hissed, stepping up to Red Robin who danced just out of his reach along the edge of the roof.
“Focus, children,” Nightwing thundered. He waited a few seconds, staring down Red Hood and Red Robin before turning to Ladybug and motioning for her to continue.
Instead, Chat stepped in. “Okay real quick, Hawk Moth uses magic to take over people and make them do things they would likely never choose to do otherwise. They are given magic powers and the powers vary by person. The magic is anchored in an item. Break that item, free the person.”
“Also important,” Ladybug cut in, “the people corrupted can be anyone. They can be completely innocent people. They could be children,” she added pointedly. “And they remember everything. They remember what they did and what was done to them.” She met Red Hood’s eyes fiercely. “Do not give our children, or any of our citizens, any more trauma than they already have.”
Red Robin waited impatiently, his eyes volleyed back and forth between them a few times before he couldn’t hold himself back any longer. “Is the object always prominent?”
“No,” Rena answered when Ladybug still hadn’t broken her glare. Plus, it was Red Robin! She was getting to talk with Red Robin! “Sometimes it's hidden.”
He quirked his head and let his gaze move past her toward the akuma that had now come out into the open. “How do you know what it is.”
Ladybug finally tore her glare from Red Hood to redirect it toward the akuma. “We figure it out,” she answered, almost absentmindedly, her focus now on the akuma as her eyes darted to every part of it.
“We deduce it based on the cause of the possession and context clues,” Chat added.
Ladybug turned back at the loud scoff clearly coming from Red Hood’s direction. “For example,” she snapped, stepping up to him again, “in this case we know it started from a game of The Floor is Lava, the handle of the drawer he was holding onto broke, so…” She paused and whipped around, eyes narrowed at the Akuma in the distance for just a moment before looking around, eyes tracing her yoyo, then the line to Red Hood, to Carapace to just past him to the edge of the building, then to Chat, and back to the akuma. “Carapace," she stated. Her words were heavily weighted like it there was an entire conversation in that one word.
And clearly there was, because Carapace instantly stood at attention and followed the path her eyes had followed seconds before, nodding in understanding. “On it,” he reported as he stepped into position at the edge of the building.
“Rena, a bit of cover, if you will.” Rena nodded and pulled her flute up to her lips, ready to play when the time was right. “Get ready Chat.” Her words carried the same weight, communicating everything with her tone and body language.
Chat followed her gaze and narrowed his eyes at an area of the akuma’s chest that was protruding strangely. “Always m'lady,” he answered with a determined nod.
Nightwing stepped forward. “Um, do you want to share for the rest of us? We speak to each other with our eyes not our tone so we’re a bit lost.”
Ladybug ignored him and stepped up to Red Hood with a broad, artificial smile. “Just want to say thank you so much for your service,” she purred.
Red Hood bobbed his head back and tried to take a step away, he was familiar with crazy, Harley had trained them all pretty well, and he would prefer to have some kind of point of reference to know if it was the fun crazy or someone’s going to die crazy. Unfortunately for him, he was already standing on the edge of the roof and had no place to go. “Wha...”
Before he could finish snapping at her, she kicked him hard in the chest. He tried to flail his arms, but his wrists were still bound together. Not only could he not flail, he couldn’t try to scramble at the side of the building to slow his descent. Nightwing jumped after him, but before he could reach him, a green shield appeared beneath him, not slowing his descent, but clearly there to keep him from hitting the lava.
Red Robin watched them long enough to make sure they would be okay before turning back to watch the Miraculous team just in time to see Ladybug, and therefore Chat, who was riding on her shoulders, get launched by the input force from her yoyo line, like taut line snapping and recoiling when the counterweight disappeared. Just as they reached the apex, there were a few flute notes played and Chat disappeared, but within seconds, ‘Cataclysm’ echoed over and between the buildings and Ladybug was moving smoothly and quickly over the rooftops toward the akuma.
Her yoyo line retracted with a speed that defied physics and was released again. He was only able to track it due to the glowing light it emitted before she reeled it back in. Rena whispered something he couldn’t understand before stepping up next to him with a huge grin and looking over the side. “It’s over now, you can come back up.”
Carapace patted Red Robin on the shoulder. “That was fun. We should do that again. I enjoyed working with you.”
Red Robin peeked over the side of the building to verify Nightwing was giving Red Hood a ride back up with the grappling hook before returning his attention to Carapace with a smirk. “I agree. Best collaboration we’ve had in a while.”
Rena turned her attention to Red Robin with an excited grin. ‘Hey, so,” she continued speaking uninterrupted even as a swarm of ladybugs flew all around them removing the lava, repairing the buildings, returning Nightwing and Red Hood to the roof, and Red Hood’s guns to his holsters. She motioned toward Nightwing without breaking eye contact with Red Robin. “He mentioned you guys communicate through looks. How do you do that when you all have the film over your eyes?”
“Experience,” a gruff voice answered from behind her.
Rena spun around and let out a squeal as Batman stepped out of the shadows to announce his presence. “That was so cool!”
“That’s why he does it,” Nightwing joked.
“Who does what?” Chat asked as he landed next to Red Robin just seconds before Ladybug.
“Batman,” she acknowledged instantly, her eyes finding him before she’d landed. Chat, however, screamed and jumped away in surprise, almost ending up in Red Robin’s arms. She continued without missing a beat. “It is nice to…”
Before she could continue, Red Hood barreled over to her, not stopping until he was towering over her, his massive body, seemingly even larger due to his armor, looming over her. “You could have killed me!” he thundered in a dark, cold voice.
Instead of being intimidated as he was used to, she crossed her arms over her chest with an unimpressed scoff. “I kicked you in the chest plate.”
“You didn’t know,” he accused.
“I felt it earlier. I knew you would be fine,” she snarled back but then she straightened up and opened her eyes wide in a perfect imitation of the innocence she usually embodied. “And you were so concerned with helping save the day I just knew you would want to help.” She almost kept the façade up except for a slight quirk of her lip when Chat snickered.
"Oh, you're starting a war you aren't prepared for, little girl," he growled.
She raised an eyebrow and leaned back like she was contemplating him. “I just defeated a lava monster. I think I’ll be just fine with little old you. And just because you’re bigger, it doesn’t mean you’re older, tougher, or smarter. It just means you have more capacity for bullshit.”
“Being smaller doesn’t mean you have less bullshit; it just means it’s more concentrated,” he hissed back.
Ladybug opened her mouth to respond but Chat cut in. “While I think there’s room for both to be true, this is not what is important right now.”
“Hood, we have more important things to discuss,” Batman barked. “Ladybug, I believe we had some things to discuss.”
Ladybug turned to Batman with a forced smile. “Sorry, I was distracted.”
“Don’t worry about it. He can be very distracting,” Red Robin assured her.
“The incompetent ones usually are,” she snipped back without moving her eyes from Batman.
Red Hood took a menacing step forward, but Nightwing put his arm out in front of his chest and silently pushed him back. “Let’s go somewhere a bit less exposed,” Batman suggested pointedly.
Ladybug nodded and motioned to a rooftop nearby. “There’s a bit more room over there and Rena can provide cover and Carapace can provide a sound barrier.”
“Perfect,” Batman nodded and grappled after her.
Nightwing kept his hold on Red Hood until she had already landed on the rooftop, far out of his reach. “You’re going to have to figure out how to work with her,” he warned Red Hood. “If she’s as good as I think she is, we’re going to be working with her a lot.”
“She threw me off of a building!” Hood hissed at him.
“No,” Nightwing smirked, “she kicked you off a building. And who hasn't?”
“Me. I haven't,” Carapace popped up next to them. “Can I?”
Hood turned to him slowly, pointedly. Even through the mask, it was clear he was glaring. “No.”
Carapace took a step back, hands held up. “Ooookay,” he shrugged. “Little disappointed, dude, not going to lie. You guys good to get over on your own or need help?”
Nightwing covered his mouth with his hand to hide his snicker. “No, we’re good. Be right there.”
“Rightio.” He saluted them and was gone.
“We won’t have to work with her if I take her out,” Hood observed, a bit too darkly to be joking.
“You can't kill her. Wonder woman loves her. Thinks of her like a little sister because of the whole her mom was Ladybug thing,” he pointed out with a smirk. “You’re going to have to work with her.
“But I’m pretty positive she's evil,” he huffed. He shot out his grappling hook to swing over to the meeting.
“Honestly, kinda surprised that doesn't make you like her more,” Nightwing chuckled. He suddenly straightened up, face bright with excitement. “Or! Focus on taking her out… on a date!” His laughter returned full force, echoing over the rooftops, at the glare he could feel Jason sending him from under his mask as he swung away. “This is going to be fun,” he giggled to himself before grappling to join the others.

I can't believe they cheated us so hard on Sabrina here (and Rooster Bold, and Caprikid, and Minot-). They didn't give her a transformation sequence, and they even gave her miraculous to 2 other people! It's one thing if it was Ladybug and Chat Noir using them, but no. Both Alix and "Adrien" got to use Barkk's miraculous!
I don't think anything about any of the designs really scream Dog to me, but I think Sabrina's was the best in concept out of all of them. I think part of it is the colors, Plagg has the distinction of being specifically a Black Cat which combined with the green eyes makes it hard to mistake what animal the miraculous is based on. But Barkk has very similar colors to the Fox miraculous, and that definitely makes it harder to tell.
Personally I think basing the dog miraculous on a Dalmation, Cocker Spaniel, or Basset Hound.
But anyway onto the dog miraculous, I think I will also be changing the power. Instead my idea was that once the ball connects to something it can lead the dog user to the object via a trail only the user can sense. But the condition is, they have to know what object they hit. If they intend to track a person, they need to know that person's identity. So if Hawkmoth appears they would need to hit his cane or his miraculous in order to track them. But the trace on the cane would wear off as soon as he de-transforms. The one on the butterfly miraculous would last longer, but would wear off over time meaning he would just have to keep moving until then.
Gabriel is aware of this power, and knows it would be very useful if he could get his hands on it. But the risk is pretty high for him as well, since if they manage to trace his miraculous he'd be in trouble. So Hawkmoth is hesitant to appear in person.
As for Vanisher, I based on design on the Invisible Man. Specifically the 2005 french cartoon of the same name. I recommend it, I love Alan so much. She can appear as just the hat, glasses, gloves, and coat. Or she can turn completely invisible The akuma is hidden in the pin on her hat.
I like Sabrina's preppy style, so when I saw a pinafore dress in this dark orange shade I knew I wanted to use it for her Miss Hound design. I also love the beret, I wish they didn't steal it for Cani-girl. I did tie her hair back and altered the shade of orange to a more auburn shade. Her ball is attached to her bow, and I decided to keep the thigh high socks since they were cute.

Logic talk time,

There was no reason to bring him out other than narrative. I know it works for the story, but practically speaking (in the show) there is no use for him. I mean by practical, superhero standards.
In the movie they made it that Ladybug's and Cat Noir's power grows when they are used in unison, so it's right to put both of them in action. But there isn't any hint for that in the show. However, there is a real danger: it's Cats miraculous that villain needs with Ladybug's to make a wish.
Ladybug is required to cleanse the akuma and repair the damage. Paris wouldn't survive without those abilities. But she could do with any help, Turtle or Fox miraculous are first bets. Especially Turtle given the idea to give her someone who will protect her, so yeah, give her a guy with a sheald. From strategicall point, Master Fu made a terrible blunder by revealing two miraculous that the villain needs to obtain.
Now, it probably would make for a completly different story. And narratively it's hard to imagine Ladybug without Cat Noir. But there is some potential in that plot, where Master Fu has a team already formed, but the challenge, for example in the season finale, rises to greatly to deal by any means and then he unleashes the second main miraculous holder he picks himself to save the day after thorugh deliberation whether to run and keep miraculous safe or to risk losing it for the possibility to safe Paris.
Imagine Ladybug and Chat falling for eachother in that one fight only for Master Fu to order Adrien to give miraculous away. Next season conflict is Marinette being extremely salty with her master because he doesn't want to bring Cat out again and also conflicted, because this one time guy suddenly makes her feel disloyal to Adrien (in that AU Adrien isn't distracted with Ladybug, so he goes for Mari immidietly). Or complete opposite. LB dislakes Cat and is fighting her pride everytime she needs him, making a pros and cons list to calling for this flirty, distracting, unserious, flamboyant boy. Or anytime she needs cotactlism, she tries to persuade Master Fu to give her black cat miraculous so she can chose someone "more fitting" but Master Fu is set on keeping as little people involved, therefore it's either that guy or no Black Cat at all.
Or even better, don't tell us who he is at the start. Make one time Chat Noir just show up in the darkest moment, then be gone and Puff, no sign of him until he is needed again. Show revolves around Marinette anyway, they didn't need to pretend like Adrien is main character. It's like, Chat Noir is on minds of so many fans because he us underexposed constantly. So maybe the fix was to intentionally underexpose him. That way people would lounge for him instead of resenting writers. Introduce him far later into the story, don't tell us who he is and roll with the mystery man who either is this fantasy lover Marinette is ashamed to dream about or the most annoying teammate to work with (and just imagine how much more impactfull would it be for the first Marichat scene if we didn't who he was and had generally no idea about his personallity). Make however some clues, enough for people start theorizing, like phew puns here and there coming from Adrien, he wears a distinctive ring, he knows something about miraculous that no outsider should, but also, put some decoys along the way, is it Felix, maybe it's another introduced character, maybe Luka (there is a whole Reddit post with that idea). And then, big reveal, it was ADRIEN all this time. Then people watch the show again and are like "OW MY GOD, I TOTALLY SEE IT NOW". Imagine

From Ashes to Embers
Chapter 15 - And The Room Falls Silent
Just as I glanced at my phone to check the time, a vibrant pink glow enveloped the screen, revealing the presence of Lady Wifi. She materialized before me, her digital form flickering with an air of both vengeance and malice.
"I'm here for you, Marinette. I'm your friend," Lady Wifi declared, her voice dripping with false sincerity. "You will tell us all your secrets, and you will feel so much better!"
A surge of adrenaline coursed through my veins as I realized the gravity of the situation. Without hesitation, I sprinted up the stairs, my heart pounding in my chest, desperate to escape her clutches. Lady Wifi's persistent attempts to pause me only fueled my determination.
I burst out onto my balcony, the cool afternoon air hitting my face as I scanned the surroundings for an escape route. Lady Wifi, searching for me, looked around frantically, her gaze darting from one corner to another. But this time, I had a plan.
As Lady Wifi's eyes fell upon the illusion of me created by Trixx, confusion washed over her. "How did she...?" she muttered, her voice laced with bewilderment. The clever illusion led her to believe that I was running towards Collège Françoise Dupont, throwing her off my trail.
Under Lady Wifi's lead, the Gang of Secrets followed the illusion, their footsteps echoing through the silent streets. Lady Wifi's desperate call rang out, her words a mix of frustration and feigned friendship. "Don't run away, Marinette! We're friends, aren't we?" she shouted, the echoes fading into the distance.
Back in the safety of my room, I turned to Trixx with gratitude shining in my eyes. "Thank you, Trixx," I whispered. With unwavering determination, I called upon my transformation, ready to face the challenges that lay ahead.
"Wait Trixx," My voice carried a note of concern, "when a kwami uses its power without a holder to channel its energy, doesn't it often set off some kind of catastrophe?" I asked, worry etched on my face.
"You're right, Ladybug. My power, however, creates illusions," Trixx explained, "Illusions have a way of playing tricks on the mind, so the side effects will hopefully remain confined to their imaginations," Trixx added, a hint of optimism tugging at his voice. He glanced back at Wayzz and Barkk, who seemed slightly annoyed by his recent display of power.
Rolling my eyes, I made my way to the balcony, my determination unwavering even in the face of uncertainty. The scene before me unfolded with an air of surrealism as the Eiffel Tower began to dance, its movements strangely distorted due to the Mirage.
"Oh, Trixx," I said as I sighed, a mix of exasperation and affection lacing my voice. With a flick of my wrist, I unleashed my yo-yo, using its power to transport me to the heart of the unfolding spectacle.
As I surveyed the cityscape from the rooftops, my focus was suddenly interrupted by Chat Noir's voice in my ear. "Hey there, m'lady," he greeted, his tone laced with playful banter. "Somebody is having a supervillain party and didn't invite us."
nodded, my focus shifting to the imminent danger we faced. "They're looking for Marinette Dupain-Cheng," I explained, my tone tinged with both concern and confusion. "One of their own classmates."
Chat Noir's voice held a hint of incredulity as he echoed my thoughts. "Haven't we already saved her a bunch of times? Funny you'd think everybody would like her."
A pang of sadness tugged at my heart as I thought about the recent events that had caused Marinette to become estranged from her friends. The weight of the situation settled upon my shoulders, reminding me of the complexities of human relationships.
Pushing aside my thoughts, I focused on the task at hand. "Well, apparently, she's managed to alienate all her friends at once," I said, my voice filled with determination. I could not let personal emotions hinder my duty to protect the city.
Chat Noir's reassuring presence provided a much-needed anchor amidst the chaos. Sensing my momentary lapse, he gently prodded, "You still there?"
Shaking off my thoughts, I refocused on the task at hand. "Just thinking," I responded, determination seeping back into my voice. "With five villains, it's not gonna be easy finding the object that has the akuma."
Chat Noir, his unwavering faith in my abilities shining through, chimed in with a hopeful tone. "I bet you already have an idea, right?"
A determined smile graced my lips as I formulated a plan in my mind. "I'm going to isolate one of the villains from the others," I explained, my voice filled with conviction. "I'll convince her to reveal the location of the akuma. Meanwhile, you track down Lady Wifi. She seems to be the one in charge of the others."
Cat Noir's support echoed in his response. "Good luck, M'lady," he said, his unwavering faith in me bolstering my spirits.
I smiled, grateful for his unwavering support. "Thanks, you too," I replied, my voice filled with gratitude. Together, we were a formidable team, ready to face any challenge that came our way.
With a graceful leap, I descended from the rooftops, the wind caressing my face as my yo-yo spun effortlessly through the air. The city streets blurred beneath me as I guided myself toward Timebreaker, skillfully luring her away from the clutches of the other four villains.
As I swiftly retrieved her pocketwatch and shattered it, a surge of disappointment washed over me. There was nothing within it, no trace of the akuma we sought. Timebreaker couldn't help but taunt me, relishing in her temporary victory. "Sucks to suck, Ladybug. I don't have the Akuma," she teased, a smug grin playing on her lips.
Maintaining my composure, I shrugged off her mocking words, responding with calm confidence. "No biggie," I replied, my voice steady. "I just wanted to talk to you anyway."
Timebreaker scoffed, turning her head away in defiance. "Like I have anything to say to you," she retorted, her voice dripping with disdain.
Undeterred, I pressed on, determined to bridge the divide between us. "Listen, Alix," I began, my voice filled with empathy and understanding. "From what I understand, you've been facing some challenges with your friend, Marinette. I may not know the details of what transpired between the two of you, but I want to share something about a friend of mine."
A flicker of curiosity danced in Timebreaker's eyes as she reluctantly turned her gaze back to me. I seized the opportunity to paint a vivid picture of the bond I shared with my own loyal companion. "She is the epitome of loyalty, headstrong, and dependable," I explained, passion infusing my words. "We may keep secrets from each other at times, but the trust we have in one another is unwavering. I know she will always have my back, just as I will always strive to do the right thing for her."
I locked eyes with Alix, my belief in her potential shining through. "And I trust you, Alix. I believe that you have the strength to reject the power Shadow Moth has bestowed upon you," I declared, my voice filled with conviction.
As my heartfelt words reached Timebreaker's ears, a visible struggle began to unfold within her. The grip of Shadow Moth's control weakened, a flicker of resistance shimmering in her eyes. A distinctive purple butterfly outline materialized on her face, a symbol of the menacing influence that sought to keep her enslaved.
"Don't listen to her, Timebreaker!" a distorted voice echoed in Alix's ears. "If you resist, you'll never uncover your friend's secret. Or Ladybug's, for that matter!"
My voice grew stronger, filled with determination as I implored Alix to trust in herself. "I trust you, Alix," I affirmed, my words carrying a weight of importance. "I need you. You're the only one who can help me."
Timebreaker's struggle intensified, her body wracked with spasms as her inner battle reached its climax. With a resounding scream, swirling clouds of black and purple engulfed her, transforming her back into Alix. I acted swiftly, catching her fragile form in my arms as she teetered on the brink of fainting.
Gently cradling Alix, I whispered words of reassurance, my voice a soothing balm against the residual effects of Shadow Moth's control. I couldn't contain my admiration and excitement. "Wow. No one has ever done that before... you're amazing, Alix," I exclaimed, a genuine smile lighting up my face.
Alix returned the compliment, her voice filled with gratitude and sincerity. "It's because you're an amazing friend, Ladybug. I see that now"
We raised our fists in unison, our hands meeting in the air. Smiling down at Alix I knew I made the right choice in allies, If she was going to continue to be by my side in the future I need her now as well.
But our moment of triumph was abruptly interrupted by the urgent ringing of my phone. With a sense of urgency, I retrieved my phone and glanced at the screen, my heart racing with concern.
"Which object holds the akuma?" I asked Alix, my mind already racing to formulate a plan.
Alix furrowed her brow, her eyes reflecting deep thought. "It's in a bracelet," she responded, her tone filled with concern. "Alya must have it, but you and Chat Noir won't be able to take on four villains at once."
A mischievous grin tugged at the corners of my lips as an idea formed in my mind. I reached for my yo-yo, spinning it open to reveal the Fox Miraculous nestled inside. "I think this calls for the master of Illusion," I declared, my confidence shining through.
Alix's eyes widened with awe as she took in the sight of the Fox Miraculous. "Woah! That's so awesome," she exclaimed, her excitement palpable.
I chuckled, a playful sparkle in my eyes. "I have loads of tricks up my sleeve, being the Guardian and all," I shared cryptically, knowing that I couldn't reveal too much.
Alix nodded emphatically, a newfound sense of responsibility shining in her eyes. "You can trust me, Ladybug. Your secret is safe with me."
I put the silver chain in her hands "Put it on, Alix, and when you're ready, say 'Trixx, let's pounce!'" I instructed, my voice filled with encouragement. "With your power of Mirage, you'll create illusions to aid us in our battle."
Alix followed my guidance, slipping on the Fox Miraculous. In a dazzling display of light, Trixx, the wise and mischievous kwami, materialized before her.
Filled with determination and a renewed sense of purpose, Alix took a deep breath. "Trixx, let's pounce!" she exclaimed, her voice brimming with confidence.
My eyes widened in astonishment as Alix underwent her transformation. Pink fox ears sprouted from the top of her head, accompanied by a fluffy pink tail swaying behind her. She wore a sleek black bodysuit, accentuated by vibrant pink and silver jean shorts that hugged her form perfectly.
But it was the rest of her outfit that truly caught my attention. A stylish pink and white bomber jacket adorned her shoulders, adding a touch of flair to her ensemble. Her footwear consisted of thigh-high black platform heels, exuding confidence and power with every step she took.
To complete her striking appearance, Alix wore a white fox mask over her face, adding an air of mystery and intrigue. The mask accentuated her determined gaze, as though she was ready to take on any challenge that came her way.
Alix beamed with pride, her voice filled with wonder. "This is incredible!" she exclaimed, spinning around to fully appreciate her new form.
I couldn't help but share in her excitement, a genuine smile gracing my lips. "You look absolutely amazing, Alix," I complimented, my voice filled with admiration. Curiosity piqued, I couldn't resist asking, "What should I call you now?" My eyes met hers, eager to learn the name she had chosen for her heroic alter ego.
A mischievous grin spread across Alix's face as she responded confidently, "Vixen, of course." The name perfectly captured the essence of her newfound powers and the grace with which she carried herself.
I nodded approvingly, acknowledging her choice. "Vixen suits you perfectly," I agreed, my voice laced with enthusiasm.
As the sun began to set over the picturesque Canal Saint-Martin, its golden rays cast a warm glow on the surrounding buildings and the tranquil water below. Cat Noir found himself in a perilous situation, pinned to the ground by the formidable Lady Wifi. With Vixen by my side, I quickly formulated a plan of action.
Lady Wifi's voice dripped with confidence as she taunted Cat Noir, her grip tightening on him. "No Cataclysm to save you this time," she sneered, relishing in her perceived victory.
My mind raced, searching for a way out of this dire predicament. Summoning my Lucky Charm, a pool lifesaver appeared before me, offering a glimmer of hope. My eyes quickly scanned the area, desperately seeking a solution. "Okay, I've got a plan," I declared, my voice filled with determination.
Interrupting our conversation, Cat Noir couldn't resist adding his clever remark. "At the very moment you touch it, I'll summon my power, and then who knows what's gonna happen to you," he warned, mischief dancing in his eyes.
Princess Fragrance, always reveling in her own schemes, interjected with a sinister proposition. "Why bother taking it when I can make you my slave and order you to give it to me?" she suggested, a wicked smile playing on her lips.
Calculating the best course of action, I issued a command. "Give them what they want, now!" I urged urgency lacing my voice.
In the midst of the chaos, Vixen, with her incredible ability to create illusions, sprang into action. "Mirage!" she exclaimed, her voice resonating with power.
Suddenly, a lifelike illusion of my alter ego, Marinette, appeared before the gang. The sight of our friend seemingly running away ignited a chase as the Gang of Secrets, fueled by their desire to uncover the truth, began pursuing the illusion.
Meanwhile, in his lair, the villainous Shadow Moth seethed with anger. "No! Take his Miraculous first! Come back!" he shouted, his frustration palpable.
"Thank you, M'ladies. I was a whisker away from cat-astrophe," he quipped, relief evident in his voice.
My unwavering loyalty shone through as I reassured him. "That's what friends are for, kitty cat. Okay, you two get to the pool now," I instructed, determination coloring my voice.
"What about you?" he asked, a hint of worry in his voice.
My resolve remained unyielding. "I'll keep our guests busy. Vixen will explain the rest of the plan," I reassured him, my voice filled with confidence.
I looked out of the corner of my eye where the illusion of Marinette continued to elude Lady Wifi. The tension in the air was thick as Lady Wifi closed in on her prey.
"It's time to give up your secret, Marinette!" Lady Wifi taunted, her voice dripping with malicious intent.
Outside the swimming pool, Princess Fragrance and the other akumatized villains reveled in their temporary victory. Their demands grew more audacious as they sought to control my every move.
In a dramatic turn of events, Vixen once again utilized her illusion powers, causing the Marinette illusion to vanish into thin air. Lady Wifi, left confused and disoriented, found herself suddenly submerged in the pool, a captive of her own misjudgment. Cat Noir, who had been waiting in the pool, used the pool lifesaver to trap Lady Wifi, effectively neutralizing her threat.
With Lady Wifi de-transformed, my attention shifted to the ongoing battle outside the swimming pool. Princess Fragrance, Horrificator, and Reflekta were still in relentless pursuit, their intentions clear.
As the battle against the Akuma-infected villains came to a close, I found myself standing outside the glistening swimming pool, catching my breath. Princess Fragrance, Horrificator, and Reflekta de-transformed, revealing their true identities. In my hands, I gently caught Rose, the innocent victim of their chaos.
"Thank you, Ladybug," Rose expressed her gratitude, her voice filled with relief and admiration.
I couldn't help but smile, my heart swelling with pride. "You're welcome, Rose. Protecting the people of Paris is what I do."
My attention shifted to the fluttering akuma, a small dark butterfly that symbolized the source of the villains' powers. With determination in my eyes, I prepared to capture and purify it, putting an end to its evil doings once and for all.
"No more evil doing for you, little akuma," I declared, my voice brimming with unwavering resolve. Swiftly, I extended my yo-yo, skillfully capturing the akuma in its grip. "Time to de-evilize!" In a dazzling burst of light, the akuma was purified, its negative energy dispersing into the air.
"Gotcha! Bye-bye, little butterfly!" I exclaimed, tossing the lifesaver-like object into the air. The Miraculous Ladybug power was activated, its magic spreading throughout the city. The damage caused by the villains, including the peculiar movement of the Eiffel Tower, began to reverse, piece by piece.
A sense of relief washed over me as the chaos subsided, replaced by a newfound tranquility. I turned to Vixen, my trusted companion, who stood by my side, their support unwavering.
"Pound it?" Vixen suggested a mischievous glint in her eyes.
A smile graced my lips as I mirrored their playful gesture. "Pound it," I replied, our hands coming together in a celebratory high-five. In that moment, Vixen, Cat Noir, and I shared a bond of victory and camaraderie, understanding the importance of our unity.
With the battle behind us, we retreated to a quiet alleyway, seeking a moment of respite. Vixen, weary from her first battle, de-transformed, returning to their human form. She exchanged a heartfelt high-five with their kwami, Trixx, who retreated into their miraculous.
Alix, still catching her breath, turned to me, gratitude shining in her eyes. "Thank you, Ladybug," she expressed sincerely, her voice filled with appreciation.
I met her gaze, my own eyes softening. "You know, without you and Chat Noir, I wouldn't have made it through today," I confided, my voice tinged with sincerity. "I'm truly lucky to have friends like you. So, thank you."
Alix and I embraced, our connection strengthened by the battles we faced together. In that alleyway, surrounded by the remnants of our recent triumph, I found solace in the knowledge that I had loyal friends who stood by my side. Together, we would face the challenges that awaited us, united in our determination to protect the city and preserve the balance of the Miraculous.
As I reluctantly released Alix from our embrace, I gave her a knowing smile. "Stay safe, Alix," I said, my voice filled with warmth and affection.
