New vinyl today! The local PBS/NPR music station collaborated with Whataburger to put out a compilation album of local musicians and they're handing them out at Whataburgers across the metroplex this month. Giving it a spin as I type, and I'm glad I got my hands on it.

I haven’t posted on here in a while, so here is a clip-video that I recorded of the Jon Young Band last week. Jon Young and I grew up in the same town. I went to school with his younger sister. Jon has been successful performing Americana music around the north Texas region in the local Red Dirt scene. Look his music up on your favorite streaming service—I recommend starting with his sophomore album, Relic, as the opener is still my favorite song of his.
